Greetings and Blessings in Christ Yesus our Lord, From Rev. Lowther,
I hope and pray all of you who are followers of this ministry are found blessed in the name of the Lord, finding abundance of grace before our God.
It is about this time of the soon to be ‘old year’ I start thinking of the New year soon coming (Exodus 12:1 / Deuteronomy 16:1).
The Sun is completing his circuit through the heavenly tabernacles of the stars to soon meet up again with his bride, the moon, for his monthly date that produces a New Moon a New Month. (Psalm 19:1-8) This Conjunction is different in the course of the year, because it corresponds to the local agriculture that we live by in our region, the Moon of Abib will light upon us as we joy in the agricultural fruits the lights of heaven offer us and we all live through their nourishment. (Deuteronomy 33:14)
These are my thoughts as we are only 5 days from the New Moon of the Month of Abib a time that brings with its spring season the majestical consideration of the Resurrection of Christ and His Passover passion which takes precedent in our life at this time. It is in this season that the sun, moon and stars witness to us and nature sings of the glory of God, man could not produce a finer stage to set forth the truth of Eternal life offered in Christ.
Now we see not only new life in the coming of spring, but new sustenance and new hope with growth of field and creature which God has made to provide for our temporal life in the agricultural reality of the year.
With all of this consideration I pray the faithful observers who observe with us begin, if they have not already, to prepare their hearts for the communing memorial of Communion wherein we celebrate the Body and the Blood of our LORD through the use of the annual observation of the Paschal meal.
May you consider more earnestly the Body & Blood of the New Covenant at this time, and use the elements of the feast for their indented purpose to Glorify Christ.
From the New Moon of Abib commanded to be observed as the first day of the year,
to the cutting of the wave sheaf on the 9th day of the month to be reserved,
to the day of the selection of the Paschal lamb,
to the preparation of the loaf and blessing of the Red Wine ordained by Christ to be often taken on Passover day,
to the weekly feast to last from Sabbath to Sabbath in celebration of Christ’s body as we eat unleavened bread,
and to the commemoration of the wave sheaf raised with Christ’s Resurrected Body on the 3rd day .
May all the LORD has Commanded be a witness to your heart, mind and soul of the Glorious Work of Yesus Christ our Lord and our God!
If I may be of any assistance in any way please do not hesitate to contact me, Sincerly yours in Christ’s Name,
Rev. JS Lowther (Ministering Pastor- ReNewed Covenant Ministry)
