True Reformation:

The Reforming of the Church according to Scripture

Part 13

Translated into the Kingdom of His Dear Son

Lev 26:14 But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;

Lev 26:15 And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:

Lev 26:16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

Lev 26:17 And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.

Lev 26:18 And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

Lev 26:19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:

Lev 26:20 And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.

Lev 26:21 And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.

Lev 26:22 I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate.

Lev 26:23 And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;

Lev 26:24 Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.

Here we come yet again to the agonizing thought of breaking the covenant and it’s promised response, Why do we commonly think that the New Covenant made in Christ’s very own blood which we are behooved to be under in this age, s the only blood atonement which has efficacy to remit sin, has no consequences for its breaking? Do we truly think that as Christian’s the Mighty God will not rise up and “avenge the quarrel of His Covenant? (Lev_26:25 ) With the lips christians often worship him but in the heart which should contain those New Covenant promises it is rather far from His, in vain they do teach for doctrines the commandments of men, and never turn to the Law of God to be written on the heart as the true source of all apostolic tradition, it is simply the Law of God which defines the Kingdom we press into through sanctification. For those, however, that know the revelation of Christ as the Word of God made flesh we must as well acknowledge that his eternality is broadcast from the foundation of the world causing his effective nature to encompass every blood sacrifice ever spoken by the breath of God for sin’s atonement as done lawfully before God.

Yet now that we are blessed to be in the age we are in, even with all of the evil of this present world, how do we consider this spirit of Grace? We had read in Heb_10:26-30 in consideration of the willfulness of Sin to one who truly has known the truth of Grace and Faith and has strives to walk in the path of Sanctification yet has decidedly become and remains an adversary of the LORD and His Christ by sin, and especially those sins unto death or worthy of death, willfully after he has known the blood of this precious covenant wherewith we are sanctified… The LORD will Judge His people, vengeance is yet His He will repay his adversaries to there face in the Judgment to come, and at times in this life as well. In knowing the blessed state of this covenant we are in by the Grace of Mercy given to us in Christ how can we not give our all to better our place in the kingdom of God, both here and now and in the world to come? If the Kingdom you have seen by being born again, and that you have entered into in the fullness of the water and the spirit which encompasses the Law of that kingdom written on your heart and transforming your mind, causing the kingdom of God to be all your hope and life, the kingdom which you desire and wait upon, which you nurture and hold receiving it as a little child, a kingdom we have faith in so much that it is the will and work done according to His good pleasure that we are committed to, the bring about that kingdom on earth as it is in heaven: then you have started to comprehend the Salvation of Our God and fullness of the Gospel, then the Faith which comes by hearing, and the hearing which only comes by the WORD of God has truly made an impact. A throne has been set in your heart and mind, a kingdom is sought for within you, and as a stranger and pilgrim who has long sought his home, we desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. Heb_11:16 and it is with desire we await that city or politic wherein we are citizens, and until we return or rather it returns to us we must proclaim the King of kings and LORD of lords Jesu(s) whom they have forgotten or forsaken.

This is the Good Tidings of the Kingdom which we are called to proclaim, and the sighted hope which has over come us and by faith is over coming the world, it is the True Reformation of the church, a return to the Rule of YHWH the Father by the rule of Law found in the person of His Son Jesus Christ.

Therefore, if we acknowledge that the King who reigns in our heart as His Covenant people, the culture and customs of that citizenship which we are part of can not differ from the tenants of the New Covenant Christ made in his blood, as a testament which is a promised, offered to the Israel of God that He WILL write the laws of his father upon your inward parts. These laws are seen in the laws of the nation of Israel in the Pentateuch or 5 books of Moses: if we believe the Word of God they were delivered from heaven by the Word Him self to Moses, for the establishment of the Kingdom of God called Israel, this is clearly seen in Exo_19:3-6 And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;

Exo 19:4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.

Exo 19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

Exo 19:6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

The Apostle Peter very clearly establishes this portion of God’s Word as relevant in it’s context to the New Covenant made by Christ to the House of Israel in 1Pe_2:9 by use of the prophecy of Hos_2:23 to show it’s context.

The point is that the laws of this Covenant made with Israel are God’s Law, His holy Law, His Eternal law for the son’s of men which is the pattern of God’s Kingdom Government upon earth. So when we are citizens by inheritance of flesh and spirit the laws of God our Father are our manners and customs, that is a collective culture found in scripture ans able to be placed on our inward parts by YHWH’s sanctifying holy spirit of promise.

Consider a person you may know or your self perhaps of any specific culture: They do certain things according to their culture,

they celebrate according to their culture,

they eat certain ways according to their culture,

the dress certain ways according to their culture,

Marriages are contracted differently or celebrated differently than those of other cultures, those people of those cultures look a certain way, act a certain way and have similar concerns and loves as a collective people.

All of these same cultural concerns for a Citizen of the Kingdom comes from the Law of God, and proceeds from the biblical example, and when True Reformation comes and we turn from our old man, regardless of if we were raised by parents who had a Kingdom Culture or Not, that is Jew (Judean) or Gentile (meaning practicing the law culturally or being alien to it), remember when Paul wrote words in this way Judah or Judea was the place of central worship having the Temple and the knowledge of the Law and Prophets in Jerusalem.) So regardless of our up bringing, there comes a time when We no longer seek our own ways, nor those we are raised in, but an individual child of covenant acknowledges our error and our secret faults and the sovereignty of the God of the Covenant that we personally desire to amend the way we walk on and we begin to conscientiously seek.. first the kingdom of God, and his righteousnessMat 6:33

That before all else this biblical culture of Reformation leads us to hear the voice of the Son of man speaking to us from Mar_8:34-38, young or old, rich or poor, religious or heathen, intelligent or foolish, Christ says: Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Mar 8:35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.

Mar 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Mar 8:37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

(do not miss that if one gains the cosmos and looses his soul it equaled the same sum) And here is the crux of the matter, in understanding our call to the total word of God, both that which is written and that which was made flesh in the man Jesus Christ:

Mar 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

What a horror! That in the coming of the Lord whom we said we knew and believed in that he is ashamed of us! Because we were ashamed of Him and His Word!

Again, this Reformation is not in lip service and speech and preaching with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power which lets the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

It Lets the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

That…whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. (Col_3:15-17)

This is how we are not ashamed at His coming, regardless of you eschatology, by this Word we shall be judges, it is God’s Righteousness and his holiness whereby we are sanctified and sanctification is measured it is, we could say, YHWH’s Holy Culture.

And the Word which spoke all those laws, it was that same spirit that indeed became flesh whose glory was beheld by the disciples and apostles John 1 tells us, that glory was full of Grace and Truth which is definitively Forgiveness and Law in one vessel; the son of God and son of man, the manifestation of the Word in the man Jesus Christ was that of the perfect Law of God offering forgiveness by the same spiritual fountain unto everlasting life. He was slain by wicked hands but by the power of God the Father, the Ancient of Days that Word was raised again in the flesh and stood before His Father and given dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass (away), and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Therefor if we believe by Faith that Jesus is the Son of man, and that he is the word of God made flesh and that Christ’s Kingdom shall not be destroyed or pass away, we believe then that the law of Christ’s Kingdom which is God’s Word and that the Word of God Gave the Law ,even to Moses, we therefore With Christ substantiate that God’s Law and the warnings and foresight of the prophets are that Which shall not pass as an integral part of his Kingdom rule.

let us return to :

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

It is an incomprehensible thought to our mind that it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail. (Luk_16:17 ,) or as ( Mat_24:35) Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Yet, When His Word can frame the ages of the cosmos, his Word can resurrect them again, a World Judged by his Law is what His dominion and Kingdom is, All power in heaven and earth …(Mat_28:18)

Consider that this is the true message of Reformation which YHWH God has always desired for his Covenant people that they might:

Col 1:9 …be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

Col 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Col 1:11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

Col 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

Col 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Col 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Col 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

Col 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

Col 1:21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

Col 1:22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

Col 1:23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven…

This is the power of Christs sovereign authority in his Kingdom which is in the heavens and which must be fully in us by faith, and by that faith we may boldly over come the world to the glory of the Father.

Yet the Law as seen from Genesis 1:1 to Deut 34:12 and proclaimed by ever Prophet and Apostle is very plainly that God’s Law embodies His everlasting righteousness and His Truth, and by it we correct, reform and amend our ways as citizens and heirs of the Kingdom in all areas of life it becomes the culture we live by as Normal, to easily establish our standards of Life for our Good.

We may not like some of things the Word of God teaches us, but that is simply put by the Apostle in Rom 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. Do we truly believe this that in deed the Law is a Spiritual tool? That is that in it’s directives from the Wisdom of the Holy Spirit of Truth it is the Righteous standards of God’s Kingdom where by we are Judged and we Judge our selves? This is not the typical Christian view, yet Paul’s context is so often ignored, hyper-spirtualized or truncated by those of Reformed theology that refuse to acknowldge All of God’s Law as Christ’s Law:

Rom 7:10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.

Rom 7:11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.

Rom 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

Rom 7:13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

(the Law shows the sin in our life by the standard of what Good truly is in comparison to the law)

SO,

Rom 7:14 …we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

Rom 7:15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.

Rom 7:16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent (agree) unto the law that it is good.

Rom 7:17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

Rom 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. ( here is the standard with in us ‘we know that the Law is Good! But do we know what the Law even says that we may consent that it is Good?)

Rom 7:19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.

Rom 7:20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

Rom 7:21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

Rom 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

Rom 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

Rom 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

Rom 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Christ separates us according to our delight and warfare, he causes us to be holy and acceptable though with our flesh we are imperfect, yet we school ourselves in the righteousness of God, trusting that it is Christ which will give us the victory in this combat. That we may say in aclear conscience knowing our mind and inward man truly desires the things of God:

Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Rom 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Rom 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

About JS Lowther

Foremost I know that I am a chief sinner saved by Grace. I am a servant of YHWH Almighty the one true God Who is Father, Son and Spirit. I believe in God's only begotten and perfect Son Jesu(s) Christ whose redemption power of my soul I have Faith in and testify of. Having been redeemed by the blood of Christ, I wish to no longer spend my time in the lusts of the flesh and of this world, but to promote the Gospel of the Kingdom by means of the knowledge of the New Covenant, a reNewal of the Covenant God made with his people Israel in the blood of Christ (Jer 31:31 and Heb 8:8) whereby He writes His Law upon the Heart and Mind beside the forgiveness of sin and transgressions. I believe Christ Jesus is the incarnate Son of God as the WORD made flesh, and the son of man born of the virgin Mary conceived of the Holy Spirit: I believe Christ Jesus Lived a perfect life for us as a living sacrifice as well as a pattern of the Sanctified newness of life a believer has in Him, I believe Christ Jesus died a cursed death on the Cross for His people of Covenant who are sinners, and I believe in Christ Jesus who Resurrected with power from Death from the grave to Justify the offenders. This is the same Jesus who is indeed the Son of David and king of Israel, who is both LORD and Christ over all the kings and dominions of the earth! In the fullness of time YHWH will regather his people under the Head of the Church, Jesu(s) Christ to affect his will according to the Lord's prayer, Psalm 2, 8 and 110 as well as Genesis 1:26. The focus of my administration of the Gospel is like unto my Lord's who said "I have come not but for the lost sheep of the house of Israel.."(Mathew 15:24), and so I have come to my European kinsman according to the flesh. It is my mission to show the Israel of God the Salvation which is taught by Scripture Alone and offered in all ages by Grace Alone through Faith Alone in the work of Christ Alone to the Glory of GOD Alone. As a modern day Puritan separatist it is my goal to purify the church of Christ with Faith heretofore stated. I am studying to show my self approved, if you have any questions just ask!
