Principally Regulated by the Scripture

Proto Message

2Ti_3:12-17
Our Father we know by thy word :
All that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
Therefore make us strong.
let us not be: decieved by evil men and seducers which wax worse and worse, being deceived them selves.

Continue us in the things which we have learned of and have been assured of by thee:
Though we may have from a child known the holy scriptures,
allow them to make us wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Profit unto us All thy scripture given by thy inspiration:
for our doctrine, for our reproof, for our correction, for our instruction in righteousness:
That we may be the men and women of God perfectly & thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Amen

Gal 3:21  Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.
Gal 3:22  But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
Gal 3:23  But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
Gal 3:24  Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
Gal 3:25  But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
Gal 3:26  For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
Gal 4:1  Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
Gal 4:2  But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
Gal 4:3  Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:
Gal 4:4  But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
Gal 4:5  To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
Gal 4:6  And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
Gal 4:7  Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
Gal 4:8  Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.
Gal 4:9  But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

I want you to imagine this:
You are a prodigal son, a reprobate child who from birth have had a bad disposition towards your fathers rules, it happens that your father is a Mighty Lord.
Your Brother is a King of Kings and heir of all the Fathers wealth.

By birth right, so to speak, You are a son of the LORD, SO you are a prince, you are a chief citizen of the common wealth of your father’s Kingdom Called Israel, meaning prince ruling with God.
By your possition as your father’s Son, you will have a part to play in this kingdom under the LORD and King’s rule.

Because of your father’s desires for you to be a good son, and responsible heir of the inheritance he has given you, he shuts you up with school masers, that is guardians and governors or teachers to teach you and instruct you, educate you in the laws of the kingdom.

But, there is one simple truth you have rebelled against in your life, which is the foundation of all wisdom and knowledge, a lesson you have ye to of learned,a n offence that if you persist in it, you will loose your heritage from you father, and you will have no part in his kingdom, you will be no different then than a servant, a state you are in now that you Father has put you under and shut you up to this set of teachers, school masers, that is guardians and governors.

While shut up with these teacher and schoolmasters, the first law and lessons you are taught is this:

1. You do not deserve your to be called a son of your father because you are wicked and often break his rules as an ungrateful or unthankful child.

2. You didn’t realize it, but your Father the LORD is the king of all things, there is no Lord higher than him anywhere and everyone who rebels against him and rises up against him falls and is destroyed.

3. Your elder Brother is the King of Kings and that since he was begotten he was perfect and obedient, the perfect heir of the Father, never failing in one thing he was commanded to do but has a perfect will with Father and is inseparable from his purposes, this first born brother has been given the key and keys of the kingdom, he always sits at the right hand of Father, and he is intimately in communication with Father even in the treasury and throne room where no one else but him is allowed to go, but he can and does dwell with him there at his will.

4. you learn from all this truth is that you Father and Brother is all wise, far more wise than you will ever be, they see all things at all times an know all rebellion against the kingdom’s laws which have been declaired to the servants of the Father by his first born Son as His Law, and every time you Father Speaks it is Law, he is the ultimate sovereign LORD.

5. All of this learning is fearful to you, you begin to fear the LORD and his might, and fear the anger and punishment of your Father and his wrath. Time is spend in this fear as you fear for your life, knowing the father placed you under this guardian and govorner to teach you what you didn’t listen to.And in comparison to your Brother you are nothing worth keeping.

6. But the fear of the LORD grows, and in ever little lesson you learn f your Father’s supremiacy you realy your inferiority, how you are not worthy to be call His son, when you concider the perfection of your Father’s word in all you lessons it shows you how imperfect you are, and the more you look at you Brothe the King the more you relize how truly perfect he is as well, and how much you Father approves of him.

7. Your brother is your only chance to ever come to the Father and beg for his forgivness, You relize if your Brother the King would redeem you and mediate for be fore the Father He might understand your infirmity because he is at least like you found n fashion s a man, where as Father is all glorious and never leaves the light of his glory.

Now look at Gal 4:4-5 and let me read it to you in the context of the story line I’ve scetched out in part as this 8th point of the first lesson a prince must learn to rule with his God:

8. Then in the fulness of time, the Father sent forth his Son, who was like you : made of a woman, and also made under the law, and he sent him to To redeem them that were under the law, that you might receive the adoption of a son. And that you must be redeemed in this same way. Gal 4:4

Now turn to Rom_8:2-3 and realize what this means :

Rom 8:2  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Rom 8:3  For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh.

So you want to be called citizens of the Commonwealth of Israel Eph_2:19?
Do you want to be a prince ruling with God Gen_32:28?
Do you want to be an heir according to the promise,Gal_3:29; Tit_3:7 ?

Then do you want the Law of that Commonwealth kingdom or not to rule your life in worship?

Do you want your own manners and customs, or an adopted set of manners and customs given you you by the vain traditions of your earthly fathers, or do you want the manners and customs of God the Father’s kingdom?

Then with Timothy you must go to the word of God, the Law of God and be educated. The first lesson is God’s glory, God’s sovereign majesty in his kingdom, and the sovereign majesty of his King which sits on his holy hill, Jesus Christ the Messiah.
But after Faith is come and you are not under the school master we must take with us the lesson we learned and be the prince we are called to be as heirs of his Kingdom as saints in light. And the lesson of the Father being LORD God is hat He rules and he rules by Judgment and justice which is determined by him Law. The continuation of the lesson of the fear of God is the Love of God, and lesson of the Love of God is, if you Love the King, keep the kings commandments.
The lesson of the kingdom to those supposing them selves to be Son’s and heirs, which is a joint heir with Christ Rom_8:17 .

And so, the question is this, After Faith has come to us do we need the knowledge of sin?
what it is to be proficient at not sinning?
Is it not as Roman 8:4 and to rather allow the righteousness of God to be fulfilled in us who claim to now no longer walk after the flesh but after the spirit?
Is this not why Gal 4:4-5 said “when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons? Just as Roman teaches the same lesson in

Rom_8:2  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Rom 8:3  For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh?

Are we to live contrary to the Law which the School master teaches?
Or are we to live according to the lesson taught?

If we were not talking bible it would be a simple answer of Yes,
but because many have been taught else wise or for us who are just simply working trough our own doctrine on this issue need a foundation I wish to drag it out.

Go back to our pray and focus after Paul tells an warns of evil men deceivers and seducers’, he says:

2Ti 3:14  But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
2Ti 3:15  And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
2Ti 3:16  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Ti 3:17  That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Just lest the simplicity of what Paul is saying Sink in, Reflect now upon and connect the introductory text from Galatians 3-4.

We have discussed the regulative principle in regards to worship, service or obedience to God’s word:
“Do not add to or take away from the worship or service we preform in obedience to the word of God.”

This applies to our prayer in that we realize that there are those who do not believe in or enjoy Scripture alone theology and they particularly do not enjoy the doctrine of the sufficiency of Scripture, especially when applied to Worship. Rather we are warned that evil men and seducers, will deceive you because they are deceived themselves, there for we as the children of God being taught of the Holy Spirit of the sufficiency of Scripture are being taught:

1st the essential wisdom of salvation through faith in Christ, that primary knowledge of sin which is the Law in the heart which leads us to Christ as a savior from sin.

2ndly we are made wise unto salvation from the life of sin we live in the flesh,
this is why the doctrine of ‘omnis scriptura’ is brought up by Paul or ‘pasa grapha  ‘= All scripture is Breathed by God, that is written by the Spirit’s work through his servants the prophets. Paul teaches the young bishop Timothy this doctrine to assure him and give him resource in the bible to teach him, lead him and guide him in what so ever way the lesson instructs.

Prior in the epistle to Timothy 2Ti_1:5 we were told of Timothy’s Grandmother Lois and mother Eunis who raised him up from a child to ‘know’ the holy scripture, but it is what was in Lois and Eunice and Timothy that is the Holy Spirit which identified with his own work in writing all the scripture.
Now let’s combine the prayer which we pray with the introductory verse which we will be reading:
Timothy was taught by his grandmother and mother the holy scripture, thy were his school master and his parents we could say that Timothy was Christian home Schooled in a sense, his teachers taught him knowledge which he learned, but he learned the wisdom of salvation , he was made wise unto salvation by the work of the holy spirit.

Distinction must be made here or else a critical or crucial error will occur in our doctrine, you must recognized that mental learning cannot make you wise unto salvation, do you remember:

Joh_6:29  where Jesus… said, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Joh_6:45  It is written in the prophets (LXX. Isa_54:13), And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

Mat_16:17  where Jesus said Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

These verses are clear as to who the teacher is, and what lesson you need to first learn by Faith before all else in  being ‘wise unto salvation’, and that wisdom is not learned by the faculties of your flesh.

All who have learned what they know concerning the work of God’s Holy Spirit have done so by the Work of the Holy spirit, though knowledge, like book knowledge in School may be taught to you by the school master or Teacher appointed over the child, that knowledge which you have learned cannot become wisdom unto salvation from sin Jesus or wisdom of how to be saved from a corrupt life unless the Spirit of wisdom and Truth reveals it to your heart by Faith.
Until that point in our life, scripture can be multiplied in our memory over and over again, learning and knowledge can increase in our mind, we can recite verse after verse and sing psalm after psalm, but until the Spirit of truth wells up in you and condemns you by the perfection of the lesson of knowledge, and forces you to look at your own faults in comparison to all that you have learned and have yet to learn from the text book of Scripture written and breathed by God himself, until that moment of revelation causes the fear of God to be unspotted in your heart, clean or pure holy fear is taught to us perfectly and completely and that is the mechanism which actives our heart to unite with our mind and soul to know we need a savior from even our secret faults and drives us to Faith in Christ. Now the lesson is known, it is learned it is complete and we are complete in him by that holy fear of the Lord which is the beginning of Wisdom which recognizes the Grace of God which we have faith in. That without a free gift from God unto Salvation we would be trapped in a school room under a guardian which is teaching us information, knowledge which we have no wisdom in.
But, In fulness of time however God will send his son, born of a woman born, like you, under the Law, but he has come by his eternal spirit and covenant to redeem you from being under the Law… Christ Jesus being your redeemer is by biblical principle your brother and kinsman, and therefore he has taken you into his house hold of faith and out of the bondage of sin under the Law you have been sold into to learn your lesson of faith in your redeemer.

Turn to:

Eph_2:13  But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
Eph 2:14  For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Eph 2:15  Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
Eph 2:16  And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
Eph 2:17  And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
Eph 2:18  For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

The lesson we are taught by God himself is not granted to us so that we may shut the books of he law, of all scripture and say Faith in Jesus is graduation, now I am done.
Let me remind you, that the mentality regarding Schooling and education and learning which we have developed in our countries in the west is not normal to our European fathers or our Christian fathers.
The focus of Schooling is on the knowledge, the learning the wisdom it self, that they can build upon the foundation which they learned in school, not to be a slob in doing what they were trained in, but to be proficient and successful in it.
What doctor are you glad abandoned his vocabulary test when he went to his practice?
What auto mechanic are you glad for got his math lessons when we torks the bolts on you motor?
What builder are you glad he forgot his fractional measurements from middle school when he is framing your house?
Continue in:
Eph_2:19  Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
Eph 2:20  And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
Eph 2:21  In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
Eph 2:22  In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

God has taught us by his spirit our sin and his righteousness by the scripture and has given us His Holy Law for a reason, to build a fitly framed holy temple together in the Lord, who we are to be a habitation of God through His spirit.

As a child you are to learn, you are to retain knowledge, and it is all to this one point that you will be made wise unto salvation by Faith in Jesus, and that the wisdom of that salvation will help to build you up to be the building the LORD desires you to be, his Holy temple, his habitation.
This is why you we are brought close to him, why God is near us
this is why he has made peace with us through Jesus
this why Christ abolished the debt note of our sin that held us bound to sin and death, he payed the debt we could not pay, by his blood to redeem us as heirs, as his brothers and sisters.
He has done so to build with us, for us to be members of a habitation he desires to dwell in.

And while we build shall we forget the bible that we have learned from?
Shall we stop going back to the wisdom that taught us salvation by Faith in Jesus’ Grace to us?
Should be forget all the words of God in the book of inspiration?
or should we rather do as Timothy is encouraged by our Brother Paul the Apostle?
To profitable our doctrine, To reprove us, to correct us, to instruct us in righteousness:
That we may be the men and women of God perfectly & thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

So what is now our profession? As Professional Christians? What Job are we to be engaged in in building and being the building of God’s Holy Temple?

Mat_5:13  Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
Mat 5:14  Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Mat 5:15  Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Mat 5:16  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Mat 5:19  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

About JS Lowther

Foremost I know that I am a chief sinner saved by Grace. I am a servant of YHWH Almighty the one true God Who is Father, Son and Spirit. I believe in God's only begotten and perfect Son Jesu(s) Christ whose redemption power of my soul I have Faith in and testify of. Having been redeemed by the blood of Christ, I wish to no longer spend my time in the lusts of the flesh and of this world, but to promote the Gospel of the Kingdom by means of the knowledge of the New Covenant, a reNewal of the Covenant God made with his people Israel in the blood of Christ (Jer 31:31 and Heb 8:8) whereby He writes His Law upon the Heart and Mind beside the forgiveness of sin and transgressions. I believe Christ Jesus is the incarnate Son of God as the WORD made flesh, and the son of man born of the virgin Mary conceived of the Holy Spirit: I believe Christ Jesus Lived a perfect life for us as a living sacrifice as well as a pattern of the Sanctified newness of life a believer has in Him, I believe Christ Jesus died a cursed death on the Cross for His people of Covenant who are sinners, and I believe in Christ Jesus who Resurrected with power from Death from the grave to Justify the offenders. This is the same Jesus who is indeed the Son of David and king of Israel, who is both LORD and Christ over all the kings and dominions of the earth! In the fullness of time YHWH will regather his people under the Head of the Church, Jesu(s) Christ to affect his will according to the Lord's prayer, Psalm 2, 8 and 110 as well as Genesis 1:26. The focus of my administration of the Gospel is like unto my Lord's who said "I have come not but for the lost sheep of the house of Israel.."(Mathew 15:24), and so I have come to my European kinsman according to the flesh. It is my mission to show the Israel of God the Salvation which is taught by Scripture Alone and offered in all ages by Grace Alone through Faith Alone in the work of Christ Alone to the Glory of GOD Alone. As a modern day Puritan separatist it is my goal to purify the church of Christ with Faith heretofore stated. I am studying to show my self approved, if you have any questions just ask!
