Pt.9 By Remembering His Words (Leviticus 23:6-8)

JS LOWTHER- RNCM, May 5, 2019
Part of the How Do We Keep the Feasts? series, preached at a SABBATH BIBLE STUDY service

IF we have sown unto you spiritual things,
Is it a great thing if we shall reap from you carnal things? 1Corinthians 9:11

Have you ever considered what the first thing Christ did with his followers after the ressurection?

Luke 24:25-27 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

Christ just rebuked his followeds for being foolish and slow of heart... I'm preatty sure the modern version of this saying is “you guys are retarded”, right? Mentally and emotionally challenged!
And what is it they are retarded concerning? Faith!

Jesus own followers were Retarded to Believe ALL that the Law and Prophets have spoken!

Leviticus 23:6-8

6And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread. 7In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein. 8But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
