Greetings!
There will not be much online time here on account of ongoing feast of Ingathering & Tabernacles 2023 happening here in SE Ohio, but here is the worship, lessons and messages we recorded so far for the remote listeners and future down loaders.
We have a few distinctive features of the fellowship and Worship we are striving to maintain here on the homefront, I’ll take some time to explain how some this works:
On the First sabbath of the Feast of the 7th Moonth (Ingathering / Tabernacles) which was October Sunday 29th we begin our Week on the evening prior (saturday 28th).
Tents or tabernacles from those who are here are set up in preparation of literally observing the feast in their tents!
We still have a cabin here for the worship and cooking, but the feast is obviously best spent like our Israelite ancestors- In tabernacles.
Every day of the feast is spent in fellowship together with the gathered Church, mornings and evenings, so we have breakfast and dinner together every day.
On the First Sabbath (Oct 29th) & Last Sabbath (Nov 5th) we keep our regular 10:00 AM gathering time and our 5:00PM Gathering time, with the availability for call in listening to our services.
This is a full day of Rest for the God ordained purpose of Worship & Fellowship.
On all the Days of the Feast we add an Extra portion of Sacrificial Worship by the Psalms and Reading of the Law every Morning and every evening.
In this time, in the Morning and the Evening:
- We sing 2 Psalm
- Read 2 Chapters of the Book of Deuteronomy
- And Pastor Lowther “gives the sense” of the Psalms and the Law that have been convoked together in convocation.
- This is done “Beside” our regular Sabbath offerings and attendance, which on Sabbath consists of :
Psalms, Confessions, Hearing the Gospel, and receiving preaching from the Word, as we usually preform every weekly Sabbath throughout the year. (See our page describing our regular worship)For the 6 working days of the Feast (mon 30th-sat 4th) we gather at 7:00 AM & 7:00PM
We sing 2 Psalm
We Read 2 Chapters of the Book of Deuteronomy
And Pastor Lowther “gives the sense” of the Psalms and the Law that have been convoked together in convocation. (these are not recorded, but are made available to call in and listen)
This is about 1/2 hour of set apart time, morning and evening = 1 hour of the feast day total.
We to this for all 8 days of the feast (2 Sabbath, first and last + 6 working days)
Here is a list of Audios from last sabbath, the first day of the Feast:
