Psa_146:1 Praise ye the LORD.
Praise the LORD, O my soul.
Psa 146:2 While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
We here see again the triple exaltation of YHWH the one true and living God.
We again see the Praise of the Father.
The Praise of the Son which is praise of the soul
and lastly the praise of the Spirit who is the giver life and new life in our being
Let us consider in the Psalm the elements of praise to the Son and Spirit
Let me focus upon the Praise of the Son, Praise the LORD, O my soul. soulG5590 psoo-khay’/ Psyche’
Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Heb 4:13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Mar_8:35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.
Mar 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
Mar 8:37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Mar 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Mat 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.Joh 13:37 Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake.
Joh 13:38 Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.Eph_6:5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
Eph 6:6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;Heb 6:17 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
Heb 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
Heb 6:19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
Heb 6:20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
Psa_146:2 While I live (Zoe) will I praise YHWH: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth (gives life); the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Gen_1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.Gen_2:7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Job_33:4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.Rom_8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
1Pe_3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
So, we very obviously have many scriptures to confirm that life and being in fact emanate from the Holy Spirit of God, in creation, in the breath of life as well as in the new or regenerated life.
This Scripture and its doctrine should be reminiscent of the amendment made by the council of Constantinople in 381 to the Nicaean creed, which says, “I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of life…”
In fact, while we could also find various scriptures which say things, we might think are the same concerning the Word and Son Jesus Christ such as the Word and Son Jesus Christ
Joh_1:4 In him , was life; and the life was the light of men.
What we must realize is that YHWH has decreed an order in which processions emanates in these.
In the Word is life, just as we might think of how breath or spirit is in a word we speak. And not just a physical breath like air, but a spiritual breath like intellect – or logic, the meaning is given in the word as a vehicle to deliver the spirit, and yet the spirit or breath is like was the carried upon the Word.
The Soul of man praises Christ in walking like him mimicking him and the spirit of God is praised as the giver of life, and new spiritual life which energizes the soul or the life: ” also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
“the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”
Psa_146:3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
Psa 146:4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
Do you realize that if were pit scripture in combat against scripture this scripture would lok like is is contradicting many other scriptures?
Here is just one:
Joh 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
Joh 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
Joh 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
The Psalm tells us, “Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. ”
Refuting the human Jesus Socinianistic Idea
And in a prince? What about Jesus Christ?
Act_5:31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
Then we must conclude from these psalms that while all princes are mortal and not worth trusting in, and while all sons of men can not help us- Jesus Christ rather be…God: Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:
And is this not what we read of Jesus Christ?
This is the Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power,
his dear Son:
Col 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
This then as Jesus said he was in John 3, “he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.”
The very same Son of Man who appears before the Ancient of Days in the book of Daniel, the very same son of man who sits at the right hand of God the Father YHWH waiting till his enemies are made his foot stool!
This Prince and Son of man is to be Trusted and feared because He is not merely a Prince or merely a son of Adam.
Psa 146:5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:
Psa 146:6 Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:
Blessed happy is the one helped and hoping in Christ the Son to the glory of the father living a life by the Holy Spirit.
That YHWH !
Psa 146:7 Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry.
The LORD looseth the prisoners:
Psa 146:8 The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind:
the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down:
the LORD loveth the righteous:Psa 146:9 The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow:
but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.Psa 146:10 The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations.
Praise ye the LORD. or Hallelu YAH!
