a synopsis out line on the Christian Life

The picture above or on cover is a photo shopped version of a similar painting, it depicts Christ, the seed of the woman,  as a child held up by Mary his mother while he crushes the head of the Genesis 3 Serpent of Sin with his bloody heel upon it’s bloody head. The original showed Mary’s foot as the crushing force and did not represent the bruised heel of our messiah.

Thus a portion of a great painting of Christian tradition has been amended by Truth directly from the WORD.

Please, Don’t miss the analogy.

In the Christian walk God’s Word is a light in the darkness, as an instrument to open blind eyes so that we may have life in a defined form and have it more abundantly. Yet not all Christians are of Christ, just as not all who are of Israel are Israel; they who have been born into Christian family, and become members of churches do not follow the Word made flesh that dwelt among men, Jesu(s) the Christ. To live as Christ is indeed impossible for carnal men, insomuch as Christ Jesu(s) is the Word of God he is preeminent in the world, His very being are the Words spoken to every prophet, in every Jot and every tittle Moses was commanded to speak to the Children of Israel, there in those words Christ is present, even in the smallest of Laws they are the Word of God, the glory Christ our savior had since the world was (John 1:1, 17:5).

For the cause above this compilation has been written, to glorify the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the first born of every Creature for through him the world was framed and by him all things were made, and as thus we who bare the name of Christ-ians have an obligation to our name sake to ask if we are walking according to the Word, by the Word and as he the Word walked? As joint heirs with Christ in the house hold of God are we living after we have received the grace of adoption as our Father has prescribed in his testament and covenant with us?

The Compilation to come is not intended to convict any who read that circumcision or strict keeping of the biblical law is the path way to salvation, it is not; the writing is intended to show the way Christ walked, and the way Christians are admonished to walk; it is intended to be a solid biblical life style founded more closely to the bible than the dictates of carnal man via preconceived church doctrine: offering a life style for the true Biblical Christian Zealot as a Biblical Reality. In a world of carnality all who truly love God must acknowledge that the heart of man is wicked continually, and the more men lean on their own understandings of righteousness the more corrupt man’s righteousness becomes, we must therefor arm our selves with the mind of Christ, letting the mind of true obedience dwell in us which was also in Christ Jesu(s) (Rom 7:25, 1 Cor 1:10, Php 2:5, 1 Pet 4:1).

Word references

KJV – is the King James Version from which all scripture is quoted unless otherwise stated, varying only in the replacement of YHWH for LORD or GOD; And in the removal of some italics which are found not in the original manuscript, but are in English translation.

LXX- is a reference to the Greek translation of the Holy Scriptures known as the Septuagint which predates the masoretic text.

YHWH” / יהוה Called the tetragrammaton, is the literal name for GOD or the LORD as found in the Hebrew “underneath” the English capital letters. It is the personal name of God used only for HIM. As compiler I have chosen to bring forth this fact of inspiration.

Jesu- Yhesu / Yhsu/ Iesu are the closest English transliteration (from Hebrew via Greek) of our Saviors biblical name; Used until the 1600’s in Anglo speaking nations and still said thus in many European and middle eastern dialects, as compiler I have chosen to bring forth this rendering of the Savior name, “Jesu(s)”, except for where directly quoted from the King James Version.

Strong’s # / Strong’s Number – is a reference to to the numbering system as designed by James Strong in his “Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance and Lexicon of the Bible”, which is used in defining Hebrew and Greek words within the texts of the scripture.

(compilers comments are in brackets and italics within Biblical text)

All scripture is quoted in context: read the comprehensive thoughts surrounding the text in order to ascertain a holistic meaning, so that we may more closely see the light of truth.

The main objective in this following compilation is as the title indicates along with the thereafter following Scripture:

1John 3:5-6: …“he (the Word made flesh / Christ) was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him”.

Perhaps it is from the tradition of what is excepted as standard “Christian teaching and doctrine” but this fact set forth and heavily supported by the Bible, as well as excepted by most who call them selves Christian, is ignored when considering many scriptures in context as they speak on the subject of God’s law otherwise known as the law of Moses. Rather than retaining this fundamental Christian teaching, a new emphasis is added with out support, and by no means consistent, that Christ was manifested to take away God’s law. This false and selfish teaching is not only the cause of so much confusion in the church world, it is the cause for many unbelievers’ unbelief, and why shouldn’t it be? If the Eternal God can not maintain his own standards / laws of right and wrong, good and evil, blessing and cursing what else will he dispose of in the times to come? Who could please such a god? What truly makes him eternal? And what makes him true?

The following is a Challenge to the reader and a mortal attempt to reverse and stay this back slide in Christian doctrine, teaching purely from the bible that God’s Righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and His law is the truth. (Psalms 119:142), that the true followers of the Word may have their foundation and confidence in the eternal Word of YHWH God, and have as evidence in their own lives the proof of their faith, living as best they can as the Son of God him self did live, is this not the definition of being a Christian?

For in seeing the cross as the death post for God’s “old standards of righteousness” it is rather the symbol of a dead and failed god, making then the resurrection tomb an epitaph for an empty religion littered with ignorance and lawless tradition unfounded by any comprehensive command of a certainty. There is in this religion no true right or wrong, no real basis to even formulate such a declaration. For with out the defining books of Moses the Gospel and the Epistles are nonsensical, the New Covenant / Testament of which Christ confirms in his blood has no force, even Jeremiah is unintelligible in his forward of the New Covenant when the law is disregarded, consider the defining writ of Covenant in Jeremiah 31:33-34: “But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith YHWH, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people…for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

What then is the New Covenant with out the law written on the in-ward parts and mind of the covenanted? What is the New Covenant with our forgiveness of Sins committed under the Old Covenant (Heb 9:15) ? It is not the Biblical New Covenant / New Testament, it is another: and if it be another covenant / testament it is another Jesus and so an other Gospel-2 Cor 11:4; Gal 1:6. While the modern traditional “Christian” doctrine found amidst the majority of denominational and denominations of “non”- denominational churches alike would warn that a Gospel which holds God’s Laws as the good works of the bible which Christians are admonished to walk in as the “other Gospel” that the “new testament” has warned you of. Yet such a gospel which holds God’s Laws as the good works of biblical admonition has within it’s assurance the New Covenant as defined by Jeremiah 31 and Hebrews 8 built into it’s foundation. The traditionalist’s doctrine lacks greatly in such an assurance, offering no proofs of how a Christian is to have the law put into the heart being unwilling to keep God’s Law. For only by ignorant tradition can a lawless “new covenant gospel” exist in derogation of the inspired scriptures; a traditional doctrine focusing solely on the forgiveness of sin yet having no knowledge of what sin definitively is, as well as having no way to know the LORD by his holiness, justice and goodness for such is found only from walking in His commandments and laws.

It is to break the bonds of tradition, so easily influenced (if not designed) by the heart of men, that we must in reasoning the scriptures set out to do: the scripture alone holding the only key to true doctrine and pure tradition handed down by the Holy Spirit.

And so the primary emphasis of this compilation, is that:

  • He (Christ) was manifested to take away our sin.

  • Sin is transgression of the law.

  • Whosoever transgresseth the law has not know Christ.

  • The law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

  • Christians should strive to be holy, just and good.

  • Holiness, Righteousness and Goodness come from no other place but from GOD’s Word as taught in His Law.

  • Our bodies are to be a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is our reasonable service after that we have put on Christ sacrifice in Baptism.

-All of this thereby keeps God’s desire for man consistent-

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:

Fear God, and keep his commandments:

this is the whole duty of man.

For God shall bring every work into judgment,

with every secret thing,

whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

(Ecclesiastes 12:13-14)
