Anouncment of the 7th Moonth and of feasts!
So the 7th Month, called a Moonth here at RNCM,
is just around the weekly bend!
This can be a big month of Worship, Fellowship and Learning for the Church.
So we thought we would put a little help sheet together for those of you who may be new to following the Festivals of YHWH which are part of New Covenant Christian Israelite Culture = Church.
Please take a look at our feast and calendar studies here
RNCM Calendar Page (Sabbaths, New Moons, Feasts and Holy Days)
Kicking off with the New Moon Feast: THE DAY of MEMORIAL of TRUMPS on the first day: on this day adults and children alike sing, scream, shout and blow trumpets in celebration of the Memorial of the New Moon Sabbath which we learn from this day of memorial or remembrance. It’s a good time to have a special time of song, prayer and festive meal with family and brethren!
Is the not so fun but Solemn Fast of YoM KiPUR or Atonement / Covering Day: On this day we keep as a Sabbath to the LORD YHWH though it is the 10th day and not part of the weekly cycle, we also Fast together or alone, eating no food and drinking no water to afflict our soul in prayer and remind ourselves of the covering / atonement our Israelite people need because of the breaking of the Covenant YHWH has made with them.
As Christians we recognize that those who have Faith in Christ Jesu(s) our Messiah are covered indeed and saved from wrath to come, but this day of affliction is not for the sins of the Christian covered by Christ our Lord and have been baptized into his death, this fast is about our Nation and Kindred who are lost and in need of a Covering which we as Renewed Christians should be offering them through the preaching of the Gospel!
15th – 22nd Days
Is the Feast of Ingathering / Feast of Tabernacles! On the week prior to this we build our tent / tabernacle / booth being sure to include those biblically mentioned, sleeping in a temporary structure is always fun for the kids and is sure to teach every one the lesson intended, that YHWH Made our Ancestors wander in the wilderness for 40 YEARS! Living in booths. While for some people this week is hard not having the creature comforts of home, there is no reason not to do exactly as YHWH Commands and Rejoice before the LORD in all that you have been blessed with!
We hope and pray you learn to worship YHWH GOD in the sincerity of your heart in the way he has deemed fit, often times even in Messianic circles and Hebrew roots camp (of which we are neither) folks sit around and read about these days and speak of their spiritual meaning, here we observe according to the commandment and feel the spirit move in our actions of worship. If you are looking for fellowship on these upcoming days please feel free to contact us and we’ll see if we can help.
If you like Christmas and Easter just wait until you do something that’s really in the bible!
PEACE AND GRACE
