Servant,

What’s in your Heart?

In this Tabernacle season which is also called properly the feast of Ingathering in ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field. Exo_23:16

Deu 16:13 Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine:

Deu 16:14 And thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates.

Deu 16:15 Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD shall choose: because the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.

This time is thus a time to celebrate prosperity, and a man who is diligent in the affairs of this life as it pertains work ethic will most likely be blessed, in the time when most men either farmed or had agricultural assets the Law on the feast of Ingathering was practical and understandable to the average farmer: your blessing will be seen by how hard you work by the prosperity by which you have acquired.

I our day of credit and debt this Idea is become distorted, if the modern day Israelite would like to celibate before the LORD he has no need of being blessed, he may rather use his or her credit card, or eve take out a vacation loan and then justify the debt they have incurred contrary to the evident blessing of the law found in:

Deu_15:6 For the LORD thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.

and

Deu_28:12 The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.

This law above should be the aim and goal of every member of the Nation of Israel, that we as a people are the head and not the tail, the lenders not the borrowers.

Oddly enough the ability to borrow, to become prosperous instantly is turned into the exact opposite by the very act of debt…

Our late brother Bruce McCarthy had a book I’d recommend if you can get your hands on it called “Credit is Debt is SLAVERY!”, and that is the Truth of Israel’s position at this time largely due to the fiat money system of debased bills of credit we call dollar bills or federal reserve notes, yet more so than all the worthless rags of paper we use and CARY AROUND IN OUR WALLET OR ELECTRIC TRANSFERS it is our greed, envy and covetous of false wealth that is the problem with our situation at this present time.

1Co_7:21 Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather.

1Co 7:22 For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord’s freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ’s servant.

1Co 7:23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.

1Co 7:24 Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.

The excuse that we are in some form of bondage in this country is more so an excuse Christians often think they might use to blame the debt holder rather than the debtee, them selves.

Consider this both natural and spiritual warning given by the wise King Solomon:

Pro_22:29 Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.

The first portion of this admonition is not aimed at the sloth, the sluggard but the diligent, the hard worker…

Pro_23:1 When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee:

Pro 23:2 And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite.

Pro_23:3 Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat.

The analogy is that of sitting with a man of power, a king who is ruler, and he knows you are diligent, Solomon advises to put the knife of dinner to your own throat rather than to the second slice of meat, a dainty that will show that while you are diligent at your business you are still in want of more, the deceit is not referencing the deceit of the ruler but the deceit is referencing the false hood of the situation as the Hebrew word KeZeB indicates false hood, or lies.

the LXX translates the Scripture thus:

Pro 23:3 desire not his provisions; for these belong to a false life.

The following admonition attests to this:

Pro_23:4 Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.

Pro 23:5 Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.

LXX

Pro 23:4 If thou art poor, measure not thyself with a rich man; but refrain thyself in thy wisdom.

Pro 23:5 If thou shouldest fix thine eye upon him, he will disappear; for wings like an eagle’s are prepared for him, and he returns to the house of his master.

Thus by considering both the Hebrew KJV beside the Greek Septuagint we can safely surmise the mind of the fellow Solomon teaches us of, a man who measures himself by the rule of the rich rulers, the debt holder who if he sees your desire upon his fare he will know by which way he may gain mastery over you….

Pro_23:6 Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats:

Pro 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:

Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

Pro 23:8 The morsel which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up, and lose thy sweet words.

Like the Eagle upon it’s wings returned to it’s master by verse 5 so will the meat of him who you desired it by the false life measured against the king, the ruler, the one whom you have made the debt holder, to that man your vomit is His!…

and Solomon ends with the final thought on this mater given to those who are like me, standing in a position where this analogy is being explained to others:

Pro 23:9 Speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words.

Yet the answer to if we are willing to take heed to this allegory or not is up to us, of what type of person our actions in this life will point us to be fool or wise?

In the final thought on the admonitions of our lord towards us: consider this same Idea only in the spiritual sense in the sense where the Apostle Paul tells us1Co_12:31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

The gift spoken of in in the continuation of Chapter 13 is Charity or Love:

1Co_13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

1Co 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

1Co 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

1Co 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

1Co 13:8 Charity never faileth:

While the admonition of wise king Solomon is to not measure your self against the wealth of a ruler or king and his wealth, wherewith he will notice your covetousness or desire, and he will bring you to a state debt and servitude and He will own your vomit,

On this wise when speaking of that which we as followers of Christ and Children of Israel are to covet after desire after, we a glad that that king whom we sit before if we are diligent in our business owns our very soul, and Him taking notice of the love and charity contained in the Commandments of God, we may gladly want him to own all that we have.

For by Charity or love we we show our Covetousness of the good gifts of God, Loving YHWH with all of our Heart mind and soul and Loving our neighbor as our selves!

Can any wish for the Lord King to envy all that we have to this end?

In this way the King and Ruler of the analogy fits neatly with the praise and exaltation of:

1Co 7:23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men!

In reconciliation of these thoughts I have set be fore you wise men to consider:

.1.  As the feast of Ingathering Tabernacles is a celebration of the blessings of prosperity YHWH has given us, when we are in debt to the principalities and powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world in any way, we are not capable of rejoicing in the way we ought be for the LORD God.

2. That as men and women who are diligent about our business, we will possibly in God wills it set us before these rulers, who we should not measure our selves against or desire the goods which they have, for the intent is our bondage

3. as Christian we are to be Christ’s servants and covet earnestly the charity and Love which issues from God whereby we will assure ourselves that YHWH desires our life and to own it as well as all that we have

4. And finally that a culmination of these things in understanding we may rejoice before the LORD with perhaps not as much as the world has at this present time, but so much more at the feast in this life as well as that which is in the Kingdom to come.

About JS Lowther

Foremost I know that I am a chief sinner saved by Grace. I am a servant of YHWH Almighty the one true God Who is Father, Son and Spirit. I believe in God's only begotten and perfect Son Jesu(s) Christ whose redemption power of my soul I have Faith in and testify of. Having been redeemed by the blood of Christ, I wish to no longer spend my time in the lusts of the flesh and of this world, but to promote the Gospel of the Kingdom by means of the knowledge of the New Covenant, a reNewal of the Covenant God made with his people Israel in the blood of Christ (Jer 31:31 and Heb 8:8) whereby He writes His Law upon the Heart and Mind beside the forgiveness of sin and transgressions. I believe Christ Jesus is the incarnate Son of God as the WORD made flesh, and the son of man born of the virgin Mary conceived of the Holy Spirit: I believe Christ Jesus Lived a perfect life for us as a living sacrifice as well as a pattern of the Sanctified newness of life a believer has in Him, I believe Christ Jesus died a cursed death on the Cross for His people of Covenant who are sinners, and I believe in Christ Jesus who Resurrected with power from Death from the grave to Justify the offenders. This is the same Jesus who is indeed the Son of David and king of Israel, who is both LORD and Christ over all the kings and dominions of the earth! In the fullness of time YHWH will regather his people under the Head of the Church, Jesu(s) Christ to affect his will according to the Lord's prayer, Psalm 2, 8 and 110 as well as Genesis 1:26. The focus of my administration of the Gospel is like unto my Lord's who said "I have come not but for the lost sheep of the house of Israel.."(Mathew 15:24), and so I have come to my European kinsman according to the flesh. It is my mission to show the Israel of God the Salvation which is taught by Scripture Alone and offered in all ages by Grace Alone through Faith Alone in the work of Christ Alone to the Glory of GOD Alone. As a modern day Puritan separatist it is my goal to purify the church of Christ with Faith heretofore stated. I am studying to show my self approved, if you have any questions just ask!
