This was a response to a discussion about lunar based sabbath that I thought would benefit the internet folks who receive this blog.
Many Blessings,

Those who would say that lunar based sabbath keepers are violating Exodus 20 by keeping a week with less than 6 working days or more than 6 working days, do not know what we believe … at all.
Here, Let me lay forth Ezekiel’s way of explaining lunar based sabbath, maybe a prophet will help clarify our position:
Eze 46:1 Thus saith the Lord GOD; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened.
Notice, The sabbath and days of New Moon are not part of the 6 working days.
And YES, we ALWAYS have 6 (SIX) working day between every Sabbath from week to week.
A favor? yes please, look up “sabbath” and “New Moon” and see how many times they occur side by side in the bible, and ask why that is? Could it be Ezekiel is on to something? I’d say so… he is a prophet after all and a priest of the LORD.
So, let me explain in ’emoji’ how this works numerically and looks in signature:
The last Sabbath at the end of every month happens before the phase or sign of the New Moon, and moreover is linked to the feast of the New Moon as a sabbatical time of worship and assembly.
Therefore we keep both the 7th day (lunar month’s 28th day at evening / 29th day ) as holy as well as the day(s) of the New Moon with NO WORK in between but as one festival, that is from the 29th through the 1st of the New Month, all days are regarded as Sabbatic, in that we do not work but hold the Num 10:10 assembly and Psalm 81:1-4 solemn feast on those days… every month.
So, here it is in Exodus 31:13 Signs and Lev 23:1-4 Season lingo (See Gen 1:14):
The 7th at evening / 8th day is Sabbath (the sign: first quarter of the moon).
The 14th at evening / 15th day is Sabbath (the sign: full moon)
The 21st at evening / 22nd day is Sabbath (the sign: last quarter of the moon)
The 28th at evening / 29th day is Sabbath (the sign: waning crescent moon)
Now this is the start of our New Moon solemn feast days the 28th at evening / 29th day and it continues until the moon is NEW… New MOON .
It happens like this with months of 29 days .
It happens like this with months of 30 days .
But both ‘resets’ our Sabbath to be numbered as prior stated, every month is the same:
1, 8, 15, 22, 29 or 0 , 7, 14, 21, 28 at evening,
or – six days –– six days – -six days--six days- () – six days ……….. so on, do you get it?
There are always 6 working days between sabbaths even when the New Moon is added to the last sabbath as a solemn assembly.
The New moon is added to the sabbath not the work week, and we find no contradiction or variance with the law because the positive command(s), such as Exodus 20:9-10 says: “Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work (like Ezekiel said in 46:1) But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God.
I do hope this helps, look up the verses, check it out and please feel free to contact RNCM for more information.
