Part 2
The Necessity of Righteousness
By Faith Alone
Considering our walk in comparison to the Biblical Testimony of YHWH GOD’s Law and asking our selves if we walk with God according to his commandments and laws or do we walk contrary to him, that is against his commandments and Law?
…as a man chasteneth his son, so YHWH thy God chasteneth thee.
Lev_26:23 And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;
Lev 26:24 Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.
Lev 26:25 And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
Lev 26:26 And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.
Lev 26:27 And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;
Lev_26:28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
In the curse pronounced by Lev_26:23-28, again the Hebrew word YaXaR is translated by the English translators ‘chastise’ here in Lev_26:28, whereas in this same chapter YaXaR had been translated punish in Lev_26:18, reformed in Lev_26:23, indicating that the reform which YHWH God is looking for will come with chastisement, punishment when his Law is transgressed, yet in the horror of this lesson we remember:
Heb 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
Heb 12:7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
Heb 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
As the Law establishes this very love of God as of a father and a son, to teach us to be son’s of God by acknowledging the Goodness and perfection of YHWH’s Law:
Deu_8:2 And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.
Deu 8:3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.
Deu 8:4 Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.
Deu 8:5 Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.
Deu 8:6 Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
So Why does God punish as what is written in Leviticus 26? Because he loves us and he desires us to be like his Son, that we may be called the son’s of God; this is why as a Christians: Nation, Church, as families, and individuals must Reform according to the Word of God, because if we return to his steps he will have respect unto us, and make us fruitful, and multiply us, and establish his covenant with us and He will set his tabernacle among us: and his soul shall not abhor us.
Lev 26:12 And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.
Who would not want this response from Almighty God? To walk with our father, As a Father who respects his grown child. This is the Reform the LORD GOD is looking for.
FAITH COMES BY HEARING
The WORD of GOD!
The point wished to be made in the last message was the absolute necessity of Reform, which is grounded in Scripture Alone, establishing YHWH Alone Worship, thereby teaching our heart and mind to acknowledge the necessity of Faith Alone in YHWH God according to his Word, those who are YHWH’s people will be drawn to him by the true and exact division of the Scripture to ascertain YHWH’s will for our life, how it is that He by his revelation corrects us, turns us, and even punishes us according to his enduring mercy so that we might Reform by his prescription to treatment our Sinful state (1Jn_3:4-which is transgression of the Law of God). And while this is raveled in God’s Word clearly and exactly, Biblical faith is often times in our modern day ignored for a feeling of faith accredited to the spiritual realm of ones own religion, or personal relationship with their god, in contrast to the Faith taught by the Word of God the bible which teaches Biblical Faith, this personal salvation doctrine teaching a feeling of peace and safety in ones heart derives it’s origin in one’s own selfish religion taught by their own spirit and accounting it to the non-material world of Spiritual Religion.
Yet we are told in the 10th chapter of Romans that we at this time have no need to ascend into the heavenly spiritual realm to bring the faith down, nor do we have need of going into the spiritual realm of the dead to bring it up, rather we are told plainly:
Rom 10:8 The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
In this condensed testimony it is substantiate that the Word of God’s Law which is in this quote from Deuteronomy 30 is equated to a word of Faith, the word of Faith is equated to the Resurrected Christ which must be believed in the heart and that this is called the Gospel / the Good-message which must be Obeyed. And the conclusion of the matter is the obvious and true belief that Faith comes by hearing by the Word of God, which is yet again the testimony of the person of the Son of God as the Word made flesh of Jn_1:1-14 and the totality the Report of His Gospel and the necessity of Faith seen in obedience to the Gospel as defined heretofore.
Stumbling over the Law?
Not Walking by Faith!
When being called by YHWH, many examples exist of those who turned from another path into YHWH’s Worship, and according to the holistic testament of Scripture, none compare to the Righteous Faith like Abraham our ancestor who did not doubt YHWH or His word but he said Amen to it. Even beyond Abraham’s own wants and desires he showed his Faith in his life’s walk, in his actions and in his works, it is an impossibility, in the life of Abraham, to detach his Faith from his works and or obedience, yet we clearly see Abraham in contrast to others of the Scripture which obeyed the Word with out Faith on a physical level with no reckoned Righteousness though they had walked in a way which seemed on the external level to have complied with the Word of God, nevertheless it did not Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone… Rom_9:32 tells us.
Yet Abraham, the very father of the Law of Circumcision for Israel, stands in opposition to his own descendants who are doing the works which God commanded to be done as integrated into the codified law of the Nation of Israel (Lev_12:3 And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.) are said in various places, including Romans 9 that they stumbled by not receiving it by Faith.
Consider it like so: As when we are praying in a room full of people, there are some who bow their head in respect to those praying, there are those who bow their hear to God our of respect, their are those who say Amen because the congregation says Amen, but their are those who believe in their heart and say Amen with their mouth.
Abraham AMeN-ed YHWH
As has been discussed in past studies, the Hebrew word Amen is not just a religious way to end a prayer or agree with church brethren, Amen in Hebrew literally is the word for truth which is the word for Faith as well, in the Hebrew understanding Faith, belief and trust are synonym of truth, so say ‘let it be’ or ‘so be it’ is what Amen means, and that is a fine understanding, but the truth is that the word conveys the general Idea of Truth. So when Gen_15:6 says: And he believed in YHWH; and he counted it to him for righteousness. It is communicated : Abraham AMeN-ed YHWH, he trusted him of a truth that all he said and promised was so.
This is our calling as well, when we reflect upon our heart and mind set as to where we are in a Faith based relationship with God (an over used and misused figure of speech by religious folk), that Faith based relationship is weighed and judged by the sincerity of the trust genuinely had in the God our belief resides in, YHWH knows it and we know it, past that point no man may provably examine the sincerity of our faith when it is in the heart and mind. Yet, when it comes to proof of faith, the proof that one has said AMeD to God, the evidence of Truth is seen by others and it must be seen in the works we walk in.
Consider Abraham’s life of Faith:
Heb 11:8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
Heb 11:9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
Heb 11:10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
Heb 11:11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
Heb 11:12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
…
Heb 11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
Heb 11:18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:
Heb 11:19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.
Do we then make void the law through Faith?
NEVER!
(God forbid)
Yes, we establish the law.
Romans 3:31
We are as well told of the exampled faith of Abraham this in:
Rom_4:11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:
Rom 4:12 And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.
“who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham…”
Stopping to recount all of the steps which Abraham took in his flesh because he was lead by the spirit by the word of God, we have our example of the origin and extremity of Faith in a person.
That is that as Jas_ 2:20 tells us:
But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Jas 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
Jas 2:22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
Jas 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
Jas 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
And to further cap off the obedience Abraham had to the Word of God which he understood, this report is given of him to his son Isaac in continuation of the promise made to Abraham by Faith: Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws. Gen_26:5
And Yet to all this point we are forced to remember and balance Paul, as he establishes in his admonition the uncircumcised and the circumcised to walk as Abraham and be a doer of the Word of God:
Rom_4:13 For the promise, that Abraham should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
Rom 4:14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:
Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.
Rom_4:15
Paul is hear teach a very logical truism, that in all of Abraham’s obedience, or of Abraham’s seed’s obedience was not found the inheritance; rather the promise was had through the righteousness which proceed all. And the simplicity of the point is then made that this faith would be made void and the promise would never come to pass because the law worketh wrath in it’s nature, thus to establish it’s effectiveness it is not based on Law, thus there can then be no transgression because it is based on Faith which God thinks of as righteousness. In other words the promise could never be made by obedience to the Law or a Law, because it would condemn us as sinners and no one would inherit the promises.
The Law is not a promise mechanism, it is a wrath mechanism :
Because the LAW is the Righteousness of God
The only way to Equalize that wrath is by
‘FAITH accounted as righteousness.’
Rom_4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
Rom 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
Rom 4:18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
Rom 4:19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:
Rom 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
Rom 4:21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Rom 4:22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
Rom 4:23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
Rom 4:24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
Rom 4:25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
Proto-Nomos
FAITH must Come Before Law
This is why Faith in the WORD of God is primary, it’s proto-Law, this is why Paul entered this discussion with the primacy of this statement: Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. Rom 3:31
Faith Alone is the key, not by works of our self or of any thing we can do, for the Law works wrath when it is acted upon or not upon by faith. Faith is the key and that is Biblical Faith, defined by the revealed Word of God through and through. Again unhindered by the baggage of Traditionalism and Spiritualisms which forbid living according the Scriptures Alone.

FAITH Comes by Hearing
Hearing comes by The WORD OF GOD!
An example of the pitfalls of the modern world which elevate a faith which is not defined by Scripture Alone:
There is a thing called faith that is seen in most churches in the world today is not Holy Spirit derived, rather it is self gratifying emotionalism, which can not be distinguished from the happy go lucky atheist or agnostic, or witchcraft practitioners who also have the emotion named ‘faith’. This ‘faith’ has no need of an external walk which is seen in the flesh but generates from the Spirit because the cumulative belief (which is in fact the real faith had) of these Christians is that ‘faith’ does not derive, resemble or reflect the Faith found in the bible as seen in the Faithful men of Scripture! It’s another religion of spiritual origin derived from Emotion, wholly intangible and unobservant to the world who have in their selfish faith the same attributes as the so called christian “love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance…” Gal_5:22-23
In it’s best form this spiritual religion is internal and self centered, in it’s worst form the self centered nature desires what God’s Holy Spirit as communicated in His Law condemns as sin, a work of the flesh is then justified (made righteous) by a particular or collective fruit of the spirit as to allow for it’s spiritually safe conduct in ones life.
All 9 fruits when they are not defined by God’s Word via His Law are not fruits of the Holy Spirit but fruits of ones own spirit, and when they are seen as in the prior verses of:
Gal_5:19-21 “works of the flesh” they are: Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies (lit. free-choice), Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like
As nice and happy as it sounds that the fruits of the spirit are retained by the spirit of God, the simplicity of the fact is that all 9 of these fruits are wicked when they are allowed to be uninterpreted, with out God’s Law and thus they will manifest them selves as those acts specifically called works of the flesh will prohibit entrance in to God’s Kingdom, but due to that emotion called: love, joy, peace and faith the one committing those acts feels in their actions, they will not repent or acknowledge their sin, because sin is undefined(1John 3:4= Pentateuch).
Just think about how selfish-emotional justification works in just the first mentioned work of the flesh Adultery(marriage bed, homo, racial, bestial, incest!) :
Don’t some of those who commit Adultery ‘love‘ one another?
Don’t those who commit it ‘love’ it and have joy in their actions?
Aren’t there those who have peace in their Adultery?
Don’t some exhibit ‘longsuffering‘ for one an other ?
Some have a ‘gentle‘ adulterous ‘love’ which makes them feel good, they aren’t pushy about their “life-style” so they are meek and exhibit temperance in their struggle for love! And if these adulterous people think jesus loves them, they will accredit all of this ‘fruit’ to him and his spirit!
How then could it be wrong when it manifests a fruit of the Spirit? love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance?
This is the confusion which comes by lack of faith in the total Word of God.
In this same way the converse substantiation is as well activated, in complete relation to the sentiments spoken of prior in Rom 9:32 Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone… That is that regardless of what work of the Law you execute in your person, when it is done as an empty or vain action or ceremony, it is a dead work having not been justified by Faith because our sin remains and over shadows the effort with it’s curse. Sabbath, Circumcision, Baptism, Passover: regardless of the Law of God we follow when it is not done with the full knowledge that Christ as the Word is the essence of it’s existence, and that with Him by which all things were made (Col_1:16) framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. (Heb_11:3), It is by that same Word of Faith they will appear in us as the Son’s of God. It is by Faith which causes our obedience and works to count and be accounted as Righteousness, with out Faith none of it Matters before the Holiness of Almighty God!
