pt.6 Married to another, even to Him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God (Romans 7:1-8:4)
JS LOWTHER- RNCM, February 11, 2021Part of the The Doctrine of Good Works and of The Fruits of the Spirit series, preached at a SABBATH BIBLE STUDY service
If believers are to understand Paul when he speaks to those who know the law, how much of the Law did a 1st century believer need to know?
Paul likens God's Covenant people in the flesh as those who were married to the Law of God which could only bring forth the anti-fruits of sin and death; But he likewise says that that Law of God which died was the same that rose from the dead?
As well Paul likens a married woman to the covenant people of God to have died as well by the body of Christ that died and was resurrected.
Who are Covenant members married to now and how do they bring forth the fruits of holiness in righteousness?
By what standard and measure do they work to bring forth more fruit?
