THE WORD : of GOD

pt.4

ReCap of the last 3 messages:

In the beginning of this message it was my aid to establish the Word of God as as YHWH’s own Testimony which he sent through his inspired prophets to give us the book we call the Bible, that is literally Israel’s Scriptures. In establishing the Canon or Rule of Biblical Faith, I had hoped to lay out some simple guidelines to help in studying the Scriptures in a more systematic way, based of facts of the texts and evidence offers by context as well as the relevant Natural witness which all me use to view the world around them; this was given to help us understand why we should have systematic way to establish our Faith. From that Logic the Word made flesh develops in our confession of mouth as well as in our heart by faith, as well as to give repentance for the Israel of God scattered among the Gentiles or Nation, those to whom Christ came to make of twain one New Man as specified in the parties of the New Covenant ‘the houses of Israel and of Judah, that is the Judean Nation as well as the Israelite Nation scattered through out the Greek speaking world (as evident by the Greek Septuagint and Greek New Testament).

Yet, if there is any weight at all which I fully wish to come from this message and study, it that The Scriptures, their testimony, and It’s Logic is the Logic of the WORD of God and it’s Law can not be stripped away from the man Jesu(s) Christ in his perfect life, in his redemptive death, nor in the power of His resurrection. The context of the Scriptures is Christ’s Context, the People of the Scriptures are Christ’s people, the morality or cognition of YHWH God’s perfect Law is the Law of Christ, the Christ, Messiah or Anointed of the Scripture is Christ himself. And by this calculation: The works of the Law which are from the WORD of God are to be perfected in the life of Biblical Christians, those are the Anointed. Here is our Faith according to the New Covenant / Testament.

True Faith

True Religion

The whole and total message of the Word of God is the foundation and Head of our Belief, most would in the last statement say ‘the foundation and head of our Faith’, limiting the understanding to the sanctimonious noun by which we interchange with ‘our religion’, which in a non-ignorant use of the words faith and religion, they both would carry the same verity as ‘what one truly believes’ and as such swapping the sanctimonious and vain noun we often use as religious Christians for the true and sincere belief as described in the scriptures.

If I could repeal the ignorance of the use of the word Religion to it’s moral sense and it’s original Latin interchange in to the Belief of Christ: I would cite Noah Websters 1828 as the understanding all people who call on the Name of Christ should have:

L. religio, from religo, to bind anew; re and ligo, to bind.

1. Religion, in its most comprehensive sense, includes a belief in the being and perfections of God, in the revelation of his will to man, in man’s obligation to obey his commands, in a state of reward and punishment, and in man’s accountableness to God; and also true godliness or piety of life, with the practice of all moral duties. It therefore comprehends theology, as a system of doctrines or principles, as well as practical piety; for the practice of moral duties without a belief in a divine lawgiver, and without reference to his will or commands, is not religion.

Rom_10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not Trusted? and how shall they Trust in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

Rom 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Rom_10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath Trusted our report?

Rom_10:17 So then Trust cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Rom_10:18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

Rom_10:19 But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.

Rom 10:20 But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.

Rom 10:21 But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient (resisting persuasionG544 – A-Peith-oun-ta /untrusting) and gainsaying people.

Isa_65:2 I have stretched forth my hands all day to a disobedient and gainsaying people, to them that walked in a way that was not good, but after their sins.

Rom 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

Rom 11:2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,

Rom 11:3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.

Rom 11:4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to Baal.

Rom 11:5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

Rom 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

Rom 11:7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded

Rom_11:8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

Blindness and Slumber hearts, void of Faith

Deu_29:4 Yet YHWH hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.

Rom_11:9 And David saith, (Now let me offer one again a holistic approach to understanding this specific text by starting the verse prior to Paul’s quote, an act which Paul and all NT writers expected his readers to consult, he obviously did not have an email address or even a type writer, or even a lined piece of paper bought from the store, No, Every one used papyrus and ink, that is papyri leaves pressed and dried and ink from a plant or else where to write, thus the writers of the epistles only cite pertinent portions of the context in which they expected their reader(s) to consult and ponder.

Psa 69:21 They gave me also gall for my food, and made me drink vinegar for my thirst. Mat_27:34

As seeing this application by the witnesses of the fulfillment of this psalm, we may apply the knowledge hereafter to those who will not except that Word of Faith That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt Trust in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Thus, upon the rejection of this faith Paul expounds upon the prophecy of David which was built upon the promises of God’s Law:

Psa 69:22 Let their table before them be for a snare, and for a recompense, and for a stumbling-block.

Psa 69:23 Let their eyes be darkened that they should not see; and bow down their back continually.

Psa 69:24 Pour out thy wrath upon them, and let the fury of thine anger take hold on them.

Psa 69:25 Let their habitation be made desolate; and let there be no inhabitant in their tents:

Psa 69:26 Because they persecuted him whom thou hast smitten; and they have added to the grief of my wounds.

Psa 69:27 Add iniquity to their iniquity; and let them not come into thy righteousness.

Psa 69:28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and let them not be written with the righteous.

Psa 69:29 I am poor and sorrowful; but the salvation of thy countenance has helped me.

Psa 69:30 I will praise the name of my God with a song, I will magnify him with praise;

Psa 69:31 and this shall please God more than a young calf having horns and hoofs.

Psa 69:32 Let the poor see and rejoice; seek the Lord diligently, and ye shall live.

Psa 69:33 For the Lord hears the poor, and does not set at nought his fettered ones.

Zeal-ous and Jealous

Desiring the knowledge of God

… I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.

Rom_11:11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

Rom 11:12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?

Rom 11:13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:

Rom 11:14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation (ABP+ if by any means I should provoke to jealousyG3863 -para-Zealous) them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.

Life from the Dead

(Chose Life)

Rom_11:15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

Rom 11:16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.

Rom 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;

Rom 11:18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.

Rom 11:19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.

Rom 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:

Rom 11:21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.

Rom 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

Rom 11:23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.

Rom 11:24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?

Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

And at this point I with to end with this citation from the New Covenant.

This is the scope of Christ’s ministry in the flesh, his forgiveness offered by His blood shed upon the cross, and the power of his resurrection, to wit the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? Rom_11:15

Hearkening back to the words of Paul in the prior Chapters, which I hope those who follow this message have looked back on:

Rom_6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

Rom 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Rom 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

Rom 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Rom 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Rom 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Rom 6:8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

Rom 6:9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

Rom 6:10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

Rom 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Rom 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

About JS Lowther

Foremost I know that I am a chief sinner saved by Grace. I am a servant of YHWH Almighty the one true God Who is Father, Son and Spirit. I believe in God's only begotten and perfect Son Jesu(s) Christ whose redemption power of my soul I have Faith in and testify of. Having been redeemed by the blood of Christ, I wish to no longer spend my time in the lusts of the flesh and of this world, but to promote the Gospel of the Kingdom by means of the knowledge of the New Covenant, a reNewal of the Covenant God made with his people Israel in the blood of Christ (Jer 31:31 and Heb 8:8) whereby He writes His Law upon the Heart and Mind beside the forgiveness of sin and transgressions. I believe Christ Jesus is the incarnate Son of God as the WORD made flesh, and the son of man born of the virgin Mary conceived of the Holy Spirit: I believe Christ Jesus Lived a perfect life for us as a living sacrifice as well as a pattern of the Sanctified newness of life a believer has in Him, I believe Christ Jesus died a cursed death on the Cross for His people of Covenant who are sinners, and I believe in Christ Jesus who Resurrected with power from Death from the grave to Justify the offenders. This is the same Jesus who is indeed the Son of David and king of Israel, who is both LORD and Christ over all the kings and dominions of the earth! In the fullness of time YHWH will regather his people under the Head of the Church, Jesu(s) Christ to affect his will according to the Lord's prayer, Psalm 2, 8 and 110 as well as Genesis 1:26. The focus of my administration of the Gospel is like unto my Lord's who said "I have come not but for the lost sheep of the house of Israel.."(Mathew 15:24), and so I have come to my European kinsman according to the flesh. It is my mission to show the Israel of God the Salvation which is taught by Scripture Alone and offered in all ages by Grace Alone through Faith Alone in the work of Christ Alone to the Glory of GOD Alone. As a modern day Puritan separatist it is my goal to purify the church of Christ with Faith heretofore stated. I am studying to show my self approved, if you have any questions just ask!
