Fulfilled Part 4

…Repent ye, and Believe the Gospel.

It is to this first statement our last message and this message shall be devoted, as well as that which shall encompass the rest of this series, that is ” The time is fulfilled”, in part 3 the focus was upon the fulfillment, as will the beginning of this message be as it is tied in to the aspect of the time being fulfilled.

The Question which was stressed in the last part was that of ” What was a Biblically minded person living in the land of Judah, hearing the message of the Gospel as expounded by John the Baptist or of Christ, what was it that they, by reading the Law and the Prophets had anticipated when Christ spoke this our opening statement?”

What was the Good-Message? It was the good- placment, the straightening or leveling in preparation of the roadway, which was found in the Coming Christ Who proclaimed him self to be in Joh_14:6 the way, the truth, and the life and who as well boldly stated in the context of the Chapter no man can come to the Father but by him, the road way to God. This was according to the prophecy given by Malachi 3, Isaiah 40 directly seated upon the same context of the way found in Exo_23:20-33: this Way easily seen as the Law and Word of YHWH as mentioned time again as such through out the Torah of YHWH. It was this Way which was codified at the hand of Moses yet was in every jot and stroke the written cognition of Judgment found in the person of God. As well both aspects of Kingdom establishment found in this portion of Exodus takes precedents as the base of understanding the message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, that is a literal national homeland or country and 2 one which is Governed by God’s Law given from Heaven to establish a literal Kingdom of Heaven on Earth.

This Way which the Host of Israel shall march upon will lead to conflict, it will lead to spiritual warfare, the foundations of this Kingdom will dispossess the inhabitants of the Land whose iniquity will be fulfilled in due time according to the Gospel delivered to Abraham and to his seed, his nations and his kings, chosen as a holy race according to 1pe_2:9, the redeemed of the son’s of Adam through the Ethneh of Abraham, reconciled in the regathering of the tribes of Israel under and unto one Shepard according to the words of the prophets and of the Law, and to those who are called according to this purpose and Salvation even unto eternal life in His Son (Rom_8:28; 2Ti_1:9; 2Pe_1:3)

I hope that while this prelude to the message in forecast with the knowledge of Christ, whose glory is indeed once it is known, is hard to conceal, I pray it was to this hope it was understood by the last message, that to those men who heard the Gospel’s proclamation in the days of Christ and John this was an anticipation relayed by the scriptures.

We now move on to this son of David and foreseen King of the Kingdom, the very heir of Abraham’s pro-Evangelion, the fore-Gospel, the basis which the Gospel came upon according to Gal_3:8.

In the prior message and comipation of Scriptures a Septuagint /LXX traslation of Isa 9:6-7 was Considered:

For a child was born to us; a son was given to us, of whom the sovereignty became upon his shoulder; and his name is called, Messenger of great counsel, wonderful, counselor, God’s mightyG2478 potentate, ruler of peace, father of the coming age.

For I will bring peace upon the rulers, and his health.

And great is his sovereignty, and of his peace there is no end upon the throne of David, and his kingdomG932 to set it up and to take hold in judgment; even with righteousness from the present and into the ages. The zeal of the lord of Hosts shall do these things.

(It was pointed out that isxoros / ισχυροςG2478 is the Greek word for strength or power in Gen_32:28 when Jacob’s name was changed to Israel when he prevailed against the angel)

 

The anticipation of this Kingdom proclaimed by the Gospel was a re institution of Exodus 19, as the disciples of Christ knew was the end result of of the Coming King of Israel as recorded and proclaimed by the Ambassador Luke was a kingdom rule:

Luk_1:33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

and after all the preaching and the resurrection Luke tells us the disciple yet anticipated this literal fulfillment :

Act_1:3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

Act 1:4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he,ye have heard of me.

Act 1:5For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

Act 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

Act 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

This anticipation was no doubt caused by the former sited scriptures and more, as well as by Christ’s own testimony Luke as records:

Luk_22:29-30And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;

That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

The Disciples did not interpret the Scriptures in a overly fleshly way as some may ignorantly or prejudicly suppose, rather they, as we, should take our Christ and His Word at face value, literally. It does not take a bible scholar to see the King, and Kingdom having it’s very existence in the thrown of David a kingdom of Israel’s united 12 tribes…literally.

Is it not in Isa_49:3-8 which promised that in Israel, I will be glorified… and that Christ, Messiah the Servant was formed from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of YHWH, and my God shall be my strength?

Of whom YHWH proclaimed: It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

Isa 49:7 Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.

Isa 49:8 Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages

We had read in the past compilations some of the prophecies which indicates the time of this fulfillment, it is obvious from both John and Christ’s proclamation that

this time had come, and that indeed the Kingdom was at hand.

It was as well to all the promises which was found in the Gospel of the Kingdom, which the Prophet Daniel spoke and sat his prophecies upon as well, Daniel was a prophet who was a captive in the land of Chaldea of the son’s of Judah, when the King Nebuchadnezzar king of what was one of the most vast and powerful kingdoms on earth YHWH sent a dream: And to Daniel the prophet and servant of YHWH was the interpretation given, it was and is a prophecy of much controversy, and while many will not except this explanation of this interpretation, and this I know already, it is I believe the irrefutable foundation of the time of fulfillment Christ in Mark 1:15 Exclaimed:

Dan_2:31 Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible.

Dan 2:32 This image’s head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,

Dan 2:33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.

Dan 2:34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.

Dan 2:35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them:

and the stone that smote the image

became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

Dan 2:36 This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king.

Dan 2:37 Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.

Dan_2:38 And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold.

Dan 2:39 And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.

Dan 2:40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.

Dan 2:41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.

Dan 2:42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.

Dan 2:43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

Dan_2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

Dan_2:45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

 

Many interpretations of the meaning of this stone cut with out hands is proposed, yet the Law of YHWH tells us about the nature of this kingdom Daniel saw which was cut or broke from a mountain, yet it self after crushing the feet of the last kingdom grows it self in to a mountain it self!

 

Exo_20:25 And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.

Deu_27:5 And there shalt thou build an altar unto the LORD thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt not lift up any iron tool upon them.

 

This kingdom is representative of the same Exo_19:5-6 Kingdom of Priests and Holy Nation.

The Ambassador of this very kingdom of God and Heaven, Peter, told the strangers and pilgrims scattered through out the kingdom’s of the earth, yet elect and foreknown of God the Father called, to be thus:

1Pe_2:4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,

1Pe 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

1Pe 2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

1Pe 2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,

1Pe 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

1Pe 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

1Pe_2:10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. (This of course as a direct quote of Hos_1:9-10, Hos_2:23 ; Rom_9:25-26, Rom_11:30)

This very Nation, that is the Holy Ethnicity, whom God had foreknown and promised to our Father Abraham in the pro-evangel, that is by the singular seed of Christ (Gal_3:16) born of the seed of a woman (Gen_3:15), the WORD made flesh, the Nations and Kings to proceed from Abraham’s literal loins would be blessed and as a result would as well be a blessing to all families and peoples upon the earth just as promised in :

Deu_4:5-8

Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments… Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.

Deu 4:7 For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for?

Deu 4:8 And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?

The Answer to this question asked in Deuteronomy 4:7-8, seen in 1 Peter, the answer is none other than Israel when sanctified through of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ. It was unto this glorious hope the kingdom became at hand through the Coming of the Way, the Truth and the Life the one foretold to have the power to raise up not only his own slain body, but to be the example of the tabernacle of David which had fallen, raised to unite the Kingdom once again to a lively hope of a kingdom of God, a Common-Wealth of Israel, A Citizenship which surpasses borders and life, beyond death a citizenship acknowledged in the thrown room of the Father YHWH God forevermore.

It was to this point the pharisees like the churches of our modern day choose to ignore, the lesson all Christians and members of the church in particular and collective should acknowledge before they ever attempt to understand any prophetic utterance or insight on eschatology or end time is Luk_17:20, this lesson is a rebuke to the future minded bible readers who even attempt to know an inkling about end times prophecy before they understand the first place of the kingdom prior described in Exo_19:6, as found in the kingdom of priest’s and holy nation, principles which are so natural, logical and realistic pervade the subject beyond the proposed spiritualism found in most understandings of God’s Kingdom:

Luk_17:20 And when he (Christ) was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

Luk_17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for,

behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Luk 17:22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.

Luk 17:23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.

Luk 17:24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other partunder heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

Is that not clear enough so satiate our minds Christians! The Son of God, the Father of the ages to come has clearly told us to get up off of our hands, waiting in anticipation for a sign of His Coming, following the wind of every doctrine and spirit of the end times and acknowledge simplicity of the fact that Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein. Luk_18:17

Here is a very interesting point on this subject: The Greek word dexhe-tai / δεξηται translated here receive only occurs in 6 verses of the whole bible including this one: Mat_10:14; Mat_18:5; Mar_9:37; Mar_10:15; Luk_9:48.

In every instance the context of the word translated receive, is in reference to ‘taking care of’, NOT to receive LIKE one, as in ‘to be like a child, infant or baby’ but rather to receive as you would take up a child in your arms or care! That is the idea of taking up the kingdom into your care, as you would receive a child so must you receive or take care of the Kingdom of God. A revolutionary light on the Idea of why such children as Christ received into His arms were likened unto the kingdom… THEY ARE THE KINGDOM, the children of the Covenant, the hope of a future Generation.

This stone has every potential to become a mountain in Christ.

Is it then any wonder that from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force? Mat_11:12

If you have not understood how this verse had a possibility in the world now perhaps it’s understanding is opened

?

Just a few verses down Christ asks this question alike:

Mat_11:16But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows (friends),

Mat 11:17And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented.

The context is followed in Mat_11:20 :

Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done,

because they repented not.

 

No matter how the message was given, in happiness or in sadness, it would not be received, they will not be happy with the message of Repentance, to understand the Kingdom primary place, they instead look here and there, but never believe it is repentance which comes from within.

Anticipation Part 3

…Repent ye, and Believe the Gospel.

The message or evangelism of the kingdom by repentance was discussed in the last study, showing that which was spoke by the Law and prophets as the message which was proclaimed by John the Messenger or Angel according to Mal_3:1 and Exo_23:20, He was the voice of one crying in the wilderness preparing the straight way of the Lord, yet John was not that Way he was rather the leveler, the straightener of the landscape making way for the straight path of Christ, who directly proclaimed himself as the Way the Truth and the Life and that NO one comes to the Father but by Him.

It hopefully was conveyed and understood that John’s message of repentance and of baptism came from the scriptures prior to John, from the Law and prophets before him, that was his validation for truth, in this way John spoke with certainty that what he spoke was accurate, and we as well only when we speak in accordance with that which is validated before hand know that we speak according to the Truth of the Gospel, the Good or straight message. Even in the coming of Christ this was a crucial point, and in the coming of the Kingdom, the want to acknowledge if one truly was beholden to the Gospel was to try it by the scriptures, to this point spoke the LORD YHWH from the time he reveled himself to the sons of Adam, from the time the subtle Serpent in Gen 3:1 spoke according to the command of God yet contrary to YHWH’s directives in what God required for obedience.

To the same point Moses spoke concerning those who claim to be prophets or dreamers of dreams, those who give signs and wonders that actually happen, yet they proclaim a message that is contrary to the Way and ways of YHWH:

Deu_13:4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.

Deu_13:1-5 And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee. (Exo_23:20-26)

As well Isaiah summarizes the same sentiment in:

Isa_8:16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.

Isa_8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

It is imperative that repentance according to the word of God, the Law of God, and the testimonies of God are ascertained in a concept of mind, that is a mind change, a repentance according to the scriptures. If we think that in any way the Life and Truth of Christ, that which we may call the Gospel is contrary to the least of scriptures…It is another Gospel and another Jesus, another Christ and another Kingdom we are looking for.

If the validation of the scriptures supports John son of Zechariah the Baptist as the messenger of the Way of Christ, and that messenger is represented in the words of the supporting prophets and the Law, then the Way truth and life of Christ is the same way which brought Israel out of Egypt, a way of faith and trust in YHWH to lead them to a kingdom they would subdue according to the promise given to Abraham as well as according to the iniquity of the inhabitants of the land of Canaan Gen_15:16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full. which was according to the curse of Canaan Gen_9:25 . Yet in conjunction with this way which lead to the promised land, this kingdom of God, was the Way which lead to the governance of this Kingdom and promised land, a Way steeped in repentance according to the Law of God Codified by Moses for a National Law to rule the Nation of Israel, this was YHWH’s very own cognition of judgment written into a code of legislation, a Law to rule a Kingdom, a government of His people, by His People and for His people, which keeps HIM as the focus of the Kingdom, thus A kingdom of God, ruled by the dictates of Heaven, from whence God Spoke to, and in

Deu_4:35 Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him. Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee: and upon earth he shewed thee his great fire; and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the fire. And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt.

And in

Exo_20:22 And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.

Thus this Kingdom of Israel, to be ruled by YHWH’s Law was a kingdom of Heaven upon Earth,

Deu_11:21 That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.

 

Or as our Lord Christ teaches his disciple, that is those who bind up YHWH’s Laws and testimonies as there Light, we pray Mat_6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. and this we pray before we even ask for our daily bread…

Deu_11:22 For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him;

Deu 11:23 Then will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves.

The way of the Gospel of Christ is the same way as Exodus 23:20, it is a way to a Kingdom, it is the way, the truth and the Life set by example of the King, the very Law made flesh, the Word made flesh, the truth of God’s commandments, words, and Law made flesh which is the road, the way, the straight path messaged by John, proclaimed as the Gospel.

Thus it is both aspects that are in need of focus, that of the Kingdom as a National home land or country, and that of a Kingdom made up of those who are subject to the king and marching upon the Way which leads to the Father and the King of all!

So when Christ proclaimed that the time was fulfilled and the Kingdom was at hand what fulfillment was he referring to that the people who believer the Scriptures would acknowledge?

We may safely conclude with the prophetic psalms of David or of the prophets to show the place of the anticipations of a person awaiting the kingdom come in the days of Christ, the biblical impact is important.

THE DOMINION MANDATE

IS

THE BASIS OF THE KINGDOM

…Be fruitful and multiply…

As said plenty of time before, the Dominion Mandate is the foundation of Adam’s son’s place in the world, it shows us primarily that dominion of governance is a blessed state and it is always accompanied by fruitfulness and multiplicity:

So God created ADaM in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion… Gen_1:26-28

To this dominion was the same made to Noah and his heirs in Gen_9:1 ;

In continuation the first time this Dominion is associated with the word King is in:

Gen_17:6..thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.

So here is where the roots of Dominion are by Faith an anticipation of a Kingdom on account of nations and kings coming from Abram now called Abraham. It should also be noticed for future compilations that Abraham is promised to be increased into nations and kings:

LXX 17:6 And I will increaseG837 you exceedingly exceedingly. And I will establish you for nations;G1484 and kingsG935 from you will come forth.

There is no place in this statement for Spiritual sons of Abraham, rather in both the Hebrew and the great a very simple Reality of agriculture is promised, with out need of a spiritual interpretation, that is from this Father of Fruitfulness, Abraham, will come literal seed, and literal children, which will become an Ethneh or a Ethnically related people by a common father “Abraham”, a race of common origin which will have Kings (MaLeKIM in the Hebrew or Basileis in the Greek-plurals).

THE PRO-GOSPEL of ABRAHAM

This is important because this portion of Scripture to Abraham is by extension, what Paul identifies as part of what is called the Gospel in Gal_3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the nations through faith, preached before the gospelG4283 (literally: pro-evanggelisato / προ-ευηγγελισατο )unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. accourding to Gen_12:2-3, which inturn transfers by the same message to the following promises Gen_13:16, Gen_15:5, before Abraham’s circumcision and after in Gen_17:5-7, (Gen_17:16, Gen_18:18, Gen_22:17, Gen_28:3-4, Gen_28:14, Gen_32:12, Gen_46:3; Gen_48:4; Exo_1:7; Num_1:1-65 and beyond.) It is well to note that the English phrase ‘preached before the gospel’ is only derived by 1 triple compound word with the suffix which gives the gospel a present tense position, prefixed by the word ‘pro’, thus telling us that the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the nations through faith pro-evagelized at that very time to Abraham… This is the ground word of the Gospel of the kingdom!

Exo_19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

Exo 19:6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

forwarded to the Gentiles or nations sprung from the loins and seed of Abraham by Peter the ambassador in:

1pe_2:5-9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

1Pe 2:10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

These are the Nation of Abraham, Abraham’s fruitfulness, being seen in the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, in Exodus at the very chapters where we are told that YHWH spoke from Heaven…a kingdom of Heaven.

By this promise of Kingship to proceed from Abraham carried into the time of Moses, whose giving of the Law made direction for the King: And to Moses YHWH again reveled His Law of His King, and thus of God’s Kingdom:

Deu_17:14 When thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me;

Deu 17:15 Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the LORD thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother.

Deu 17:16 But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.

Deu 17:17 Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.

Deu 17:18 And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:

Deu 17:19 And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:

Deu 17:20 That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from the commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of Israel.

After this came Saul who failed, then David who was given the eternal kingship ad of whom all the King’s of Israel have sprung to this day. Yet David or any of His sons did not attain to the measure of this Law, no matter how righteous the records and chronicles relay their actions. Until the beginning of the Gospel of Jesu Christ.

Yet this was by this scriptural descent the King was to come, and the king’s sons.

The people of Judah, hearing the preaching of John the messenger and Christ Jesus the Message of the Word of this very Law made flesh according to Joh_1:1-14, this Kingdom Law summarizes the person of the Anointed King of Israel our Israelite ancestors longed to see fulfill all the proclamations of the Gospel by the Law and Prophets, to set the people’s feet aright on the path which led to righteousness, justice and mercy; the stern Word of God which breaths upon flesh and it withers as grass, yet it’s Spirit and testimony stands forever, it is alive, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Heb_4:12

It was to this Kingdom anticipated but not prepared for our Christ came, and his Angel came before him, the people seemingly to not understand the measure of repentance required to have such a kingdom…Do WE! DO WE UNDERSTAND WHAT KING WE ARE SUBJECT TO?

Consider a Reading from a Septuagint /LXX translation of Isa_9:6-7

For a child was born to us; a son was given to us, of whom the sovereignty became upon his shoulder; and his name is called, Messenger of great counsel, wonderful, counselor, God’s mightyG2478 potentate, ruler of peace, father of the coming age.

For I will bring peace upon the rulers, and his health.

And great is his sovereignty, and of his peace there is no end upon the throne of David, and his kingdomG932 to set it up and to take hold in judgment; even with righteousness from the present and into the ages. The zeal of the lord of Hosts shall do these things.

Part 1

Christ the King and Head

Christ the Word and Foundation

There are 2 major points which should be made in both the understanding from which this message and all others offered come forth, that is that first and foremost to quash the insolent supposition put forward by those who have, as well as those who may misidentify the importance of the focus upon the Word of God, the Law of YHWH and the Testimonies of Scripture. As there are those who suppose that upholding the perfection of Scripture beyond doubt of it’s abrogation in any way or by any force, is not ‘christian’, insomuch as this faith in the validity and immovable foundation of the WORD of GOD particularly as it pertains to the Law of God is even to the unknowing mind, in opposition to Jesus Christ; that is there are those who are offended at the Gospel of the Scriptural record and Testimony as contained in the faith of those such as my self who try and practice the Law of YHWH God to the best of their ability while living in the flesh, just as well even by those thing which we can not practice, therefore we do not practice them, by our belief that those things contained in the Law of God are nonetheless Perfect, such as the tabernacle and or temple order, or the operation of the priesthood, as well as ever offering and or sacrifice ever spoken of by the Word of God, all of it is perfect, every WORD of God is true, pure faithful.

It is to this point the following shall go forward, upon this premise

Heb_13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Heb 13:7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God:

whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

The APB Trans says: whom contemplating the result of the behavior, you imitate the belief!”

Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Heb 13:9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines.

It is by this Christ who is the Same yesterday today and forever that we place our faith and trust in, to direct our behavior or conversation.

Thus all messages which I offer come from the simplicity of Faith in the inerrant WORD of YHWH God, that is a Biblically Realistic understanding which seeks to show that the Bible as the WORD of God: Perfect, inerrant, and divinely inspired in it’s origin, all of my Faith from which we get our Hope is through this book and the belief that it has been preserved through the Grace and Providence of He That Is God, the Scriptures of course bear this out continually, but for one who doubts the relevance, and Salvation contained in the Scriptures as Holy there is no Chapter and verse which will ever be enough to convince (as the KJV calls) the gainsayers (in the Greek the word gainsayers is translated from Anti-logo literally those who are against the word).

Yet for those who have tasted and seen that YHWH is Good and that God is true but every man a liar, we know this:

Rom 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

As well we may have our hope in 2Ti_3:15-17 which tells us that it is the knowing of the holy scriptures…are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. and that : All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

This is the lesson for the Church, the Ecclasia of Christ. The Prophet and King David tells us Concerning the Law that that it is Perfect in Psa_19:7,

Psa_12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

Pro_30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

Pro 30:6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

No matter what your eschatological persuasion is or what your denominational endoctrination is, the Fact is that the if we believe by faith that we have gained Salvation by that which is taught in the Bible then we consent that the Word of God is true, and if we consent that it is true then according to Psa_119:160 God’s… word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.

Thus I offer in every message we shall cover and have covered that every Word of God is true, it is Truth, it is applicable in some way to our life as followers of Christ as Christians, no matter what part of the bible: old testament or new testament, Law, prophets, histories or wisdom, All which are written in the scriptures are founded upon the Law of God as their foundation, every Word of God rests on that primary foundation founded in God’s Law, as our ability to see the faculties of Judgment used by God Almighty. From Genesis to Deuteronomy every word which is written in the Pentateuch is perfect and true it is as Hebrews 13: the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

The rule which keeps us back from Being carried about with divers and strange doctrines, it is the foundation of the Church, the LawfulCommandments, statutes, precepts and Judgments of YHWH,.

One might object at this point as many have done to be in times past after making this statment, and site

Eph_2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

Eph 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

Eph 2:22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Which brings me to the second major point of understanding.

That these two statements are one and the same, that is Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 2Ti_2:19

Iniquity is translated from the word a-dikias, the letter A being the prefixed negative particle to the word for righteousness, thus, literally means to be ‘void of righteousness’. This Iniquity which stands as a determination of the seal of God upon a proper foundation is then the naming of the name of Christ in conjunction with the departure of unrighteousness. Thus the foundation taught by the Apostles and prophet having Jesu Christ as the head corner stone of the foundation, creates a building fitly framed together to habit the Spirit of God, this is describing nothingness than the foundation we are called to in the principles of the doctrines of Christ a foundation founded in repentance from this unrighteousness, that is that Jesus Christ is the WORD made flesh according to John 1:1-14 for the very reason David tells us that the word of YHWH is true from the beginning and shall endure forever, that is that the Word of God, as found in His law which divides and separates good from evil, and teaches ADaM Man Judgment by YHWH’s directives is personified in the Man Jesus Christ, thus offering us a holistic foundation to be built upon:

Consider:

Heb_5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

Heb 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

Heb 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Heb 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

Heb 6:2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

Heb 6:3 And this will we do, if God permit.

Our calling is to move beyond the milk, which is found in the Law of God and repentace from the sin which has held us in bondage, disallowing us as

Eph_2:12 reads: That at that time we were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus we who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Eph 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

Eph 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

Eph 2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

Eph 2:17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

It is here that we may now build and move beyond the Idea that the Law of God is to arduous or strenuous to allow us to use it as our measure of righteousness, for Christ has given us the ability as both head of the Church and Foundation, it is exactly by His blood we water and hydrate the mortar of this holy temple, this house hold of God, this citizenship of the Common wealth of Israel; it is by the blood of His covenant we are empowered to believe in the whole word of God, and having no fear of the enmity as long as we are sealed with the proof of our calling by our departure from iniquity/ unrighteousness as we discover it’s hiding place in our life.

Hebrews goes on to say in Chapter 6

Heb_6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

Heb 6:5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

Heb 6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Thus on these two point it is concluded that the two are in Biblical reality one and the same, that is that in every word ever spoken by YHWH God Almighty is the person of Jesus Christ, thus I can never nor can any one ever quote any portion of the Holy writ of God’s Word and not speak of the perfect life of Jesus Christ the Son of God, who is the Word made flesh. Our perfect example.

In the last message A Common Law for a Common-Wealth,

The Common Law of God, the entirety of the focus was concerning the Government which the Christian church should have, as it pertains to: Self Government, Family

Government, National Government and Land Government; when the word Government is used attention should not only be called to the Ideas of what we call principalities or municipalities, that is the rule of civil conduct prescribed by the supreme or principal power in a state, rather our mind should be drawn to the Idea of Control or restraint in what so ever governmental position YHWH God has placed any particular member of the Church of Jesu Christ in.

It is here we exchange with our prior subject matter, as we are told very plainly that:

1Co_11:3 …the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

As well

Eph_5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

 

Col_1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Thus, The Church as spoken of according to the Scriptures is as well a functionary part of this Government process as it is explained above and seen in conjunction with the Laws of God explained in the Common law of God particularly in all of the family organized and regulated order of the Congregation, which is a synonym for the Church, as when we read such words in the LXX we often time find the very same word as translated from the Greek Ecclesia, which is the Church in Brithonic English, thus when we read this family constructed Church or Ecclesia, congregation of the LORD we understand why such laws contained in Deu_23:1-6 are mentioned.

It was this fruitful multiplicity mandated to ADaM for the purpose of Dominion according to Gen 1:26-28, a Governance and Godly Government is that which starts within the individual Covenant recipient joined in marriage by a Godly union which is fruitful and terminates with National Government. This is the Origin of the Church, and it is for this Cause Christ is recognized as the head or husband of the Congregation of Israel otherwise known as the Church or Ecclesial, which is the body of Christ.

The fruit of this union continues the Seed of the Word in the hearts of the Covenant children, as Christ taught plainly concerning the Gospel of the Kingdom of God in Luk_8:11The seed is the word of God.

It is this seed in the fertile hearts of the children of the Kingdom, the church which will as well Bless the world and all the families of the earth accordingly to the dominion mandate which the descendants of ADaM had received as an inheritance, that which was passed on to Abraham Isaac and Jacob Israel Gen_12:3; Gen_18:18; Gen_22:18; Gen_26:4; Gen_28:14, a Covenant inheritance which then had come full circle in the one specific seed which came in the ma Jesu the Christ. Thus, is this holistic Government, as pronounced by God the Father through His WORD which He had caused to be made flesh according to Joh_1:1-14 which stands in this age as our savior, our Lord, our prince, our King, it is Christ the Head of the Church which serves as our example.

The book of Hebrews starts in saying

Heb_1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

Heb 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Heb 1:4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

Heb 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

Heb 1:6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

Heb 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

Heb 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

Heb 1:9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

It is unto this Government we as the Church are called by one calling, unto the biblical and Lawful New Covenant made in the blood of Christ, according to commandments, statutes and judgments of Almighty God we are Governed, that is by His Law, the Same Law which defines sin and calls the Sons of God into perfection by the love of God:

The ambassador of the Gospel of Christ, John tells us this:

1Jn_3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

1Jn_3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

1Jn 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

our Christ and brother is said to have in him is no sin.

So it is that even in the affairs of this life amid a crooked and perverse generation we are told it was to this calling like Christ hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

1Pe_2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

1Pe 2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

1Pe 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

1Pe 2:25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

This is full Government is entirely bound up in the man Jesu the Christ, and in His conduct, He as the Word made flesh had all things in His Body and life under subjection to the the Word which was spoken before His flesh had ever been made, the essence of His perfection being found in the same Holy Spirit which reveled the Gospel through out the Scriptural testament, it is to this Faith and life we as Christians are called to walk if indeed we are members in particular of the Body of Christ and Children of the Kingdom.

If it would ever be asked, where in this common law is Christ? or Where in this Common-Wealth of Israel we described is Christ? Our emphatic answer should be as Head! and as Head as King, and as King it is Christ who is Head of state, the Head of the Kingdom of God and of Heaven, and of the Common-Wealth the body politic of the Church.

It is to this Kingdom of God which our focus must be now be called after establishing by the Scriptures the Headship of the Son of YHWH over the tribes of Jacob as His righteous servant according to Isa_49:3-9, as well it is to self Government we are called to press by love closer into image of Christ.

This introduction to this new focus is aimed at entrance into the kingdom, into the Church and into the Body of Christ. Notice the way in which the Gospel of the kingdom evangelized:

Mat_3:1-2 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,  And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

and

Mat_4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

and

Mat_10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

Mat 10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Mat 10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

It is to this point the next part of this message shall focus upon.

Exodus 20:17 / Deuteronomy 5:21

 

There is no significant difference in the Hebrew text of Exodus from that of Deuteronomy for the purpose of this compilation to draw attention to,The Hebrew verb and nouns through out the text of both are identicle, English word desire as found in the place of Covet in Exodus is as well the same Hebrew word: HeMaD.

HeMaD is translated neutrally and context defines the word as to a positive or negative. Yet there is one thing to be noticed that  in seemingly every instance HeMaD can swiftly become evil in it’s context, no matter how innocent the desire, coveting, pleasure is, with in the back drop of every situation is the looming Evil of it’s desire beyond Justice or Righteousness.

In the Greek the word Epi-Thumeh-seis / επιθυμησεις G1937 is a compound word constructed into a verb, which is that of epi- added to the root word to show supper-imposition, this is still done in English words taken from Greek which we still use (Epidemic, epilogue, epitomize), that is: on, upon in the sense of beyond (G1909) + the word Thume , a word which in scripture is used to signify the essence of a matter or situation, it is the word used to describe God’s pondering on why he made wicked Adam in the earth Gen_6:6 , it is the essence of Esau’s anger against Jacob Gen_27:45, the longing of Jacob towards his fathers house Gen_31:30, as well it is essence of the inscents of the altar of YHWH Exo_25:6, the word indicates as our English still shows the ‘Theme’ of the situation, thus together this word shows the epi-theme, it is ‘beyond the theme’ the intensity of the theme. A related word, Epithem, in medical terms this a word still understood as a medical treatment to be applied externally, An external application of a topical medicine. Such as a liquid in which cloth is dipped for pain relief or healing, to be applied to an area of the body in need of treatment. Offering the Idea of placing the substance to aid upon the area; as well if the liquid in which the cloth was dipped were damaging to an area it would nevertheless be a epithem, yet not for the purpose of healing, but rather for the purpose of causing illness.

SIN is an ILLNESS,

it starts with Epithumesis

 

In the Greek construct of the 10 Commandments, as was discussed concerning Adultery, and in noticeable distinction from the Hebrew construct, Killing, Adultery, Stealing, False witness, and Covetousness are all converted into conditions; as we would understand it’s grammatical construct today, that is all of the words describing the forbidden act have the ending of ‘σεις ‘ seis ‘ or ‘εις eis ‘ , thereby rendering the commandment as a forbiddence towards a conditional behavior, such as we may understand other Greek words in English, one who has the condition of Arthritis has affliction to what was once refereed to as the Artus, arteries of the limbs, one who has Paralysis, the inability to move, is the affliction of one with a Palsy, one who has the condition of Narcosis is want to use a Narcotics or to be overly tiered, sleepy.

This choice of wording makes the prior commands including this 10th commandment a condition as well.

As the people of Scriptural Covenant, one is assumed by birth into the covenant of ones parents, this may lead to the blessing of righteousness in obedience or curse by wicked disobedience and rejection (Lev 26:44-45), yet one who is born to Parents of the Covenant are covenant children in the flesh, and before them lay a choice: to become a spiritual child of the covenant, by placing the WORD of YHWH in ones heart and mind and inward parts or to take on the body of sin and death contrary to the body of the resurrected Christ by an infectious illness which treatens the health and Common-Wealth of Israel, yea, the which is the core of the Common-Wealth, as the Ecclasia / Church as the Body of Christ can not be affected by such illness, rather when such a illness is allowed to persist with in the epidermis of the body, that is the outer layer who is member to the Common-Wealth by mere parentage and not by the personal New Covenant of Christ; those outer portions must be removed from the Common body as not to destroy the Wealth when the infection is made manifest! The Condition and illness found in this conclusionary 10th Commandment is damning and dangerous, while it’s symptoms are hidden in there early stages with in the heart and mind full of Lust or Covetousness, desire or pleasure in those things which are not intended for the families of Israel to be engaged in, it is by this same illness of Covetousness that the wicked are allowed to persist in close proximity to the Body of Christ, thereby causing the Church to be bed mates with a body of death and causing the infection to become transferable by it’s lack of self treatment with the healing power of the Spirit of God.

The Ambassador Paul admonishes us to:

Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts / Covetousness thereof. Rom_6:12

Specifically, The Commandment speaks of Coveting that which is thy neighbors, as the word was used prior it is used now, with in the common-Wealth what is our neighbors is his, by the Lawful Right given by God as a Citizen, this Law aims to curb secession of God’s Kingdom contained with in the Common-Wealth of Israel’s inheritance, not only of possessions but of Covenant and Law give to the Congregation of Jacob (Deu_33:4) In Coveting that which is thy neighbors we covet that which YHWH’s has given others with in the Common-Wealth beside thee: His wife, His House, His servants, His animals or anything that is his truly. It is this Covetousness that fuels all sin contrary to the LAW, even by coveting any thing which is thy neighbors, calls upon covetousness directed towards a Kingdom of neighbors or brothers who posses the whole of God’s Law as an inheritance, thus implicating sin upon one who covets the breaking of those Commandments which seemingly to our fleshly mind only pertain to our personal relationship with YHWH; yet by moving beyond covetousness and manifesting sin in our actions we literally rob the Common-Wealth of it’s blessing and inheritance by God’s Law.

 

 

It is with this mind honed in on this illness that this last and 10th Commandment of the Common Law is spoken of by biblical context, as in the often mentioned poetry of Almighty God, this 10th command lay at the core of the very first ill against YHWH God the creator, a sin which sought to replace the very power of He Who Is God.

A people of Self Dominion

Ruled by the Law of YHWH GOD

The account of Genesis and the Origins of Adamic society is the pedigrees of the Ordained Common Law of ‘He who rules with God’ or ‘Israel’, it is this concept which was the intention of the dominion or governance mandate of Gen 1:26-28, and this conceptual title is found in the name given to Jacob and his son’s in the name of I-SR-AEL.

Covetousness is in the heart and mind, it is the beginning and the end of self government, that is the Governing of ones self, which is basis upon which all Commandments and Laws of God are kept, ignored or abandoned by the will of man; by the giving of this will to choose whom we will serve the nature of the spiritual likeness and image is perceived, it is at the aim of covetousness, desire or pleasure that the will of the inward man is made know and the will of the flesh made evident. It is here that Covetousness with in this Society is the Engine of both life and death, Good and Evil, blessing and cursing.

Covetousness /HeMaD, is first referenced

Gen_2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put those of the ADaM whom he had formed. (reference the LXX, and the Hebrew of Deu_5:24, Isa_6:12, Zec_11:6 as example of how this is not refering to one man named Adam)

Gen_2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

 

This country where Adam Folk were set to tend and till, there was grown pleasant or coveted crops and trees, beautiful in sight, good for food, as well in ADaM’s native land were 2 very special trees: Life, and Knowledge: of course we know Knowledge teaches Good and Evil.

Gen_2:15 And the LORD God took the ADaM, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

Gen 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the ADaM, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

Gen_2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

So, according to Gen_2:9 this tree which is forbidden, The Knowledge of Good and Evil, is a pleasant or coveted tree, but it’s effect is death to ADaM in the day he eats of it.

This is where at this time ADaM is in the Garden of the Lord, he is given provisions of food, yet he is required even at this time work, tend or till this Garden to maintain his life, as well ADaM is given dominion.

YHWH God tells the ADaM, ‘it’s all yours except for that tree, that 1 tree is mine, you can have all the others and the tree of Life, but that one tree is mine alone’ As creator YHWH God has this Right of course to reserve for Him self any thing he desired, and what YHWH desired was the knowledge of Good and Evil reserved to Him self, it was His property, and stigma attached to that tree, regardless of what the opinion on the physical make up of that tree is, it’s stigma is it’s YHWH’s, He coveted it to be His Own, His pleasure, delight or covetousness, it was His property, it was His plain and simple.

And as ADaM was made in the image and likeness of God it was as well pleasant, desirable and coveted as beautiful to the senses of ADaM as well, as to what was desired is the focus is found in the next portion of the Holy text:

Gen_3:1 Now the serpent (Eh-NaHeS, or Gk. Opis: referencing a literal Serpent type creature) was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

Gen 3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

Gen 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

Gen 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

Gen_3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

 

Gen_3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good (desirable) for food, and that it was pleasant (good) to the eyes, and a tree to be desired (Coveted) to make wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

And for the present record, the serpant was not lying about the affect of the fruit of the tree, the eating of knowledge, as to open ADaM’s eyes as God’s to know good and evil, as YHWH himself says:

Gen 3:22 And YHWH God said, Behold, the ADaM is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:..

Consider Gen_3:6, this is a place where the pleasantness of this particular forbidden tree is described, wat it’s desire was, it’s pleasantness it’s Covetousness: this covetousness was spelled out and well defined by the angelic serpant, angelic, I say because this Serpent was a messenger, made by YHWH, accourding to Gen_3:1 “more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made”. Like the story of Balaam’s ass, who’s mouth was opened to persuade the madness of the YHWH fearing prophet Balaam, this Serpents mouth was opened for one reason, a reason the text clearly told us:

Gen 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

God used this subtle beast to prove, test or try the ADaM. The Serpent plays the role of the divine revelation, an anomaly that is undoubtedly God sent, and it was, a situation so bazaar that the woman and man who partook of the situation would have to knowledgeably engage, willfully engage, that is as is shown in the woman’s contemplation of self convincing, it is description of the cognition of every action we make against another’s possessions as well as those things God has forbid his people to partake it by his parental guidance: personal desire, personal pleasure, selfishness, to the end of personal deification or heart placed Idolatry. (Leading us back to the first and second commandment, full circle.)

Consider the Serpents part as described in

Deu_13:1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,

Deu_13:2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;

Deu 13:3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

Deu 13:4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.

Paul as well teaches this same truth:

2Th_2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

2Th_2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

 

In the case of our fore bearers of ADaM Folk, they did not love the truth of God’s Word, thet didn’t believe it by Faith, they didn’t trust YHWH when He said “for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”.

 

Thus no matter where the Covetousness comes from, even if from an angel from heaven, the Word of YHWH is greater, and is sustained, the simplicity of thou shalt and thou shalt not thwarts the non-commanded constructive inferences of any approach seemingly contrary to the Word of God.

The desire we have to take for our own pleasure is being curbed by this 10th Common Law in our heart and mind, before it is manifest in our life by our coupling Covetousness, desire or pleasure’s pull with the actual committing of any other Commandment: Killing, Adultery, Stealing or False witness agaist our neighbor.

And while not directly applied by the 10th Commandment, it is undoubtedly implied by the context of the word and it’s first case example as shown in the Account of Genesis as well as that which is seen beyond the pentauch that Coventing to Not Worship YHWH by Idolitry, Vanity, Ignoring the Sabbath, or Dishonoring Parents is as well Sin, which have it’s wage to be payed as Death in it’s manifestation.

Like Brute beasts made to be…

A Society that practices Covetousness is a society that has tasted of the forbidden fruit of desire and pleasure, which in and of it’s self is a heart and mind set that is not easily curbed. Like a brute beast is drawn by repetition to return to what it desires, mindlessly drawn by the pleasure of the experience had the prior day so man partakes of the same nature. Yet as well by Grace some who are called see this nature of covetousness in the flesh and break it’s condemnation.

For it is sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of covetousness.

For without the law sin was dead. For I was alive without the law once:

but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.

Rom_7:8-9

 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

Rom 7:24

I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord…

The LAW of YHWH IS TREASURE

to be Coveted!

Psa_19:10 More to be desired ( Coveted ) are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

Psa 19:11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

Psa 19:12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

Psa 19:13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

Psa 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Solomon goes on to describe Godly Covetousness of YHWH’s treasured Law:

Pro_21:20 There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but foolish ADaM spendeth it up.

Pro 21:21 He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.

Pro 21:22 A wise man scaleth the city of the mighty, and casteth down the strength of the confidence thereof.

 

Ending off with this admonition:

 

 

Rom_8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness

Against Thy Neighbour.

Against Thy Neighbour.

Deuteronomy 5:20

In the English Bible of our KJV both Exo_20:16 and Deu_5:20, seem to be identical with the exception of the first 3 words of the forbidance. Yet in the Hebrew, there is one more noticeable difference than the arrangement of the negative command, and that is the word translated ‘False’.

In the prior and related compilation study of this same series on the Common Law of GOD, pt 2. the 3rd Commandment regarding taking ‘YHWH’s Name in Vain’ has covered these words to be discussed and how they are related as part and parcel to the understanding of this 9th Commandment, it is evident that without having a firm grasp on the falsity and vanity of the violation of the 3rd Commandment, the actual and literal understanding of the violation against the 9th Commandment contained in sinful treatment of one’s neighbor in somewhat incomprehensible. So it is that some information contained in the message relayed from the 3rd Commandment will be repeated in this compilation as well, yet for a more comprehensive understanding of this Law of God particularly, I would ask that one first listen to the 2nd part of this series which regards the 3rd Commandments. Before getting in to the 2 Hebrew words of focus and more importantly their meaning and then effect upon the Common-Wealth in their violation and in their keeping; one word, which is actually a prefix on the Hebrew word ‘neighbor’, is the word ‘against’, bear a false witness ‘against thy neighbor’. Some have supposed this Commandment to only disallow falsification of witness in the negative affect, against a neighbor, that is to damn thy neighbor, to bring a false witness against ones neighbor, in a court room setting, as in to bring a charge against him, yet this application is contrary to biblical context, as to be provided. The Hebrew word for ‘against’, as translated in the KJV is simply the prefix of the letter ‘B’ to the word neighbor, ‘B’ also is translated and means ‘to, unto, near, by, beside, before’ , the prefix represents the Idea of closeness, it as per holistic scriptural context is not limiting the 9th Commandment to a negative witness by falsehood in a court setting or in a setting of accusation of judgment, rather it is the general bearing of a falsehood ‘to, unto or by’ ones neighbor, the Idea of bringing falsehood to him in any way…un-discript. As well the very word witness implies Truth, as a thing certainly known.

The Common-Wealth of Israel is to guard against Falsehood in it’s Common Law, which therefore imposes it’s self upon the citizenry and society as a thing common within the action’s between neighbor to neighbor, the Idea of excepted falsity amid neighbors or friends in general conversation, in simple and mindless lying I wish to dispelled by an illustration to show how falsity is a repugnant standard by which to live, as it is a standard of destruction that will hereby allow vanity to rule the Nation from it’s Justice system down, then from it’s children upward in it’s natural order; Falsehood and Witness are two opposing creatures that have the ability to mate,albeit only in the captivity of ones mind, yet they shall bring forth fruit in the world.

After the vain Idol of falsehood is bowed to, by the committing of adultery by False with Witness , the half bred of in-absolute and meaningless conversation shall be begat for 3 to 4 generations, insomuch as this iniquity will pervade to the utmost: into the law and the covenant of the very Common-Wealth it was codified to preserve: In a society created to be seated upon God’s Word these mongrels will be paraded as legitimate, the bastard will thereby fulfill it’s own destiny by replacing the true, perfect and purified Law of God with it’s own dynastic equivalent in destructive force in opposition to the Law which sought to give life. The wage of Sin shall be payed, and the unfortunate truth is that it is only those who will not kissed that Idol or bowed to it’s likeness that will realize it’s father is Falsehood and that Witness had been taken by force, Justice has been perverted!

This is the state we look at in this situation, this is the importance of the establishment of the Common-Wealth of Israel to be seated on the Law of God which persists by the Holy Spirit of Truth and Wisdom.

Consider:

In the commandments:

In Exodus the Hebrew word שׁקר׃ / SiQuR H8267 is translated false

לא / no תענה /shalt thou bear ברעך / against thy neighbor. עד /witness שׁקר׃H8267 false

In Deuteronomy the Hebrew word is שׁוא׃ / SUA H7723 is translated false

ולא / Neither תענהH6030 shalt thou bear ברעך /against thy neighbor. עד / witness שׁוא׃H7723 false

While both words are acceptable translations to the word false in English, the reason the language varies is because we are meant to learn the compound or dual spirit of these letters, as YHWH had both words used it is so that those who are called by His Name may ask Him what it is we should not do, that we may please him by our lives and our society.

As in the discussion of any law, the construct of the wording is important as to it’s intent, an intent that Israel is intended to understand.

Biblical Context

The only verses in the Pentateuch Law where the Hebrew word שׁוא / SUA (H7723 ) translated in Deu_5:20 as ‘False’ is found is in the following verses beside: Exo_20:7; Deu_5:11 3rd Commandment,

As well we have context and case, to help in:

Exo_23:1 Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.

Again the word SUA from Exodus 20:7, the 3rd Commandment is found translated ‘False’, while the context seems to be that of the 9th Commandment dealing with a the ‘false report’ of a ‘false witness’.

Venturing out side of the Pentateuch for context consider the substantiation of this word meaning ‘vain or empty’

Job 15:31 Let not him that is deceived trust in vanity: for vanity shall be his recompence.

 

Psa 12:1-2 Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.

They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.

God’s Word in opposition to the context:

Psa 12:6 The words of YHWH are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

The form of false witness being referenced in Deuteronomy 5:20, as indicated by the word SUA is not identical to the form represented in Exodus 20:17, as indicated by the word SiQuR.

SUA refers to the type of falsehood which is vain, empty, mindless, ignorant, aimless: An example at law of this understanding is sited by Noah Webster as ‘ignoramus’: An ignorant person; a vain pretender to knowledge. , suitingly it could be described as ‘lying just to lie’, truly vain words.

While when dealing with the word found in Exodus: SiQuR and it’s related words refer to the same falsity of the witness, that is in it’s quality as being untrue, yet it indicates false intent, filled with falsehood for a reason, mindfully false, knowledgeably incorrect, aimed at injustice

Hebrew root SiQ is found a number of times in the Law, also dealing with these ‘ false matters ‘

Exo_23:7 Keep thee far from a false matter

(that is literally: ‘ Of words that are false (SiQuR) be far from’)

Of testifying falsely

Bearing  Falsity 

 

Deu_19:18 And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother;

Deu 19:19 Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.

Above the word SiQuR is used both times for the word false, and as well the same word translated in the Commandment as ‘bear’, is here translated ‘testified’.

A good example of the context of both the 3rd and 9th commandment may be seen in

Lev_19:11 Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie(SiQuR-H8266) one to another.

Lev_19:12 And ye shall not swear by my name falsely,(SiQuR- H8267), neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.

Lev 19:13 Thou shalt not defraud (O-SiQH6231) thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.

This small but weighty substantiated arrangement of evidence from scripture shows the meaning of both aspects of the 9th Commandment and it’s use of the both the Hebrew word SUA referencing ‘Vain matters’ and that of SiQeR matters (pun intended), that is falsity with intent. Remember both aspects of this Commandment reference willful sin, that is to do so knowingly, even the falsehood which speaks to the idea of ignorance, the sinner bears a willfully: ignorant, vain, empty, careless, mindless ‘witness’ or ‘matter’, in ‘words’ : written or spoken. While the more sick idea to our morality is the idea of matters which we know to be false and perhaps have premeditated the effect of it’s witness, matters or words.

THE

CHRISTIAN WITNESS

Can Not Be

FALSE OR VAIN

In other words, when those who are Called by the LORD YHWH’s Name, those who claim the blood of the covenant to be written upon them, by the precious name of Jesu(s) Christ, that is as a Christian, when they speak to a matter is should neither be vain or false, the words which we speak as part of the common-wealth of Israel that is as joint heirs with Christ of His Kingdom, should be true words, pure words, words and witnesses and testimonies which have been tried and found to have substance: This would indicate particularly in matters of trial or judgment before a governing authority ordained by YHWH God, yet not limited to such, as the Commandment is not only focusing upon a witness in a court but in the witness of ones mouth, hand and actions as offered to ones neighbor or brother of the Common-Wealth of Israel, that is of his own Nation. There is not one persuasive shred of evidence that witness to the fact or to suggests that it is exceptionable practice of behavior under this 9th Common Law that would allow for fellow Citizen-brothers to practice general lying or vain speech one with the other; in other words the whole command is an admonition towards thoughtful and true dealings with in the common-wealth, brother to brother, neighbor to neighbor from general conversation unto judgment for sin. And as a people called by God’s Name, it behooves us to Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. And their word will eat as doth a canker… 2Ti_2:15-17 “

Not only when we study the scriptures to give an answer for our Faith, are we to shun the profane and vain babblings, we are to as well have our conversation honest among the Gentiles ( 1Pe_2:12), to be men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom (Act_6:3), Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men. (2Co_8:21) as our calling by His Name is to walk by Faith, thus every dealing we as members of the Common-Wealth of Israel and as joint heirs with Christ as Christians should convey our honest action which are dictated by our honest Faith, our truthful Faith which leads the brothers of Christ to be a thoughtfully considerate race begotten of the father, that is not a vain, ignorant, mindless, and empty witness of our faith, our hope with in us, by stupidly speaking unsubstantiated matters that we do not have understand on, or witnessing to a thing that by our ignorance on the matter will misrepresent the witness of our faith. As well, in the other form, the SiQR is to bear a falsehood in our witness, that is to turn our hearts to be he that worketh deceit, he that telleth lies, knowing that those who do such shall not dwell in the house of YHWH or tarry in his sight. as says Psa_101:7, to not meddle with falsehood as Pro_17:4 A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue.

It behooves us as those who earnestly desire not to take the Name of our GOD in vain to become the people of His calling who bear no false witness unto our neighbor.

Yet for the Godly we we are told:

Psa_119:104 Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

It is of necessity that those who are called by the Name of YHWH and those who call upon His Name be honest, truthful, wise men and women of an understanding heart and spirit, as far as our cognation allow us to be by our emotional and mental nature.

CHRIST ON AVOIDING EVIL

It is not until after the a fore mentioned aspect of the 3rd and 9th Commandment is brought into focus that it is even appropriate to discuss the subject of: Swearing, Oaths, Vowes, and Judgment, this is because honest and true men are in no need of swearing such an Oath as they in their honest conversation have no need of such, opperating upon the principles of

Num_30:2 If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.

which is well substantiated by our Lord Christ in his teaching in

Mat_5:37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

As Christians we are pressed to have simple communication, and direct, for there is no place to swear in any way less than to swear by the name of YHWH when swearing is requiered.

Mat 5:33 Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:

Mat 5:34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God’s throne:

Mat 5:35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.

Mat 5:36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.

The forgone mention of swearing not at all is specific to the idea of swearing ‘not at all’ by any other thing than upon the name of YHWH as the Law only establishes:

Deu_6:13 Thou shalt fear YHWH thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name

Once Christians are honest

Judicial Proceedings

As the verses of the Pentateuch and the case examples are reflected upon from Exodus 23, Deuteronomy 19 and Leviticus 19, specific instances of law are seen to directly reference the swearing of brother to brother or neighbor to neighbor, the object of an Oath as taken in the Name of YHWH, the LORD, is evident, as well the swearing of an Oath is part of Judiciary proceedings under certain circumstances. The swearing of an Oath, is a very serious matter, as stated by our Christ, when swearing is required is is due to some form of evil. The swearing in a judicial proceeding is to invoke honesty beyond the standard, it is used as a converse measure to hold a Brother-Citizen to account for the truth or falsity of his testimony, so that the actual incrimination may come from the swearing falsely or lying under Oath, which today is called Perjury. In this instance the man who asserts to know a thing must swear as to His knowledge of the matter as will he who is to defend from the accusation, true or false. The Use of the swearing of an Oath is among the highest forms of Evidence one may produce in a Judiciary setting, as it is first hand witness coupled with the witness of God, by evoking His Name into the matter beyond a common standard it places a multiplied level of guilt upon the one who uses the Name vainly, the act calls ones soul into account beyond the duration of life; the only evidence which is higher is the like in opposition of 2 or 3 witnesses and / or factually substantiated Evidence introduced into the matter contrary to the single witness and his oath.

A Case Example:

Exo_22:7 If a man shall deliver unto his neighbour money or stuff to keep, and it be stolen out of the man’s house; if the thief be found, let him pay double.

Exo 22:8 If the thief be not found, then the master of the house shall be brought unto the judges, to see whether he have put his hand unto his neighbour’s goods.

Exo 22:9 For all manner of trespass, whether it be for ox, for ass, for sheep, for raiment, or for any manner of lost thing, which another challengeth to be his, the cause of both parties shall come before the judges; and whom the judges shall condemn, he shall pay double unto his neighbour.

Exo 22:10 If a man deliver unto his neighbour an ass, or an ox, or a sheep, or any beast, to keep; and it die, or be hurt, or driven away, no man seeing it:

Exo_22:11 Then shall an oath of the LORD be between them both, that he hath not put his hand unto his neighbour’s goods; and the owner of it shall accept thereof, and he shall not make it good.

When either form of falsehood prior discussed, either vainly-ignorant or intentionally-premeditated, the matter must be delineated by a Judicious Elder wise and understanding, and known among the tribe, and in such a case the determined Judgment preordained is:

Deu_19:16 If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong;

Deu 19:17 Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days;

Deu 19:18 And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother;

Deu_19:19 Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.

Restitution it is always the preferred Judgment to cause Brothers to be reconciled by restitution going forward, in the case of payment, for in the case of one who owes another, there is no damaged party more justified to have restitution than thy who have been wronged. In the event that one has in some form or another found an occasion to repent of a falsehood, the following is prescribed:

Lev_6:2 If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the LORD, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour;

Lev 6:3 Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein:

Lev 6:4 Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found,

Lev_6:5 Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering.

In such a case we see the place of repaying 1/5th of that which was the principal beyond the matter, and beyond this YHWH required an unblemished Ram payed to the priest hood or perhaps it’s estimated value?

In an Ideal Christian society established in brotherhood and good faith this incident would be resolved civilly, and between the two men of what ever the matter was, by simply taking one and the other at His honest word and knowing that neither would defraud, steal or trespass against the other willfully, yet this is not the nature of Men.

Thus when such a controversy arises the decision is ultimate to determine the truth of the matter, and to determine if either Citizen of the Common-Wealth is acting in an un-brotherly way, and to restore such a one by restitution.

The citizen members of the Ecclesia should not be found unworthy to judge the smallest matters…things that pertain to this life?

As the Apostle admonishes: If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church/ecclasia. I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren? 1Co_6:1-6

In such a case, Paul’s admonition is for brothers to appeal one to the other first and then to turn to a judge of the Ecclesia, providing the reprimand:

1Co 6:1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?..But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.

1Co 6:7 Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?

1Co 6:8 Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren.

1Co 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?

This of course is the case when members of the Ecclesial are living under the principalities and powers of the darkness, and not under a righteous Common-Wealth, and that when the Judge which wields the power of punishment is unGodly.

 

A Single Swearing of Oaths or Vows

That is the Idea of one who swears to do a thing for another before Almighty God.

Multiple examples of men swearing one to the other to preform an action is regarded out side of the perjury prior discussed, and this due to the circumstances and place of who is involved, when for instance an oath is sworn between Abraham and Eliazar as to get a wife of Abraham’s kindred for Isaac to wed, or between Isaac and Amimelech a Oath of peace is made, and beyond the swearing of these Oaths, they show the invocation of God into a matter to establish it beyond the normal for Divine accountability, it as well is an invocation for YHWH’s help in the matter: this too may undoubtedly be the bearing of a false witness in the event of it’s willful disregard or thoughtlessness.

Swearing a Oath to God is a vow:

Also is the matter of a vow, which by biblical definition seems to only indicate an swearing of an Oath or promise to God Himself as to do a thing for Him or to Him, to this Solomon offers excelant advice:

Ecc 5:4 When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.

Ecc 5:5 Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.

Ecc 5:6 Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?

Ecc 5:7 For in the multitude of dreams and many words there are also divers vanities: but fear thou God.

It is a powerful thing to vow a vow to YHWH, as the scriptures evidently bear witness.

 

The Swearing of an Oath by YHWH

Deu 7:7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

Deu 7:8 But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

Deu 7:9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

Thou Shalt Not Steal

Exodus 20:15 / Deuteronomy 5:19

The Hebrew word for theft is a word many people already know, as similar slang is used in American-English for the same action: GNaB or nab, perhaps a help in remembering the word?

The universal Idea of stealing or theft as a wrong among cultures and laws of diverse peoples as well as creatures is absolute, that is the Idea of one or many taking from another or others what is not theirs is a wrong; yet it may come as stumble to those who wish primary laws of morality held as Christian to be universally understood to all peoples that theft or stealing is not the same for every culture, while most peoples have a general idea of what is theft, what is so for one culture is not to another. This is the case even among cultures which are genetically identical, yet generationally separated by time. This is the case in today’s so called christian culture opposed to the christianity of our separateist ancestors in America, and those to their Israelite ancestors of Moses to Nehemiah’s day.

When Citizenship is spoken of with in the Common-Wealth their are 2 particular words which God Law uses over and over again, that is Brother and Neighbor as well the 3 biblical words the English Bible calls ‘Stranger’ are all brought into focus when we speak on this matter, and it is indissoluble inherited rights which make other peoples strangers to the common-wealth, and as such strangers are excluded from some protections afforded to the brothers of the citizenship of Israel, which are sin when commited one upon each other. As the philosophy of the Idea mentioned that most every people of the world have a custom against theft, it is just a mater of what theft is to that people; at Law, even in modern law, this aspect of persons is what divides stealing from authorized behavior (either authorized by law or by the peoples conplacency, it makes no difference, both set the standard of the people’s constitution at that given time).

For instance, as was spoken of in the prior message on the 7th Commandment as well as touched on in the 5th Commandment message in this compilation is the God ordained concept of Land possession, which in the Common-Wealth of Israel was YHWH owned, He is the land LORD and He has delegated stewardship or governance, dominion by tribal family possession:

Lev_25:23 The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is Mine;for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.

Lev 25:24 And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land.

Lev 25:25 If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath sold away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold.

Lev 25:26 And if the man have none to redeem it, and himself be able to redeem it;

Lev 25:27 Then let him count the years of the sale thereof, and restore the overplus unto the man to whom he sold it; that he may return unto his possession.

Lev 25:28 But if he be not able to restore it to him, then that which is sold shall remain in the hand of him that hath bought it until the year of jubile: and in the jubile it shall go out, and he shall return unto his possession.

Lev_25:34 But the field of the suburbs of their cities may not be sold; for it is their perpetual possession.

Yet in our modern day the concept of Land is not possession in YHWH’s stead it is ‘private’ ownership, which in God’s vacancy through his ordained Law is more like Rent; for consider the modern culture and cultures of European descent: With out some form of payment required, the ruling principality and powers of government will come to your home, land or business and remove you and your family from it, and you will have no right that any court will recognize which will grant you possession with out payment of what that principality determines to be ‘due’.

In a society based upon God’s Law where land ownership is Almighty God’s and it is possessed as an inheritance by the Ethnic-nation of Israel, only a citizen of the Common-Wealth may claim his own ancestral land indefinitely that is perpetually with no intervention, by any ruler or any other person, none save the eviction by the Land LORD via war and dispossession, all other forms of a brother citizen or Israel being removed from his possession is theft. At such points when citizens of Israel are being removed, a clear line is drawn that a dyer need to repent before Almighty God is at hand, and a God ordained opposition to tyranny is of necessity.

So the culture most Europeans live under today would be tyrannical to their father’s who lived in the days of king Saul or perhaps Ahab, it is a matter of culture.

So it is, when speaking of stealing or theft in God’s Common Law it is defined by statute, YHWH, God of Israel is the determiner according to His Law of what theft is and is not, and as well what situations will determine the particular punishment to be executed by the Elders: Judges and Officers, the crime is to be judged according to Justice by the ordained diligent inquisition, and then as the well known Biblical Maxim teach:

Deu 19:21 And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

Restitution

When contemplating Biblical stealing with in the Common-Wealth of Israel as Governed by the Common Law of the 8th Commandment, the understanding of Judgment for particular crimes being diverse one from the other becomes obvious as the Commandment’s violation is dealt with differently based upon the nature and object of the theft, as well as the circumstances surrounding it, yet one pervading absolution is consistent in judgment for this sin-crime between brother and brothers, neighbors and neighbors as well as Citizen and stranger, this is the idea of Restitution.

The term Restitution is in our legal language even today, Noah Webster defined it thus:

Restitution is made by restoring a specific thing taken away or lost.

2. The act of making good, or of giving an equivalent for any loss, damage or injury…

When we speak of restoring in the KJV we speak to the same point, as well.

In all cases Restitution is the final “act of making good”, and the determiner of what good is, is GOD.

Just Weights and Measures:

A Common Standard of Value

By the demand for Just Restitution the essentiality of equivalent value must arise, that is the equal value of a thing payed in money, yet only when allowed by the damaged party instead of the actual lose by similar representation, such as beast for beast, thus an estimation of value must at times be set as to it’s equivalent with in the common-wealth in the event settlement of Restitution may be had by an acceptable medium of exchange, and that set by God’s Sanctuary.

Beyond the days of Abraham Adam’s people have been using precious metals as this medium of exchange.

Gen 13:2 And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.

Both precious and common metal weighed as Shekels (ShQuL), a Shekel is simply a determined weight current at a given instance or time, or as currency among a Common-Wealth; in the case of Israel’s “The Sanctuary’ is to assay the shekel or weight that is currency:

Lev_27:25 :

And all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.

This shekel was assayed in 3 precious metals, which until the 1900’s did not change in European societies.

Exo_25:3 And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass,

(copper: biblically known as Brass, not to be confused with the modern alloy of zinc and copper)

Bibically speaking the word for current money and Silver are one and the same, KeCeF. Silver was the common money of the common people, not withstanding the more valuable gold and less valuable copper coinage.

Thus the Law of God dictates from the commoner to the priest such law:

Lev_19:35 Ye shall not act unrighteously in judgment, in measures and weights and scales.

Lev 19:36 There shall be among you just balances and just weights and just liquid measure. I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.

Lev 19:37 Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the LORD.

AND

Deu_25:13 Thou shalt not have in thy bag divers weights, a great and a small.

Deu 25:14 Thou shalt not have in thine house divers measures, a great and a small.

Deu 25:15 Thou shalt have a true and just weight, and a true and just measure, that thou mayest live long upon the land which the Lord thy God gives thee for an inheritance.

Deu 25:16 For every one that does this is an abomination to the Lord thy God, even every one that does injustice.

When the word ‘weight’ is used in Lev_19:35 it is translated from the Hebrew word M-ShQuL, and is specifically dealing with the aspect of Currency or Money, that is the medium of exchange with in the Common-Wealth of Israel.

In Speaking of money we speak of silver as the average standard of currency between men of that citizenship.

It is that in order for any commerce beside simple trade a valuation and estimation is of necessity to be had in any society which will govern upon Law, as to allow for brothers to stranger to deal Justly one with the other, as to determine fair dealings from stealing and theft. While any honest agreement for any thing, either in buying or selling or in the case of restitution, their is an estimation of value in a monetary sense as to aid Justice between in commerce or controversy.

Exo 21:18 And if men strive together, and one smite another with a stone, or with his fist, and he die not, but keepeth his bed:

Exo_21:19 If he rise again, and walk abroad upon his staff, then shall he that smote him be quit: only he shall pay for the loss of his time, and shall cause him to be thoroughly healed.

As well

Exo 21:28 If an ox gore a man or a woman, that they die: then the ox shall be surely stoned, and his flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner of the ox shall be quit.

Exo 21:29 But if the ox were wont to push with his horn in time past, and it hath been testified to his owner, and he hath not kept him in, but that he hath killed a man or a woman; the ox shall be stoned, and his owner also shall be put to death.

Exo 21:30 If there be laid on him a sum of money, then he shall give for the ransom of his life whatsoever is laid upon him.

Exo 21:31 Whether he have gored a son, or have gored a daughter, according to this judgment shall it be done unto him.

 

Within the Common-Wealth of Israel the simple and intrinsic Common law of God couples Just measures and weights and scales by a monetary system using the ordained hard currency of Gold, Silver and Copper according to the precept of it’s Common purity, estimated and assayed by the Sanctuary, that is the same God ordained authority that over sees Judgment with in the Common-Wealth according to: Deu_17:9, Deu_19:17, they are the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days.

Therefore, by debasing the monetary system of the Common-Wealth with injustice or counterfeit coinage, as to adulter it’s purity commanded by precept, or to to attempt to replace hard money, by any person of any rank, is a debasement of the effectiveness of the justice of the Common-Law, and a robbery upon the Nation as a whole: such monetary debasement over turns the 1st commandment, as well, it is both an undercover attempt to man-steal the citizens of the Common-Wealth, along with a way to steal property and possessions of the Nation.

By the severity of the impact of debasing a hard and lawful money system is so severe that the use of any man made or fiat means, such as our modern use of Paper and or Electronic Bank transfers of contrived credits called money, would create a ‘monetary’ like system that would be controlled by the creators of the system, which would in effect control the holders and users of the contrived wealth. And thus the proverb which we are taught (1Ti_6:10) that the love of money is the root of all evil allows those who love to creator money to create all evil, as well as to get away with all evil with it; thus a government or banking system such as had today may easily escape the recourse of actual restitution even though that system may compensate an injured party, yet they do so with nothing, except for a currency they created out of thin air.

To allow the monetary system of a people to be controlled by a non-substance, such as paper and or electronic transfers, inevitably sets that society up for control by the selfish will of it’s creator…which is not YHWH God Almighty.

The Worst Forms of Stealing

Exo_21:16 And he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.

Deu_24:7 If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away from among you.

Within the Common-Wealth of Israel among the most heinous thefts a Citizen or Brother may commit is that of man-stealing.

Yet consider our modern day standard: In the matter of an arrest and detainment of an adult person, in some events the men or women are imprisoned and their freedom taken, in biblical language is man-stealing when the time In such Ward is not being used to determine the detained’s fate as to life or death.

“In-Ward”

Biblically, the status called “In-Ward” (Gen_40:3; Gen_40:7; Gen_41:10; Lev_24:12; Num_15:34) is the only time a Brother may be detained by Law, and it’s sole use it to determine life or death, with out such a status, especially when any form of price is attached to the persons release, it is Man-Stealing; the lawful examples found in Lev_24:12; (In one cercumstance we have a 1st generation Egyptian man born to an Israelite woman who blasphemed the Name of YHWH by cursing, by Deuteronomy 23:7-8 this man was not an Israelite nore would his child be for 2 more generations, thus In-Ward is used for the Stranger that is not of thy people), and in Num_15:34 (In-Ward is used upon a Citizen who broke the Sabbath wilfully, and was ass well put to daeth.)

Due to the prior understanding laid out from the prior commandments (found in this series) particularly that of the 5th Commandment pertaining to Parents, the absolute authority and ownership of children within the Common-Wealth resides in those children’s life givers, the contained in the generative Parents and lead in Headship by the Fathers. Thus, when another of any rank comes from the out side of this Righteous Paternal Headship and takes away another’s child with out absolute and evident consent of the Head holder, which may be had in hired or indentured servitude of ones Own Child, this act of taking a child with out consent, however, we now call Kid-Napping, but in Reality and according to YHWH God’s Law it is Man-Stealing as well.

Exo 22:3 If the sun be risen upon him, blood for him; he should make full restitution; if he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.

Exo 22:4 If the theft be certainly found in his hand alive, whether it be ox, or ass, or sheep; he shall restore double.

In the case of this particular theft two words from the Greek and Hebrew must be reconciled and the then the aspects of verse 3 as well need applied in context.

במחתרת / B-Me-HeThR-Th literally saying: double prefix B-in & M-from or of. together meaning With-in or by it: in the act of +HeThR: Digging, Braking, Rowing: the Idea of Uncovering (see Jer_2:34) + Th: shalt be, they are (femanin construct) = English: they are uncovered (discovered) within. Leaving us with the plain Idea of what we call breaking and entering, tresspassing, or burglary, (while not being limited to night time activity) Yet night activity would automatically constitute undercover actions.

In the Greek LXX the word διορυγματι / Dio-Rugmati is used.

The word Dio or Dia G1223 ..In composition it retains the same general import: – after, always, among, at, to avoid, because of (that), briefly, by, for (cause) . . . fore, from, in, by occasion of, of, by reason of, for sake, that, thereby, therefore, X though, through (-out), to, wherefore, with (-in).

And Rugmati which may be seen in Titus 1:3 used with the prefix of κή / KeH

Rugus may indicate the English: to make a ‘Ruckus’

Thus in a compound understanding the same Idea is conveyed, that is in the discovery or uncovering of one, in this case the Greek speaks to the aspect of alarm. ‘they be within ruckus’.

It is by such an understanding that the understanding is offered that when the worst form of thief is found in the act of theft with in ones possession, and that thief is harmed or killed there is no case for recourse for that thief, or for charges of murder against the defender of his possession for such an action against a thief, day or night who he is caught in the act. Yet, according to verse 3

Exo_22:3 If the sun be risen upon him, blood for him; he should make full restitution; if he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.

In this aspect of the verse it seem to indicate liability to the protector of his stuff and the restitution owed by the thief. The mention of the sun, is not to differentiate between day and night but indicate the length of time that had passed from the smiting and incident, therefore, consider this compound understanding ” If a thief is uncovered and he be smitten and die no one should bleed for the killing of the thief. But if the smitten thief live until another morning and be then killed by the own it is murder as the thief has been subdued, rather the caught thief is to pay restitution after the following morning by servitude, by the evaluation according 4 or 5 times the original theft or in equal value, as per verse 1 or by no less than 2 times according to Exo_22:4 And if the thing stolen be left and be in his hand alive, whether ox or sheep, he shall restore them two-fold.

Thus within the Common-Wealth of Israel, Governed by YHWH God’s Common Law, man committing undercover theft upon anther’s possessions would be non-existent and those with such tenancies would be swiftly culled from the flock or taught by the Justice of Restitution.

Before leaving off from the Idea of theft punished by Capital, the Justice of Almighty God speaks to the easily comprehensible maxims of His Perfect Law, as to deal with those thefts which would be interposed upon another and lead to the eventual or immediate death of the victim:

And so such Laws as well stand as the standard of Justice such as:

Exo_22:26-27 If thou at all take thy neighbour’s raiment to pledge, thou shalt deliver it unto him by that the sun goeth down: For that is his covering only, it is his raiment for his skin: wherein shall he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear; for I am gracious.

Deu 24:6 No man shall take the nether or the upper millstone to pledge: for he taketh a man’s life to pledge.

Setting the example of the 2nd Protos Commandment operating upon Charitable Love:

Lev_19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

Evasion of Compensation and Liability is Stealing

Exo 22:5 And if any one should feed down a field or a vineyard, and should send in his beast to feed down another field, he shall make compensation of his own field according to his produce; and if he shall have fed down the whole field, he shall pay for compensation the best of his own field and the best of his vineyard.

Exo 22:6 And if fire have gone forth and caught thorns, and should also set on fire threshing-floors or ears of corn or a field, he that kindled the fire shall make compensation.

Exo 22:7 And if any one give to his neighbour money or goods to keep, and they be stolen out of the man’s house, if the thief be found he shall repay double.

Exo 22:8 But if the thief be not found, the master of the house shall come forward before God, and shall swear that surely he has not wrought wickedly in regard of any part of his neighbour’s deposit,

Exo 22:9 according to every injury alleged, both concerning a calf, and an ass, and a sheep, and a garment, and every alleged loss, whatsoever in fact it may be, –the judgment of both shall proceed before God, and he that is convicted by God shall repay to his neighbour double.

Exo 22:10 And if any one give to his neighbour to keep a calf or sheep or any beast, and it be wounded or die or be taken, and no one know,

Exo 22:11 an oath of God shall be between both, each swearing that he has surely not at all been guilty in the matter of his neighbour’s deposit; and so his master shall hold him guiltless, and he shall not make compensation.

Exo 22:12 And if it be stolen from him, he shall make compensation to the owner.

Exo 22:13 And if it be seized of beasts, he shall bring him to witness the prey, and he shall not make compensation.

Exo 22:14 And if any one borrow ought of his neighbour, and it be wounded or die or be carried away, and the owner of it be not with it, he shall make compensation.

Exo 22:15 But if the owner be with it, he shall not make compensation: but if it be a hired thing, there shall be a compensation to him instead of his hire.

Stealing Chastity

Exo 22:16 And if any one deceive a virgin that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her for a wife to himself.

Exo 22:17 And if her father positively refuse, and will not consent to give her to him for a wife, he shall pay compensation to her father according to the amount of the dowry of virgins.

Stealing by Usury

And if thou shouldest lend money to thy poor brother who is by thee,

Thou shalt not be hard upon him thou shalt not exact usury of him.

Exo_22:25

The word Usury is not a word used nowadays nearly as much as in the past, this most likely due to modern societies’ desire toward exacting usury as well as having it exacted upon them as to satiate all wants beyond need.

When one speaks of usury, we speak of the Idea of gain upon the principal or original sum payed by the debtor for Using another’s wealth. Today we call this Interest. Some in our modern day who would wish usury to only be what they have termed “excesive interest” oppose the strictness by which Nehemiah believed God to have demanded in His Common Law for Israel when he rebuked the nobles and ruler for exacting 1/100th % and to prove it’s understanding as no meaning less than 1 % the nobles and rulers response to the rebuke was, “We will restore them, and will require nothing of them…” (Neh_5:11-12)

No matter what the substance loaned is:

Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:

Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it. Deu 23:19-20

True Brotherly Love

When two citizens, yea brothers, are dealing with one and other, as to be in benefit for the Common- Wealth, that is to be Patriotic in the patriarchal sense, ones own people His Brethren are preferred as to establish the Kingdom by love and charity. The true citizen od the Common-Wealth of Israel is in fact brothers by flesh and bone and common parentage to his fellow citizen, it is by such a division between brothers, as to rule over one another with rigor (Lev_25:43) with in the lose of sight of the fear of God we divide our nation, it is as well by Not dividing our selves from all other peoples who are not our brothers, that the universal destruction of all peoples shall creep in as a thief, allowing the stranger to spoil the Common-Wealth which he is forbidden from entering.

Lev_25:35 And if thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger (GuR), or a sojourner (resident alien); that he may live with thee.

Lev 25:36 Take thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee.

Lev 25:37 Thou shalt not give him thy money upon usury, nor lend him thy victuals for increase.

Lev 25:39 And if thy brother that dwelleth by thee be waxen poor, and be sold unto thee; thou shalt not compel him to serve as a bondservant:

Lev 25:40 But as an hired servant, and as a sojourner, he shall be with thee, and shall serve thee unto the year of jubile:

Lev 25:41 And then shall he depart from thee, both he and his children with him, and shall return unto his own family, and unto the possession of his fathers shall he return.

Lev 25:42 For they are my servants, which I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: they shall not be sold as bondmen.

For an example of the intertwining relationship theft has with usury, and usury against Ethnic homogeneity and the well being of a Nation, the context of Love for God and neighbor according to the Protos commandments of God’s Law found, Neh 5:1-19 is a strongly recommended study.

Stealing, Theft, Robbery and Usury no mater of what it is, or of what the statute evaluates it’s Restitution at is a destructive force when allowed in a society, especially a Biblical Society. Its violation as stated prior in prior messages strikes at the very heart of God’s Kingdom, which in fact strikes at the New Covenant. Though theft may be among the least crimes to be committed in society, it is among the most severe Sins to be allowed to go unpunished.

So hear we are if we would consider that it has been exactly 7 months to the day according to the moon’s 10th day that our Passover lamb would have been selected, so 7 – 10th days of the moon have occur at the day of Atonement, of course the Day of the triumphant entry of Christ as well into the Jerusalem and the Temple. The Day of Atonement was a day when the scapegoat and the YHWH’s goat of Atonement would be selected as well on the 10th day of the 7th month…

Let us read:

Lev_23:26 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Lev 23:27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

Lev 23:28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.

Lev 23:29 For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.

Lev 23:30 And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.

Lev 23:31 Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

Lev 23:32 It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.

As always this chapter of Leviticus shows the Feasts/ Seasons or Appointed times of the LORD, MUODI YHWH; among those times of special worship to be memorialized is this special day, a special Sabbath, even 23:32 a Sabbath of Sabbaths, or a Sabbath of Rest, a Rest of Rests. Yet in this Chapter YHWH does not call this a feast but a day, a day of Atonement, from what I have found, unless I’ve missed something, the day of Atonement is not a MUOD, that is it is not a feast in the same way all of the other feasts are, nor is it a cHaG but a Day. This is interesting because the Day of Atonement is the only day called a Sabbath which is not aligned with what we call the quarterly phases of the moon, what we as Heavenly Sabbath keepers call feasts or seasons the MUODIM of the Hebrew Scriptures. The Day of Atonement happens on the 10th day, started as all other Heavenly days on the evening prior of the very tail end of the 9th Day technically, yet it is reckoned as the 10th. The Day of Atonement is a Sabbath, yet it is not a MUOD or feast appointed in the same way as the regular Sabbaths and new moon’s are, as Psa 104:19 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down., a verse most of us understand to explain the usage of the Moon to show the Lev 23 and Gen 1 season’s or MUODIM Sabbath, yet again the Day of Atonement is not among the MUODIM, however, due to it’s reckoning according to the lunar cycle as dictating months it’s very Day is reckoned according to the moon. This point is an important part of Heavenly Calendric understanding, as it substantiates an important suppositions of Lunar Sabbatarianism: That the other feasts mentioned are MUOD ‘s because they are in alignment with the quarterly phases upon which we sabbath regularly and 2 that like the Day of Atonement, so are other days reckoned my the moon while being governed by the sun due to day light; the last point perhaps unnecessary to be said.

The day of Atonement is a Day that is entirely special to YHWH, yet it is out side of the regular Sabbath cycle of the MUODIM signaled in conjunction with the signs of Gen_1:14 as specified in Exo_31:13, yet this day is deemed with the status of Sabbath, the intensity is added A SABBATH OF SABBATH’s thus for the reasons which we as men may only speculate upon YHWH has chosen this 10th day of the 7th New moon of the Heavenly and Agricultural year to be A day of Atonement a Sabbath of Rest to the children of Israel.

The word Atonement is in Hebrew KiPR or plural KiPRYM, a word which indicates generally a covering, the word is employed for the first time when Noah covered the Ark in pitch as to water proof it for to make it water tight and float in Gen_6:14, the word is also used when talking of the manna covering the face of the ground like hoarfrost in Exo_16:14, as well in Exo_25:1-40 when we read of the mercy-seat we are as well reading the word the KiPR-th, which is of course the object that YHWH commanded the high priest to appear before on the day of atonement, though out the scriptures this word is also randomly translated: forgiveness, ransom, sum of money and a few other odds and ends that imply in one way or another a COVERING, the Idea of the Hebrew word KiPR is a covering, the so called mercy seat was a covering or lid upon the ark, yet upon that covering the blood was placed as the legitimate covering upon the Day of atonement.

The Day of Atonement was for the people a Sabbath or Rest accompanied by soul affliction shown by fasting, sack cloth and ashes from a purely scriptural understanding, yet to the priest we find a bit of work when we read about the scapegoat, YHWH’s sacrificial goat, the washings every time he would leave the Holy place and re enter, the sabbath was the peoples part, as well as the soul affliction, to this the Priest was to endure as well on top of his duties that would only occur on this day..Some times at the height of fasting on this day I think of what it must have been like to be the priest before the altar of YHWH and smelling that sweet savor of roasting and burning flesh while not eating that day, it wouldn’t help.

But why did the people do this? did they believe they were atoning for their sins by sabbath and fasting? No that was the priests part of the Nation, it was he who made atonement, or covering for the people of Israel from the stranger with in his gate to his own family, they were all covered by the blood he sprinkled upon the altar, the atonement made on that day… but we even today still follow in this order, for those who fast today the power of atonement was never in the power of the common people but in the high priest and his God ordained office to make a covering for the people.

Consider:

Lev_16:29 And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:

Lev 16:30 For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD.

Lev 16:31 It shall be a sabbath of rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, by a statute for ever.

Lev 16:32 And the priest, whom he shall anoint, and whom he shall consecrate to minister in the priest’s office in his father’s stead, shall make the atonement, and shall put on the linen clothes, even the holy garments:

Lev 16:33 And he shall make an atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar, and he shall make an atonement for the priests, and for all the people of the congregation.

Lev 16:34 And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the LORD commanded Moses.

THE PATTERN OF THE HEAVENLY

We may safely conclude, however, that this office and function is being fulfilled in the tabernacle in the heavens.

So, here is a simple crash course on how I believe this function of temple worship is happening today.

Exo_25:40, Act_7:44;

Heb_8:5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

Heb 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

Heb_9:6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.

Heb 9:7 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:

Heb 9:8 The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:

Heb 9:9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;

Heb 9:10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.

Heb 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

Heb 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

Heb 9:13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:

Heb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Heb_9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

In this way on the Day of Atonement we as New Covenant recipients must keep in mind that the fasting we do, the affliction of our soul which we endure, which in truth is light compared to the suffering which could be, and the Sabbath we keep out side of the regular cycle of the weekly MUOD is only the reasonable service that we on earth present our selves for, before the atoning priest Jesu(s) the Christ, who executes this office in the tabernacle in the heavens, which is the true Tabernacle which Moses saw and patterned that which is earth of; yet even in the time of Moses if there was a pattern in Heaven there was a Temple, and if a Temple a ministration of the Temple, and a function executed by those ministers and the High Minister or High Priest. We can not speak of those things we have not seen not those things we have not read or heard, but we may safely conclude that YHWH had this service being executed by heavenly ministration as a pattern for Israel on earth since time unknown.

Now the word used for the word propitiation or Atonement in the post Christian scriptures of the new testament KJV ant it is the word used G2434 hilasmos in

Num_5:8 But if a man have no near kinsman, so as to make satisfaction for his trespass to him, the trespass-offering paid to the Lord shall be for the priest, besides the ram of atonement (εξ-ιλασεται which is Ex-hilasetai), by which he shall make atonement (G2434 hilasmos) with it for him.

Side by side these words are used, in the Hebrew the word is nearly identical KiPR, yet in the Greek Lxx the words show two different aspects of Atonement or propitiation, aspects which are important in understanding the work of Christ on our behalf, not that one needs that knowledge as it’s function is executed by Him, not us.

The interesting thought I’d like to offer is on the Greek word in the LXX used in place of the word KiPR, which is :

Ex-hilasetai is not represented by a Strong’s number because this word does not appear in the Greek new testament, rather the best way to show it is by looking at the prefix EX G1537, meaning or denoting origin (the point whence motion or action proceeds), from, out…added to the prior word hilase, which is best understood as a form of mercy and by implication, atonement and or propitiation.

That is literally an outer mercy, so when we read the scriptures on the Atonement that occurred throughout the Law but especially on the Day of outward mercy, the Idea of Biblical Hebrew Atonement in the Greek was not as much of a visual covering but of the act, some would say a more abstract understanding, yet defining as to the covering of mercy or atonement implied by the Hebrew, as every act of KiPR mentioned prior was a covering by mercy.

It is due to the reality of the Heavenly Tabernacle, which is the literal, that all the atonement of the atonement on earth could only ever be an outer atonement or outer mercy that had ever been and can ever be on earth it is only a pattern of the Heavenly Temple where the Son of YHWH Jesu(s) the Christ officiates as High Priest literally. and this is why we do not find the Greek word ex-hilas in the new testament scriptures, because Christ’s atonement was not a outer atonement it was the literal.

Thus when we as the people of God worship according to the law upon the day of atonement with humility, fasting and sadness we must never forget that the sacrifice of Christ was the true propitiation since time unknown, and that as we worship our High priest is made atonement for us as we due our part. The Day of Atonement is another example of faith shown by works as taught by the James the brother of our Lord

Jas_2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Jas 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

Though there are those who teach that the dead works of Heb_9:14 are the keeping of the works before ordained of the Law, we may boldly know better… that it is works with out faith which makes them DEAD, and more so we know that the blood of Christ purges our conscience from such sin which only leads to death.

Let our works be filled with faith and let them not be dead, having faith that our High priest makes atonement for his people.

Before judgment examine thyself,

and

in the day of visitation thou shalt find outer-atonement.

Humble thyself before thou be sick,

and

in the time of sins shew repentance.

Sir_18:20-21

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

nor thy cattle,

nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Exodus 20:8-11

Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee

And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt,

and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand

and by a stretched out arm:

Therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.

Deuteronomy 5:12-15

For those who may have never considered the idea of the Common Law for a Common wealth including a Common Sabbath, let me begin by saying Sabbath observation with out the Blood of Christ upon the alter of the temple of Heaven is empty, a New moon or feast day is empty with out the soul cleansing blood of the Lamb of God who gave himself for us to be a spotless church, so that at this time we as a people, as his people might have a sacrifice worthy for every day the Lord YHWH has given us, that in accordance with tenants of the New Covenant this 4th Commandment might as well be truly written on our heart, mind and soul according to the life of Jesu(s) Christ. BY GRACE WE ARE SAVED!

The 4th Commandment should never be forgotten by the ReNEWed Man, sanctified by the people of God, the people who are called by His name according to the prior Commandment of the 10, the people who have abandoned the Idols of their hearts or the laws of strange god’s beside the LORD YHWH according to the 2nd and 1st Commandment of the 10 as well. The very spirit of every Commandment spoken of thus far in this Compilation series on the Common Law of God resides in this Commandment, and this commandment resides in them, that the words of James may echo clearly in our ears and hearts

Jas_2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

As a reminder, the Law of God and in this case the Sabbath of the 4th Commandment is among the most reasonable service of Rom_12:1 by which we as Christians who are members of the Church present our selves as Living sacrifices “Holy and acceptable” before God. The Sabbath is in line with the good works the apostle Paul spoke of in Eph_2:10 : For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them, these are they according to Deu_28:9-10 which again tells us that if we shall keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways all people of the earth shall see that we are called by the name of the LORD.

It is biblically indisputable that the 4th Commandment establishing the Sabbath Day is a doctrine of specific worship and service appointed for the People who are called by the name of the God of the bible, and the act of making holy what he has deemed, sanctifying what he has sanctified is to walk in his ways.

While so called spiritual Christianity still, for the time being that is, meets on a collective day, the spirit of the 4th commandment has been stripped away from the once held reason why they met on that collective day; a situational context that may help describe the understanding which has been spoken of prior of following the Letter or the Spirit of any Law: in the case of the old rest day of Christendom, sunday, the command was only being observed by force, social construct, and tradition as the ‘Letter’ by a majority, this Letter eventually had no Spiritual impact due to it’s lack Spiritual make up, yet for those authorities that retained the law due to a true love for it’s effect upon healthy society, that is those who loved the law by the Spirit in it’s position as the 4th commandment, it was they who kept the Letter enforce. But once the authorities and minority concluded that the Letter of the Law was no longer Spiritual, and that the 4th commandment was abrogated in disregard to their grandfather’s doctrine, the Letter of that law was nothing more than the ink in a book called the “old testament”, the story of a Letter written in Stone.

This is due to a lack of desire by church goers to be called by God’s name as God proclaims Him self to be known, and a desire by the disobedient and gainsaying people to fashion a tolerant god that will abide in their heart according to their own laws, The having of another God before the God of the Bible, includes unfortunately the modern day Jesus,when he is the harbinger of self indulgence and self worship of the modern self destructing Church world, it is this guise of self which sits among those Idol’s that reside in the heart, an anti-Christ who many say is God, and who many who say they are Christian say “is in their heart”, it is by the residence of this anti-Christ Jesus, believed to be a law breaking son of the God of the bible, the God who wrote this very law of Sabbath into the table of stone with his own finger and numbered it 4th.

As Such the Jesus in the heart of the church world of today is the Idol in violation of the 1st and 2nd commandment being. As well this Jesus of Sabbath breaking is not the Jesus who came in the name of YHWH according to the scriptures, who was a keeper of the 3rd commandment, which shows the Deu_28:1-10 National Lord proclaimed as He who came in the name of YHWH according to Psa_118:26 as stated by

Joh_12:13 : Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Rather than another Jesus and son of God which opposes the Commandments of His father we Have a Lord and Christ which boldly and loudly Proclaims “The Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath”. (Mar_2:28, Luk_6:5, Luk_13:15), a claim substanciated by the fact attested to by the testamony of Luk_4:16 … his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

The 4th Commandment was the Custom of the Christ! It is the Custom of the Christ-ian! Regardless of what the happy go lucky televangelist, radio preacher or the local pastor tells us, the Sabbath is a biblical fact and way mark of the Godly Christian life.

Some history to think about

The 4 commandment may be one of the most knowledgeably fought against Commandments by the world at large with only a rival of the 7th on adultery, a connection to be noticed. The idea of taking time which God has given us and keep it holy and sanctify it by rest and worship towards Him is particularly fought against by those who espouse themselves as followers of Christ. It is those who call themselves Christians that have done the most damage to this Commandment since the time of the roman church under Victor who condemned the more biblically lawful observance of Polycrates disciple of John, unto the time of Constantine in the 3rd century who enforced the Julian calendar (created by Julius Caesar) with the mated notation of the bishop of Rome by the guise of the treaty of Milan, which brought the non-Julian observers to surface under the guise of tolerance to the end that Rome might quash the opposition of the sunday church according to the Roman dictate; in more recent history after the establishment of the Julian week was excepted by most European Christians Reformationists and Puritians sought to apply God’s Law to ever level of Society, for the level of the 4th Commandment they sought to see sunday regarded as not only church day but as the sabbath of Christendom, to this the so called evangelical church even now opposes under the doctrine of anti-nomianism teaching for doctrine the abrogation of the 4th Commandment, that is mind you: the idea that the Christ of church fathers such as Polycrates, and the disciples of Luk 23:56 who’ rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.’ before attending to the body of the crucified Christ, as well the Christ of our so called protestant Reformers and Puritian fathers of faith who desired the regard of sunday as sabbath.

Thus, a once wise and understanding people, a people called by the name of Christ and of Christ’s God the Father have fallen to moral ignorance and blindness once again yet this time with the name of Christ on their lips and a copy of the book which can correct the fall, the damage has spread like a flood across the world to wash away the Law of God in it’s practical and most rudimentary application, by once again detaching Christ the King from the Kingdom Law, a law which He has been given by the inheritance of His Father YHWH, He Who Is God, the Ruler of Heaven and Earth, the God of Israel who penned every jot an titel upon the heart of the man Jesu(s) Christ.

A Church which keeps Sabbath

Regardless of at this point of what day you personally believe is the 7th day of the 4th Commandment is according to the weekly calendation; a subject intended to be gotten into by the end of this message.

Consider how important this 4th Commandment is to YHWH GOD, and as a recipient of the New Covenant: a Citizen of the commonwealth and Nation of Israel how important should it be to you and how important should it be to your Nation?

Exo_31:13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.

Exo 31:14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

The subject of the relavant importance of this Commandment to GOD should never be brought to question, the Commandment is so Important to the LORD Judge, that under His ordained order, under His Common Law, has determined the wilful violation thereof was worthy of Death in this life.

.Exo 31:16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

Exo 31:17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever

There is no case for those who wish to be the people of God and their children as the children of God, who willfully forget the Sabbath and it’s holiness, it’s sanctity, and it’s keeping, rather those who kick against the Sabbath by this scripture are Rejected as the people of God and can not be the Spirtual Israel spoken of in Rom_9:6-8…For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel… thus they are not the Israel of God, The LORD only accounts an Ethnic Israelite a true Israelite as He desired them when they desire His ways and His name to be upon their life, a people who desire to walk after the Spirit in the letter of the Law as best they can.

Yet again I must say for those who hear this message wrong: It is by pure Grace that we have within our grasp the LORD’s willingness to forgive, that the statement may always ring true “By Grace ye are saved” a Grace that is nevertheless through Faith, which work together as the gift of God, No not of our own works, nor of how well we keep any Commandment for we are sinners before the face of a holy God, thus it is the Grace of God which is extended constantly to a rebellious and gainsaying people prone to selfish desire and self worship, that when the fullness of time may come in our lindividual life and in the life our Nation God may send the redemption of His the King into our life to use as our battle cry against sin : BY GRACE WE ARE SAVED!

Consider the message YHWH gave Ezekiel for the rebellious house of Israel:

Eze 20:16 Because they despised my judgments, and walked not in my statutes, but polluted my sabbaths: for their heart went after their idols.

Eze 20:17 Nevertheless mine eye spared them from destroying them, neither did I make an end of them in the wilderness.

Eze 20:18 But I said unto their children in the wilderness, Walk ye not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols:

Eze 20:19 I am the LORD your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them;

Eze 20:20 And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.

The Sabbath Day is among the most pressing proofs of the service and worship of the God of the Bible, and the willful or ignorant disregard is among the most proving evidence of ones service or involvement in another system of law or morality. Willful is continuously said due to our great shame as Nation, that is a Genetic people who even if ignorant to the vastness of the Manners and Common Customs of the bible we have decidedly neglected the Creation account with it’s Exclamation point, THE SABBATH DAY!

Ignorant is continuously said, because many now do not even think about the 4th Commandment in it’s simplest sence, let alone examine the scripture for an understanding of it’s importance, this started by past generation’s willful neglect thereof.

The point made in absolutely every account of Sabbath’s observation found in the scripture, is the Testimony of YHWH’s 6 days of work followed by the Sabbath day of Rest and the Command, not the recommendation, of His people to do the same, people that are to be like Him and in His Image, a people that are to be holy as He is Holy. A Command made for man as a liberty of Rest and relaxation intended as part of the holy worship of YHWH the creator and sustainer.

Thus, the Children of Israel are Commanded to make subject all thing in their power by the letter to engender the Spirit:

thou, thy son, thy daughter, thy manservant, thy maidservant, thy cattle, thy stranger that is within thy gates:

For in Six Days the LORD YHWH Made Heaven and Earth,

and

On the Seventh Day He Sabbathed, and was Refreshed.

The simplicity of a Common day of worship and Rest in the Name of God the creator is a unifying aspect of the Biblical Church and people. When the sabbath is used lawfully the Commonwealth is unified even by the act of desistance of all labor and business. Consider the blue laws so called, that enforced the desistance of sunday business:

By this family was encouraged, the churches were encouraged, American and European work ethic was supported, the benefit of a Common day of worship was an observably positive part of society, and regardless of my convictions against the keeping of sunday, it must be admitted as a good thing for European people to remember the God of the Biblical creation story, as well the keeping of sunday as a Nation had it’s benefits of the papal tradition placed upon the day known as sunday that is that it was the day of the Resurrection of Christ, and by that tie of events of biblical creation and christ’s Resurrection it was assumed by the non-christian peoples that America, United Kingdom, Europe and South Africa and so on were Christian Nations: Just in the topical keeping of sunday this assumption was made by the citizen and the stranger, due to it’s law upon a society and it’s reverence by the society; a reverence which made the antithesis such as the Speakeasy: a place to go in secret to do business on sunday, eat or get a drink, it was the social tolerance of such that began the repeal of the blue laws. To make the matters worse the churches, particularly evangelicals heaped up the anti-nomian doctrine teaching that the law and commandments had been done away, lead by anti-christian portions of society such as businessmen, jews, atheists and communists all lobbying to repeal the blue laws, to change western culture toward self gratification The repeal in some states happened like this: first the businesses of necessity must be aloud to open, restaurants and grocery stores People need food! department and clothing stores people need clothes! as well as a nice out fit for church, ehh? Soon everything fell under the guise of necessity and who ran the stores and restaurants? The original non-sabbatarians, the non-church goers of course, but eventually the church goers concluding from the fat preachers sermon one sunday teaching that it couldn’t possibly be a sin to do a little shopping on grandpa and grandma’s day of rest: so began to use the stores by the populous, sales went up and no further proof was needed for the necessity, so much that church goers eventually couldn’t ‘afford’ to not work on some sunday’s, bt as long as the offering plate was filled on sunday night or wednesday night the fat preachers didn’t mind work rather than church, besides “it’s a christian liberty”.

The sunday churchers of America would have done well to observe the words of the prophet Amos:

Amo_8:4 Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,

Amo 8:5 Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah (measure) small, and the shekel (money) great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?

Amo 8:6 That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?

Amo 8:7 The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works.

Amo 8:8 Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein?

I hope the mention of Amos’s rebuke for those who desire to do business on the sabbaths and new moons is thought provoking to the prior point, in context it may be read that Amos is describing the abandonment of the new moons and Sabbath’s of the Heavens started by the businessmen who supported the religious system of Samaria, Dan and Beersheba, a system that 1Ki_12:33 tells was started by a calendar change devised by a King’s heart.

One of the reasons the days which our European people used in times past, under Papal and pagan persuasion, have been unable to establish a consistent sabbath day of worship is because of the judeo christian duplicity found on the subject and more damningly the non-intrinsic and thus sign-less basis of the days so named Saturnday and Sunday as well as the whole weekly system. Consider how Commonly in our society saturns day is considered the 7th day of the calendar week of the Gregorian calendar system established by Pope Greg the 8th upon the Julian model which originally used weeks of 7 and 8 days, yet sunday as has been described has overwhelmingly been the day devoted to Sabbath like worship, yet it is regarded as the 1st day of the calendar week. This ability to change the day of worship from the Grego 7th day saturns day to the 1st day sunday is claimed openly to be so by the Papal church authority. Yet in truth this authority is not due to the fact that God has given such power to men, but that the whole calendar system is undeniably derived from it’s Creator MEN: Julius Caesar and Pope Greg the 8th and Not YHWH God, this is easily witnessed by the lack of witness about which day is the Sabbath…there is no sign associated at all with either day.

The 4th creation day ordaining the lights of Heaven must in Reality be closely connected to the 7th day of Rest, the Sabbath of the 4th commandment, easy enough to remember. As a Common Law of a Genetic and National People our Law’s must not be abstract like the grego calendar we live under today, rather it must be organic, that is intrinsic to nature as a fact to the nature of the law of YHWH God: it can never be abolished or changed; thus a Truly Heavenly calendar can not be altered, only ignored or forcibly dissuaded by masters of men.

In the Catholic roman construct of their churches feasts, Sunday takes the precedence, when one studies the history of Easter, X-mas, Lent and sunday Pentecost according to the papal tradition sunday is always the focus point seen clearly in the accepted determination of Anatolius of Alexandria who lived around the year A.D. 230-280, a great mathmatition and man of science who used his God given knowledge to contradict the lunar sabbath of Passover being observed by Christians of Europe and Asia, for the aim of substantiating the keeping of sunday, to replace passover and to establish Easter.

The Julian calendar reformation of Pope Gregory the 8th of the 15 hundreds, when the Julian calendar had noticeably slipped past nature to the eventual detriment of society, the church of Rome had need to wait and issue the adjustment of the calendar only once it had slipped to a time in alignment with the weekly cycle,14 days; As not to disturb the weekly cycle established by the prior Constantinian-Julian system used by the majority faithful, yet folks like George Washington who was born on the day we now use for leap year lost there b-day when the change was issued nearly 200 years after Pope Greg’s decree.

The Calendar of the God of the Bible which we will not begin to discuss is however Organic and Natural, based on observable and infallible proofs able to be witnessed by any one upon the earth in his own voice and language. The only objection which distorts this voice and language is the voice of a man, like a Pope, Emperor or Congress who can only condemn and punish those who will not obey the man made order:

Since the time of Pharaoh king of Egypt who refused to let Israel celibate the feast of YHWH unto Polycrates bishop of Ephesus condemned for celebrating the lunar sabbath of Passover and unleavened bread the words of Daniel persist:

Dan_7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws…

 

While men and rulers of men may seek to change the times and laws of God, it is not in their power, rather the opposite it fact:

Blessed be the NAME of God for ever and ever:

for wisdom and might are his:

And he changeth the times and the seasons:

he removeth kings, and setteth up kings:

he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

A Heavenly and Agricultural alternative to the Pagan Julian Gregorian Calendar

the 4th Commandment not only governs the rest day in the Commonwealth, but the whole calendar system of the Commonwealth.

YHWH’s order is a Heavenly order an order man can not alter, while man may ignore it, it is ever there as a reminder to the people of Israel in connection with the signs of Genesis creation and the Sign of Exodus 31’s sabbath as a reminder of God’s Grace wither Israel knows it or not, YHWH is faithful:

Jer 31:35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:

Jer 31:36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.

The Heavenly Sabbath is a constant reminder of the Commonwealth of Israel, this Ethnic Nation of Israel is preserved by the King of the Kingdom of Heaven a Kingdom of God:

As most know, who listen to this ministries material know that we follow a Heavenly Calendar comprised of the lights of heaven according to Gen_1:14-19, which lights consist of the Sun, Moon, and Stars; by the three lights mentioned YHWH declares their purpose to be for Signs, Seasons, Days and Years and for Light upon the earth; The 7th day we believe is the accurate Sabbath of God, specifically seen in Exo_31:13 as a ‘sign’ and in Lev_23:2-3 a ‘season or feast’ both translated from the same Hebrew word found in Gen_1:14 ‘moed’, thus this Sabbath day is based purely upon the Heavenly lights of God’s 1st day and 3rd day creation. This system is often called lunar Sabbath, due to the intended overlap of the signs which the moon makes at the end of every week in it’s quarterly phases a 7th day which is enumerated from the new moon every month and holding the new moon as a feast in it’s own right insuperably attached to the last Sabbath of every month and continued into the 1st day of every month reckoned by the renewal of the new moon synonymous words in the Hebrew HeDeS ( pronounced by some as cHoDeSH), therefore the moon in it’s circuit in the Heavens making it’s phase signals the yearly and monthly weeks of the whole Calendar system of the Kingdom of Heaven.

It is from this point forward that due to the overwhelming interconnection found in the scriptures, which naturally or heavenly connects the Day, to the Weeks of Sabbath, to the Months to the Years, and the year to the greatest measurement of time mentioned in scripture the Jubilee, which is an enumeration of every 7 years, which like the new moon in correspondence to the 7th day sabbath out lined above, such is the count of 7 years restarted every 50 years.

As well as the overwhelming interconnection of the Sabbath according to the lunar cycle prior outlined are the Months of the biblical feastly cycle which make up the Agricultural Year, that is that every Sabbath day of this lunar cycle which fall upon the 1’st, 8th, 22nd, and 29th day of every month according to the new moon, in line with every festival named in scripture which has Sabbath days mentioned in it’s observance. Once this is considered from a biblical reality, this sabbath can not be ignored by the ardent bible law observer, as it ties the whole of the scripture together in one lineal system as far as time keeping is concerned.

The Sabbath produced by this Heavenly calendar is the repercussion of 2 very simple rules:

1. The Witness of the lights of Heaven

and

2. The application of Biblical Law as the Written Witness upon those lights we see.

In other words, no other 7 day cycle is capable of being seen in the lights of heaven that matches to the words of God’s law. There is no sign in the heavens, that dictates a sunday, or a saturns day, or any day of that so called week, but in alternative there is a Natural cycle to the moon which offers signs in it’s phases as way markers to the 7th day and seasons of appointed time.

All calendar observation seats upon the foundation of YHWH’s Rest day called the Sabbath, as found in the 4th Commandment, and of the creation week a seen pattern found in the year, month, week and day of the cultural Nation of Israel in the observance of their National feasts:

The Year because at it’s Agricultural start able to be marked for the geographic specific observer by the placement of the sun and moon in the stars, the stars work as the back drop or face of this Heavenly clock, if we may. By matching the Agricultural laws which we find primarily in

Deu_16:1 Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Passover unto the LORD thy God: for in the month of Abib the LORD thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night. the Brenton Greek LXX tells us:

Observe the month of new corn, and thou shalt sacrifice the passover to the Lord thy God; because in the month of new corn thou camest out of Egypt by night.

This is an important fact as witnessed by the creation week, as we see the Genesis basis as

Gen 1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the herb of grass bearing seed according to its kind and according to its likeness, and the fruit-tree bearing fruit whose seed is in it, according to its kind on the earth, and it was so.

Gen 1:12 And the earth brought forth the herb of grass bearing seed according to its kind and according to its likeness, and the fruit tree bearing fruit whose seed is in it, according to its kind on the earth, and God saw that it was good.

Gen 1:13 And there was evening and there was morning, the third day.

As we see the 3rd day of genesis creation before the reckoning of YHWH’s lights as Signs, seasons, days and years upon the 4th day, undoubtedly the heavens were arraigned in the creation of the heavens at the very beginning in some way yet it was at the 4th day that the earth began due to the 3rd day vegetation creation to use the light upon earth.

The Yearly cycle of the Bible is an Agricultural cycle which is marked by those who use all 3 lights of Heaven by the star sign called by most the Zodiak, but called in Job_38:32 Mazzaroth.

Once the Agriculture of the Abib or New Corn of Barley is established the first new month of the new year is signaled by the sign we called the new Moon; the new moon is the only signal in the Heavens which works in conjunction with the sun and stars to form an observable month pattern usable for the common farmer and the astronomer. The term new moon and new month and beginning of the month are synonymous in the Bible.

From the moon and it’s quarterly phase of light witnesses as well to the creation of the earth and the creation week, the new moon is born in darkness upon the end of a prior age but increases in it’s changing week by week or sabbath by sabbath until from it’s darkness it is seen as a true sign upon the 7th day of the month at evening, the following day being the 8th day of sun light according to the month.

And the Sabbath or week coming to it’s full perfection of it’s sign lead by the moon to proclaim the season and the intrinsic 7th day feast of YHWH Proclaimed by Lev_23:2-4 …Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts. Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings. These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.

According to Psa_104:19 it is the moon that was appointed for seasons, a word which in the Hebrew is moed (i, im) and is synonymous with the word feast, as in festival as well as the word season prior spoken of in Gen_1:14 .

The Sabbath is a season or feastival time of YHWH, as well the Sabbath is a heavenly sign according to Exo_31:13 , and as thus it is easily understood that from Gen_2:2-3 the sabbath to be appointed by the moon.

The philosopher Philo, a Judean who lived at the time of Christ spoke about the seventh day thus:

And the changes which the moon works in the air, it perfects chiefly in accordance with its own configurations on each seventh day.

And of the Day the smallest and yet greatest part of this Calendar system is as well a testament of the pattern of creation, not to be ignored, as it as well begins as all things in the darkness of creation by the setting of the prior age to be arisen again in time to break forth as the light of the world, to peek at it’s highest brightness at noon day and to set again to prepare for the rebirth of the next day as to hasten along the week, the month, and the year as the most integral part of the Heavenly clock we call calendar.

Within this Heavenly system YHWH has appointed times of this Agricultural year to be times of celebration, we in English also call these feasts, yet in Hebrew they are properly called cHaG H2282: A cHaG is distinct from a season or feast because it is the time period with in the two sabbaths which cap it off so to speak. For the New Covenant recipient there are 3 major annual Agricultural feasts or cHaGs, yet all together there are 1 Passover and Unleavened Bread, 2 Pentecost or feast of weeks, 3 Trumps, 4 Day of Atonement and 5 Tabernacles. The 3 major annual feasts that all males of Israel are required to celibate before YHWH are Celebrations of Agriculture, this is why in the Pentateuch we have the agricultural name for the celebration as well: Unleavened Bread/ Abib -New Ears of barley, Pentecost, the feast of weeks is First fruits of the wheat harvest, and Tabernacles is the feast of In gathering which is at the years end.

When using the Heavenly Calendar as explained prior, which as Lev 23 told us has the Sabbath at it’s base, the whole of the Agricultural Feastivals commanded by YHWH fall neatly and succinctly into place; just as the lay out for the feastivals are capped b two Sabbaths or holy convocation, so by use of the lunar cycle in allowing the moon to appoint seasons the Feast’s Sabbath are included in the regular sabbath cycle as natural building blocks in the month and year.

Now a lot of information on this subject is already available for any one who is willing to look on RNCM website, and free for down load, which will go into the subject of the feasts in much more great detail.

Yet I would like to end this particular message on this note:

Some have said to the few of us that I know, why is it that you don’t just keep the feast days with days that are on the calendar you get from the feed stone or grocery store? It would keep us all together. There are even some who have proposed that reckoning the festivals of YHWH by a realistic Agricultural approach ignores or denies the spring equinox, which is viewed as the start of the solar year, and I’m not arguing that it is not, and some of those questions will inevitably be in the minds of some of the listeners on the net. However, here is the reasoning of why I choose to follow, and I encourage other New Covenant recipients to follow in this fashion as well:

By observing the Calendar of YHWH according to the lights in the Heavens and over laying it upon the Organic, Natural, Intrinsic Agricultural Cycle the feasts of YHWH are no longer abstract archaic reading material, the feast become a Biblical Reality! A Biblical Reality that has the ability bring a Nation together before YHWH in a literal Celebration for all the goods and produce that He gives them by His good blessings! From a Christian Reconstruction mindset, the traditional papal calendar system with it’s abstract sunday and saturday can’t hold a candle to the Heavenly lights of YHWH’s system, the ignorance of Easter and X-mas can melt away in compared to the brilliance of the light of Christ’s Resurrection during the feast of unleavened bread when the actual wave sheaf from your own hand can bring the bead of life all the more close to your walk with him.

The 4th Commandment is not a commandment that only entails the rest and worship to be had at the end of every week, it is a unifying commandment meant to bring the men and families of Christian Israel together in worship as to keep them truly one Nation under God, a Nation who can simply look up into the heavens at any given time, but particularly at the Sabbaths and New moon and remember the sabbath is a sign, a sign made to appoint seasons which remind Israel that so long as the lights of Heaven are shining to the inhabitants of Earth YHWH will not forget you or cast you off!

Gen 9:15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

Gen 9:16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

Gen 9:17 And God said unto Noah, This is the token (sign , outh) of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

The 4th command is the only command that starts with remember / zekar, consider the rain bow is the same as the sabbath moon in many ways… it is seen and remembrance is had about a covenant, the thing seen is a sign / token.

The idea of remembrance is had from seeing a thing, a sign, token.

This can also be seen as we see another command of the law:

Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue: And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring: That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.

(Numbers 15:38-40)

you can see that remembrance is had by seeing the ribband, this is how we can seen that the sabbath really is a sign.

Deu 5:15 adds

And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.

as discussed, the word sabbath references rest, as well as the fulfillment day, the completion day. this is the thing to be remembered when it is seen. The rest God had in creating the earth, as well as the completion of creation and the fullness of the creating.

…to keep it holy.( lit. to hallow it)

In this way the Sabbath was consecrated thus by YHWH first in Gen 2, and this for the cause of Adam, that he would keep it pure, holy, sanctified, venerated and hallowed for the purpose of rest from labour and by extension for worship of the creator in place of work. The hallowing is a special setting apart specifically for resting in YHWH.

The keeping of the sabbath holy is one of those things which every soul must study out and define for them selves. It can be a sticky thing to get involved with your brethren or neighbors sabbath keeping.

there are divisions on many things, and your personal definition of one tenant of sabbathing may not be agreed on by those around you. In times when people took council from there elders, and heads of families he would most likly be the one to decide if one was willfully or ignorantly breaking the sabbath. Yet in a time when Israel is in such disarray, this thing must be focused on by the devoted head of house (grandfather, father, brother, step father (master), who ever you have as your highest God ordained authority. And if you are the only one observing, then you are left to your own research. Fathers should take this as a special part of their God ordained authority, to arrange the laws of God in your home as you can understand them. Don’t be afraid to take council, but do not pass the

buck. Very importantly, we should all respect our fellow brothers personal observations, in this world biblical reality is not the easiest thing to follow, nor is any lawful following, so especially on the sabbath, protect your self from the pitfall of self righteousness, while still walking circumspectly. I’m not implying to keep fellowship with those who willfully break their own understanding of the sabbath, or have none at all, with the exception of being a witness.

With that being said let us consider a few verses which are commonly viewed in an un-biblical realistic way…

Exo 35:2 Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.

Exo 35:3 Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.

It Gets cold enough to snow in Israel as the people knew what snow was well: Exodus 4:6; Numbers 12:10; 2 Samuel 23:20; 2 Kings 5:27; Job 6:16; 9:30; 24:19; 37:6; 38:22; Psalms 51:7; 68:14; 147:16; 148:8; Proverbs 25:13; 26:1; 31:21; Isaiah 1:18; 55:10; Jeremiah 18:14; Lamentations 4:7; Daniel 7:9; Matthew 28:3; Mark 9:3; Revelation 1:14;

So what do we do to keep warm on the sabbath?

maybe the Prohibition is on making the fire, as kindle means to start in English ?

No, the word kindle is the Hebrew word ‘bawr’ H1197, and is translated burn, burnt, burned more often than not. So simply it is “ye shall burn no fire…” What to do? Ignore? Justify? Break to stay warm?

Consider the context of Ex 35

1. Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together..

2. Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest…

3.kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.

4.Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass…on

5.goats’ hair, And rams’ skins dyed red, and badgers’ skins, and shittim wood,

6.oil, incense

7. stones

8. to make The tabernacle, his tent, and his covering, his taches, and his boards, his bars, his pillars, and his sockets,

Exo 35:12 The ark, and the staves thereof, with the mercy seat, and the vail of the covering,

Exo 35:13 The table, and his staves, and all his vessels, and the shewbread,

Most all of the things mentioned that needed to be made require fire. Smelting, drying, tanning,The context of Ex 35 and 36 is that work needed to be done, but don’t use working on the temple as a reason to break the sabbath, why else would this be the first thing said to the congregation be fore all the rest?

for me it is the best answer, if you wish to not have a fire on the sabbath then that is your studied opinion, I would, however, that you not judge me for my understanding , and just not invite me over on a freezing sabbath to see your conviction.

When trying to understand the sabbath, remember it is a realistic command, and must be attainable.

Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work…

Some say that labour is not commanded for six days, but it is here.

Most of the people who object to a Lunar Sabbath which holds the new moon as an extended sabbath period, argue that it is contrary to the 4th commandment. But is it? Ezekiel held the six working days as separated from the sabbath and the new moon.

Eze 46:1 Thus saith the Lord GOD; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened.

Not only is it practically seen for good health to be active and not ‘resting’ or sitting around every day, but only hard working people respect the festival aspect of sabbath keeping, especially the new moon when one spends much time away from family, friends and worship as well as study of the creators word.

The command to do something productive for six days consecutively at the least is not a burden, it is again another way YHWH shows his own self through his law, as his desire for his people. No mater what you do for work or what you consider labour if you are doing it for 6 days consecutively you will be more diligent in keeping the seventh sabbath day, the fulfillment day as holy, they will work hand in hand.

The new moon based sabbath proposed breaks the 4th commandment by having it’s first or last week of 8 days depending on the new moon and NOT having a consistent 7 day week through out.

Answer- While this is true that all lunar months will have no less than 8 days to the first week of a month of 29 days and if the moonth has 30 days, the last week directly before the 8 day first week will have 8 days as well. Yet this does NOT break the commandment for the following: The days of Sabbath are NOT working days, and simply comply with all sabbatical law that states ” Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath…”, by this harmony is found as YHWH speaks in Ezekiel 46:1 (as mentioned previously), the Sabbath and new moon are NOT among the “six working days”. This is the simplest way to harmonize the Sabbath command with the Creation laws of Genesis 1:14 leading us directly to the new moon.

Yes, our world view is a collection of cultured organisms which make up the environment we have come to call ‘our culture’, and for this cause much of what is to be pulled out of the ancient biblical culture via the bible’s laws, manners, customs, and language will seem foreign to us through our modern world view.

Most except a named day of the RC week (Sunday/Saturday or any other) in order to rest in a sabbatical sense there upon; choosing a day we are culturally accustomed to, using a system we are raised in is easy, switching Sunday with Saturday or visa versa (or any RC named day for that mater) gives the effort but is biblicly and/or naturally unprovable, having no way to show by any sign or token that it is the Seventh day / Sabbath of Biblical culture, sanctified by God . Rather those who hold such days insisting upon there sanctification offer an objection attainable to even an amateur history student or bible investigator.

Consider the cultural world view of the ‘Seventh day Adventist’, some quotes from E.G. White in her work “America In Prophecy” or “The Great Controversy”, in the chapter “Liberty of conscience threatened” par. 42:

…The boast of Gregory the VII and Innocent III are still the principles of the Roman Church…

QUESTION-‘How prove you that the Church hath power to ordain feasts and holy days?”

ANSWER- By the very act of changing the sabbath in to Sunday, which the Protestants allow of, and therefor they fondly contradict them selves by keeping Sunday strictly, and breaking most other feasts commanded by the same church.”

QUESTION-“How prove you that?”

ANSWER- “Because by keeping SUNDAY they ACKNOWLEDGE THE CHURCHES POWER to ordain feasts, and to command them under sin.” Douay Catechism, page 59.

E.G White makes good sense in quoting the above Catholic materials including a Catechism in order to show to her readers the logic in the Seventh day Adventist church in keeping a day called Saturday as the modern Jews do. Yet the likewise obviouslogic is failing by the same notion in not advancing the fact that the names of Saturday or Sunday in a repatitious seven day cycle are not determiners of the sanctified biblical Sabbath. Nor is a determiner of the sanctified biblical Sabbath what common day of the Roman Catholic week the Talmudic Jew keeps holy. It is thereby the same logic that should slate any part of the ‘calendar’ of Julius Caesar via Pope Gregory VIII as Pagan-Roman and Jewish-Catholic, and not fit to be used by the Biblical based Christian. The adherence to that ‘calendar’ system thus created and it’s weeks are proof of the power which controls the churches and business of the world (calendarium having come to be the Roman word for an account book or debt record), which are one in the same, easily seen in the 501-C3 tax exempt Churches, falling into Government control via debt records. Yet if you are a servant of YHWH God via the Blood of His Son, I recomend you attempt to give an account on His calendar!

In short, as proof exists in the fact that the day called Sunday was ordained the sabbath, as all other church feasts, by the Catholic church, so all named days of the Gregorian week and their very order, from Sunday to Saturday, have been ordained by another law and earthly ruler and not by YHWH God through the scriptures. The Catholic Church has the power of ordering the ‘sabbath’ of catholicity in as much as Catholicity has made the very ‘calendar’ system of which Saturday and Sunday are part of.

So it is in rebuttal to the above quote from the The Catholic Mirror Dec 23 1893 that I say: Yes, compromise is impossible, and let the scriptures accompanied by reason and sence lead us out of this Catholic box. Saturday’s being the ‘seventh day’, is only evident by counting days on the Pope’s Talmudic faith based ‘calendar’ weeks, yet having NO biblical or intrinsic proof of its own, I thus shall then keep protesting!

Ye Saturday Adventists may likewise ask your self as I do:

QUESTION- By what authority does the catholic church, and your beast of Revelations have to control what day of the week is the seventh?

ANSWER- ” They have NO power as time is to be determined by the lights of heaven as per Genesis 1. For by keeping SATURDAY you yet ACKNOWLEDGE THE CHURCHES POWER to ordain DAYS, and WEEKS (Dan 7:25change times and laws). in ignorance of Gen 1.”

1. Gen 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

All days in the creation account are listed as starting with evening and proceeding to morning. (this is not the main subject of this matter, however it is functional to determine time based entirely out of our evidence text, as well as an enduring way to witness for our selves in our modern time, as this compilation proceeds it must become evident why the prescription starts all numbered days at evening, and should be a perfect way to start the day / yom.

Here is a list of scripture verses to cross reference this thought, as proof from other biblical testimony that evening is the ending and beginning point of the biblical cultures day:

Gen. 1:5,8,13,19,23,31; 8:11; 19:1,24:11; 29:23; 30:16; Exo. 12:6, 18; 16:6,8,12,13, 29:39,41, 30:8; Lev. 11:24,25,27,28,31,32,39, 40: 14:46; 15:5,6,7,8,10,11,16,17,18,19,21,22,23,27; 17:15,22:7, 23:5,32; Num. 9:3,5,11,15, 19:7,8,10,19, 28:4,8, 19:7,8,10; Deu. 3:11, 16:4,6; Jos. 5:10, 10:27; Jdg 19:16; 2Ch. 18:34; Eze. 12:4,7, 24:18. And more!

All of the verses above show some thing ends and a new occur at this time called evening or even (old English: eve, lets look at it a little closer:

The Hebrew word is ערב– orb / arab, all of the below Strong’s numbers and definitions are the same ancient Hebrew word ” ערב “: From H6150; dusk: even (-ing, tide), night. H6150- (rather identical with H6148 through the idea of covering with a texture); to grow dusky at sundown: – be darkened, (toward) evening. H6148- to braid, that is, intermix; technically to traffic (as if by barter); also to give or be security (as a kind of exchange): – engage, (inter-) meddle (with), mingle (self), mortgage, occupy, give pledges, be (-come, put in) surety, undertake. H6151-(Chaldea); corresponding to H6148; to commingle: – mingle (self), mix. H6154-The second form used in 1Ki_10:15 with the article prefixed); from H6148; the web (or transverse threads of cloth); also a mixture, (or mongrel race): – Arabia, mingled people, mixed (multitude), woof.

Notice how every definition of ‘arab’ deals with becoming dusky, dark or mixing, the mention of the Arabian people as a mongrel race fits the context precisely, as they are light mixed with dark peoples. This is no chance, evening is when the day light mixes with the darkness of night, the period when time rulership of the sun transfers it’s rule to the lesser lights. This will be explained below by the scriptures further on.

2.Gen 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to:

A. divide(H914 –בּדל– bâdal-to divide (in various senses literally or figuratively, separate, distinguish, differ, select,etc.): – (make, put) difference, divide, separate (self, -ation), sever (out). between (H996 בּין– bêyn, In the same sense as in Gen 13:3…between Bethel and Hai. As well as in Gen 13:8…Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee…for we be brethren.) the day from the night. This special attention to the words badal and beyn in this context is caused for full understanding that as it was used in the other sited verses above it is used the same way in Gen 1:1-2. The governance of these lights are preeminent in day and night and it is by them that division is made between one day to the next, rather than just the simplicity of the sun setting behind your local horizon.

B. and let them be for signs(H226- אותowthrelated to H225/H853[- אתayth- Apparently contracted from H226 in the demonstrative sense of entity; properly self (but generally used to point out more definitely the object of a verb or preposition, even or namely): – (As such unrepresented in English / with the exception of the word “that”.] (in the sense of appearing); a signal, as a ensign, beacon, monument, omen, prodigy, evidence, etc.: – mark, miracle, (en-) sign, token.)

All the examples are usages of the Hebrew word owth: Cain’s mark –Gen 4:15, the rainbow as a token of the covenant to Noah’s children –Gen 9:13, Circumcision as a token of YHWH’s Covenant with Abraham –Gen -17:11, or a miracle signs in Egypt or the wilderness –Exo 4:8– An owth any where in the scripture is a thing that is able to be sensed by the human senses, most often seen, this fact is of much importance to our subject, as not only is the word owth strikingly similar to our English oath, as in to give by swearing or affirming. I have Also intentionally added to the evidence the word ayth, the reason being that it’s function is to point out the object in reference, just as the word owth, is a sign or signal to point out or token a thing.

C. and for seasons (H4150- מועדה מעד מועדmo-ade- From H3259; properly an appointment, that is, a fixed time or season; specifically a festival; conventionally a year; by implication, an assembly (as convened for a definite purpose); technically the congregation; by extension, the place of meeting; also a signal (as appointed beforehand): – appointed (sign, time), (place of, solemn) assembly, congregation, (set, solemn) feast, (appointed, due) season, (set) time (appointed). This Very important word shall be dealt with in detail below.

D. and for days H3117- יום– yôm-From an unused root meaning to be hot; a day (as the warm hours), whether literally (from sunrise to sunset, or from one sunset to the next), or figuratively (a space of time defined by an associated term), (often used adverbially): – age, day, days …(process of) time,

 

E. and years ( H8141- שׁנה– shânâh- from H8138 (to fold, that is, duplicate (literally or figuratively; by implication to transmute (transitively or intransitively): – do (speak, strike) again, alter, double;) a year (as a revolution of time).

Gen 1:15

F. And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth:

and it was so.

Gen 1:16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. (To him that made great lights:.. The sun to rule by day:.. The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever. (Psa 136:7-9)- If the context is some how difficult to understand in Genesis, let David explain so that there is no question what the greater and lesser lights are. We may day after day look to the heavens, even with out David’s psalm, life and common sense bears witness to the fact of what lights are greater and lesser.)

Gen 1:17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

Gen 1:18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

Gen 1:19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

The law listed above was set forth by YHWH to guide a able minded people through the ages, using the only true reference points we have to gauge time. It must be understood that most western calendars at this time measure nothing, but are generalized averages of time, divided as human dictates felt fit and ignored until an agricultural impact makes their failure self evident. Above, God teaches His creation and children to use the lights in heaven in order to keep track of true: signs , seasons, days and years.

I will now tie up this very simple reasons why we are in need of knowing the above defined information as it pertains to our understanding the Sabbath/seventh day of scripture. In so much as the Sabbath is a portion of time, it must therefore be defined as time is know in the scriptures. YHWH God would not set forth the laws governing time by the lights of heaven contained in Gen 1:5-15 and then ignore those organic laws of creation in order to establish another system solely devoted to a “sabbath day” styled system of weeks believed to be found in focusing solely on Gen 2:1-3; nay, but Almighty God’s order is laid out for us plainly and logically, so simple that children should see it and be able to follow the fourth commandment which is naturally related in order to the first laws on time keeping.

It is here then that focus is on what the lights tells us as it pertains to the Gen 2 account of sabbath.

As the sabbath is the seventh day (Yom) it is governed by all three lights in the heavens: Sun, Moon, and Stars (For His mercy endureth forever!) as scripture teaches us. I have matched the letters to the above for ease of referencing the additional points noted on language and logic.

Starting at:

B. The lights are for signs (owth), that is conveying or communication by the lights seen as to an event. The lights will be witness to us of the time it is.

In the scripture does the sabbath fit this? Is the sabbath / seventh day and owth?

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign ( owth- אותH226)1. between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am YHWH that doth sanctify you. Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to YHWH: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign ( owth אותH226) between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six daysYHWH made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed… (Exo 31:12-18)

Accordingly the Sabbath is a sign / owth, which as proven by multiple examples, is a thing able to be sensed by the human senses: Cain’s mark, the rainbow, circumcision, or miraculous signs, they are seen to witness a covenant that God will do as he has said; just as the Sabbath witnesses the seventh day rest after creation, that ye may know that I am YHWH that doth sanctify you. The Sabbath is both a covenant and the sign of it, just as circumcision is both an action done as well as a covenant made in the flesh, felt and able to be seen. Consider the language of this excerpt from Gen 17:2-14:

And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly… behold, my covenant is with thee… And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee… And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations. This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised. And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token / sign( owth אותH226) of the covenant betwixt me and you. And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed…

This comparison is a clear cut issue of how covanental signs / tokens (owth(s) work, the statements are close to identicle in order; the Sabbath is no diferent, in that it is: a Sign (owth) between YHWH and His people, a(n) everlasting / perpetual covenant, and a capital offence for wilful neglect.

The Sabbath is a sign, a thing that is seen, in that it is a measure of time, it is witnessed by the lights in the heavens.

C. The lights are for seasons (H4150- מועדmo-adproperly an appointment, that is, a fixed time or season).

Is the sabbath a season?

In our modern vernacular the word season has lost it’s King James Version meaning, yet even in 1828 the Strong’s definition for moad would fit perfectly well in an English definition for season, Webster’s 1828 puts it thus:

SE’ASON. n. se’zn. Season literally signifies that which comes or arrives; and in this general sense, is synonymous with time. Hence,

1. A fit or suitable time; the convenient time; the usual or appointed time; as, the messenger arrived in season; in good season. This fruit is out of season.

2. Any time, as distinguished from others.

It would be general logic to say that the Sabbath or seventh day is an appointed time, that is distinguished from other time. But does the scripture offer any answers for how the lights of the heavens are used for seasons / moad(im)? Or that the Sabbath is indeed a moad?

Lev 23:1-4 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, (2) Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts (moadiH4150) of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts (moadiH4150). (3) Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings. (4) These are the feasts (moadiH4150) of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons (moadimH4150).

The word season(s) would have seemingly been a less confusing option for the translators to choose every time they translated a grammatical variant of moad, yet I speak from a 21 century perspective. Nevertheless, notice how FOUR time a grammatical variation of the word moad is used, four times. The word is best rendered season / seasons that is an appointed time governed by the Heavens, and as time is concerned accompanied by a(n) owth sign / token / witness in the light(s) of the heavens.

In the ancient world, man made calendar systems did not prevail, today the paper one on the wall only has the similitude of accurate time keeping, missing some very essential parts, as those of which we speak of now from Gen 1:14-15. In the scriptural world, all appointed times, appointed by God or man were set according to the natural, God given ‘calendar’ system of sun, moon and stars. All time keeping in the scriptures is based upon the kingdom (government) of Heaven through it’s lights, the Sabbath with other appointed “feasts” or seasons of YHWH are with out exception.

Consider this translation from the 1898 Young’s Literal Translation:

Lev 23:2-4 `Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, Appointed seasons of Jehovah, which ye proclaim, holy convocations, are these: they are My appointed seasons: (3) six days is work done, and in the seventh day is a sabbath of rest, a holy convocation; ye do no work; it is a sabbath to Jehovah in all your dwellings. (4) `These are appointed seasons of Jehovah, holy convocations, which ye proclaim in their appointed seasons:

The Young’s literal translation above is most accurate on this subject, leaving the reader with little doubt that all mentioned moad-(i)-(im) are “appointed seasons”, the Sabbath being the first is included with no exception, and all are( JeHoVaH) God’s very own appointed times, those which he has declared and then after commanded Israel to proclaim. It is here that a strong persuasion must, at the very least, be examined and considered, that is that the Sabbath / holy convocations, days of no servile work, as they which are the head and tail of the appointed seasons “feasts”, which are contained from the 15th day to the 22nd day of the first and seventh biblical month are, none other than the Sabbaths mentioned in Lev 23:3, thus keeping the weekly seventh day and the Sabbaths of the festivals as one in the same.

If there is any validity in the afore mentioned, that the “festival” sabbaths and the weekly seventh day / Sabbath are part of the Gen 1:14 system of heavenly time keeping, then it must be testified to by the word of God and told:

What light(s) are appointed by YHWH God for seasons?

Psa 104:19 He (YHWH) appointed (H6213-עשׂהaw-saw- to do or make) the moon for seasons (H4150- moad-im): the sun knoweth his going down.

Here the psalmist sings of the works and doings of YHWH, among those wonders are the moon’s appointing of seasons / moadim and the sun’s going down / ‘door’ (entrance / exit). It is here that the Word of God specificly mentions the moon being made / created / “appointed” for moad-im / seasons; according to the psalmist the moon was made for the very purpose of ‘moadim’ (seasons). The moon is thus a crucial and essential part of Leviticus 23 and Genesis 1:14-15’s appointed seasons; while the lights (plural) are all for time keeping or seasons, the moon has a special place in it’s creation or making, that it was made to show God’s very own appointed seasons / moad-im.

The apcryphal book of the Wisdom of Jesus the son of Sirach or Ecclesiasticus 43:6-10 presents an ancient perspective of a post captivity Israelite, having his text in the LXX Greek we have the ability to also understand this perspective. While some may not respect the books labeled apocrypha as canon, they must be at least regarded as presenting an ancient perspective; Jesus son of Sirach put it thus as pertaining to the heavenly function:

6 He made the moon also to serve (appear) in her season for a declaration of times, and a sign of the world. 7 From the moon is the sign of feasts, a light that decreaseth in her perfection. 8 The month (Chodesh) is called after her name, increasing wonderfully in her changing (Hebrew word for month: Chodesh-H2320-חדשׁ-From H2318-to be new; causatively to rebuild; the new moon) (9?)being an instrument of the armies (Camp pitched) above, shining in the firmament of heaven; 9 The beauty of heaven, the glory of the stars, an ornament, giving light to the highest places of the Lord 10 At the commandment of the holy one they will stand in their order, and never faint in their watches.

From the wisdom of Sirach, we see not only the clock work or the moon but that of the stars with it in the back drop. The moon traveling through the stars in the firmament of Heaven is seen as a camp or army pitched on high standing watch. The moon and stars work together in Jesus son of Sirach’s mind, yet the moon is no doubt the the “sign (G4592) of the feasts (G1859), among those “feasts” of the post captivity Israelites was the weekly Sabbath / seventh day as the Law in Lev 23 has commanded In the LXX Greek text of Sirach the same words are used as in Lev 23 and Exo 31:13-17. As the moon makes declaration of time, it must therefore be a declaration of the week and thus of the Sabbath.

On account of the Biblical, heavenly and natural evidence the fact of the determination is yet to be had on what day the sabbath would indefinitely be?, or in these matters it is better to be said, most likely be ? Above it is outlined by scriptural evidence that the sabbath is indeed a:

Sign = owth – אות H226: Exo 31:13-17

Season = mo-ad מועדH4150 :Lev 23:2-3

Day = yomיוםH3117: Gen 2:2 -3, et al

and even a Year, however this is not the subject matter particularly, Lev 25:8

Then right division must be had in order to determine the exact times of the sabbaths, to fit into the proper division of days in our specific locality as determined from evening to morning and evening again. Remembering the first principles of time division into Days / Yom (s) is important as the first aspect of the lights are inculcated into the formula. There are two “types of days / Yom(s), 1. is the holistic (so called 24hr) Day, this is Yom, as well 2. is the light period of Day as Gen 1:5 showes both. Seen in the operation of the lights of heaven in the aboved outlined points 2. A and 2. D, both types of Day are present, while Gen 1:5 has the functionary nature of the lights built in the function itself, either,always was or was given to the lights in Gen 1:14 to pick up where time was at that very time. Thus evening and morning are the ordained order of heavenly time as a division of day from night and from day to day with in our own locality in the scope of the above heavens.

Psalms 104:19-23 tells that:

(19) He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.

(20) Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.

(21) The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.

(22) The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.

(23) Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.

The season in vrs 19 is the same moad and the evening is the same arab, the life of beast and man are affected by the moad-im, that is the plural form of moad or moad-i which is more the personal form of moad, as used in Lev 23:2 and to be proclaimed, yet the evening tide of the moon’s seasons are appointed by YHWH for all of the world. It is no doubt that a collective civil body, Church, must establish moad-i for the local congration’s worship, yet it must be established upon the moon’s seasons, as the “phases” of the moon are spaced at a 7 day interval is can be seen that the moon’s plural moad-im of Ps 104:19 is the moad-i of Lev 23:2 ‘s personal season of YHWH proclaimed by the children of Israel.

If the lights in the heaven are for seasons (Gen 1:14-18) and seasons are appointed by the moon (Ps 104:19) and are the seasons are sabbaths (Lev 23), the covenantal sabbath sign as described in Exodus 31:13-17, are the literal signs of the moon’s seasons to be proclaimed by local congregations who share in the same evening to evening assembly.

How to use the moon’s sign and seasons.

Functionally, as the wisdom of Jesus son of Sirach, teaches the moon it self was to serve in her season for a declaration of times, and a sign of the world. From the moon is the sign of feasts, a light that decreaseth in her perfection. The month is called after her name, increasing wonderfully in her changing… Above it was mentioned that the Hebrew word Chodesh is the word being refereed to here as it references both the function of the moon’s rebuilding or renewal and the moonth it self. It is therefore able to be understood the sign of the “feasts” is the Exo 31 sabbath sign and the sabbath sign is derived from the moon via it’s Chodesh, or renewal.

Observing the Sabbath day

…Exodus 31, tells us that the Sabbath is a sign, Genesis 1 tells us that the lights are for signs, this would tell us that the sabbath is a sign in the lights to cause distinction on that day. Some feel that the moon is a “beacon”, that it will give the sign to tell us of the following day to come, which to them is the sabbath. My objection is that, the sabbath is the sign or beacon, as per Ex 31. The moon is for signs, the sign is the sabbath- Just as any other covenant, as mentioned above. But what about when all the phases line up but the last? There is a special reason for the last quarter / last half to some times be off set from the seventh day, that reason is to indicate the length of the month at hand. Some months having 29 days some 30, the only way to know this is by using the Ex 20/ fourth commandment formula. Upon your next month: Follow the seventh day count after the new moon, sighting : first half at solar noon and full as evening , then last half at true midnight until solar noon when sighting on the seventh day- if that night watch of the moon presents a close to perfect half from moon rise to solar noon or a concaved like moon, that is less than half, the month is 29 days in length, giving that following moonth 1 new moon day light period. If however, the sighting on that third weekly Sabbath is a ‘pregnant’ half, that is beyond a half, the moon is in need of more time to become aligned, and is indicating to you a 30 day month, telling you that you will literally have a 2 day new moon day light period, one at the end of the moonth and another at the beginning as the 1st day of the following moonth.

An example of a 30 day month with 2 days of new moon is given in 1Sa 20:27, where David’s seat is empty for a new moon feast, not just one but two days, John Gill’s exposition of the bible says this:1 Samuel 20:27

And it came to pass on the morrow, which was the second day of the month,…. The Targum is,”and it was on the day after it, which was the intercalation of the second month;”when the beginning of the month was judged of by the appearance of the moon, and there was a difficulty about that, what day it appeared on, two days were kept for it; and Abarbinel (e) is clear for it, that two days were kept in this month…

It is known to many peoples of the world who still use the moon as a keeper of the month, that this formula, using the number seven woven in to the lunar cycle tells the enumeration of days in the month at hand, would not David and Johnathan have known this when David said unto Jonathan, “Behold, to morrow is the new moon, and I should not fail to sit with the king at meat: but let me go, that I may hide myself in the field unto the third day at even. Then Jonathan said to David, To morrow is the new moon: and thou shalt be missed, because thy seat will be empty. And when thou hast stayed three days, then thou shalt go down quickly, and come to the place where thou didst hide thyself…(1 Samuel 20:5-19)

Numbering from the day they spoke, being the sabbath day of the 29th, the friends knew their were to be a 2 day new moon scheduled for that month.

Furthermore, to add to this evidence is the very words and alignment of the following chapter of 1 Samuel when David directly after goes to Abiathar the Priest in asking for bread: And the priest answered David, and said, There is no common bread under mine hand, but there is hallowed bread; if the young men have kept themselves at least from women. And David answered the priest, and said unto him, Of a truth women have been kept from us about these three days, since I came out, and the vessels of the young men are holy, and the bread is in a manner common, yea, though it were sanctified this day in the vessel. So the priest gave him hallowed bread: for there was no bread there but the shewbread, that was taken from before YHWH, to put hot bread in the day when it was taken away.

When seeing that the men had kept themselves from women for three days, we know from the previous chapter that it was on account of the New moons and the Sabbath. How do we know the sabbath was assuredly connected with the new moon at this time and represents the point I am wishing to make?

And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month (And it came to pass in the first month, in the second year after their going forth out of Egypt, the new moon40:17 Brenton)…Moses reared up the tabernacle…And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, without the vail. And he set the bread in order upon it before YHWH; as YHWH had commanded Moses... (Exo 40:17-24)

Connecting the resent above verse which is indicative of the new moon, being the first day of the month, with Lev 24:5-9: And thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof… And thou shalt set them in two rows, six on a row, upon the pure table before YHWH. And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto YHWH. Every sabbath he shall set it in order before YHWH continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant…

Not only do the facts show that the first day of the month/new moon is the day of setting the table of shewbread in order before YHWH, but they likewise make known that this event was commanded to be done every Sabbath; therefore the new moon must be part of the Sabbath ordained by God and known to Israel.

In ending this work I wish to lastly make this point before ending off, due to the information contained in the language, it must not be forgotten that the Sabbath as dictated by the Heavens is a lunar event, it is not just a day or a repetitious count of days, it is a literal happening which signifies that a seventh of time has passed, for example I would encourage you to read the Greek LXX and the New Testament Greek scriptures to see the language used in speaking of what was translated a “week”, I will give a few examples:

All of the above verses of Holy Writ are using the word Sabbath (Lit. Greek: Sabaton), in the sense of the word week, yet the ancient cultural mindset is ignored by many. For instance, read any one of the above Greek Scriptures, from LXX or NT text and you will see a number such as: one, two or four followed by “of Sabbath”; in the Brenton, Interlinear Greek New Testament and KJV the translators kept with keeping the concept of a week, as in the “first, second or fourth (day) not in Greek Text) of the week”, making the Hebrew-Greek word “sabaton” equivalent to the English word week, which has been shown above in the Hebrew to be true, yet in keeping with the Biblical Hebrew concept that the word Sabbath, shabwa, and shaba are all grammatic variants meaning rest, fulfill, settle, oath, swear, seven and week, the above Greek makes logical sense that both the Brenton translation and the Apostles Bible translation accuratly display that the week is made of sevenths, and sevenths are fulfilled by Sabbath days. The Greek translations of the original Hebrew have presented a fractional way to explain the Israelite Sabbath. For when using the moon as a time keeper as explained previously, the moon presents it’s signs in sevenths: thus it is that the first, second and fourth (day) of sabbath mentioned are simply referring to the moon’s light as a fractional ‘pie chart’, showing the one of seven = 1/7 = first day of the week; two of seven = 2/7 = second day of the week or four of seven = 4/7 = fourth day of the week, the sighting is as seen in the heavens by the Sabbath observer.

I have placed this information on the Greek scriptures at this point to tie in the new moon’s relevance to having a Gen 1:14 Sabbath, working in harmony with with Exodus 20’s fourth commandment. The Greek abstract language is used in a perfectly harmonious way to explain a very organic system, based on facts and evidence.

Some have insisted that the Greek words literally translated “First of the Sabbath”, validate a “Sunday” sabbath, or a first day of the week sabbath, yet a sabbath by definition is the fulfillment of the one through six working days, the completed, settled, ceased, Sabbath(ed) days. The Pagan named day of Sunday can never be the biblical Sabbath hallowed and commanded by the Father of our Lord Jesu(s) Christ; remember that all modern “week days” are just names, identifying and measuring nothing intrinsic, save a repeating count on a Roman Catholic calendar. While the Greek verses above are no doubt referring to “the first day of the week”, the week in reference is that of the Sabbath (as the Greek states) and not the week of Pagan Rome adopted by the RC popes.

While many Bible students such as my self have thought (and do unfortunately think yet) though the Pagan Roman Catholic culture- which ignores the relevance of the new moon as mentioned in scripture. For our culture sees Exodus 20:8-11 / the fourth commandment, that a ‘week’ must be made of 7 days of 24 hours, the and only the 7th 24 hour day is the sabbath. Interesting enough in out Anglo-Saxon root word of our English word “Week”, is in the very bending of the moon, as was the focal point, and the meaning of the word; for at the end of the first week the moon was a straight half, at the full moon the bend was straightening again towards the last half and after the last half the bend was heading towards the bends or crescents of the new moon, last and first sliver; even the pagan yet natural minded Anglo-Saxons had an intrinsic week. Our culture has no place for a ‘week’ which corroborates perfectly with the ‘month’, which is (as it’s name says) based on the moon. Yet the new moon can be seen in Holy Writ some 20 times in the most commonly read King James version, while the Hebrew text from which the King James version is translated uses חדש – Chodesh, the word for new moon or month (as mentioned previously in the apcryphal book of the Wisdom of Jesus the son of Sirach or Ecclesiasticus 43:8) some 280 times. The New moon and Sabbath are mentioned by God’s Word side by side in 2Ki. 4:23; Isa. 66:23; Eze. 46:1; Amos 8:5, Col 2:16. Not to mention Leviticus 23 which not only (as mentioned previously) goes out of the way to teach us that the Sabbath is a “feast” or better translated “appointed season”, that is a heavenly event as per Gen 1:14-15, and signaled by the lights of heaven, but that it reaffirms the lunar parallel of the Sabbath by specifying the feast of trumpets to be a Sabbath New moon, the first day of the seventh moonth.

It is common that the new moon will be the stumbling block for any Nomian Christian reading this work, such stumbling blocks are generally one of two:

1. The new moon is not commanded to be a sabbath in the law.

Answer- The New moon is mentioned in the Law, specificly in Numbers 10:10, where YHWH commands the new moon to be among the days of our gladness to blow the trumpet and to call an assembly, Before the temple was destroyed a sacrifice of offerings were presented at this solemn assembly as was so on the Sabbath (Num 28:11-14 shows the priest’s part in this command). Further more, if the Sabbath is a heavenly lunar event, the new moon would definitely be among the Sabbath days, and thus be commanded by all Sabbatical law, especially Exodus 31 and Exodus 20.

2. The new moon based sabbath proposed breaks the 4th commandment by having it’s first or last week of 8 days depending on the new moon and NOT having a consistent 7 day week through out.

Answer- While this is true that all lunar months will have no less than 8 days to the first week of a month of 29 days and if the moonth has 30 days, the last week directly before the 8 day first week will have 8 days as well. Yet this does NOT break the commandment for the following: The days of Sabbath are NOT working days, and simply comply with all sabbtical law that states ” Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath…”, by this harmony is found as YHWH speaks in Ezekiel 46:1 (as mentioned previously), the Sabbath and new moon are NOT among the “six working days”. This is the simplest way to harmonize the Sabbath command with the Creation laws of Genesis 1:14 leading us directly to the new moon.
