Pt. 2

John The Angel

The Messenger of the Covenant

 

Notice the way in which the Gospel of the kingdom evangelized:

Mar_1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

This statement has within it’s construct some crucial evidence in finding the meaning of the statement it self.

  • The time is fulfilled

  • The kingdom of God is at hand

  • Repent and Believe (Faith or Trust) in the Gospel

    (Due to the nature of the points Repentance shall lead, followed by The Kingdom which is at hand.)

This is the scope of our Study in this series: to understand as best we can these 3 aspects of Christ’s ministry which we know as well from the biblical testimony that John was preaching this same Kingdom and Gospel message of Repentance:

Mat_3:1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judah,

Mat 3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

and Matthew’s record as well tells us that Christ used the same language as John:

Mat_4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

This message of the Kingdom come was directed in ministry towards the same people the entirety of Scripture is written to:

Mat_10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

Mat 10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Mat 10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

The constructed order of Mar_1:15 sets the fulfillment of this Kingdom of God accompanied by repentance and the Gospel: briefly, it is of necessity to allow for the Greek words which are translated ‘Repent’ and ‘Gospel’ as to assure the collective evidence needed for establishing a definition. As the LXX is as well written in Greek it is a great translation of the Hebrew Scriptures to ascertain this evidence. As well there are some simple definitions as told by James Strong (one of the most used Lexicographers to date on Biblical Greek and Hebrew, and his works are greatly apprised by the Bible reading community as, it is upon much of his efforts to give the common English speaker a way to see beyond the English version, it is upon his efforts that a foundation was laid for many other tools we now have nearly 200 years later! And frankly it bothers me to hear many lesser men of biblical language to belittle Strong’s efforts as to elevate there own inferior work, when honestly one compares. I and others may disagree with a point of language derivation as sited by Strong, or as I often do go beyond the definition of the root word Strong’s gives on to the words composition, yet one should honestly acknowledge such a man’s efforts.)

When we consider the great number of references and direct sightings of this announcement of the Kingdom by John the baptist, Christ, and the apostles, we see foremost a call to repentance.

The Announcement of the Kingdom’s coming was a call to repentance.

Strong’s puts it: to think differently or afterwards, that is, reconsider (morally to feel compunction): – repent.

Some translations have this compound word translated ‘changing mind’, which conveys the same point as repentance in the liter English construction, yet it is the accompaniment of the mind changer that the statement gains it’s direction. In Mark it was ‘Repent and Believe the Gospel ‘, in Matthew it was ‘repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand’, the direction in which this sets the tone of repentance is based upon the affect this faith in the Gospel of the Kingdom has on ones mind, how it changes it. In other words, what ever was expected or known from the Scriptures, which was convayed by the Holy Spirit through the Law and Prophets in the written word of God, prior to the coming of John and Christ, is what was being preached in the statement ‘the kingdom of God (or Heaven) is at hand’, the beliefe, faith or trust which Christ and John were calling the people to was a fore spoken of and this message was now being preached that it was at hand or within reach, or able to be handled due to it’s nearness, the statement ‘at hand’ references the nearness of the kingdom, as to be close enough to handle it, know it or feel it . The call was to have an impact upon the mind of the people to know they had the kingdom near to them at this good-announcement known to us by the Saxon phrase Gospel.

Most Bible readers know that the Gospel is ‘the good news’ or ‘good tidings’, as a literal understanding of it’s meaning, yet it is of importance before moving on to consider some logic and language on this word ‘Gospel’ and it’s Greek original eu-anggelion.

Some logic:

Every Gospel is in need of a good- spealer or in Greek, every eu-anggelion is in need of a good angel, in moder English we now pronounce this word: evangel, yet it is Identical in meaning as the word Gospel. The later portion of the word is none other than angel which literally means in Greek ‘a messenger’, which may be a human messenger sent from YHWH or perhaps one from heaven.

The English Germanic word Gospel, derives it’s origin from the original Saxon form “Go(o)d-Spell” which is a literal translation of the Greek and or Hebrew compound word, consider one of the most early “English” translations of the story of Christ, the translation of the

“West Saxon Gospels” of 1175:

Mar_1:1 Her ys godspelles angin hælendes cristes godes sune.

Literaly. Here is the Good-spell again (archaic. beginning, from the top) of the Healer Christ god’s son.

(“Jesu” literally means Savior or Healer)

This is how the majority of the world has started to use the archaic Saxon word for “Eu-aggel”, we now pronounce ‘Evangel’ as the word is easily seen by the mindful English speller: Go-Spel which is a compound word for God – Spel or Good- Spell: as the meaning of the Greek “Eu” is “Good” turned to the shortened form of “God”, and then contracted to “go”. As for the Archaic “spel” which is modernly “spell”, yet it’s more rooted definition is defined by

Noah Webster in 1828 is

Spell

SPELL, n. [The verb primarily signifies to throw or drive, and is probably formed on the root of L. pello. In some of the application of spell, we observe the sense of turn. We observe the same in throw, warp, cant, &c.]

1. A story; a tale.

So the “Go-spel” is simply the archaic Saxon words “Go(o)d-spell”

The Beginning of the Gospel

So in the Scriptures of Israel written in Greek we are looking for the time being fulfilled that will indicate the above aspects of this kingdom by repentance, faith and Good-message.

As sited above and in context with both messages of John and Christ, this Good-Message was accompanied by repentance or a mind change. As well prior in Mark as sited above to show the archaic use of the word Gospel we have Mark’s announcement

Tyndale 1526:

Mar_1:1 The beginning of the Gospell of Jesu Christ the son of God,

Mar_1:2 as it is written in the prophets, behold I send my messenger (angel) before thy face which shall prepare thy way before thee.

Mar_1:3 The voice of one that crieth in the wilderness: prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight (Eu-theias: lit. good-placment).

Mar_1:4 John did baptise in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance, for the remission of sins. (Trans. Tyndale 1526)

Notice how that the messenger or angel, John the Baptist, is the one crying in the wilderness and calling for the paths to be made ‘straight’ or Eu-theias, it is within this Greek word that we find the first portion of the Eu-angel, that is Eu or good, the good or well placed path or straight path, thus when we consider this from the Greek perspective, the Gospel or Evangelion is the message of the straight path, this was John’s contribution to the Gospel.

Since in this very place we are told this is the beginning of Christ’s Gospel and it is ad-fixed with Mark’s own understanding of this message he pulls from the prophets to validate his claim: Seemingly by compare the Prophet quoted is

Mal_3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me (Heb. and Gk: literally says ‘before my face’ L-PaN-Y / לפני) : and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.

Mal 3:2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:

Mal 3:3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

Mal 3:4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

Mal 3:5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger , and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

Mal_3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

This ending sounds strikingly familiar in sentiment to Heb_13:8

The LAW

and

The Messenger,

and

The WAY

Before moving to the next prophet it is advantagous to also consider the siting from the Law and it’s context which Malachi is quoting:

Exo_23:20 Behold, I send an Angel (Messenger, in the Hebrew the word is MLAK) before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

Exo 23:21 Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.

Exo 23:22 But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.

Exo 23:23 For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.

Exo 23:24 Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.

Exo 23:25 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

Exo 23:26 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

Exo 23:27 I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.

This particular aspect of this siting in reference is to John, he was the messenger, the angel, the MLAK, whom the people were to fear and obey. It is easy to find ones self applying the statement to Christ, yet it is very directly referencing John. As Christ is the way.

Joh_14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Joh 14:7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

 

MLAK references a kingdom role, in the Hebrew, the exact same Hebrew word is used regularly to describe a king, it is not insignificant that this Gospel we are are focusing on is the Good-Message of the Kingdom, and the Hebrew word used here for messenger is as well the word for king.

 

 

The Vulgate’s Latin text of the prior , which is a translation of earlier manuscripts in 405ad by Jerome forwards truly the quote of the Prophet Isaiah as well as in both mark and Matthew’s reference to the Preaching of John’s Gospel.

Joh_1:23 He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.

Isa 40:1 Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.

Isa 40:2 Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD’S hand double for all her sins.

Notice just before getting to the quote John uses, the context is of Jerusalem’s return from warfare, her iniquity is pardoned, her punishment time is accomplished, this is called to attention on account of the situation of

The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand…Mar_1:15

Isa_40:3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Isa 40:4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

Isa 40:5 And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

Isa 40:6 The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:

Isa 40:7 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.

Isa 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

So we see the mountains being brought low, the valleys being raised, thus a leveling is having by the evangelism of John, repetance shown and confessed in Baptism is enacted in preparation for the coming Kingdom which is at hand, the reminder of the meaning of the message is the illustration given by Isaiah of grass which flourishes and fades and dies away, yet the eternal aspect of this Gospel, this good message, these good tidings cried upon the mountains is: ‘All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:..The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. ‘

Echoed in the preaching of John to the same function of the Holy Spirit:

Mat_3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit, and fire:

Mat 3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

Then we hear:

Isa_40:9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings (Ev-angelizing: Gospel), get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings (Gospel), lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah,

Notice to Zion, notice the evangelism going forward, the Gospel, the good-message:

Behold your God! Isa_40:10 Behold, the Lord YHWH will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

Isa 40:11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

That is the faith of the’Good-Message’ it is the ‘straight path’, He is the ‘Way the Truth and the Life ‘ found in the coming Shepard and King of Zion who rules by YHWH’s arm!

So here is my question in ending this 2nd part of this Message,

  • Is this the Gospel you understand in the preaching of John and of Christ?
  • Is it a call to repentance by the word of our God that stands for ever?

that is a mind change or a repentance on account of the Kingdom which is at hand?

  • Is it a Gospel, a good message that the wicked will wither away by the Spirit of God?
  • That those who walk by faith in these GOOD tidings, Evangelion of the Way the Truth and the Life of Christ which we come to the Father?

This is a call to repentance, to walk in the way of God’s WORD, to walk in the Truth, of God’s WORD and to walk in the Life of God’s word in order to get to the promised land which Christ leads us to. Repentance leads us to John’s Baptism, John has lead us to Christ, Christ’s Way leads us to the Father…and there is no other way to achieve the Kingdom, to enter into it but by Him.

Please do not misunderstand, this is not speaking of Faith with out works, I am speaking of obedience to the voice of the Word of God Breather by his Spirit for us to walk in to show our sanctification by the message we have received:

Mat 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Mat 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

And to the point first point of Mar_1:15 the time of fulfillment, we shall explore in the next message, as well as how the wicked seek to take the kingdom by force…

Thou Shalt Not Steal

Exodus 20:15 / Deuteronomy 5:19

The Hebrew word for theft is a word many people already know, as similar slang is used in American-English for the same action: GNaB or nab, perhaps a help in remembering the word?

The universal Idea of stealing or theft as a wrong among cultures and laws of diverse peoples as well as creatures is absolute, that is the Idea of one or many taking from another or others what is not theirs is a wrong; yet it may come as stumble to those who wish primary laws of morality held as Christian to be universally understood to all peoples that theft or stealing is not the same for every culture, while most peoples have a general idea of what is theft, what is so for one culture is not to another. This is the case even among cultures which are genetically identical, yet generationally separated by time. This is the case in today’s so called christian culture opposed to the christianity of our separateist ancestors in America, and those to their Israelite ancestors of Moses to Nehemiah’s day.

When Citizenship is spoken of with in the Common-Wealth their are 2 particular words which God Law uses over and over again, that is Brother and Neighbor as well the 3 biblical words the English Bible calls ‘Stranger’ are all brought into focus when we speak on this matter, and it is indissoluble inherited rights which make other peoples strangers to the common-wealth, and as such strangers are excluded from some protections afforded to the brothers of the citizenship of Israel, which are sin when commited one upon each other. As the philosophy of the Idea mentioned that most every people of the world have a custom against theft, it is just a mater of what theft is to that people; at Law, even in modern law, this aspect of persons is what divides stealing from authorized behavior (either authorized by law or by the peoples conplacency, it makes no difference, both set the standard of the people’s constitution at that given time).

For instance, as was spoken of in the prior message on the 7th Commandment as well as touched on in the 5th Commandment message in this compilation is the God ordained concept of Land possession, which in the Common-Wealth of Israel was YHWH owned, He is the land LORD and He has delegated stewardship or governance, dominion by tribal family possession:

Lev_25:23 The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is Mine;for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.

Lev 25:24 And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land.

Lev 25:25 If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath sold away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold.

Lev 25:26 And if the man have none to redeem it, and himself be able to redeem it;

Lev 25:27 Then let him count the years of the sale thereof, and restore the overplus unto the man to whom he sold it; that he may return unto his possession.

Lev 25:28 But if he be not able to restore it to him, then that which is sold shall remain in the hand of him that hath bought it until the year of jubile: and in the jubile it shall go out, and he shall return unto his possession.

Lev_25:34 But the field of the suburbs of their cities may not be sold; for it is their perpetual possession.

Yet in our modern day the concept of Land is not possession in YHWH’s stead it is ‘private’ ownership, which in God’s vacancy through his ordained Law is more like Rent; for consider the modern culture and cultures of European descent: With out some form of payment required, the ruling principality and powers of government will come to your home, land or business and remove you and your family from it, and you will have no right that any court will recognize which will grant you possession with out payment of what that principality determines to be ‘due’.

In a society based upon God’s Law where land ownership is Almighty God’s and it is possessed as an inheritance by the Ethnic-nation of Israel, only a citizen of the Common-Wealth may claim his own ancestral land indefinitely that is perpetually with no intervention, by any ruler or any other person, none save the eviction by the Land LORD via war and dispossession, all other forms of a brother citizen or Israel being removed from his possession is theft. At such points when citizens of Israel are being removed, a clear line is drawn that a dyer need to repent before Almighty God is at hand, and a God ordained opposition to tyranny is of necessity.

So the culture most Europeans live under today would be tyrannical to their father’s who lived in the days of king Saul or perhaps Ahab, it is a matter of culture.

So it is, when speaking of stealing or theft in God’s Common Law it is defined by statute, YHWH, God of Israel is the determiner according to His Law of what theft is and is not, and as well what situations will determine the particular punishment to be executed by the Elders: Judges and Officers, the crime is to be judged according to Justice by the ordained diligent inquisition, and then as the well known Biblical Maxim teach:

Deu 19:21 And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

Restitution

When contemplating Biblical stealing with in the Common-Wealth of Israel as Governed by the Common Law of the 8th Commandment, the understanding of Judgment for particular crimes being diverse one from the other becomes obvious as the Commandment’s violation is dealt with differently based upon the nature and object of the theft, as well as the circumstances surrounding it, yet one pervading absolution is consistent in judgment for this sin-crime between brother and brothers, neighbors and neighbors as well as Citizen and stranger, this is the idea of Restitution.

The term Restitution is in our legal language even today, Noah Webster defined it thus:

Restitution is made by restoring a specific thing taken away or lost.

2. The act of making good, or of giving an equivalent for any loss, damage or injury…

When we speak of restoring in the KJV we speak to the same point, as well.

In all cases Restitution is the final “act of making good”, and the determiner of what good is, is GOD.

Just Weights and Measures:

A Common Standard of Value

By the demand for Just Restitution the essentiality of equivalent value must arise, that is the equal value of a thing payed in money, yet only when allowed by the damaged party instead of the actual lose by similar representation, such as beast for beast, thus an estimation of value must at times be set as to it’s equivalent with in the common-wealth in the event settlement of Restitution may be had by an acceptable medium of exchange, and that set by God’s Sanctuary.

Beyond the days of Abraham Adam’s people have been using precious metals as this medium of exchange.

Gen 13:2 And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.

Both precious and common metal weighed as Shekels (ShQuL), a Shekel is simply a determined weight current at a given instance or time, or as currency among a Common-Wealth; in the case of Israel’s “The Sanctuary’ is to assay the shekel or weight that is currency:

Lev_27:25 :

And all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.

This shekel was assayed in 3 precious metals, which until the 1900’s did not change in European societies.

Exo_25:3 And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass,

(copper: biblically known as Brass, not to be confused with the modern alloy of zinc and copper)

Bibically speaking the word for current money and Silver are one and the same, KeCeF. Silver was the common money of the common people, not withstanding the more valuable gold and less valuable copper coinage.

Thus the Law of God dictates from the commoner to the priest such law:

Lev_19:35 Ye shall not act unrighteously in judgment, in measures and weights and scales.

Lev 19:36 There shall be among you just balances and just weights and just liquid measure. I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.

Lev 19:37 Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the LORD.

AND

Deu_25:13 Thou shalt not have in thy bag divers weights, a great and a small.

Deu 25:14 Thou shalt not have in thine house divers measures, a great and a small.

Deu 25:15 Thou shalt have a true and just weight, and a true and just measure, that thou mayest live long upon the land which the Lord thy God gives thee for an inheritance.

Deu 25:16 For every one that does this is an abomination to the Lord thy God, even every one that does injustice.

When the word ‘weight’ is used in Lev_19:35 it is translated from the Hebrew word M-ShQuL, and is specifically dealing with the aspect of Currency or Money, that is the medium of exchange with in the Common-Wealth of Israel.

In Speaking of money we speak of silver as the average standard of currency between men of that citizenship.

It is that in order for any commerce beside simple trade a valuation and estimation is of necessity to be had in any society which will govern upon Law, as to allow for brothers to stranger to deal Justly one with the other, as to determine fair dealings from stealing and theft. While any honest agreement for any thing, either in buying or selling or in the case of restitution, their is an estimation of value in a monetary sense as to aid Justice between in commerce or controversy.

Exo 21:18 And if men strive together, and one smite another with a stone, or with his fist, and he die not, but keepeth his bed:

Exo_21:19 If he rise again, and walk abroad upon his staff, then shall he that smote him be quit: only he shall pay for the loss of his time, and shall cause him to be thoroughly healed.

As well

Exo 21:28 If an ox gore a man or a woman, that they die: then the ox shall be surely stoned, and his flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner of the ox shall be quit.

Exo 21:29 But if the ox were wont to push with his horn in time past, and it hath been testified to his owner, and he hath not kept him in, but that he hath killed a man or a woman; the ox shall be stoned, and his owner also shall be put to death.

Exo 21:30 If there be laid on him a sum of money, then he shall give for the ransom of his life whatsoever is laid upon him.

Exo 21:31 Whether he have gored a son, or have gored a daughter, according to this judgment shall it be done unto him.

 

Within the Common-Wealth of Israel the simple and intrinsic Common law of God couples Just measures and weights and scales by a monetary system using the ordained hard currency of Gold, Silver and Copper according to the precept of it’s Common purity, estimated and assayed by the Sanctuary, that is the same God ordained authority that over sees Judgment with in the Common-Wealth according to: Deu_17:9, Deu_19:17, they are the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days.

Therefore, by debasing the monetary system of the Common-Wealth with injustice or counterfeit coinage, as to adulter it’s purity commanded by precept, or to to attempt to replace hard money, by any person of any rank, is a debasement of the effectiveness of the justice of the Common-Law, and a robbery upon the Nation as a whole: such monetary debasement over turns the 1st commandment, as well, it is both an undercover attempt to man-steal the citizens of the Common-Wealth, along with a way to steal property and possessions of the Nation.

By the severity of the impact of debasing a hard and lawful money system is so severe that the use of any man made or fiat means, such as our modern use of Paper and or Electronic Bank transfers of contrived credits called money, would create a ‘monetary’ like system that would be controlled by the creators of the system, which would in effect control the holders and users of the contrived wealth. And thus the proverb which we are taught (1Ti_6:10) that the love of money is the root of all evil allows those who love to creator money to create all evil, as well as to get away with all evil with it; thus a government or banking system such as had today may easily escape the recourse of actual restitution even though that system may compensate an injured party, yet they do so with nothing, except for a currency they created out of thin air.

To allow the monetary system of a people to be controlled by a non-substance, such as paper and or electronic transfers, inevitably sets that society up for control by the selfish will of it’s creator…which is not YHWH God Almighty.

Deu_24:7 If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away from among you.

Within the Common-Wealth of Israel among the most heinous thefts a Citizen or Brother may commit is that of man-stealing.

Yet consider our modern day standard: In the matter of an arrest and detainment of an adult person, in some events the men or women are imprisoned and their freedom taken, in biblical language is man-stealing when the time In such Ward is not being used to determine the detained’s fate as to life or death.

“In-Ward”

Biblically, the status called “In-Ward” (Gen_40:3; Gen_40:7; Gen_41:10; Lev_24:12; Num_15:34) is the only time a Brother may be detained by Law, and it’s sole use it to determine life or death, with out such a status, especially when any form of price is attached to the persons release, it is Man-Stealing; the lawful examples found in Lev_24:12; (In one cercumstance we have a 1st generation Egyptian man born to an Israelite woman who blasphemed the Name of YHWH by cursing, by Deuteronomy 23:7-8 this man was not an Israelite nore would his child be for 2 more generations, thus In-Ward is used for the Stranger that is not of thy people), and in Num_15:34 (In-Ward is used upon a Citizen who broke the Sabbath wilfully, and was ass well put to daeth.)

Due to the prior understanding laid out from the prior commandments (found in this series) particularly that of the 5th Commandment pertaining to Parents, the absolute authority and ownership of children within the Common-Wealth resides in those children’s life givers, the contained in the generative Parents and lead in Headship by the Fathers. Thus, when another of any rank comes from the out side of this Righteous Paternal Headship and takes away another’s child with out absolute and evident consent of the Head holder, which may be had in hired or indentured servitude of ones Own Child, this act of taking a child with out consent, however, we now call Kid-Napping, but in Reality and according to YHWH God’s Law it is Man-Stealing as well.

In the case of this particular theft two words from the Greek and Hebrew must be reconciled and the then the aspects of verse 3 as well need applied in context.

במחתרת / B-Me-HeThR-Th literally saying: double prefix B-in & M-from or of. together meaning With-in or by it: in the act of +HeThR: Digging, Braking, Rowing: the Idea of Uncovering (see Jer_2:34) + Th: shalt be, they are (femanin construct) = English: they are uncovered (discovered) within. Leaving us with the plain Idea of what we call breaking and entering, tresspassing, or burglary, (while not being limited to night time activity) Yet night activity would automatically constitute undercover actions.

In the Greek LXX the word διορυγματι / Dio-Rugmati is used.

The word Dio or Dia G1223 ..In composition it retains the same general import: – after, always, among, at, to avoid, because of (that), briefly, by, for (cause) . . . fore, from, in, by occasion of, of, by reason of, for sake, that, thereby, therefore, X though, through (-out), to, wherefore, with (-in).

And Rugmati which may be seen in Titus 1:3 used with the prefix of κή / KeH

Rugus may indicate the English: to make a ‘Ruckus’

Thus in a compound understanding the same Idea is conveyed, that is in the discovery or uncovering of one, in this case the Greek speaks to the aspect of alarm. ‘they be within ruckus’.

It is by such an understanding that the understanding is offered that when the worst form of thief is found in the act of theft with in ones possession, and that thief is harmed or killed there is no case for recourse for that thief, or for charges of murder against the defender of his possession for such an action against a thief, day or night who he is caught in the act. Yet, according to verse 3

Exo_22:3 If the sun be risen upon him, blood for him; he should make full restitution; if he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.

In this aspect of the verse it seem to indicate liability to the protector of his stuff and the restitution owed by the thief. The mention of the sun, is not to differentiate between day and night but indicate the length of time that had passed from the smiting and incident, therefore, consider this compound understanding ” If a thief is uncovered and he be smitten and die no one should bleed for the killing of the thief. But if the smitten thief live until another morning and be then killed by the own it is murder as the thief has been subdued, rather the caught thief is to pay restitution after the following morning by servitude, by the evaluation according 4 or 5 times the original theft or in equal value, as per verse 1 or by no less than 2 times according to Exo_22:4 And if the thing stolen be left and be in his hand alive, whether ox or sheep, he shall restore them two-fold.

Thus within the Common-Wealth of Israel, Governed by YHWH God’s Common Law, man committing undercover theft upon anther’s possessions would be non-existent and those with such tenancies would be swiftly culled from the flock or taught by the Justice of Restitution.

Before leaving off from the Idea of theft punished by Capital, the Justice of Almighty God speaks to the easily comprehensible maxims of His Perfect Law, as to deal with those thefts which would be interposed upon another and lead to the eventual or immediate death of the victim:

And so such Laws as well stand as the standard of Justice such as:

Exo_22:26-27 If thou at all take thy neighbour’s raiment to pledge, thou shalt deliver it unto him by that the sun goeth down: For that is his covering only, it is his raiment for his skin: wherein shall he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear; for I am gracious.

Deu 24:6 No man shall take the nether or the upper millstone to pledge: for he taketh a man’s life to pledge.

Setting the example of the 2nd Protos Commandment operating upon Charitable Love:

Lev_19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

Evasion of Compensation and Liability is Stealing

Exo 22:5 And if any one should feed down a field or a vineyard, and should send in his beast to feed down another field, he shall make compensation of his own field according to his produce; and if he shall have fed down the whole field, he shall pay for compensation the best of his own field and the best of his vineyard.

Exo 22:6 And if fire have gone forth and caught thorns, and should also set on fire threshing-floors or ears of corn or a field, he that kindled the fire shall make compensation.

Exo 22:7 And if any one give to his neighbour money or goods to keep, and they be stolen out of the man’s house, if the thief be found he shall repay double.

Exo 22:8 But if the thief be not found, the master of the house shall come forward before God, and shall swear that surely he has not wrought wickedly in regard of any part of his neighbour’s deposit,

Exo 22:9 according to every injury alleged, both concerning a calf, and an ass, and a sheep, and a garment, and every alleged loss, whatsoever in fact it may be, –the judgment of both shall proceed before God, and he that is convicted by God shall repay to his neighbour double.

Exo 22:10 And if any one give to his neighbour to keep a calf or sheep or any beast, and it be wounded or die or be taken, and no one know,

Exo 22:11 an oath of God shall be between both, each swearing that he has surely not at all been guilty in the matter of his neighbour’s deposit; and so his master shall hold him guiltless, and he shall not make compensation.

Exo 22:12 And if it be stolen from him, he shall make compensation to the owner.

Exo 22:13 And if it be seized of beasts, he shall bring him to witness the prey, and he shall not make compensation.

Exo 22:14 And if any one borrow ought of his neighbour, and it be wounded or die or be carried away, and the owner of it be not with it, he shall make compensation.

Exo 22:15 But if the owner be with it, he shall not make compensation: but if it be a hired thing, there shall be a compensation to him instead of his hire.

Stealing Chastity

Exo 22:16 And if any one deceive a virgin that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her for a wife to himself.

Exo 22:17 And if her father positively refuse, and will not consent to give her to him for a wife, he shall pay compensation to her father according to the amount of the dowry of virgins.

Stealing by Usury

And if thou shouldest lend money to thy poor brother who is by thee,

Thou shalt not be hard upon him thou shalt not exact usury of him.

Exo_22:25

The word Usury is not a word used nowadays nearly as much as in the past, this most likely due to modern societies’ desire toward exacting usury as well as having it exacted upon them as to satiate all wants beyond need.

When one speaks of usury, we speak of the Idea of gain upon the principal or original sum payed by the debtor for Using another’s wealth. Today we call this Interest. Some in our modern day who would wish usury to only be what they have termed “excesive interest” oppose the strictness by which Nehemiah believed God to have demanded in His Common Law for Israel when he rebuked the nobles and ruler for exacting 1/100th % and to prove it’s understanding as no meaning less than 1 % the nobles and rulers response to the rebuke was, “We will restore them, and will require nothing of them…” (Neh_5:11-12)

No matter what the substance loaned is:

Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:

Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it. Deu 23:19-20

True Brotherly Love

When two citizens, yea brothers, are dealing with one and other, as to be in benefit for the Common- Wealth, that is to be Patriotic in the patriarchal sense, ones own people His Brethren are preferred as to establish the Kingdom by love and charity. The true citizen od the Common-Wealth of Israel is in fact brothers by flesh and bone and common parentage to his fellow citizen, it is by such a division between brothers, as to rule over one another with rigor (Lev_25:43) with in the lose of sight of the fear of God we divide our nation, it is as well by Not dividing our selves from all other peoples who are not our brothers, that the universal destruction of all peoples shall creep in as a thief, allowing the stranger to spoil the Common-Wealth which he is forbidden from entering.

Lev_25:35 And if thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger (GuR), or a sojourner (resident alien); that he may live with thee.

Lev 25:36 Take thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee.

Lev 25:37 Thou shalt not give him thy money upon usury, nor lend him thy victuals for increase.

Lev 25:39 And if thy brother that dwelleth by thee be waxen poor, and be sold unto thee; thou shalt not compel him to serve as a bondservant:

Lev 25:40 But as an hired servant, and as a sojourner, he shall be with thee, and shall serve thee unto the year of jubile:

Lev 25:41 And then shall he depart from thee, both he and his children with him, and shall return unto his own family, and unto the possession of his fathers shall he return.

Lev 25:42 For they are my servants, which I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: they shall not be sold as bondmen.

For an example of the intertwining relationship theft has with usury, and usury against Ethnic homogeneity and the well being of a Nation, the context of Love for God and neighbor according to the Protos commandments of God’s Law found, Neh 5:1-19 is a strongly recommended study.

Stealing, Theft, Robbery and Usury no mater of what it is, or of what the statute evaluates it’s Restitution at is a destructive force when allowed in a society, especially a Biblical Society. Its violation as stated prior in prior messages strikes at the very heart of God’s Kingdom, which in fact strikes at the New Covenant. Though theft may be among the least crimes to be committed in society, it is among the most severe Sins to be allowed to go unpunished.

Thou shalt Not Kill

Exodus 20:13 / Deuteronomy 5:17

Among the simplest laws seemingly to understand is this 6th Commandment of the Common Law of God and of the most essential tenants of the Common-Wealth of Israel, is the simplicity of “Thou shalt Not Kill”.

Translations from the LXX Septuagint have it written “You shall not murder.”

The Idea of Killing an innocent person either of ones own nation or of another nation or people during a time of peace is among the most primary laws which govern society, yet it as all other Commandments ordained by Almighty God is integral in the fabric of the table of the whole of the 10 commandments. It is by this law all capitol offenses are weighed, those offenses towards God and neighbor which demand the blood of the offender is the highest price a sinner may pay in society, thus it is the chief, head or Capitol of the punishments of He That Is God: YHWH. It is by this Exception to this law had in Judgment against sin, that all rights become forfeited to one’s life as to allow the ordained Government to enact what is called the capitol punishment, and this when willful disregard summarized as wickedness is committed in place of the prior 5 commandments, this very 6th Commandment as well as those to be discussed hereafter this compilation.

The scripture below is here inserted into this compilation, at the forefront, as it is an adjoinment of this 6th Commandment to be discussed of prohibition of the taking of Innocent Life with the prior compilation on the 5th Commandment of the Common Law of God of Honoring thy Father and thy Mother , that thy days may be prolonged in the Land YHWH has given thee , showing the positive creative power to be exerted in the Common-Wealth of Israel to protect the Land of the children of thy people (Thy Brother) from the guilt of innocent blood :

Deu_19:1 When the LORD thy God hath cut off the nations, whose land the LORD thy God giveth thee, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their cities, and in their houses;

Deu 19:2 Thou shalt separate three cities for thee in the midst of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it.

Deu 19:3 Thou shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer may flee thither.

Deu 19:4 And this is the case of the slayer, which shall flee thither, that he may live: Whoso killeth his neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in time past;

Deu 19:5 As when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall flee unto one of those cities, and live:

Deu 19:6 Lest the avenger of the blood pursue the slayer, while his heart is hot, and overtake him, because the way is long, and slay him; whereas he was not worthy of death, inasmuch as he hated him not in time past.

Deu 19:7 Wherefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt separate three cities for thee.

Deu 19:8 And if the LORD thy God enlarge thy coast, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, and give thee all the land which he promised to give unto thy fathers;

Deu 19:9 If thou shalt keep all these commandments to do them, which I command thee this day, to love the LORD thy God, and to walk ever in his ways; then shalt thou add three cities more for thee, beside these three:

Deu 19:10 That innocent blood be not shed in thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and so blood be upon thee.

Deu 19:11 But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities:

Deu 19:12 Then the elders of his city shall send and fetch him thence, and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die.

Deu 19:13 Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee.

Deu 19:14 Thou shalt not remove thy neighbour’s landmark, which they of old time have set in thine inheritance, which thou shalt inherit in the land that the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it.

A struggle between

the Flesh and the Spirit

Before venturing into this compilation notice the power of creation and judgment which is to be exerted into a Biblically Realistic society of Theonomic exactness. With in this statute to be executed, at it’s very heart of the creation and maintenance is the Land’s Road-Way system, that is the lands very rights of way; as we may understand it today’s terms: Some of our State highways, County and Township roads as well as City streets are implace due to the principles of the 6th Commandment as it’s Organic foundation, this is why this section of Deuteronomy 19:14 as well forbids the removal of ancient landmark, as the road way will, as it is today flow naturally between the boarders of family owned property. This is civilization as YHWH God dictated it, an exercise of the Spiritual Image and likeness by those who have his law upon their heart by natural progeniture

Facts of

Observable Nature

Yet in the case of observable Nature the living creatures seemingly need no permission or license beyond it’s own Hunger, Territory and sometimes Entertainment to kill and take life; thus by Nature we see that life operates with out law to govern the taking thereof in a selfish state according to it’s flesh, the creature prefers it’s own wants and needs before the basic breath of it’s victim, yet even this is made by the Creators design as the self evident facts bear witness; by nature the sons of Adam would in fact govern no differently with out the Law of God as the scripture relays in:

Gen_6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with ADaM, for that he also is flesh.

And in Gen_6:11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

The

Christian Perspective

of the

Apostle Paul

The struggle between flesh and Spirit is here made evident to the war with in the living souls of ADaM: on the one hand we are spiritual, our inward man is capable of resembling the image and likeness of the Father YHWH God it’s Creator’s righteousness, and on the other hand ADaM is bound in flesh like all other living creatures and has the same selfish motivations to satiate his wands and needs; yet the reconciliation able to be harmonized in the creation of ADaM even in his fallen state is that it is this unique ability of having the duel nature of God flesh and Spirit that allows for Dominion or Governance, yet Governance with Righteousness is only achievable when the works and fruits of the flesh are crucified and redemption of the flesh body is the judicious goal of Adam’s children in the active fight against the fruits of the flesh: Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like…which I tell you …they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. (Gal_5:19-21)

In this make up designed by YHWH Creator of the souls of ADaM Spiritual Judgment is capable of coming to Fruit in our flesh: Gal_5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

It is by this Spirit, the image and likeness of God which ADaM is reflective of, that allows him to create and Govern according to justice and and Judgment of God for his people and to aid as a light to the world in his resurrected state after the image of the Son of God, that is a a Christian. All forms of creative power given to ADaM in the making of society, be it building structures for protection, worship, help, aid education all are manifestations of the Governance ability of the spirit, a Spirit mixed with it’s fleshly desire to satiate it’s wants and needs, may in this resurrected state after the inward man focus this desire upon the things of God, the fruits of the Spirit, in other words ADaM is called to prefer the wants and needs of God the Father before his own and every one else, as the living creature of flesh is desirous and in preferance to it’s own wants and needs in preference to the life of it’s victim, so is the Spirit in preference to the wants and needs of the Spirit over the life and breath of the works and workers of the flesh:

Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. Rom_1:29-32 – The Christian perspective of the Apostle Paul

It is by this standard the Organic nature of both murder and capitol punishment is divided according to nature and nature’s God.

Consider the primary example found in the first event of killing between the sons of Adam, Cain and Able found in Gen 4:8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.(Gen_4:1-16)

Here accourding to both the context of the account and of Heb_11:4, 1Jo_3:12-15 righteous Able’s blood is shed and his life taken by the wrath of his wicked angry brother, the first imparitive strike against the 2nd Proto Commandment discussed in the introduction of this compilation, which in fact strikes against the first protos commandment as well

Mar_12:30 love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength

Mar_12:31 And the second is like this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

 

In this first case of murder, we have as well an absolute stike against the blessed mandate of dominion found in Gen_1:26-28 and discussed in the prior commandment as the act of killing ones brother undermines every tenant of that mandate and validates the curse of death pronounced upon ADaM as people, that is when murder is commited by one brother upon another of the same linage it:

1st devalues the parents of the linage, thus it is a strike against the prior 5th Commandment

2nd as devaluation of the parents of the linage it is, particularly in the case of ADaM a devalueation of God the Father who made ADaM in his likeness and image .

3rd eliminates a representative of God the Father’s dominion/governance is stalled, precisely in the case of the murder of the righteous.

4th finally as a truism, reverses the fruitfulness and multiplicity of Adamic Life in the act of murder.

As it should be understood from this organic contradiction, due to the nature of ADaM’s creation in the likeness and image of YHWH God the Father, ADaM’s intended purpose was to be in righteousness, as we find in this elementary account of Cain’s murder of Righteous Abel.

While some of the stated contradictions of the Blessed mandate in the points above could be said to be the same by taking the life of the murderer as well, the element of righteousness which lacks from the life of a murderer nullifies the same standard being held in the case of a murderer, rather the opposite becomes the observable, that by allowing the wicked to live unpunished will only further spawn the curse, and rather than affect the Earth with the Righteous Image and likeness of God the Father intended to govern by blessing, the willful dominion of the curse will govern in it’s own selfish likeness thereby multipling and fruiting the Earth with death according to the flesh rather than righteousness according to the Spirit as found in:

Gen_6:5 And YHWH saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Gen 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

Gen 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth…

And thus to maintain the balance of righteousness, the Judgment upon murder was firmly enacted to the sons of Adam by the repeating of the blessed mandate after the destruction of the earth and the transgression against it righteousness by murder:

Gen_9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth…

Gen 9:5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of an ADaM; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of an ADaM.

Gen 9:6 Whoso sheddeth an ADaM’s blood, by ADaM shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made He you the ADaM.

Gen 9:7 And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.

Gen 9:8 And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying,

Gen 9:9 And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you..

And thus we have the bedrock foundation of the organic law which prohibits murder by nothing short of the exact idea’s delivered and codified my Moses in the 5th Commandment Thou Shalt Not Kill.

Capitol Punishment in society is always divine

When killing is considered from a Governmental perspective in any society, the Creative Force, that is the Divine which are attributed to giving life is called immediately into focus. Plainly the philosophic type question begs the answer to “Who gives the right to any one to take another’s life?”. For with out the absolute protection of innocent life from anger and wrath as well as the needs and wants of others, a protection which comes from Divine Law as an exception to the law of the flesh with allows for our Blood at the will of the stronger; as well it is Divine Law which offers exception to Righteous Government to put away evil that the wicked begat no more wickedness. No other legitimate answer maybe given to the question is begged.

With out the license granted by the Creator of life to put away some life from living by killing that life, it may be presumed that no life may be taken. Indeed, the enactment of the death penalty is indeed a permission of licensure given to those who wields the right to avenge blood, yea it is a waiver of this 6th Commandment’s protection.

Justice and Righteousness

of

YHWH GOD’s LAW

It is then by this law of the 6th Commandment both prince and stranger answer for the shedding of innocent blood and other sin crimes which demand blood as it’s payment to put evil away from the nation, for when a ruler takes the blood of His innocent subjects as punishment or in abuse he is as liable as the roving foreigner who would take the life of one of the citizens of the nation he dwells among. Thus, we not only have with in this 6th Commandment the prohibition for murder among brothers and neighbors and strangers, but we also have the prohibition of Judges putting innocent men to death with out inquisition, search, asking diligently; truth, and certainty, that such abomination is wrought… Deu_13:14

As well:

Deu_17:4 And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel:

Deu 17:5 Then shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto thy gates, even that man or that woman, and shalt stone them with stones, till they die.

 

As the further substantiation of the positive aspect of this governing precept of this operating judgment:

Deu_17:6 At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.

Deu_19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

And further built upon this precept of Thorough investigation and evidence establishing facts, the falsification of witness is as well punishable, in this case of murder, the one falsifying a witness as well forfeits his own life…

Deu_ 19:16 If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong;

Deu 19:17 Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days;

Deu 19:18 And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother;

Deu 19:19 Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.

Deu 19:20 And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you.

Deu 19:21 And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

The Law of the flesh is sin and death,

The Law of God forbids killing:

God Grants Righteous Government Licensure to kill Sin and Death

It is an important at this juncture in thought to reaffirm and consider:

That the 6th Commandment prohibits Killing, thus it is so that with out the precepts which grant exception to the God Ordained Government instituting His righteous Judgments upon evil, no provision to kill is granted. It is only according to the strict format imbued into the exception of taking away wicked and evil life from the Land by condemning the workers of the fruits of the flesh, and this for the sole purpose of maintaining the fruits of the Spirit in all goodness and righteousness and truth Eph_5:9, with in the Christian Common-Wealth of Israel.

By such a righteous standard all the People may truly say

Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And of the people shall say Amen. Deu_27:25

And with the people let all the Judges and Rulers know: Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked. Exo_23:7

For The God of Israel, the Rock of Israel speaks to every Judge and ruler as he charged David saying,

He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God. (2Sa_23:3)

Those who execute such capitol punishments for the maintenance of the Common-Wealth must be such men who are above reproach, Judges and Officers of the Church Israel (Congregation of YHWH / Church of God) comprised of literal Elders or Old men of literal Families as shown in Exo_18:25-26, Deu_1:9-18, Num_1:1-54, Num_11:14-25, as now stated many times heretofore, that the perfect Law of God with it’s punishments be not blasphemed. As we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;

1Ti_1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

1Ti 1:10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

1Ti 1:11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God…

The Law is part and parcel to the Gospel which our Apostle Paul teaches to Timothy and the Christian’s of that day.

Thus from King to Peasant Thou Shalt Not Kill reigns as an essential element of the balance found in the Christian Common-Wealth, God reigns supreme and the only Sovereign LORD by and through the Word of His Law.

So hear we are if we would consider that it has been exactly 7 months to the day according to the moon’s 10th day that our Passover lamb would have been selected, so 7 – 10th days of the moon have occur at the day of Atonement, of course the Day of the triumphant entry of Christ as well into the Jerusalem and the Temple. The Day of Atonement was a day when the scapegoat and the YHWH’s goat of Atonement would be selected as well on the 10th day of the 7th month…

Let us read:

Lev_23:26 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Lev 23:27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

Lev 23:28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.

Lev 23:29 For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.

Lev 23:30 And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.

Lev 23:31 Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

Lev 23:32 It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.

As always this chapter of Leviticus shows the Feasts/ Seasons or Appointed times of the LORD, MUODI YHWH; among those times of special worship to be memorialized is this special day, a special Sabbath, even 23:32 a Sabbath of Sabbaths, or a Sabbath of Rest, a Rest of Rests. Yet in this Chapter YHWH does not call this a feast but a day, a day of Atonement, from what I have found, unless I’ve missed something, the day of Atonement is not a MUOD, that is it is not a feast in the same way all of the other feasts are, nor is it a cHaG but a Day. This is interesting because the Day of Atonement is the only day called a Sabbath which is not aligned with what we call the quarterly phases of the moon, what we as Heavenly Sabbath keepers call feasts or seasons the MUODIM of the Hebrew Scriptures. The Day of Atonement happens on the 10th day, started as all other Heavenly days on the evening prior of the very tail end of the 9th Day technically, yet it is reckoned as the 10th. The Day of Atonement is a Sabbath, yet it is not a MUOD or feast appointed in the same way as the regular Sabbaths and new moon’s are, as Psa 104:19 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down., a verse most of us understand to explain the usage of the Moon to show the Lev 23 and Gen 1 season’s or MUODIM Sabbath, yet again the Day of Atonement is not among the MUODIM, however, due to it’s reckoning according to the lunar cycle as dictating months it’s very Day is reckoned according to the moon. This point is an important part of Heavenly Calendric understanding, as it substantiates an important suppositions of Lunar Sabbatarianism: That the other feasts mentioned are MUOD ‘s because they are in alignment with the quarterly phases upon which we sabbath regularly and 2 that like the Day of Atonement, so are other days reckoned my the moon while being governed by the sun due to day light; the last point perhaps unnecessary to be said.

The day of Atonement is a Day that is entirely special to YHWH, yet it is out side of the regular Sabbath cycle of the MUODIM signaled in conjunction with the signs of Gen_1:14 as specified in Exo_31:13, yet this day is deemed with the status of Sabbath, the intensity is added A SABBATH OF SABBATH’s thus for the reasons which we as men may only speculate upon YHWH has chosen this 10th day of the 7th New moon of the Heavenly and Agricultural year to be A day of Atonement a Sabbath of Rest to the children of Israel.

The word Atonement is in Hebrew KiPR or plural KiPRYM, a word which indicates generally a covering, the word is employed for the first time when Noah covered the Ark in pitch as to water proof it for to make it water tight and float in Gen_6:14, the word is also used when talking of the manna covering the face of the ground like hoarfrost in Exo_16:14, as well in Exo_25:1-40 when we read of the mercy-seat we are as well reading the word the KiPR-th, which is of course the object that YHWH commanded the high priest to appear before on the day of atonement, though out the scriptures this word is also randomly translated: forgiveness, ransom, sum of money and a few other odds and ends that imply in one way or another a COVERING, the Idea of the Hebrew word KiPR is a covering, the so called mercy seat was a covering or lid upon the ark, yet upon that covering the blood was placed as the legitimate covering upon the Day of atonement.

The Day of Atonement was for the people a Sabbath or Rest accompanied by soul affliction shown by fasting, sack cloth and ashes from a purely scriptural understanding, yet to the priest we find a bit of work when we read about the scapegoat, YHWH’s sacrificial goat, the washings every time he would leave the Holy place and re enter, the sabbath was the peoples part, as well as the soul affliction, to this the Priest was to endure as well on top of his duties that would only occur on this day..Some times at the height of fasting on this day I think of what it must have been like to be the priest before the altar of YHWH and smelling that sweet savor of roasting and burning flesh while not eating that day, it wouldn’t help.

But why did the people do this? did they believe they were atoning for their sins by sabbath and fasting? No that was the priests part of the Nation, it was he who made atonement, or covering for the people of Israel from the stranger with in his gate to his own family, they were all covered by the blood he sprinkled upon the altar, the atonement made on that day… but we even today still follow in this order, for those who fast today the power of atonement was never in the power of the common people but in the high priest and his God ordained office to make a covering for the people.

Consider:

Lev_16:29 And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:

Lev 16:30 For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD.

Lev 16:31 It shall be a sabbath of rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, by a statute for ever.

Lev 16:32 And the priest, whom he shall anoint, and whom he shall consecrate to minister in the priest’s office in his father’s stead, shall make the atonement, and shall put on the linen clothes, even the holy garments:

Lev 16:33 And he shall make an atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar, and he shall make an atonement for the priests, and for all the people of the congregation.

Lev 16:34 And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the LORD commanded Moses.

THE PATTERN OF THE HEAVENLY

We may safely conclude, however, that this office and function is being fulfilled in the tabernacle in the heavens.

So, here is a simple crash course on how I believe this function of temple worship is happening today.

Exo_25:40, Act_7:44;

Heb_8:5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

Heb 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

Heb_9:6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.

Heb 9:7 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:

Heb 9:8 The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:

Heb 9:9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;

Heb 9:10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.

Heb 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

Heb 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

Heb 9:13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:

Heb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Heb_9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

In this way on the Day of Atonement we as New Covenant recipients must keep in mind that the fasting we do, the affliction of our soul which we endure, which in truth is light compared to the suffering which could be, and the Sabbath we keep out side of the regular cycle of the weekly MUOD is only the reasonable service that we on earth present our selves for, before the atoning priest Jesu(s) the Christ, who executes this office in the tabernacle in the heavens, which is the true Tabernacle which Moses saw and patterned that which is earth of; yet even in the time of Moses if there was a pattern in Heaven there was a Temple, and if a Temple a ministration of the Temple, and a function executed by those ministers and the High Minister or High Priest. We can not speak of those things we have not seen not those things we have not read or heard, but we may safely conclude that YHWH had this service being executed by heavenly ministration as a pattern for Israel on earth since time unknown.

Now the word used for the word propitiation or Atonement in the post Christian scriptures of the new testament KJV ant it is the word used G2434 hilasmos in

Num_5:8 But if a man have no near kinsman, so as to make satisfaction for his trespass to him, the trespass-offering paid to the Lord shall be for the priest, besides the ram of atonement (εξ-ιλασεται which is Ex-hilasetai), by which he shall make atonement (G2434 hilasmos) with it for him.

Side by side these words are used, in the Hebrew the word is nearly identical KiPR, yet in the Greek Lxx the words show two different aspects of Atonement or propitiation, aspects which are important in understanding the work of Christ on our behalf, not that one needs that knowledge as it’s function is executed by Him, not us.

The interesting thought I’d like to offer is on the Greek word in the LXX used in place of the word KiPR, which is :

Ex-hilasetai is not represented by a Strong’s number because this word does not appear in the Greek new testament, rather the best way to show it is by looking at the prefix EX G1537, meaning or denoting origin (the point whence motion or action proceeds), from, out…added to the prior word hilase, which is best understood as a form of mercy and by implication, atonement and or propitiation.

That is literally an outer mercy, so when we read the scriptures on the Atonement that occurred throughout the Law but especially on the Day of outward mercy, the Idea of Biblical Hebrew Atonement in the Greek was not as much of a visual covering but of the act, some would say a more abstract understanding, yet defining as to the covering of mercy or atonement implied by the Hebrew, as every act of KiPR mentioned prior was a covering by mercy.

It is due to the reality of the Heavenly Tabernacle, which is the literal, that all the atonement of the atonement on earth could only ever be an outer atonement or outer mercy that had ever been and can ever be on earth it is only a pattern of the Heavenly Temple where the Son of YHWH Jesu(s) the Christ officiates as High Priest literally. and this is why we do not find the Greek word ex-hilas in the new testament scriptures, because Christ’s atonement was not a outer atonement it was the literal.

Thus when we as the people of God worship according to the law upon the day of atonement with humility, fasting and sadness we must never forget that the sacrifice of Christ was the true propitiation since time unknown, and that as we worship our High priest is made atonement for us as we due our part. The Day of Atonement is another example of faith shown by works as taught by the James the brother of our Lord

Jas_2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Jas 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

Though there are those who teach that the dead works of Heb_9:14 are the keeping of the works before ordained of the Law, we may boldly know better… that it is works with out faith which makes them DEAD, and more so we know that the blood of Christ purges our conscience from such sin which only leads to death.

Let our works be filled with faith and let them not be dead, having faith that our High priest makes atonement for his people.

Before judgment examine thyself,

and

in the day of visitation thou shalt find outer-atonement.

Humble thyself before thou be sick,

and

in the time of sins shew repentance.

Sir_18:20-21

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Exodus 20:8-11

Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee

And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt,

and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand

and by a stretched out arm:

Therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.

Deuteronomy 5:12-15

For those who may have never considered the idea of the Common Law for a Common wealth including a Common Sabbath, let me begin by saying Sabbath observation with out the Blood of Christ upon the alter of the temple of Heaven is empty, a New moon or feast day is empty with out the soul cleansing blood of the Lamb of God who gave himself for us to be a spotless church, so that at this time we as a people, as his people might have a sacrifice worthy for every day the Lord YHWH has given us, that in accordance with tenants of the New Covenant this 4th Commandment might as well be truly written on our heart, mind and soul according to the life of Jesu(s) Christ. BY GRACE WE ARE SAVED!

The 4th Commandment should never be forgotten by the ReNEWed Man, sanctified by the people of God, the people who are called by His name according to the prior Commandment of the 10, the people who have abandoned the Idols of their hearts or the laws of strange god’s beside the LORD YHWH according to the 2nd and 1st Commandment of the 10 as well. The very spirit of every Commandment spoken of thus far in this Compilation series on the Common Law of God resides in this Commandment, and this commandment resides in them, that the words of James may echo clearly in our ears and hearts

Jas_2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

As a reminder, the Law of God and in this case the Sabbath of the 4th Commandment is among the most reasonable service of Rom_12:1 by which we as Christians who are members of the Church present our selves as Living sacrifices “Holy and acceptable” before God. The Sabbath is in line with the good works the apostle Paul spoke of in Eph_2:10 : For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them, these are they according to Deu_28:9-10 which again tells us that if we shall keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways all people of the earth shall see that we are called by the name of the LORD.

It is biblically indisputable that the 4th Commandment establishing the Sabbath Day is a doctrine of specific worship and service appointed for the People who are called by the name of the God of the bible, and the act of making holy what he has deemed, sanctifying what he has sanctified is to walk in his ways.

While so called spiritual Christianity still, for the time being that is, meets on a collective day, the spirit of the 4th commandment has been stripped away from the once held reason why they met on that collective day; a situational context that may help describe the understanding which has been spoken of prior of following the Letter or the Spirit of any Law: in the case of the old rest day of Christendom, sunday, the command was only being observed by force, social construct, and tradition as the ‘Letter’ by a majority, this Letter eventually had no Spiritual impact due to it’s lack Spiritual make up, yet for those authorities that retained the law due to a true love for it’s effect upon healthy society, that is those who loved the law by the Spirit in it’s position as the 4th commandment, it was they who kept the Letter enforce. But once the authorities and minority concluded that the Letter of the Law was no longer Spiritual, and that the 4th commandment was abrogated in disregard to their grandfather’s doctrine, the Letter of that law was nothing more than the ink in a book called the “old testament”, the story of a Letter written in Stone.

This is due to a lack of desire by church goers to be called by God’s name as God proclaims Him self to be known, and a desire by the disobedient and gainsaying people to fashion a tolerant god that will abide in their heart according to their own laws, The having of another God before the God of the Bible, includes unfortunately the modern day Jesus,when he is the harbinger of self indulgence and self worship of the modern self destructing Church world, it is this guise of self which sits among those Idol’s that reside in the heart, an anti-Christ who many say is God, and who many who say they are Christian say “is in their heart”, it is by the residence of this anti-Christ Jesus, believed to be a law breaking son of the God of the bible, the God who wrote this very law of Sabbath into the table of stone with his own finger and numbered it 4th.

As Such the Jesus in the heart of the church world of today is the Idol in violation of the 1st and 2nd commandment being. As well this Jesus of Sabbath breaking is not the Jesus who came in the name of YHWH according to the scriptures, who was a keeper of the 3rd commandment, which shows the Deu_28:1-10 National Lord proclaimed as He who came in the name of YHWH according to Psa_118:26 as stated by

Joh_12:13 : Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Rather than another Jesus and son of God which opposes the Commandments of His father we Have a Lord and Christ which boldly and loudly Proclaims “The Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath”. (Mar_2:28, Luk_6:5, Luk_13:15), a claim substanciated by the fact attested to by the testamony of Luk_4:16 … his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

The 4th Commandment was the Custom of the Christ! It is the Custom of the Christ-ian! Regardless of what the happy go lucky televangelist, radio preacher or the local pastor tells us, the Sabbath is a biblical fact and way mark of the Godly Christian life.

Some history to think about

The 4 commandment may be one of the most knowledgeably fought against Commandments by the world at large with only a rival of the 7th on adultery, a connection to be noticed. The idea of taking time which God has given us and keep it holy and sanctify it by rest and worship towards Him is particularly fought against by those who espouse themselves as followers of Christ. It is those who call themselves Christians that have done the most damage to this Commandment since the time of the roman church under Victor who condemned the more biblically lawful observance of Polycrates disciple of John, unto the time of Constantine in the 3rd century who enforced the Julian calendar (created by Julius Caesar) with the mated notation of the bishop of Rome by the guise of the treaty of Milan, which brought the non-Julian observers to surface under the guise of tolerance to the end that Rome might quash the opposition of the sunday church according to the Roman dictate; in more recent history after the establishment of the Julian week was excepted by most European Christians Reformationists and Puritians sought to apply God’s Law to ever level of Society, for the level of the 4th Commandment they sought to see sunday regarded as not only church day but as the sabbath of Christendom, to this the so called evangelical church even now opposes under the doctrine of anti-nomianism teaching for doctrine the abrogation of the 4th Commandment, that is mind you: the idea that the Christ of church fathers such as Polycrates, and the disciples of Luk 23:56 who’ rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.’ before attending to the body of the crucified Christ, as well the Christ of our so called protestant Reformers and Puritian fathers of faith who desired the regard of sunday as sabbath.

Thus, a once wise and understanding people, a people called by the name of Christ and of Christ’s God the Father have fallen to moral ignorance and blindness once again yet this time with the name of Christ on their lips and a copy of the book which can correct the fall, the damage has spread like a flood across the world to wash away the Law of God in it’s practical and most rudimentary application, by once again detaching Christ the King from the Kingdom Law, a law which He has been given by the inheritance of His Father YHWH, He Who Is God, the Ruler of Heaven and Earth, the God of Israel who penned every jot an titel upon the heart of the man Jesu(s) Christ.

A Church which keeps Sabbath

Regardless of at this point of what day you personally believe is the 7th day of the 4th Commandment is according to the weekly calendation; a subject intended to be gotten into by the end of this message.

Consider how important this 4th Commandment is to YHWH GOD, and as a recipient of the New Covenant: a Citizen of the commonwealth and Nation of Israel how important should it be to you and how important should it be to your Nation?

Exo_31:13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.

Exo 31:14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

The subject of the relavant importance of this Commandment to GOD should never be brought to question, the Commandment is so Important to the LORD Judge, that under His ordained order, under His Common Law, has determined the wilful violation thereof was worthy of Death in this life.

.Exo 31:16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

Exo 31:17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever

There is no case for those who wish to be the people of God and their children as the children of God, who willfully forget the Sabbath and it’s holiness, it’s sanctity, and it’s keeping, rather those who kick against the Sabbath by this scripture are Rejected as the people of God and can not be the Spirtual Israel spoken of in Rom_9:6-8…For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel… thus they are not the Israel of God, The LORD only accounts an Ethnic Israelite a true Israelite as He desired them when they desire His ways and His name to be upon their life, a people who desire to walk after the Spirit in the letter of the Law as best they can.

Yet again I must say for those who hear this message wrong: It is by pure Grace that we have within our grasp the LORD’s willingness to forgive, that the statement may always ring true “By Grace ye are saved” a Grace that is nevertheless through Faith, which work together as the gift of God, No not of our own works, nor of how well we keep any Commandment for we are sinners before the face of a holy God, thus it is the Grace of God which is extended constantly to a rebellious and gainsaying people prone to selfish desire and self worship, that when the fullness of time may come in our lindividual life and in the life our Nation God may send the redemption of His the King into our life to use as our battle cry against sin : BY GRACE WE ARE SAVED!

Consider the message YHWH gave Ezekiel for the rebellious house of Israel:

Eze 20:16 Because they despised my judgments, and walked not in my statutes, but polluted my sabbaths: for their heart went after their idols.

Eze 20:17 Nevertheless mine eye spared them from destroying them, neither did I make an end of them in the wilderness.

Eze 20:18 But I said unto their children in the wilderness, Walk ye not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols:

Eze 20:19 I am the LORD your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them;

Eze 20:20 And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.

The Sabbath Day is among the most pressing proofs of the service and worship of the God of the Bible, and the willful or ignorant disregard is among the most proving evidence of ones service or involvement in another system of law or morality. Willful is continuously said due to our great shame as Nation, that is a Genetic people who even if ignorant to the vastness of the Manners and Common Customs of the bible we have decidedly neglected the Creation account with it’s Exclamation point, THE SABBATH DAY!

Ignorant is continuously said, because many now do not even think about the 4th Commandment in it’s simplest sence, let alone examine the scripture for an understanding of it’s importance, this started by past generation’s willful neglect thereof.

The point made in absolutely every account of Sabbath’s observation found in the scripture, is the Testimony of YHWH’s 6 days of work followed by the Sabbath day of Rest and the Command, not the recommendation, of His people to do the same, people that are to be like Him and in His Image, a people that are to be holy as He is Holy. A Command made for man as a liberty of Rest and relaxation intended as part of the holy worship of YHWH the creator and sustainer.

Thus, the Children of Israel are Commanded to make subject all thing in their power by the letter to engender the Spirit:

thou, thy son, thy daughter, thy manservant, thy maidservant, thy cattle, thy stranger that is within thy gates:

For in Six Days the LORD YHWH Made Heaven and Earth,

and

On the Seventh Day He Sabbathed, and was Refreshed.

The simplicity of a Common day of worship and Rest in the Name of God the creator is a unifying aspect of the Biblical Church and people. When the sabbath is used lawfully the Commonwealth is unified even by the act of desistance of all labor and business. Consider the blue laws so called, that enforced the desistance of sunday business:

By this family was encouraged, the churches were encouraged, American and European work ethic was supported, the benefit of a Common day of worship was an observably positive part of society, and regardless of my convictions against the keeping of sunday, it must be admitted as a good thing for European people to remember the God of the Biblical creation story, as well the keeping of sunday as a Nation had it’s benefits of the papal tradition placed upon the day known as sunday that is that it was the day of the Resurrection of Christ, and by that tie of events of biblical creation and christ’s Resurrection it was assumed by the non-christian peoples that America, United Kingdom, Europe and South Africa and so on were Christian Nations: Just in the topical keeping of sunday this assumption was made by the citizen and the stranger, due to it’s law upon a society and it’s reverence by the society; a reverence which made the antithesis such as the Speakeasy: a place to go in secret to do business on sunday, eat or get a drink, it was the social tolerance of such that began the repeal of the blue laws. To make the matters worse the churches, particularly evangelicals heaped up the anti-nomian doctrine teaching that the law and commandments had been done away, lead by anti-christian portions of society such as businessmen, jews, atheists and communists all lobbying to repeal the blue laws, to change western culture toward self gratification The repeal in some states happened like this: first the businesses of necessity must be aloud to open, restaurants and grocery stores People need food! department and clothing stores people need clothes! as well as a nice out fit for church, ehh? Soon everything fell under the guise of necessity and who ran the stores and restaurants? The original non-sabbatarians, the non-church goers of course, but eventually the church goers concluding from the fat preachers sermon one sunday teaching that it couldn’t possibly be a sin to do a little shopping on grandpa and grandma’s day of rest: so began to use the stores by the populous, sales went up and no further proof was needed for the necessity, so much that church goers eventually couldn’t ‘afford’ to not work on some sunday’s, bt as long as the offering plate was filled on sunday night or wednesday night the fat preachers didn’t mind work rather than church, besides “it’s a christian liberty”.

The sunday churchers of America would have done well to observe the words of the prophet Amos:

Amo_8:4 Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,

Amo 8:5 Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah (measure) small, and the shekel (money) great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?

Amo 8:6 That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?

Amo 8:7 The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works.

Amo 8:8 Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein?

I hope the mention of Amos’s rebuke for those who desire to do business on the sabbaths and new moons is thought provoking to the prior point, in context it may be read that Amos is describing the abandonment of the new moons and Sabbath’s of the Heavens started by the businessmen who supported the religious system of Samaria, Dan and Beersheba, a system that 1Ki_12:33 tells was started by a calendar change devised by a King’s heart.

One of the reasons the days which our European people used in times past, under Papal and pagan persuasion, have been unable to establish a consistent sabbath day of worship is because of the judeo christian duplicity found on the subject and more damningly the non-intrinsic and thus sign-less basis of the days so named Saturnday and Sunday as well as the whole weekly system. Consider how Commonly in our society saturns day is considered the 7th day of the calendar week of the Gregorian calendar system established by Pope Greg the 8th upon the Julian model which originally used weeks of 7 and 8 days, yet sunday as has been described has overwhelmingly been the day devoted to Sabbath like worship, yet it is regarded as the 1st day of the calendar week. This ability to change the day of worship from the Grego 7th day saturns day to the 1st day sunday is claimed openly to be so by the Papal church authority. Yet in truth this authority is not due to the fact that God has given such power to men, but that the whole calendar system is undeniably derived from it’s Creator MEN: Julius Caesar and Pope Greg the 8th and Not YHWH God, this is easily witnessed by the lack of witness about which day is the Sabbath…there is no sign associated at all with either day.

The 4th creation day ordaining the lights of Heaven must in Reality be closely connected to the 7th day of Rest, the Sabbath of the 4th commandment, easy enough to remember. As a Common Law of a Genetic and National People our Law’s must not be abstract like the grego calendar we live under today, rather it must be organic, that is intrinsic to nature as a fact to the nature of the law of YHWH God: it can never be abolished or changed; thus a Truly Heavenly calendar can not be altered, only ignored or forcibly dissuaded by masters of men.

In the Catholic roman construct of their churches feasts, Sunday takes the precedence, when one studies the history of Easter, X-mas, Lent and sunday Pentecost according to the papal tradition sunday is always the focus point seen clearly in the accepted determination of Anatolius of Alexandria who lived around the year A.D. 230-280, a great mathmatition and man of science who used his God given knowledge to contradict the lunar sabbath of Passover being observed by Christians of Europe and Asia, for the aim of substantiating the keeping of sunday, to replace passover and to establish Easter.

The Julian calendar reformation of Pope Gregory the 8th of the 15 hundreds, when the Julian calendar had noticeably slipped past nature to the eventual detriment of society, the church of Rome had need to wait and issue the adjustment of the calendar only once it had slipped to a time in alignment with the weekly cycle,14 days; As not to disturb the weekly cycle established by the prior Constantinian-Julian system used by the majority faithful, yet folks like George Washington who was born on the day we now use for leap year lost there b-day when the change was issued nearly 200 years after Pope Greg’s decree.

The Calendar of the God of the Bible which we will not begin to discuss is however Organic and Natural, based on observable and infallible proofs able to be witnessed by any one upon the earth in his own voice and language. The only objection which distorts this voice and language is the voice of a man, like a Pope, Emperor or Congress who can only condemn and punish those who will not obey the man made order:

Since the time of Pharaoh king of Egypt who refused to let Israel celibate the feast of YHWH unto Polycrates bishop of Ephesus condemned for celebrating the lunar sabbath of Passover and unleavened bread the words of Daniel persist:

Dan_7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws…

 

While men and rulers of men may seek to change the times and laws of God, it is not in their power, rather the opposite it fact:

Blessed be the NAME of God for ever and ever:

for wisdom and might are his:

And he changeth the times and the seasons:

he removeth kings, and setteth up kings:

he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

A Heavenly and Agricultural alternative to the Pagan Julian Gregorian Calendar

the 4th Commandment not only governs the rest day in the Commonwealth, but the whole calendar system of the Commonwealth.

YHWH’s order is a Heavenly order an order man can not alter, while man may ignore it, it is ever there as a reminder to the people of Israel in connection with the signs of Genesis creation and the Sign of Exodus 31’s sabbath as a reminder of God’s Grace wither Israel knows it or not, YHWH is faithful:

Jer 31:35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:

Jer 31:36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.

The Heavenly Sabbath is a constant reminder of the Commonwealth of Israel, this Ethnic Nation of Israel is preserved by the King of the Kingdom of Heaven a Kingdom of God:

As most know, who listen to this ministries material know that we follow a Heavenly Calendar comprised of the lights of heaven according to Gen_1:14-19, which lights consist of the Sun, Moon, and Stars; by the three lights mentioned YHWH declares their purpose to be for Signs, Seasons, Days and Years and for Light upon the earth; The 7th day we believe is the accurate Sabbath of God, specifically seen in Exo_31:13 as a ‘sign’ and in Lev_23:2-3 a ‘season or feast’ both translated from the same Hebrew word found in Gen_1:14 ‘moed’, thus this Sabbath day is based purely upon the Heavenly lights of God’s 1st day and 3rd day creation. This system is often called lunar Sabbath, due to the intended overlap of the signs which the moon makes at the end of every week in it’s quarterly phases a 7th day which is enumerated from the new moon every month and holding the new moon as a feast in it’s own right insuperably attached to the last Sabbath of every month and continued into the 1st day of every month reckoned by the renewal of the new moon synonymous words in the Hebrew HeDeS ( pronounced by some as cHoDeSH), therefore the moon in it’s circuit in the Heavens making it’s phase signals the yearly and monthly weeks of the whole Calendar system of the Kingdom of Heaven.

It is from this point forward that due to the overwhelming interconnection found in the scriptures, which naturally or heavenly connects the Day, to the Weeks of Sabbath, to the Months to the Years, and the year to the greatest measurement of time mentioned in scripture the Jubilee, which is an enumeration of every 7 years, which like the new moon in correspondence to the 7th day sabbath out lined above, such is the count of 7 years restarted every 50 years.

As well as the overwhelming interconnection of the Sabbath according to the lunar cycle prior outlined are the Months of the biblical feastly cycle which make up the Agricultural Year, that is that every Sabbath day of this lunar cycle which fall upon the 1’st, 8th, 22nd, and 29th day of every month according to the new moon, in line with every festival named in scripture which has Sabbath days mentioned in it’s observance. Once this is considered from a biblical reality, this sabbath can not be ignored by the ardent bible law observer, as it ties the whole of the scripture together in one lineal system as far as time keeping is concerned.

The Sabbath produced by this Heavenly calendar is the repercussion of 2 very simple rules:

1. The Witness of the lights of Heaven

and

2. The application of Biblical Law as the Written Witness upon those lights we see.

In other words, no other 7 day cycle is capable of being seen in the lights of heaven that matches to the words of God’s law. There is no sign in the heavens, that dictates a sunday, or a saturns day, or any day of that so called week, but in alternative there is a Natural cycle to the moon which offers signs in it’s phases as way markers to the 7th day and seasons of appointed time.

All calendar observation seats upon the foundation of YHWH’s Rest day called the Sabbath, as found in the 4th Commandment, and of the creation week a seen pattern found in the year, month, week and day of the cultural Nation of Israel in the observance of their National feasts:

The Year because at it’s Agricultural start able to be marked for the geographic specific observer by the placement of the sun and moon in the stars, the stars work as the back drop or face of this Heavenly clock, if we may. By matching the Agricultural laws which we find primarily in

Deu_16:1 Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Passover unto the LORD thy God: for in the month of Abib the LORD thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night. the Brenton Greek LXX tells us:

Observe the month of new corn, and thou shalt sacrifice the passover to the Lord thy God; because in the month of new corn thou camest out of Egypt by night.

This is an important fact as witnessed by the creation week, as we see the Genesis basis as

Gen 1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the herb of grass bearing seed according to its kind and according to its likeness, and the fruit-tree bearing fruit whose seed is in it, according to its kind on the earth, and it was so.

Gen 1:12 And the earth brought forth the herb of grass bearing seed according to its kind and according to its likeness, and the fruit tree bearing fruit whose seed is in it, according to its kind on the earth, and God saw that it was good.

Gen 1:13 And there was evening and there was morning, the third day.

As we see the 3rd day of genesis creation before the reckoning of YHWH’s lights as Signs, seasons, days and years upon the 4th day, undoubtedly the heavens were arraigned in the creation of the heavens at the very beginning in some way yet it was at the 4th day that the earth began due to the 3rd day vegetation creation to use the light upon earth.

The Yearly cycle of the Bible is an Agricultural cycle which is marked by those who use all 3 lights of Heaven by the star sign called by most the Zodiak, but called in Job_38:32 Mazzaroth.

Once the Agriculture of the Abib or New Corn of Barley is established the first new month of the new year is signaled by the sign we called the new Moon; the new moon is the only signal in the Heavens which works in conjunction with the sun and stars to form an observable month pattern usable for the common farmer and the astronomer. The term new moon and new month and beginning of the month are synonymous in the Bible.

From the moon and it’s quarterly phase of light witnesses as well to the creation of the earth and the creation week, the new moon is born in darkness upon the end of a prior age but increases in it’s changing week by week or sabbath by sabbath until from it’s darkness it is seen as a true sign upon the 7th day of the month at evening, the following day being the 8th day of sun light according to the month.

And the Sabbath or week coming to it’s full perfection of it’s sign lead by the moon to proclaim the season and the intrinsic 7th day feast of YHWH Proclaimed by Lev_23:2-4 …Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts. Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings. These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.

According to Psa_104:19 it is the moon that was appointed for seasons, a word which in the Hebrew is moed (i, im) and is synonymous with the word feast, as in festival as well as the word season prior spoken of in Gen_1:14 .

The Sabbath is a season or feastival time of YHWH, as well the Sabbath is a heavenly sign according to Exo_31:13 , and as thus it is easily understood that from Gen_2:2-3 the sabbath to be appointed by the moon.

The philosopher Philo, a Judean who lived at the time of Christ spoke about the seventh day thus:

And the changes which the moon works in the air, it perfects chiefly in accordance with its own configurations on each seventh day.

And of the Day the smallest and yet greatest part of this Calendar system is as well a testament of the pattern of creation, not to be ignored, as it as well begins as all things in the darkness of creation by the setting of the prior age to be arisen again in time to break forth as the light of the world, to peek at it’s highest brightness at noon day and to set again to prepare for the rebirth of the next day as to hasten along the week, the month, and the year as the most integral part of the Heavenly clock we call calendar.

Within this Heavenly system YHWH has appointed times of this Agricultural year to be times of celebration, we in English also call these feasts, yet in Hebrew they are properly called cHaG H2282: A cHaG is distinct from a season or feast because it is the time period with in the two sabbaths which cap it off so to speak. For the New Covenant recipient there are 3 major annual Agricultural feasts or cHaGs, yet all together there are 1 Passover and Unleavened Bread, 2 Pentecost or feast of weeks, 3 Trumps, 4 Day of Atonement and 5 Tabernacles. The 3 major annual feasts that all males of Israel are required to celibate before YHWH are Celebrations of Agriculture, this is why in the Pentateuch we have the agricultural name for the celebration as well: Unleavened Bread/ Abib -New Ears of barley, Pentecost, the feast of weeks is First fruits of the wheat harvest, and Tabernacles is the feast of In gathering which is at the years end.

When using the Heavenly Calendar as explained prior, which as Lev 23 told us has the Sabbath at it’s base, the whole of the Agricultural Feastivals commanded by YHWH fall neatly and succinctly into place; just as the lay out for the feastivals are capped b two Sabbaths or holy convocation, so by use of the lunar cycle in allowing the moon to appoint seasons the Feast’s Sabbath are included in the regular sabbath cycle as natural building blocks in the month and year.

Now a lot of information on this subject is already available for any one who is willing to look on RNCM website, and free for down load, which will go into the subject of the feasts in much more great detail.

Yet I would like to end this particular message on this note:

Some have said to the few of us that I know, why is it that you don’t just keep the feast days with days that are on the calendar you get from the feed stone or grocery store? It would keep us all together. There are even some who have proposed that reckoning the festivals of YHWH by a realistic Agricultural approach ignores or denies the spring equinox, which is viewed as the start of the solar year, and I’m not arguing that it is not, and some of those questions will inevitably be in the minds of some of the listeners on the net. However, here is the reasoning of why I choose to follow, and I encourage other New Covenant recipients to follow in this fashion as well:

By observing the Calendar of YHWH according to the lights in the Heavens and over laying it upon the Organic, Natural, Intrinsic Agricultural Cycle the feasts of YHWH are no longer abstract archaic reading material, the feast become a Biblical Reality! A Biblical Reality that has the ability bring a Nation together before YHWH in a literal Celebration for all the goods and produce that He gives them by His good blessings! From a Christian Reconstruction mindset, the traditional papal calendar system with it’s abstract sunday and saturday can’t hold a candle to the Heavenly lights of YHWH’s system, the ignorance of Easter and X-mas can melt away in compared to the brilliance of the light of Christ’s Resurrection during the feast of unleavened bread when the actual wave sheaf from your own hand can bring the bead of life all the more close to your walk with him.

The 4th Commandment is not a commandment that only entails the rest and worship to be had at the end of every week, it is a unifying commandment meant to bring the men and families of Christian Israel together in worship as to keep them truly one Nation under God, a Nation who can simply look up into the heavens at any given time, but particularly at the Sabbaths and New moon and remember the sabbath is a sign, a sign made to appoint seasons which remind Israel that so long as the lights of Heaven are shining to the inhabitants of Earth YHWH will not forget you or cast you off!

As was discussed prior from the key text of 2 Corinthians 3, the law may be followed by either the letter or the Spirit. The Spirit shall give life and the Letter will kill. The Law will either Curse the one who Sin’s against it or Bless them who Keep it. While both form of people will inevitably be in all societies, YHWH, desired ADaM to be Like Him, God, but never to be YHWH God.

A word needs to be spoken on the word and name God or in Hebrew AL, ALHI, ALHIM, that is the God of the bible, whos name is YHWH. The word in it’s other usages in the bible may easily be seen to also reflect the judges of Israel who carried out judicial determination upon and for the people, this is easily seen in Exo_21:6; Exo_22:8; Exo_22:9: all of which refer to the God ordained authorities as being representatives of GOD due to the exicusion of his Law as seen in Deu_19:17-18, these are undoubtedly spiritual men due to the high standards placed upon them in their selection from among the Elders, that is the old men, of Israel’s Tribes and families Exo_18:25-26 Exo_18:25-26, Deu_1:9-18, Num_1:1-54, Num_11:14-25. This forwarded by Christ in Joh_10:34 and his quote of Psa_82:6-7, that the congregations of the judges of Israel were god’s representatives, they were refereed to as gods, that is ALHIM, the judicious exercise of YHWH’s Law, is the exercise of the mind of God, and the mind of Christ, when the law is used lawfully.

Israel’s Judges were taken from among the Elders, who were the cream of the crop in wisdom, life experience and in knowledge of God’s Law, they were God’s Representatives on earth, the disregard of their lawful adjudication power was punished by death, Deu_17:8-12 And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the LORD thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.

Consider the Genesis basis for this doctrine:

When YHWH GOD created ADaM in His own Likeness and Image Gen_1:26, He created him to have dominion, that is governance. As reality dictates and the bible confirms that God is a spirit, and as a Spirit ADaM was made in a Spiritual Likeness and Image, thus ADaM was given the Spirit of God by way of Judicious behavior like God, the reflection God’s Judgment, as focused on in the Compilation What is the (Holy) Spirit? pt.1, God’s Spirit is a Spirit of determining Truth, a Spirit of Wisdom, A Spirit of Knowledge and Understanding, A Spirit of Holiness or Purification.A

As ADaM is the temple of God’s Spirit, even in his ignorance of God’s Law man exercises the tenants of Spirit so named by the resemblance given him by nature, Yet when ADaM is obedient to the Laws and Commandments of God he is empowered from on high and prone towards his creation Blessing: Dominion of God’s Kingdom on earth. Sin against the first Commandment, as seen in the violation of the eating of the forbidden fruit of the knowledge of Good and Evil in Gen_3:1-7, that is the violation of the purity of the Holiness of God’s which was the state ADaM was made in to represent YHWH Dominion purely, until his selfish, humanist desires against God’s will took hold and he desired the wisdom only God had, of Good and Evil, a knowledge YHWH reserved to himself, that is the Rule of Law, knowledge of the difference between Good and Evil, a Knowledge that regardless of the object of the forbidden fruit, the violation of God’s strict command was the fruit of Death, by simply judging for ones own self that they were not under Dominion to God, and thus they desired to be God.

Yet it is this Law that we know is the powerful tool in making wise the simple and foolish Nation of Israel, who is the inheritor ADaM’s Dominion under Christ, and it shall be our righteousness by living in the Law and our Wickedness if not; the onus of the Spirit of Judgment is upon us according to the knowledge we now have like God, we possessors of this conscience, that is con-science to “bring-forth knowledge”.

So it is,the first Commandment is, as said, the only commandment when considering the Law of YHWH, as all violations of any Law willfully show disregard for He who is God, by giving ones obedience to another Law or services; albeit those of an Idol or strange God, or those of one’s own flesh: which is the underlying power of what is called humanism, and selfishness, ultimately the only object of worship in actual satanism as we will see by the end of this message.

When YHWH’s Law is followed: from the least to the Greatest commandment our bodies are presented as a living sacrifice, Rom_12:1, Which the Apostle tells us is our Reasonable Service, showing that the bowling down to and serving of any other God other than YHWH in sin against the 2nd commandment should very well as be seen in the service one presents as proof of His or Her obedience to the God of the Bible, the LORD YHWH, thus by willful disobedience to a Law, Statute or Command one presents their body as a living sacrifice to another God, even to ones own self.

Eve in the case of those who call them selves Bible believers, yet they disregard the Law’s of the God, YHWH, which breathed the Words of every Word and sent in the flesh His very Word, Even they who think them selves exempt from Service according the Word of God be in fact, willfully or ignorantly commit this form of Idolatry:

Eze_14:3 Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them?

Eze_14:4 Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols;

The form of Idolatry mentioned by Ezekiel the prophet is perhaps not the primary form of Idolatry, on account of the literal bowing down and worshiping aspects of the Commandment; however the humanism associated with both forms of worship are common. Consider the choice the worshiper of a pantheon has, they may choose if the personality and worship, thus the law of one strange god suits them other the other, and in the mind of the devotee the “gods” are willing to be tolerant to the worship of many others beside them selves. The Scripture used the word vanity to describe the act of Idolatry, we may see a usage of this in

Col_3:5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

Col 3:6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

Col 3:7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

Notice how Paul uses the Idea of these violations of God’s law as covetous and Idolatry, ad in verse 7 he ends the statement with the counter-approach of the same opposing heart and mind set as YHWH specifies in His own law:

Lev_18:4 Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God.

Lev 18:5 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.

The mind and heart of the adherent is still the scope of the worshiper of any thing called a god, either YHWH, or a false strange so called god. The life ‘style’ or walk a person chooses as well is part of the life his god wishes him to walk in: when a person does what they want despite the law of YHWH God they are humanist, which is the predominant religion midst christians and non-christians alike in our modern day, tolerance and acceptance of portions of YHWH’s Law which even most pagan peoples held as abomination with out the knowledge of the bible are now the norm, they are none the less our modern Idolatry, vanity, emptiness. It is how most ignorantly worship the the idol of their own heart, an Idol which tolerates the Idol in every one else’s heart, so long as it is tolerant of them.

In applying the 1st and 2nd commandment, in the National sense, that is by enforcing the judgments which keep Law and Order in society, the application of the punishment for a violation of the 2nd Commandment is always death.

Deu_17:2 If there be found among you, within any of thy gates which the LORD thy God giveth thee, man or woman, that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of the LORD thy God, in transgressing his covenant,

Deu 17:3 And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded;

Deu 17:4 And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel:

Deu 17:5 Then shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto thy gates, even that man or that woman, and shalt stone them with stones, till they die.

Deu_17:6 At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.

Deu 17:7 The hands of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So thou shalt put the evil away from among you.

This is the summation of transgression against the 1st or 2nd Commandment:

Judgment

For when the worship or service of another God is positively seen, two must FIND one committing such WICKEDNESS, that is undeniably so, or the judgment must NOT be. One who worships another god, positively, that is they do so BEFORE the LORD YHWH, the God of the bible, they have placed this other thing called a god literally before YHWH the God of the Bible, this must be able to be proven by diligent search with a certainty of the Elders: Judges and Officers.

Most adherents to a faith, will not deny their god, thus the ability for one who is a true worshiper of a strange god should be easy. secondly, one who worships in secret will be needed to be proven by witnesses to that person’s placement of another God before the National God YHWH.

Thrid in the case of Humanism, the idols of the heart, the Law of God dictates the types of humanism and self worship that incurs death by two or three witnesses; Due to the inability for one to often witness personal, or internal self worship, the death penalty in the physical world lacks, but God will judge.

In the case of one who would boldly, or presumptuously proclaim himself as god, a god, and voice in the ears of witnesses ones belief as being greater than YHWH and his rights more needful for him to follow publicly than YHWH’s Law. Then in the case of humanism, we may also find a death penalty in a Biblical society Governed by THE COMMON LAW of GOD.

Yet here is the slippery slope of law, only by the mouth of True undeniable facts and Evidence may this judgment be carried out by Lawful Judges and Officers of the people. For if others impression, opinion, thoughts, suspicions, prejudice, or hatred would over shadow the sin against the 2nd commandment and so the 1st, by ignoring the judgment clauses of 2 or 3 witnesses, a witness being a first hand account, as well as the diligent search of the mater, and the absolute proof of the violation, only in exception to the sinner’s own admission, then by the Lawful authorities transgression of such elements of the Lawful Judgment, those judges stand as violators of the same Commandments by there own selfish motives.

Consider the following in light of this contemplation of Israel’s 1st and 2nd Commandment explained by Ezekiel:

2Th_2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (1Cor_3:16-17; 1Cor_6:19; 2 Cor_6:16– Your Body is the temple)

2Th 2:5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

2Th 2:6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

2Th 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

2Th 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Not much different.

Eze_14:6 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.

Eze 14:7 For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to a prophet to enquire of him concerning me; I the LORD will answer him by myself:

Eze 14:8 And I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

Eze 14:9 And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.

Eze 14:10 And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeketh unto him;

Eze 14:11 That the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, saith the Lord GOD.

A People who are not a People

Did ye never read in the scriptures,

The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner:

this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken:

but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

Mat_21:42-44

In this time Israel exists as a Nation accourding to the promises of God spoken of throught the Law and the summarized by the prophet Jeremiah in Jer_31:35-36. That is the preserved of Israel as said by Isaiah are a Genos of people at a particular Gene-ration, the are the Gentiles, Nations, and or Ethnic people of focus in the exclusive New Covenant. As a Nation however, they lack one of the hallmark qualities all Nations posses: a Common culture or custom, a Common Law. Israel has truly become as the Curse in the Song of Moses warned because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters.:

Deu_32:18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.

Deu 32:19 And when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters.

Deu 32:20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.

Deu_32:21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.

This fact was prior spoken of 3 chapters prior of the portion we focused on in Deu_30:1-20 and Rom_10:1, as well this facet of Israel’s foolishness was also spoken of by Paul in Romans 10:19, which we covered in the introduction also, as Paul continued in his epilogue carried over from Chapter 9 which quoted the Song of Moses, via the prophet Hosea

Rom_9:25 As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.

Rom 9:26 And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.

This quote from Hos_1:9-10, Hos_2:23, is the key to understanding who the Gentiles of the New Testament focus are and how they dovetail in to the New Covenant according to Heb_8:8, and Jer_31:31.

(The Hebrew words used in Hosea as a name for the symbolicly disowned house of Israel is לא עמי LA-OMI H3818 (LA-Not+ OM-people+ I-my) was first referenced in the prior Song of Moses as בלא עם / B-With +LA-No + OM -People. Lo ammi is ‘not my people’ and with No People is one and the same entity, more easily seem in the Hebrew)And while for the last 2000 years the Blood of Christ has been offering a renewal of Covenant for this foolish nation, we in fulfillment of Paul’s epistle, Isaiah’s rebuke and Moses warning have been a disobedient and gainsaying people. A people who YHWH found who were not altogether seeking Him, and a people who He has manifest himself to who did not ask for him …THIS IS BECAUSE OF GOD’S LAW

The Stone of stumbling mentioned by Isaiah and forwarded again by Paul in Rom_9:32-33 Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumbling stone; In Moses’ song of the Rock which Israel forsook, in Isaiah’s time, and in the time of Paul Both the house of Judah and the House of Israel had stumbled, Judah at the Word made flesh and the diaspora od Israel at the Law, both of which was reconciled in the life of the Word made flesh, the Rock of Israel’s faith.

No matter what estimation you take: the Law and the King are a packaged deal. Either Jew or Gentile, raised in the Law or out of the Law, the stone of the New Covenant is the foundation of God’s Kingdom.

The two aspects of this one stone are undeniable in the Scripture and are more understood in the light of the knowledge of Joh_1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth…proclamation.

Isa_8:13 Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

Isa 8:14 And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Isa 8:15 And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.

Isa 8:16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.

Isa 8:17 And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.

and why was it a stumbling?

Isa_28:13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

Isa 28:14 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.

Isa 28:15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:

Isa 28:16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.

Who among us of the seed of Israel are ready to stop stumbling at the rock of offense? who is ready to stop heaping the scriptures precepts and lines one upon another that they cause us to fall backwards, be broken, snared and taken, who is ready to stop making lies our refuge? And allow the blood of Israel’s Rock to disanul the Covenant of death, the law of Sin and death Paul referenced at the starting point of the Roman’s Epilogue Ive so ardently been hinging upon.

Tyndale Rodgers and Coverdale Trans says: Isa 28:13 the LORD shall answer their stubborness.(stubbournes) (Command that may be commanded, bid that may be bidden, forbid that may be forbidden, keep back that may be kept back, here a little, there a little.) That they may go forth, fall…

The two great threats to Christian Israel are the very two aspects and definitions of the stone of stumbling and the Rock of offense, that is Grace and Law, or stated by John Grace and Truth, truth which is easily seen in

Psa_119:142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.

 

Our Grace in being forgiven of our sin stain, our covenant with sin and death, the law of sin and death undoubtedly is found in the Blood of Christ’s New Covenant:

Rom_5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Eph_2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

In being forgiven, in being made alive who do we yet stumble and fall? why are we yet broken?

Because we refuse to reconcile the foolishness of our Nation, we refuse to be God’s People, YHWH’s People and let him be our God as a Nation:

Deu 4:8 And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?

YHWH’s Law is the culture and custom missing from our Nation, from our Christian Nation who are rather foolish, unrighteous and at this time a People who are not a people, yet are a people who have such a rich, wise and righteous Culture available to them if they just simply would see the scriptural harmony of having there faith on Israels Rock:

The word of God made flesh, the rock who was smitten for us to forgive us and redeem us for smiting him.

NO KING BUT GOD’S KING, NO LAW BUT GOD’S LAW

And by this Introduction I hope to advance the reason why Israel needs redemption, by the blood of Christ through his grace; and why a redeemed people need God’s Law as it is the bed rock fondation of Kingdom.

for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. But if the ministration of death, written and engraved in stones, was glorious…which glory was to be done away:

… the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. 2 Corinthians 3:4-9

The concept taught by the apostle is a simple concept of Love, and it’s principle is the part of God’s Law which is generally unattached to Civil or Criminal Law of any given society, yet the concept or doctrine of Law it elementary as in any given culture their are those who love their societies rule of law, and truly have faith in the letter of every law. However, this doctrine should not be confused with the complexity of the Roman usage of ‘the spirit of the law’, which points to what the ‘true intention, or what was or is the actually safe guard of the law’; some use the Roman doctrine of ‘the spirit of the law’ as the color by with to hue God’s Law, this allows for violation of God’s law in it’s letter as to in some way maintain the greater good concept, or the more important intention of the law. With the Exception for the ensuence of the Love of YHWH’s God, there is is no other Spiritual doctrine of intent found in God’s Law and the keeping of it’s Letter, as Love is the intention of every commandment by the Laws Creator and should be the intent of it’s keepers:

…from his right hand went a fiery law for them.

Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words. Moses commanded us a law, even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob. Deu_33:2-4

Joh 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

Deu 30:15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;

Deu 30:16 In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

In all cases we are asked to Love the Law in it’s Spirit, it’s intention of Love, that is Life and good, yet if we view the Law of God as only a letter written on stone or paper our heart is not in the right place, and we have proof that we are not party to the new covenant.

These two approaches are summarized in Paul’s statement in

Rom 7:10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.

Rom 7:11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.

Rom 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

Rom 7:13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

Rom 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

The law insomuch, as it was given by the Spirit of YHWH God, can never be carnal or derived from flesh, the law of the living God in inherintly Spiritual, holy, just and good. It is man which is carnal flesh, which will natural die. In a civil and criminal application, the spiritual Judges must be men who are Spiritual, that is they Love God’s Law, yet the Israelite has two possitions towards the covenant Law, he may Love the law and be Spiritual, or he may hate the law by seeing it as just a Letter. Those prone to the Spirit will love God’s Law and Commandments and those prone to the flesh will never see the life ordained by the Law, the carnal will always look for the way to dis-annul the Letter, because it is the Letter which will kill them, either by literal death penalties or by repentance which will kill the flesh and the lust’s there by rendering them Spiritual, the flesh is fighting for it’s existence. Every Israelite stands at the threshold of God’s Law daily, and with ever choice we weigh in the balance of every choice, our estimation of the greatest commandment. which is all in all the same as the first of the 10 commandments.

As mentioned prior the first commandment is the operating law of all Common Law and the 2nd is linked to it at the nearest point. All violations of God’s Law are violations against the 1st commandment, even the summary of the 10 commandments given by Moses and forwarded by our Christ still are only violations of the first commandment:

Mar_12:31 The first (protos) of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

Mar 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. Deu 6:4

Mar 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. Lev_19:18

in finnishing Christ adds that for one to know this :

Thou art not far from the kingdom of God.

As the proto Law is for Israel to Love YHWH with heart mind and soul, we know that the under lying Covenant is being founded upon is the New Covenant which offers to place the Law of YHWH in to the same place as this Law as whell as the whole law. It is thus, that one may never keep the law with out the enactment of the new covenant faith. The New Covenant offers the Israelite of the house of Israel and Judah acceptance through the blood of Christ into the Love relationship with YHWH’s Law.

The having of No other God’s and of not serving any other God, is the Loving of God and his services, and His worship. By the letter of the law one may conclude that even an atheist or perhaps an agnostic may as well follow this command by not serving or worshiping another God, yet by recourse one may only keep this Law by loving it, and thereby loving the whole of YHWH’s Commandments and Law.

Thus the loving of one’s neighbor, which have been itemized as Laws which deal with civil relations are as well manifestations of Loving YHWH God and keeping His first commandment and His second. As many strange god’s and laws of strange god’s allow the dis-love of one’s neighbor, and as well allow the worship of other god’s beside the primary god’s of the strange religion’s law; yet the Law of the LORD God YHWH is Jealous and particular to YHWH Alone. Thus, by keeping any one of the law’s of God, from the least to the greatest, in our estimation that is, we show our Love for God and His Law, and we exercise His righteousness and Holiness.

If we are truly party to the New Covenant than the Love of God’s law in our heart, mind and soul is present, that is the Spirit of the Law, a Spirit which even Loves the Letter of the Law, which by transgression which is sin brings forth death.

Thus from hence forth in this study all Laws covered will fold up into the first commandment which is phrased in the negative:

The Regathering of the Tribes of Jacob

The subject of Biblical Common Law or Torah is a concept that has been discussed by this ministry more than I have kept track of, and it is a subject that for me personally governs my thoughts and actions from day to day, I am of course falable and I am by no means claiming perfection, but I am claiming that in every instance of life it is my goal to weigh my actions by YHWH’s standards of what we call right and wrong, or more biblically what YHWH calls Good and Evil, Righteousness and wickedness, Obedience and sin, it is the defining principle that which offers blessing or curse in this world and in that which is to come.

The concept of Biblical reality that I speak on so often is a combative measure, to engage the enmity of the flesh which resides in many of the people who believe them selves to be christian today which claim a full gospel faith, or a trust in the entire word of God; I combat those because it is their hypocritical view that claims faith, trust or belief in the bible as the infallible word of God to men but deny, negate, and attempt to disprove vast portions of the scriptural testament, by their so called faith.

It is often times that church goers are the most staunch in opposition to one who proclaims the biblically realistic Gospel. Turn to Isaiah 52 to see the proclamation:

Isa 52:6 Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.

Isa_52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

The Gospel Message is an immense message it is a message which tell’s YHWH’s people who are scattered through out the earth that their King Reigns!

It is a non diverse, non tolerant, non multicultural message!

The Truth of the Gospel is according to the Good news found in the scriptures that Israel’s God is KING, The father of Jesus the Christ Is the King of all the earth and no other! And as King, those of His Kingdom are governed by His Law. It is this law which tells the subjects of the Kingdom how to function, it tells them it’s awsome and deadly letter the punishment and judgment for sin and by it’s Loving Spirit the Benafit and Blessing offered by it’s perfection.

Yet in our day most so called Christians believe in a King which governs nothing but Spirit, intangible and un-realistic, a Kingdom only attainable in death ruled by a King who has no Law, but one which directly contradicts the very Spirit of the Person of God seen in the very first commandment believed to be abrogated by another gospel and another Jesus the son of a lawless God., which states clearly in the English IAM THE LORD THY GOD… THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER GOD’S BEFORE ME! And proclaimed by the 2nd commandment which forbids any form worship or service in worship to a physical thing other than The LORD, by adding I THE LORD AM A JELOUS GOD. The term LORD GOD is synonymous with the Hebrew title name YHWH which literally means He That Is that is HE THAT IS GOD or as our English Bible puts it I AM THAT I AM.

This personality of God is Jealous and his very memorial name proclaims that he is Ever living and unchanging.

If some wish to believe in a God that changes and abrogates his own morality and law that is their prerogative, and untimely their soul…its a free will, you have the choose who you will serve.

As for me I will serve YHWH the best I can by obeying his Kingship by obeying His Law, and striving to attain salvation in this life and that which is to come by seeking his Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven, that is by ever means possible to affect a change on this world to proclaim THE LORD GOD as the King and GOD’s Law as the Only true Law, no matter where that leads me personally, or as a head of my family, no matter how hard the course is to follow this mountain is to be climbed by our beautiful feet of redemption shod with the preperation of the Gospel Eph_6:15.

Paul put this quote in to context in Roman where the focus of the message is no different that of the rest of the scripture, and particularly those of whom Christ came according to the New Covenant, the house of Israel and Judah according Heb_8:8 and Jer_31:31 where he continues is epalogue saying

Rom 10:1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

Rom 10:2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

Rom 10:3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

He going on to validate the fact that by Christ the So of God’s New Covenant made in his blood the end of the sin stain upon israel is able to be ended by the manifestation of Christ in being the end means of of the laws perfection. And continuing on in teaching the primary law in operation which establishes the New Covenant in Christ’s blood as found in

Deu_30:1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,

Deu 30:2 And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;

Deu 30:3 That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.

YHWH tells the Gentilized scattered Israelite that

Deu 30:10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

Deu 30:11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.

And Paul concludes as with calling this section of God’s Perfect Law, a law which Paul says that if a man shall do those things he shall live by them THE WORD OF FAITH in saying:

Rom 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

Rom 10:7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)

Rom 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

And just as the proclamation of Isaiah was sent to the house of Israel and the Prophet Nahum sent to the house Judah who also proclaimed this Gospel in Nah_1:15

We are told in Rom 10:12 there is no difference between Judah and the Greek speaking dispersed house of Israel of whom Paul was writing to in Greek: for it is the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

Rom_10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

Rom 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

In describing those spoken of by Moses, Isaiah, Nahum, and now Paul says:

Rom 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Rom 10:18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

Hear Paul quotes the organic, and natural witness of the Heavens, which acts as the primary testament for those scattered people, Just as Jeremiah the prophet proclaimed in Jer_31:35 in summarizing the solemn feast of the Sabbath in Exodus 31 and mentioned by Nahum he says:

Psa 19:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Psa 19:2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

Psa 19:3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

Psa 19:4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

Psa 19:5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.

Psa 19:6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

Psa 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

Psa 19:8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

Psa 19:9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

Psa 19:10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

Psa 19:11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

Psa 19:12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

Psa 19:13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

Psa 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Rom_10:19 But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.

Rom 10:20 But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.

Rom 10:21 But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.

And as well the prophet Nahum discribes a portion of that peace brought by the Gospel or Good tidings, when he as prophet to Judah as Isaiah was to Israel

The regathering of the Tribes of Jacob is the very first concept needed in understanding the Biblical Common Law, the Law of God, because with out the establishment of the Tribes of Israel, the Law has very little application in National reality.

Isa 49:3 And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.

Isa 49:4 Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the LORD, and my work with my God.

Isa 49:5 And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.

Isa 49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

Isa 49:7 Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.

Isa 49:8 Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;

Isa 49:9 That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.

Lets start out in the Law:

Lev 25:23 The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.

Lev 25:24 And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land.

Lev 25:25 If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath sold away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold.

Rth 3:1 Then Naomi her mother in law said unto her, My daughter, shall I not seek rest for thee, that it may be well with thee?

Rth 3:2 And now is not Boaz of our kindred, with whose maidens thou wast? Behold, he winnoweth barley to night in the threshingfloor.

Rth 3:3 Wash thyself therefore, and anoint thee, and put thy raiment upon thee, and get thee down to the floor: but make not thyself known unto the man, until he shall have done eating and drinking.

Rth 3:4 And it shall be, when he lieth down, that thou shalt mark the place where he shall lie, and thou shalt go in, and uncover his feet, and lay thee down; and he will tell thee what thou shalt do.

Rth 3:5 And she said unto her, All that thou sayest unto me I will do.

Rth 3:6 And she went down unto the floor, and did according to all that her mother in law bade her.

Rth_3:7 And when Boaz had eaten and drunk, and his heart was merry, he went to lie down at the end of the heap of corn: and she came softly, and uncovered Th-GaL H1540 his feet,Me-Ro-GaLThH4772, and laid her down.

The word for uncover in normal GaL-Eh H1540 it is here in the feminine form Th-GaL, as the word for redeem is GAL H1350, the words are indicative of each other. This is also the word used in Lev_18:6 and 20 when dealing with unlawful uncovering and is the general word for the action: L-GaLTh ללות / GaLEh גּלה 1540 to uncover. The action of Gal is not in the focus of uncovering or covering as the word used in verse 9 in the phrase “near kinsman” is again an also GAL, but the idea of the Hebrew logic is gathered up into the idea of ‘kinship covering’ and I believe may be best described by the Gaelic custom of Tartan most know of from Scotland, I don’t think its a surprise that the Gaul’s or Gaelic people, also called Gaults/ Celts or Kelts ware a skirt named after them called a Kilt made of their family banner called a Tartan. Having a name strikingly in resemblance to the Hebrew Word GaL, consider also the Hebrew word for the (Tribe) banner or standard is DGaL דגלH1714, Just as the Kilt (GaLT) Tartan is a banner of/ standard of a family , the cloth skirt which men wear in all functions of family life, from Birth to Marriage to Battle to Death, the covering they have is the banner of their GAeLic family, their Kinsmen, those who they by Rights may Redeem.

In the days of Ruth the language indicates the same idea as that which was used by the less ancient GauLs, it was an important part of Israelite society, for to uncover a woman you must be willing to covered her with your kindred family. Much like the depleting custom of a woman taking the husband’s sir name or last name was common to our more modern grandparents in 2017, the Idea of patriarchal headship is key to the Israelite cultural heritage, and the two concepts are one in the same.

The Laws found in the scripture on the uncovering of nakedness are regulation that promote healthy growth of Israelite Christian Culture, which is bound in the Logic of God’s Law and thus the Law of Headship by Patriarchy, which is where Fathers rule their families by the fear of God; this aspect of fear is as well seen in the accompanying language of the portion of the skirt or covering which is specified by Ruth, that is the KNaF or edge, border. As commanded in Deu_22:12 where the command is found to hem a ribbon or thread of blue for the remembrance of YHWH’s Law, the edge of the skirt of an Israelite man was to represent the Law of YHWH; Interestingly enough in Rth_2:12 …YHWH God of Israel, under whose wings (KNaF) thou art come to trust. Ruth’s Trust or Faith is seen in her Lawful actions and personality of virtue, and this symbolism in Ruth’s actions are just as virtuous as Ruth seeking her place of Redemption in Boaz’s right of redemption, undoubtedly, Boaz’s family skirt was hemmed by the perfect redemptive law of YHWH, a Tartan every man should want as his family banner.

Rth 3:12 And now it is true that I am thy near kinsman: howbeit there is a kinsman nearer than I.

There is a simply Godly truth that Boaz knew, and that, despite the passion, despite the offer, despite the allure, despite the fact that no one may have known what could happen on this intoxicated harvest night except Boaz and Ruth and the justification that Boaz may have used ‘that he would most likely have been the lawful Redeemer of Ruth and as such would have had no repercussions for his action if he were to cover Ruth with his skirt that night’.

Rather Boaz had the prescience of mind which Paul taught in

2Ti_2:5 that: if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.

And that Law is found in this Numbers 27:

Num_27:8 And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a man die, and have no son, then ye shall cause his inheritance to pass unto his daughter.

Num 27:9 And if he have no daughter, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his brethren.

Num 27:10 And if he have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his father’s brethren.

Num 27:11 And if his father have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his kinsman that is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it: and it shall be unto the children of Israel a statute of judgment, as the LORD commanded Moses.

So it is that despite the temptation that may be easily seen in the Text, Boaz Passion for YHWH’s Law over rides his lust and even rational judgment which could have controlled him on the mater, a rational judgment which could have easily disregarded the Law and Word of YHWH.

Rth_3:13 Tarry this night, and it shall be in the morning, that if he will perform unto thee the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman’s part: but if he will not do the part of a kinsman to thee, then will I do the part of a kinsman to thee, as the LORD liveth: lie down until the morning.

THE PART OF THE KINSMAN / THE DUTY OF AN HUSBAND’S BROTHER

Deu_25:5 If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger: her husband’s brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty of an husband’s brother unto her.

Deu 25:6 And it shall be, that the firstborn which she beareth shall succeed in the name of his brother which is dead, that his name be not put outH4229 MaHEh G1813 of Israel.

Deu 25:7 And if the man like not to take his brother’s wife, then let his brother’s wife go up to the gate unto the elders, and say, My husband’s brother refuseth to raise up unto his brother a name in Israel, he will not perform the duty of my husband’s brother.

Deu 25:8 Then the elders of his city shall call him, and speak unto him: and if he stand to it, and say, I like not to take her;

Deu 25:9 Then shall his brother’s wife come unto him in the presence of the elders, and loose his shoe from off his foot, and spit in his face, and shall answer and say, So shall it be done unto that man that will not build up his brother’s house.

Deu 25:10 And his name shall be called in Israel, The house of him that hath his shoe loosed.

Rth_3:14 And she lay at his feet until the morning: and she rose up before one could know another. And he said, Let it not be known that a woman came into the floor.

Deu_16:18 Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment.

Accordingly, this law is the foundational structure of Israelite Government, that is the Headship of the Elders or old men, the Judges were taken from the Natural Heads of the people with an Officer or Scribe, Naturally the Head was an Elder men who had knowledge in YHWH’s Law and was honest and wise. These Elder Judges who were Heads of Families were Naturally kin to those who lived in Bethlehem, thus they sat at the literal Gate of Judgment and the matters of the jurisdiction was committed to those Old Men who would do the best adjudicating for their kinsmen.

Rth_4:3 And he said unto the kinsman/redeemer , Naomi, that is come again out of the country of Moab, selleth a parcel of land, which was our brother Elimelech’s:

Rth 4:4 And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it, redeem it: but if thou wilt not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know: for there is none to redeem it beside thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will redeem it.

Rth 4:5 Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance.

Deu_9:26 I prayed therefore unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, destroy H7843 not thy people and thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed through thy greatness, which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand.

Jdg_2:19 And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they returned, and corrupted H7843 themselves more than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down unto them; they ceased not from their own doings, nor from their stubborn way.

By the purely scriptural interpretation of the word ‘mar’, it seems safe to conclude that the kinsman of Boaz who is neared than he, was afraid that Ruth and Naomi would destroy or corrupt his inheritance, in the same way the

two examples offer above, this is because the kinsman of whom Boaz is speaking does not know the virtue of Ruth, and must account her to be removed and as such she may be one who may corrupt his inheritance by her Moabite practices, much how Lot was corrupted by his life in Sodom, and the distant Benjamites had corrupted them selves.

Rth 4:7 Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel.

Rth 4:8 Therefore the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy it for thee. So he drew off his shoe.

Rth 4:9 And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech’s, and all that was Chilion’s and Mahlon’s, of the hand of Naomi.

Rth_4:10 Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon (H4248 Sick), have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off Y-KRaTh /יכרתH3772 from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye are witnesses this day.

While the poetic connection is present in this text of Ruth in the Hebrew it is much to complex to explain to those who do not study Hebrew, yet in the Greek I am persuaded that the LXX translators saw this Rhyme of thought and expressed it in the Greek for it’s readers as well, for those of you studying along who like such study as my self I encourage you to explore the Hebrew and Greek verse and it’s awesome poetry.

Mahlon Son of Elimelech / the Sick son of God my King has been redeemed by a New Covenant cut by Boaz / Strength

The words of Boaz’s doings are different in language but the same in reason as Deu_25:6, in the case of the letter of the law it is to keep the name in the linage, yet Boaz is a spiritual man and as such it is evident by his expression as to the Spirit of the Law, that is the phrase Y-KRaTh which is the word used in the ‘making’ of a covenant throughout the Law, that is that the name of the dead be not covenanted among his brother, this is contained in the Idea of the language, and if we remember the name Elimelech means God is my King and Mahlon the husband of Ruth means Sick, thus the symbolism of Christ’s work is yet not lost in this Kinsman redemption done by Boaz who is redeeming the line of his fallen brother Elimelech and moving Ruth and her people back into the Covenant of Israel despite the Sickness which befell her and Naomi in the land of their captivity.

Rth 4:11 And all the people that were in the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The LORD make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Bethlehem:

Rth 4:12 And let thy house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, of the seed which the LORD shall give thee of this young woman.

Rth 4:13 So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son.

Rth 4:14 And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the LORD, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel.

Rth 4:15 And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him.

Rth 4:16 And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it.

Rth 4:17 And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of David.

Rth 4:18 Now these are the generations of Pharez: Pharez begat Hezron,

Rth 4:19 And Hezron begat Ram, and Ram begat Amminadab,

Rth 4:20 And Amminadab begat Nahshon, and Nahshon begat Salmon,

Rth 4:21 And Salmon begat Boaz, and Boaz begat Obed,

Rth 4:22 And Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat David.

With this story in mind consider the context given to us by the Apostle Paul the Benjamite:

Rom_6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Rom 6:17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

Rom 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

Rom 6:19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

Rom 6:20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

Rom 6:21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

Rom 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Rom_7:1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?

Rom 7:2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

Rom 7:3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

Rom 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Rom 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

Rom 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

The Redemptive power of Christ! If that is not the theme of the story of Ruth and the end of the Book of Judges I do not know what it is!

Redeemed by the blood of the lamb as the seed of Israel we are kinsman redeemed!

Ruth the friend the out cast of the removed of Benjamin was called to be the wife a sick son of God the king, and in the removed land of Moab no rest was found her or her pleasant mother in law Naomi, Yet after the death of her sick husband she bound herself to the pleasant remnant of the only thread she had to the inheritance of Israel. Ruth humbled herself as a servant to Naomi and worked out her salvation with fear and trembling before the forefather of our Lord and Christ because she knew that he was her redeemer! And in her humility and zeal she received the reward of her faith in action, she was married to another who would bring forth fruit and that fruit would raise up the tribes of Israel by her womb, by her womb we are told was the seed given a restorer of life, and that son the neighbors called Servant the son of Strength Boaz!

Continuing in the Book of Judges we pick up with the grim and painful story the Levite from Mt. Ephraim, his Concubine from Bethlehem-Judah and the queer men of the tribe of Benjamin.

 

In the prior chapters we read of Micah who was of Mt. Ephraim and his idols who also gat him a Levite named Johnathan who was also from Bethlehem-Judah; it is undoubted that this story possesses a Realistic symbology, a prophetic story wrapped up in the lives of these real live people. It should be known that Mt. Ephraim was the birth place of Jeroboam son of Nebat, and the future capitol city of the Gentile / Heathenized 10 Tribe House of Northern Israel called Samaria(1Ki_11:26, 1Ki_12:25); likewise, Bethlehem – Judah was the birth place of King David of the Southern House of Judah (1Sa_17:12) who was by Grace the rightful King of all 12 Tribes of the Kingdom of Israel, Not to mention Bethlehem was the Birth place of David’s Lord, the Messiah Jesu(s) Christ (Mat_2:1) !

 

Thus these 2 locations are of very important significance, as well the tribe of Benjamin is also of no small significance, as the first anointed King of united Israel was King Saul of Benjamin (1Sa_9:21), as well the tribe of Benjamin was joined quickly with the tribe of Judah to form the House of Judah after Israel’s civil wars1Ki_12:21, 1Ch_12:16, like wise Benjamin was the only Tribe named along with Judah before and after the Babylonian Captivity (Ezr_10:9, Neh_11:4), and of whom the returning which made up the population of Judea (Judah) in the time of Christ, explaining the name ‘Jew’ or ‘Judean’ found in the new testament English scriptures (Act_21:39, Rom_11:1), as the term was referencing one who lived in the land of the House of Judah yet being from any tribe, yet primarily of Judah and Benjamin.

 

 

Jdg_19:1 And it came to pass in those days, when there was no king in Israel, that there was a certain Levite sojourning on the side of mount Ephraim, who took to him a concubine out of Bethlehemjudah.

 

Jdg 19:2 And his concubine played the whore against him, and went away from him unto her father’s house to Bethlehemjudah, and was there four whole months.

 

Jdg 19:3 And her husband arose, and went after her, to speak friendly unto her, and to bring her again, having his servant with him, and a couple of asses: and she brought him into her father’s house: and when the father of the damsel saw him, he rejoiced to meet him. (Lev_19:20)

 

Jdg 19:4 And his father in law, the damsel’s father, retained him; and he abode with him three days: so they did eat and drink, and lodged there.

 

Jdg 19:5 And it came to pass on the fourth day, when they arose early in the morning, that he rose up to depart: and the damsel’s father said unto his son in law, Comfort thine heart with a morsel of bread, and afterward go your way.

 

Jdg 19:6 And they sat down, and did eat and drink both of them together: for the damsel’s father had said unto the man, Be content, I pray thee, and tarry all night, and let thine heart be merry.

 

Jdg 19:7 And when the man rose up to depart, his father in law urged him: therefore he lodged there again.

 

Jdg 19:8 And he arose early in the morning on the fifth day to depart: and the damsel’s father said, Comfort thine heart, I pray thee. And they tarried until afternoon, and they did eat both of them.

 

Jdg 19:9 And when the man rose up to depart, he, and his concubine, and his servant, his father in law, the damsel’s father, said unto him, Behold, now the day draweth toward evening, I pray you tarry all night: behold, the day groweth to an end, lodge here, that thine heart may be merry; and to morrow get you early on your way, that thou mayest go home.

 

Jdg 19:10 But the man would not tarry that night, but he rose up and departed, and came over against Jebus, which is Jerusalem; and there were with him two asses saddled, his concubine also was with him.

 

Jdg 19:11 And when they were by Jebus, the day was far spent; and the servant said unto his master, Come, I pray thee, and let us turn in into this city of the Jebusites, and lodge in it.

 

Jdg_19:12 And his master said unto him, We will not turn aside hither into the city of a stranger, that is not of the children of Israel; we will pass over to Gibeah.

 

Jdg 19:13 And he said unto his servant, Come, and let us draw near to one of these places to lodge all night, in Gibeah, or in Ramah.

 

Jdg 19:14 And they passed on and went their way; and the sun went down upon them when they were by Gibeah, which belongeth to Benjamin.

 

Jdg 19:15 And they turned aside thither, to go in and to lodge in Gibeah: and when he went in, he sat him down in a street of the city: for there was no man that took them into his house to lodging.

 

Jdg 19:16 And, behold, there came an old man from his work out of the field at even, which was also of mount Ephraim; and he sojourned in Gibeah: but the men of the place were Benjamites.

 

Jdg 19:17 And when he had lifted up his eyes, he saw a wayfaring man in the street of the city: and the old man said, Whither goest thou? and whence comest thou?

 

Jdg 19:18 And he said unto him, We are passing from Bethlehemjudah toward the side of mount Ephraim; from thence am I: and I went to Bethlehemjudah, but I am now going to the house of the LORD; and there is no man that receiveth me to house.

 

Jdg 19:19 Yet there is both straw and provender for our asses; and there is bread and wine also for me, and for thy handmaid, and for the young man which is with thy servants: there is no want of any thing.

 

Jdg 19:20 And the old man said, Peace be with thee; howsoever let all thy wants lie upon me; only lodge not in the street.

Jdg 19:22 Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.

 

Jdg 19:23 And the man, the master of the house, went out unto them, and said unto them, Nay, my brethren, nay, I pray you, do not so wickedly; seeing that this man is come into mine house, do not this folly.

 

Jdg 19:24 Behold, here is my daughter a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good unto you: but unto this man do not so vile a thing.

 

Jdg 19:25 But the men would not hearken to him: so the man took his concubine, and brought her forth unto them; and they knew her, and abused her all the night until the morning: and when the day began to spring, they let her go.

Jdg 19:28 And he said unto her, Up, and let us be going. But none answered. Then the man took her up upon an ass, and the man rose up, and gat him unto his place.

 

Jdg 19:29 And when he was come into his house, he took a knife, and laid hold on his concubine, and divided her, together with her bones, into twelve pieces, and sent her into all the coasts of Israel.

 

Jdg 19:30 And it was so, that all that saw it said, There was no such deed done nor seen from the day that the children of Israel came up out of the land of Egypt unto this day: consider of it, take advice, and speak your minds.

 

 

Jdg_20:1 Then all the children of Israel went out, and the congregation was gathered together as one man, from Dan even to Beersheba, with the land of Gilead, unto the LORD in Mizpeh.

 

Jdg 20:2 And the chief of all the people, even of all the tribes of Israel, presented themselves in the assembly of the people of God, four hundred thousand footmen that drew sword.

 

Jdg 20:3 (Now the children of Benjamin heard that the children of Israel were gone up to Mizpeh.) Then said the children of Israel, Tell us, how was this wickedness?

 

Jdg 20:4 And the Levite, the husband of the woman that was slain, answered and said, I came into Gibeah that belongeth to Benjamin, I and my concubine, to lodge.

 

Jdg 20:5 And the men of Gibeah rose against me, and beset the house round about upon me by night, and thought to have slain me: and my concubine have they forced, that she is dead.

 

Jdg 20:6 And I took my concubine, and cut her in pieces, and sent her throughout all the country of the inheritance of Israel: for they have committed lewdness and folly in Israel.

 

Jdg 20:7 Behold, ye are all children of Israel; give here your advice and counsel.

 

Jdg 20:8 And all the people arose as one man, saying, We will not any of us go to his tent, neither will we any of us turn into his house.

 

Jdg 20:9 But now this shall be the thing which we will do to Gibeah; we will go up by lot against it;

 

Jdg 20:10 And we will take ten men of an hundred throughout all the tribes of Israel, and an hundred of a thousand, and a thousand out of ten thousand, to fetch victual for the people, that they may do, when they come to Gibeah of Benjamin, according to all the folly that they have wrought in Israel.

 

Jdg 20:11 So all the men of Israel were gathered against the city, knit together as one man.

 

Jdg 20:12 And the tribes of Israel sent men through all the tribe of Benjamin, saying, What wickedness is this that is done among you?

 

Jdg 20:13 Now therefore deliver us the men, the children of Belial, which are in Gibeah, that we may put them to death, and put away evil from Israel. But the children of Benjamin would not hearken to the voice of their brethren the children of Israel:

 

(Deu_13:11 And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you.

 

Deu 13:12 If thou shalt hear say in one of thy cities, which the LORD thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying,

 

Deu 13:13 Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known;

 

Deu 13:14 Then shalt thou enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you;

 

Deu 13:15 Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.

 

Deu 13:16 And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the LORD thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again.

 

Deu 13:17 And there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine hand: that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and shew thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers;

 

Deu 13:18 When thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the LORD thy God.)

 

 

Jdg 20:14 But the children of Benjamin gathered themselves together out of the cities unto Gibeah, to go out to battle against the children of Israel.

 

Jdg 20:15 And the children of Benjamin were numbered at that time out of the cities twenty and six thousand men that drew sword, beside the inhabitants of Gibeah, which were numbered seven hundred chosen men.

 

Jdg 20:16 Among all this people there were seven hundred chosen men lefthanded; every one could sling stones at an hair breadth, and not miss.

 

Jdg 20:17 And the men of Israel, beside Benjamin, were numbered four hundred thousand men that drew sword: all these were men of war.

 

Jdg 20:18 And the children of Israel arose, and went up to the house of God, and asked counsel of God, and said, Which of us shall go up first to the battle against the children of Benjamin? And the LORD said, Judah shall go up first.

 

Jdg 20:19 And the children of Israel rose up in the morning, and encamped against Gibeah.

 

Jdg 20:20 And the men of Israel went out to battle against Benjamin; and the men of Israel put themselves in array to fight against them at Gibeah.

 

Jdg 20:21 And the children of Benjamin came forth out of Gibeah, and destroyed down to the ground of the Israelites that day twenty and two thousand men.

 

Jdg 20:22 And the people the men of Israel encouraged themselves, and set their battle again in array in the place where they put themselves in array the first day.

 

Jdg 20:23 (And the children of Israel went up and wept before the LORD until even, and asked counsel of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up again to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother? And the LORD said, Go up against him.)

 

Jdg 20:24 And the children of Israel came near against the children of Benjamin the second day.

 

Jdg 20:25 And Benjamin went forth against them out of Gibeah the second day, and destroyed down to the ground of the children of Israel again eighteen thousand men; all these drew the sword.

 

Jdg 20:26 Then all the children of Israel, and all the people, went up, and came unto the house of God, and wept, and sat there before the LORD, and fasted that day until even, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.

 

Jdg 20:27 And the children of Israel enquired of the LORD, (for the ark of the covenant of God was there in those days,

 

Jdg 20:28 And Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, stood before it in those days,) saying, Shall I yet again go out to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother, or shall I cease? And the LORD said, Go up; for to morrow I will deliver them into thine hand.

 

Jdg 20:29 And Israel set liers in wait round about Gibeah.

 

Jdg 20:30 And the children of Israel went up against the children of Benjamin on the third day, and put themselves in array against Gibeah, as at other times.

 

Jdg 20:31 And the children of Benjamin went out against the people, and were drawn away from the city; and they began to smite of the people, and kill, as at other times, in the highways, of which one goeth up to the house of God, and the other to Gibeah in the field, about thirty men of Israel.

 

Jdg 20:32 And the children of Benjamin said, They are smitten down before us, as at the first. But the children of Israel said, Let us flee, and draw them from the city unto the highways.

 

Jdg 20:33 And all the men of Israel rose up out of their place, and put themselves in array at Baaltamar: and the liers in wait of Israel came forth out of their places, even out of the meadows of Gibeah.

 

Jdg 20:34 And there came against Gibeah ten thousand chosen men out of all Israel, and the battle was sore: but they knew not that evil was near them.

 

Jdg 20:35 And the LORD smote Benjamin before Israel: and the children of Israel destroyed of the Benjamites that day twenty and five thousand and an hundred men: all these drew the sword.

 

Jdg 20:36 So the children of Benjamin saw that they were smitten: for the men of Israel gave place to the Benjamites, because they trusted unto the liers in wait which they had set beside Gibeah.

 

Jdg 20:37 And the liers in wait hasted, and rushed upon Gibeah; and the liers in wait drew themselves along, and smote all the city with the edge of the sword.

 

Jdg 20:38 Now there was an appointed sign between the men of Israel and the liers in wait, that they should make a great flame with smoke rise up out of the city.

 

Jdg 20:39 And when the men of Israel retired in the battle, Benjamin began to smite and kill of the men of Israel about thirty persons: for they said, Surely they are smitten down before us, as in the first battle.

 

Jdg 20:40 But when the flame began to arise up out of the city with a pillar of smoke, the Benjamites looked behind them, and, behold, the flame of the city ascended up to heaven.

 

Jdg 20:41 And when the men of Israel turned again, the men of Benjamin were amazed: for they saw that evil was come upon them.

 

Jdg 20:42 Therefore they turned their backs before the men of Israel unto the way of the wilderness; but the battle overtook them; and them which came out of the cities they destroyed in the midst of them.

 

Jdg 20:43 Thus they inclosed the Benjamites round about, and chased them, and trode them down with ease over against Gibeah toward the sunrising.

 

Jdg 20:44 And there fell of Benjamin eighteen thousand men; all these were men of valour.

 

Jdg 20:45 And they turned and fled toward the wilderness unto the rock of Rimmon: and they gleaned of them in the highways five thousand men; and pursued hard after them unto Gidom, and slew two thousand men of them.

 

Jdg 20:46 So that all which fell that day of Benjamin were twenty and five thousand men that drew the sword; all these were men of valour.

 

Jdg 20:47 But six hundred men turned and fled to the wilderness unto the rock Rimmon, and abode in the rock Rimmon four months.

 

Jdg 20:48 And the men of Israel turned again upon the children of Benjamin, and smote them with the edge of the sword, as well the men of every city, as the beast, and all that came to hand: also they set on fire all the cities that they came to.

 

Jdg_21:1 Now the men of Israel had sworn in Mizpeh, saying, There shall not any of us give his daughter unto Benjamin to wife.

 

Jdg 21:2 And the people came to the house of God, and abode there till even before God, and lifted up their voices, and wept sore;

 

Jdg 21:3 And said, O LORD God of Israel, why is this come to pass in Israel, that there should be to day one tribe lacking in Israel?

 

Jdg 21:4 And it came to pass on the morrow, that the people rose early, and built there an altar, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings.

 

Jdg 21:5 And the children of Israel said, Who is there among all the tribes of Israel that came not up with the congregation unto the LORD? For they had made a great oath concerning him that came not up to the LORD to Mizpeh, saying, He shall surely be put to death.

 

Jdg 21:6 And the children of Israel repented them for Benjamin their brother, and said, There is one tribe cut off from Israel this day.

 

Jdg 21:7 How shall we do for wives for them that remain, seeing we have sworn by the LORD that we will not give them of our daughters to wives?

 

Jdg 21:8 And they said, What one is there of the tribes of Israel that came not up to Mizpeh to the LORD? And, behold, there came none to the camp from Jabeshgilead to the assembly.

 

Jdg 21:9 For the people were numbered, and, behold, there were none of the inhabitants of Jabeshgilead there.

 

Jdg 21:10 And the congregation sent thither twelve thousand men of the valiantest, and commanded them, saying, Go and smite the inhabitants of Jabeshgilead with the edge of the sword, with the women and the children.

 

Jdg 21:11 And this is the thing that ye shall do, Ye shall utterly destroy every male, and every woman that hath lain by man.

 

Jdg 21:12 And they found among the inhabitants of Jabeshgilead four hundred young virgins, that had known no man by lying with any male: and they brought them unto the camp to Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan.

 

Jdg 21:13 And the whole congregation sent some to speak to the children of Benjamin that were in the rock Rimmon, and to call peaceably unto them.

 

Jdg 21:14 And Benjamin came again at that time; and they gave them wives which they had saved alive of the women of Jabeshgilead: and yet so they sufficed them not.

 

Jdg 21:15 And the people repented them for Benjamin, because that the LORD had made a breach in the tribes of Israel.

 

Jdg 21:16 Then the elders of the congregation said, How shall we do for wives for them that remain, seeing the women are destroyed out of Benjamin?

 

Jdg 21:17 And they said, There must be an inheritance for them that be escaped of Benjamin, that a tribe be not destroyed out of Israel.

 

Jdg 21:18 Howbeit we may not give them wives of our daughters: for the children of Israel have sworn, saying, Cursed be he that giveth a wife to Benjamin.

 

Jdg 21:19 Then they said, Behold, there is a feast of the LORD in Shiloh yearly in a place which is on the north side of Bethel, on the east side of the highway that goeth up from Bethel to Shechem, and on the south of Lebonah.

 

Jdg 21:20 Therefore they commanded the children of Benjamin, saying, Go and lie in wait in the vineyards;

 

Jdg 21:21 And see, and, behold, if the daughters of Shiloh come out to dance in dances, then come ye out of the vineyards, and catch you every man his wife of the daughters of Shiloh, and go to the land of Benjamin.

 

Jdg 21:22 And it shall be, when their fathers or their brethren come unto us to complain, that we will say unto them, Be favourable unto them for our sakes: because we reserved not to each man his wife in the war: for ye did not give unto them at this time, that ye should be guilty.

 

Jdg 21:23 And the children of Benjamin did so, and took them wives, according to their number, of them that danced, whom they caught: and they went and returned unto their inheritance, and repaired the cities, and dwelt in them.

 

Jdg 21:24 And the children of Israel departed thence at that time, every man to his tribe and to his family, and they went out from thence every man to his inheritance.

 

Jdg 21:25 In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.
