The Gospel of the Kingdom

Pt. 2

John The Angel

The Messenger of the Covenant

Notice the way in which the Gospel of the kingdom evangelized:

Mar_1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

This statement has within it’s construct some crucial evidence in finding the meaning of the statement it self.

  • The time is fulfilled

  • The kingdom of God is at hand

  • Repent and Believe (Faith or Trust) in the Gospel

(Due to the nature of the points Repentance shall lead, followed by The Kingdom which is at hand.)

This is the scope of our Study in this series: to understand as best we can these 3 aspects of Christ’s ministry which we know as well from the biblical testimony that John was preaching this same Kingdom and Gospel message of Repentance:

Mat_3:1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judah,

Mat 3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

and Matthew’s record as well tells us that Christ used the same language as John:

Mat_4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

This message of the Kingdom come was directed in ministry towards the same people the entirety of Scripture is written to:

Mat_10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

Mat 10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Mat 10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

The constructed order of Mar_1:15 sets the fulfillment of this Kingdom of God accompanied by repentance and the Gospel: briefly, it is of necessity to allow for the Greek words which are translated ‘Repent’ and ‘Gospel’ as to assure the collective evidence needed for establishing a definition. As the LXX is as well written in Greek it is a great translation of the Hebrew Scriptures to ascertain this evidence. As well there are some simple definitions as told by James Strong (one of the most used Lexicographers to date on Biblical Greek and Hebrew, and his works are greatly apprised by the Bible reading community as, it is upon much of his efforts to give the common English speaker a way to see beyond the English version, it is upon his efforts that a foundation was laid for many other tools we now have nearly 200 years later! And frankly it bothers me to hear many lesser men of biblical language to belittle Strong’s efforts as to elevate there own inferior work, when honestly one compares. I and others may disagree with a point of language derivation as sited by Strong, or as I often do go beyond the definition of the root word Strong’s gives on to the words composition, yet one should honestly acknowledge such a man’s efforts.)

When we consider the great number of references and direct sightings of this announcement of the Kingdom by John the baptist, Christ, and the apostles, we see foremost a call to repentance.

The Announcement of the Kingdom’s coming was a call to repentance.

Repent… or μετανοειτε / Meta-noeite

G3340

μετανοέω

metanoeō

met-an-o-eh’-o

From G3326 (meta) and G3539 (nooce)

Strong’s puts it: to think differently or afterwards, that is, reconsider (morally to feel compunction): – repent.

Some translations have this compound word translated ‘changing mind’, which conveys the same point as repentance in the liter English construction, yet it is the accompaniment of the mind changer that the statement gains it’s direction. In Mark it was ‘Repent and Believe the Gospel ‘, in Matthew it was ‘repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand’, the direction in which this sets the tone of repentance is based upon the affect this faith in the Gospel of the Kingdom has on ones mind, how it changes it. In other words, what ever was expected or known from the Scriptures, which was convayed by the Holy Spirit through the Law and Prophets in the written word of God, prior to the coming of John and Christ, is what was being preached in the statement ‘the kingdom of God (or Heaven) is at hand’, the beliefe, faith or trust which Christ and John were calling the people to was a fore spoken of and this message was now being preached that it was at hand or within reach, or able to be handled due to it’s nearness, the statement ‘at hand’ references the nearness of the kingdom, as to be close enough to handle it, know it or feel it . The call was to have an impact upon the mind of the people to know they had the kingdom near to them at this good-announcement known to us by the Saxon phrase Gospel.

Most Bible readers know that the Gospel is ‘the good news’ or ‘good tidings’, as a literal understanding of it’s meaning, yet it is of importance before moving on to consider some logic and language on this word ‘Gospel’ and it’s Greek original eu-anggelion.

Some logic:

Every Gospel is in need of a good- spealer or in Greek, every eu-anggelion is in need of a good angel, in moder English we now pronounce this word: evangel, yet it is Identical in meaning as the word Gospel. The later portion of the word is none other than angel which literally means in Greek ‘a messenger’, which may be a human messenger sent from YHWH or perhaps one from heaven.

The English Germanic word Gospel, derives it’s origin from the original Saxon form “Go(o)d-Spell” which is a literal translation of the Greek and or Hebrew compound word, consider one of the most early “English” translations of the story of Christ, the translation of the

“West Saxon Gospels” of 1175:

Mar_1:1 Her ys godspelles angin hælendes cristes godes sune.

Literaly. Here is the Good-spell again (archaic. beginning, from the top) of the Healer Christ god’s son.

(“Jesu” literally means Savior or Healer)

This is how the majority of the world has started to use the archaic Saxon word for “Eu-aggel”, we now pronounce ‘Evangel’ as the word is easily seen by the mindful English speller: Go-Spel which is a compound word for God – Spel or Good- Spell: as the meaning of the Greek “Eu” is “Good” turned to the shortened form of “God”, and then contracted to “go”. As for the Archaic “spel” which is modernly “spell”, yet it’s more rooted definition is defined by

Noah Webster in 1828 is

Spell

SPELL, n. [The verb primarily signifies to throw or drive, and is probably formed on the root of L. pello. In some of the application of spell, we observe the sense of turn. We observe the same in throw, warp, cant, &c.]

1. A story; a tale.

So the “Go-spel” is simply the archaic Saxon words “Go(o)d-spell”

The Beginning of the Gospel

So in the Scriptures of Israel written in Greek we are looking for the time being fulfilled that will indicate the above aspects of this kingdom by repentance, faith and Good-message.

As sited above and in context with both messages of John and Christ, this Good-Message was accompanied by repentance or a mind change. As well prior in Mark as sited above to show the archaic use of the word Gospel we have Mark’s announcement

Tyndale 1526:

Mar_1:1 The beginning of the Gospell of Jesu Christ the son of God,

Mar_1:2 as it is written in the prophets, behold I send my messenger (angel) before thy face which shall prepare thy way before thee.

Mar_1:3 The voice of one that crieth in the wilderness: prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight (Eu-theias: lit. good-placment).

Mar_1:4 John did baptise in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance, for the remission of sins. (Trans. Tyndale 1526)

Notice how that the messenger or angel, John the Baptist, is the one crying in the wilderness and calling for the paths to be made ‘straight’ or Eu-theias, it is within this Greek word that we find the first portion of the Eu-angel, that is Eu or good, the good or well placed path or straight path, thus when we consider this from the Greek perspective, the Gospel or Evangelion is the message of the straight path, this was John’s contribution to the Gospel.

Since in this very place we are told this is the beginning of Christ’s Gospel and it is ad-fixed with Mark’s own understanding of this message he pulls from the prophets to validate his claim: Seemingly by compare the Prophet quoted is

Mal_3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me (Heb. and Gk: literally says ‘before my face’ L-PaN-Y / לפני) : and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.

Mal 3:2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:

Mal 3:3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

Mal 3:4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

Mal 3:5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger , and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

Mal_3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

This ending sounds strikingly familiar in sentiment to Heb_13:8

The LAW

and

The Messenger,

and

The WAY

Before moving to the next prophet it is advantagous to also consider the siting from the Law and it’s context which Malachi is quoting:

Exo_23:20 Behold, I send an Angel (Messenger, in the Hebrew the word is MLAK) before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

Exo 23:21 Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.

Exo 23:22 But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.

Exo 23:23 For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.

Exo 23:24 Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.

Exo 23:25 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

Exo 23:26 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

Exo 23:27 I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.

This particular aspect of this siting in reference is to John, he was the messenger, the angel, the MLAK, whom the people were to fear and obey. It is easy to find ones self applying the statement to Christ, yet it is very directly referencing John. As Christ is the way.

Joh_14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Joh 14:7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

MLAK references a kingdom role, in the Hebrew, the exact same Hebrew word is used regularly to describe a king, it is not insignificant that this Gospel we are are focusing on is the Good-Message of the Kingdom, and the Hebrew word used here for messenger is as well the word for king.

The Vulgate’s Latin text of the prior , which is a translation of earlier manuscripts in 405ad by Jerome forwards truly the quote of the Prophet Isaiah as well as in both mark and Matthew’s reference to the Preaching of John’s Gospel.

Joh_1:23 He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.

Isa 40:1 Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.

Isa 40:2 Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD’S hand double for all her sins.

Notice just before getting to the quote John uses, the context is of Jerusalem’s return from warfare, her iniquity is pardoned, her punishment time is accomplished, this is called to attention on account of the situation of

The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand…Mar_1:15

Isa_40:3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Isa 40:4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

Isa 40:5 And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

Isa 40:6 The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:

Isa 40:7 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.

Isa 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

So we see the mountains being brought low, the valleys being raised, thus a leveling is having by the evangelism of John, repetance shown and confessed in Baptism is enacted in preparation for the coming Kingdom which is at hand, the reminder of the meaning of the message is the illustration given by Isaiah of grass which flourishes and fades and dies away, yet the eternal aspect of this Gospel, this good message, these good tidings cried upon the mountains is: ‘All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:..The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. ‘

Echoed in the preaching of John to the same function of the Holy Spirit:

Mat_3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit, and fire:

Mat 3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

Then we hear:

Isa_40:9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings (Ev-angelizing: Gospel), get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings (Gospel), lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah,

Notice to Zion, notice the evangelism going forward, the Gospel, the good-message:

Behold your God! Isa_40:10 Behold, the Lord YHWH will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

Isa 40:11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

That is the faith of the’Good-Message’ it is the ‘straight path’, He is the ‘Way the Truth and the Life ‘ found in the coming Shepard and King of Zion who rules by YHWH’s arm!

So here is my question in ending this 2nd part of this Message,

  • Is this the Gospel you understand in the preaching of John and of Christ?
  • Is it a call to repentance by the word of our God that stands for ever?

that is a mind change or a repentance on account of the Kingdom which is at hand?

  • Is it a Gospel, a good message that the wicked will wither away by the Spirit of God?
  • That those who walk by faith in these GOOD tidings, Evangelion of the Way the Truth and the Life of Christ which we come to the Father?

This is a call to repentance, to walk in the way of God’s WORD, to walk in the Truth, of God’s WORD and to walk in the Life of God’s word in order to get to the promised land which Christ leads us to. Repentance leads us to John’s Baptism, John has lead us to Christ, Christ’s Way leads us to the Father…and there is no other way to achieve the Kingdom, to enter into it but by Him.

Please do not misunderstand, this is not speaking of Faith with out works, I am speaking of obedience to the voice of the Word of God Breather by his Spirit for us to walk in to show our sanctification by the message we have received:

Mat 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Mat 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

And to the point first point of Mar_1:15 the time of fulfillment, we shall explore in the next message, as well as how the wicked seek to take the kingdom by force…

Israel Identity

The Regathering of the Tribes of Jacob

The subject of Biblical Common Law or Torah is a concept that has been discussed by this ministry more than I have kept track of, and it is a subject that for me personally governs my thoughts and actions from day to day, I am of course falable and I am by no means claiming perfection, but I am claiming that in every instance of life it is my goal to weigh my actions by YHWH’s standards of what we call right and wrong, or more biblically what YHWH calls Good and Evil, Righteousness and wickedness, Obedience and sin, it is the defining principle that which offers blessing or curse in this world and in that which is to come.

The concept of Biblical reality that I speak on so often is a combative measure, to engage the enmity of the flesh which resides in many of the people who believe them selves to be christian today which claim a full gospel faith, or a trust in the entire word of God; I combat those because it is their hypocritical view that claims faith, trust or belief in the bible as the infallible word of God to men but deny, negate, and attempt to disprove vast portions of the scriptural testament, by their so called faith.

It is often times that church goers are the most staunch in opposition to one who proclaims the biblically realistic Gospel. Turn to Isaiah 52 to see the proclamation:

Isa 52:6 Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.

Isa_52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

The Gospel Message is an immense message it is a message which tell’s YHWH’s people who are scattered through out the earth that their King Reigns!

It is a non diverse, non tolerant, non multicultural message!

The Truth of the Gospel is according to the Good news found in the scriptures that Israel’s God is KING, The father of Jesus the Christ Is the King of all the earth and no other! And as King, those of His Kingdom are governed by His Law. It is this law which tells the subjects of the Kingdom how to function, it tells them it’s awsome and deadly letter the punishment and judgment for sin and by it’s Loving Spirit the Benafit and Blessing offered by it’s perfection.

Yet in our day most so called Christians believe in a King which governs nothing but Spirit, intangible and un-realistic, a Kingdom only attainable in death ruled by a King who has no Law, but one which directly contradicts the very Spirit of the Person of God seen in the very first commandment believed to be abrogated by another gospel and another Jesus the son of a lawless God., which states clearly in the English IAM THE LORD THY GOD… THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER GOD’S BEFORE ME! And proclaimed by the 2nd commandment which forbids any form worship or service in worship to a physical thing other than The LORD, by adding I THE LORD AM A JELOUS GOD. The term LORD GOD is synonymous with the Hebrew title name YHWH which literally means He That Is that is HE THAT IS GOD or as our English Bible puts it I AM THAT I AM.

This personality of God is Jealous and his very memorial name proclaims that he is Ever living and unchanging.

If some wish to believe in a God that changes and abrogates his own morality and law that is their prerogative, and untimely their soul…its a free will, you have the choose who you will serve.

As for me I will serve YHWH the best I can by obeying his Kingship by obeying His Law, and striving to attain salvation in this life and that which is to come by seeking his Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven, that is by ever means possible to affect a change on this world to proclaim THE LORD GOD as the King and GOD’s Law as the Only true Law, no matter where that leads me personally, or as a head of my family, no matter how hard the course is to follow this mountain is to be climbed by our beautiful feet of redemption shod with the preperation of the Gospel Eph_6:15.

Paul put this quote in to context in Roman where the focus of the message is no different that of the rest of the scripture, and particularly those of whom Christ came according to the New Covenant, the house of Israel and Judah according Heb_8:8 and Jer_31:31 where he continues is epalogue saying

Rom 10:1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

Rom 10:2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

Rom 10:3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

He going on to validate the fact that by Christ the So of God’s New Covenant made in his blood the end of the sin stain upon israel is able to be ended by the manifestation of Christ in being the end means of of the laws perfection. And continuing on in teaching the primary law in operation which establishes the New Covenant in Christ’s blood as found in

Deu_30:1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,

Deu 30:2 And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;

Deu 30:3 That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.

YHWH tells the Gentilized scattered Israelite that

Deu 30:10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

Deu 30:11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.

And Paul concludes as with calling this section of God’s Perfect Law, a law which Paul says that if a man shall do those things he shall live by them THE WORD OF FAITH in saying:

Rom 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

Rom 10:7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)

Rom 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

And just as the proclamation of Isaiah was sent to the house of Israel and the Prophet Nahum sent to the house Judah who also proclaimed this Gospel in Nah_1:15

We are told in Rom 10:12 there is no difference between Judah and the Greek speaking dispersed house of Israel of whom Paul was writing to in Greek: for it is the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

Rom_10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

Rom 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

In describing those spoken of by Moses, Isaiah, Nahum, and now Paul says:

Rom 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Rom 10:18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

Hear Paul quotes the organic, and natural witness of the Heavens, which acts as the primary testament for those scattered people, Just as Jeremiah the prophet proclaimed in Jer_31:35 in summarizing the solemn feast of the Sabbath in Exodus 31 and mentioned by Nahum he says:

Psa 19:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Psa 19:2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

Psa 19:3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

Psa 19:4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

Psa 19:5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.

Psa 19:6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

Psa 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

Psa 19:8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

Psa 19:9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

Psa 19:10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

Psa 19:11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

Psa 19:12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

Psa 19:13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

Psa 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Rom_10:19 But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.

Rom 10:20 But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.

Rom 10:21 But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.

And as well the prophet Nahum discribes a portion of that peace brought by the Gospel or Good tidings, when he as prophet to Judah as Isaiah was to Israel

The subject of Biblical Common Law or Torah is a concept that has been discussed by this ministry more than I have kept track of, and it is a subject that for me personally governs my thoughts and actions from day to day, I am of course falable and I am by no means claiming perfection, but I am claiming that in every instance of life it is my goal to weigh my actions by YHWH’s standards of what we call right and wrong, or more biblically what YHWH calls Good and Evil, Righteousness and wickedness, Obediance and sin, it is the defining principle that which offers blessing or curse in this world and in that which is to come.

As for me I will serve YHWH the best I can by obeying his Kingship by obeying His Law, and striving to attain salvation in this life and that which is to come by seeking his Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven, that is by ever means posible to affect a change on this world to proclaim THE LORD GOD as the King and GOD’s Law as the Only true Law, no matter where that leads me personally, or as a head of my family, no matter how hard the course is to follow this mountian is to be climbed by our beautiful feet of redemption shod with the preperation of the Gospel Eph 6:15.

Paul put this quote in to context in Roman where the focus of the message is no different that of the rest of the scripture, and particularly those of whom Christ came accourding to the New Covenant, the house of Israel and Judah accourding Heb_8:8 and Jer_31:31 where he continues is epalogue saying

And contiuing on in teaching the primary law in operation which establishes the New Covenant in Christ’s blood as found in Deu_30:1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,

Deu 30:2 And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;

Deu 30:11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.

and Paul concludes as with calling this section of God’s Perfect Law, a law which Paul says that if a man shall do those things he shall live by them THE WORD OF FAITH in saying

Rom 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

And just as the proclamation of Isaiah was sent to the house of Israel and the Prophet Nahum sent to the house Judah who also proclaimed this Gospel in Nah_1:15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.

We are told in Rom 10:12 there is no difference between Judah and the Greek speaking dispersed house of Israel of whom Paul was writting to in Greek: for it is the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

In discribing those spoken of by Moses, Isaiah, Nahum, and now Paul says:

Rom 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Rom 10:18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

Hear Paul quotes the organic, and natural witness of the Heavens, which acts as the primary testament for those scattered people, Just as Jeremiah the prophet proclaimed in Jer_31:35 in summerizing the solmn feast of the Sabbath in Exodus 31 and mentioned by Nahum he says

The regathering of the Tribes of Jacob is the very first concept needed in understanding the Biblical Common Law, the Law of God, because with out the establishment of the Tribes of Israel, the Law has very little application in National reality.

Isa 49:3 And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.

Isa 49:4 Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the LORD, and my work with my God.

Isa 49:5 And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.

Isa 49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

Isa 49:7 Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.

Isa 49:8 Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;

Isa 49:9 That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.

Lets start out in the Law:

Lev 25:23 The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.

Lev 25:24 And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land.

Lev 25:25 If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath sold away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold.

Rth 3:1 Then Naomi her mother in law said unto her, My daughter, shall I not seek rest for thee, that it may be well with thee?

Rth 3:2 And now is not Boaz of our kindred, with whose maidens thou wast? Behold, he winnoweth barley to night in the threshingfloor.

Rth 3:3 Wash thyself therefore, and anoint thee, and put thy raiment upon thee, and get thee down to the floor: but make not thyself known unto the man, until he shall have done eating and drinking.

Rth 3:4 And it shall be, when he lieth down, that thou shalt mark the place where he shall lie, and thou shalt go in, and uncover his feet, and lay thee down; and he will tell thee what thou shalt do.

Rth 3:5 And she said unto her, All that thou sayest unto me I will do.

Rth 3:6 And she went down unto the floor, and did according to all that her mother in law bade her.

Rth_3:7 And when Boaz had eaten and drunk, and his heart was merry, he went to lie down at the end of the heap of corn: and she came softly, and uncovered Th-GaL H1540 his feet,Me-Ro-GaLThH4772, and laid her down.

The word for uncover in normal GaL-Eh H1540 it is here in the feminine form Th-GaL, as the word for redeem is GAL H1350, the words are indicative of each other. This is also the word used in Lev_18:6 and 20 when dealing with unlawful uncovering and is the general word for the action: L-GaLTh ללות / GaLEh גּלה 1540 to uncover. The action of Gal is not in the focus of uncovering or covering as the word used in verse 9 in the phrase “near kinsman” is again an also GAL, but the idea of the Hebrew logic is gathered up into the idea of ‘kinship covering’ and I believe may be best described by the Gaelic custom of Tartan most know of from Scotland, I don’t think its a surprise that the Gaul’s or Gaelic people, also called Gaults/ Celts or Kelts ware a skirt named after them called a Kilt made of their family banner called a Tartan. Having a name strikingly in resemblance to the Hebrew Word GaL, consider also the Hebrew word for the (Tribe) banner or standard is DGaL דגלH1714, Just as the Kilt (GaLT) Tartan is a banner of/ standard of a family , the cloth skirt which men wear in all functions of family life, from Birth to Marriage to Battle to Death, the covering they have is the banner of their GAeLic family, their Kinsmen, those who they by Rights may Redeem.

In the days of Ruth the language indicates the same idea as that which was used by the less ancient GauLs, it was an important part of Israelite society, for to uncover a woman you must be willing to covered her with your kindred family. Much like the depleting custom of a woman taking the husband’s sir name or last name was common to our more modern grandparents in 2017, the Idea of patriarchal headship is key to the Israelite cultural heritage, and the two concepts are one in the same.

The Laws found in the scripture on the uncovering of nakedness are regulation that promote healthy growth of Israelite Christian Culture, which is bound in the Logic of God’s Law and thus the Law of Headship by Patriarchy, which is where Fathers rule their families by the fear of God; this aspect of fear is as well seen in the accompanying language of the portion of the skirt or covering which is specified by Ruth, that is the KNaF or edge, border. As commanded in Deu_22:12 where the command is found to hem a ribbon or thread of blue for the remembrance of YHWH’s Law, the edge of the skirt of an Israelite man was to represent the Law of YHWH; Interestingly enough in Rth_2:12 …YHWH God of Israel, under whose wings (KNaF) thou art come to trust. Ruth’s Trust or Faith is seen in her Lawful actions and personality of virtue, and this symbolism in Ruth’s actions are just as virtuous as Ruth seeking her place of Redemption in Boaz’s right of redemption, undoubtedly, Boaz’s family skirt was hemmed by the perfect redemptive law of YHWH, a Tartan every man should want as his family banner.

A lesson in Hebrew GauLic

Kinsman/ Redeem: GAL or GaL

Right of Redemption: GALEh

Foot: R-GaL

Before the Feet (ankle/shin): MR-GaL

Standard / Banner D-GaL

Uncover: GaLEh / GaLTh

Rth_3:8 And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was afraid, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet.

Rth_3:9 And he said, Who art thou? And she answered, I am Ruth thine handmaid: spread therefore thy skirt (KNaF) over thine handmaid; for thou art a near kinsman.

Rth 3:10 And he said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my daughter: for thou hast shewed more kindness in the latter end than at the beginning, inasmuch as thou followedst not young men, whether poor or rich.

Rth_3:11 And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to thee all that thou requirest: for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman.

Rth 3:12 And now it is true that I am thy near kinsman: howbeit there is a kinsman nearer than I.

There is a simply Godly truth that Boaz knew, and that, despite the passion, despite the offer, despite the allure, despite the fact that no one may have known what could happen on this intoxicated harvest night except Boaz and Ruth and the justification that Boaz may have used ‘that he would most likely have been the lawful Redeemer of Ruth and as such would have had no repercussions for his action if he were to cover Ruth with his skirt that night’.

Rather Boaz had the prescience of mind which Paul taught in

2Ti_2:5 that: if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.

And that Law is found in this Numbers 27:

Num_27:8 And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a man die, and have no son, then ye shall cause his inheritance to pass unto his daughter.

Num 27:9 And if he have no daughter, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his brethren.

Num 27:10 And if he have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his father’s brethren.

Num 27:11 And if his father have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his kinsman that is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it: and it shall be unto the children of Israel a statute of judgment, as the LORD commanded Moses.

So it is that despite the temptation that may be easily seen in the Text, Boaz Passion for YHWH’s Law over rides his lust and even rational judgment which could have controlled him on the mater, a rational judgment which could have easily disregarded the Law and Word of YHWH.

Rth_3:13 Tarry this night, and it shall be in the morning, that if he will perform unto thee the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman’s part: but if he will not do the part of a kinsman to thee, then will I do the part of a kinsman to thee, as the LORD liveth: lie down until the morning.

THE PART OF THE KINSMAN / THE DUTY OF AN HUSBAND’S BROTHER

Deu_25:5 If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger: her husband’s brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty of an husband’s brother unto her.

Deu 25:6 And it shall be, that the firstborn which she beareth shall succeed in the name of his brother which is dead, that his name be not put outH4229 MaHEh G1813 of Israel.

Deu 25:7 And if the man like not to take his brother’s wife, then let his brother’s wife go up to the gate unto the elders, and say, My husband’s brother refuseth to raise up unto his brother a name in Israel, he will not perform the duty of my husband’s brother.

Deu 25:8 Then the elders of his city shall call him, and speak unto him: and if he stand to it, and say, I like not to take her;

Deu 25:9 Then shall his brother’s wife come unto him in the presence of the elders, and loose his shoe from off his foot, and spit in his face, and shall answer and say, So shall it be done unto that man that will not build up his brother’s house.

Deu 25:10 And his name shall be called in Israel, The house of him that hath his shoe loosed.

Rth_3:14 And she lay at his feet until the morning: and she rose up before one could know another. And he said, Let it not be known that a woman came into the floor.

Rth 3:15 Also he said, Bring the vail that thou hast upon thee, and hold it. And when she held it, he measured six measures of barley, and laid it on her: and she went into the city.

Rth 3:16 And when she came to her mother in law, she said, Who art thou, my daughter? And she told her all that the man had done to her.

Rth 3:17 And she said, These six measures of barley gave he me; for he said to me, Go not empty unto thy mother in law.

Rth 3:18 Then said she, Sit still, my daughter, until thou know how the matter will fall: for the man will not be in rest, until he have finished the thing this day.

Rth_4:1 Then went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the kinsman of whom Boaz spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down.

Rth_4:2 And he took ten men of the elders of the city, and said, Sit ye down here. And they sat down.

Deu_16:18 Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment.

Accordingly, this law is the foundational structure of Israelite Government, that is the Headship of the Elders or old men, the Judges were taken from the Natural Heads of the people with an Officer or Scribe, Naturally the Head was an Elder men who had knowledge in YHWH’s Law and was honest and wise. These Elder Judges who were Heads of Families were Naturally kin to those who lived in Bethlehem, thus they sat at the literal Gate of Judgment and the matters of the jurisdiction was committed to those Old Men who would do the best adjudicating for their kinsmen.

Rth_4:3 And he said unto the kinsman/redeemer , Naomi, that is come again out of the country of Moab, selleth a parcel of land, which was our brother Elimelech’s:

Rth 4:4 And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it, redeem it: but if thou wilt not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know: for there is none to redeem it beside thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will redeem it.

Rth 4:5 Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance.

Rth_4:6 And the kinsman GAL said, I cannot redeem GAL it for myself, lest I mar (A-SHY-Th אשׁחית H7843 ) mine own inheritance: redeem GAL thou my right GALThY to thyself; for I cannot redeem GAL it.

lest I mar (A-SHY-Th אשׁחית H7843 )

Deu_9:26 I prayed therefore unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, destroy H7843 not thy people and thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed through thy greatness, which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand.

Jdg_2:19 And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they returned, and corrupted H7843 themselves more than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down unto them; they ceased not from their own doings, nor from their stubborn way.

By the purely scriptural interpretation of the word ‘mar’, it seems safe to conclude that the kinsman of Boaz who is neared than he, was afraid that Ruth and Naomi would destroy or corrupt his inheritance, in the same way the

two examples offer above, this is because the kinsman of whom Boaz is speaking does not know the virtue of Ruth, and must account her to be removed and as such she may be one who may corrupt his inheritance by her Moabite practices, much how Lot was corrupted by his life in Sodom, and the distant Benjamites had corrupted them selves.

Rth 4:7 Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel.

Rth 4:8 Therefore the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy it for thee. So he drew off his shoe.

Rth 4:9 And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech’s, and all that was Chilion’s and Mahlon’s, of the hand of Naomi.

Rth_4:10 Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon (H4248 Sick), have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off Y-KRaTh /יכרתH3772 from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye are witnesses this day.

While the poetic connection is present in this text of Ruth in the Hebrew it is much to complex to explain to those who do not study Hebrew, yet in the Greek I am persuaded that the LXX translators saw this Rhyme of thought and expressed it in the Greek for it’s readers as well, for those of you studying along who like such study as my self I encourage you to explore the Hebrew and Greek verse and it’s awesome poetry.

Mahlon Son of Elimelech / the Sick son of God my King has been redeemed by a New Covenant cut by Boaz / Strength

The words of Boaz’s doings are different in language but the same in reason as Deu_25:6, in the case of the letter of the law it is to keep the name in the linage, yet Boaz is a spiritual man and as such it is evident by his expression as to the Spirit of the Law, that is the phrase Y-KRaTh which is the word used in the ‘making’ of a covenant throughout the Law, that is that the name of the dead be not covenanted among his brother, this is contained in the Idea of the language, and if we remember the name Elimelech means God is my King and Mahlon the husband of Ruth means Sick, thus the symbolism of Christ’s work is yet not lost in this Kinsman redemption done by Boaz who is redeeming the line of his fallen brother Elimelech and moving Ruth and her people back into the Covenant of Israel despite the Sickness which befell her and Naomi in the land of their captivity.

Rth 4:11 And all the people that were in the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The LORD make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Bethlehem:

Rth 4:12 And let thy house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, of the seed which the LORD shall give thee of this young woman.

Rth 4:13 So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son.

Rth 4:14 And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the LORD, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel.

Rth 4:15 And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him.

Rth 4:16 And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it.

Rth 4:17 And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of David.

Rth 4:18 Now these are the generations of Pharez: Pharez begat Hezron,

Rth 4:19 And Hezron begat Ram, and Ram begat Amminadab,

Rth 4:20 And Amminadab begat Nahshon, and Nahshon begat Salmon,

Rth 4:21 And Salmon begat Boaz, and Boaz begat Obed,

Rth 4:22 And Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat David.

With this story in mind consider the context given to us by the Apostle Paul the Benjamite:

Rom_6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Rom 6:17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

Rom 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

Rom 6:19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

Rom 6:20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

Rom 6:21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

Rom 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Rom_7:1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?

Rom 7:2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

Rom 7:3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

Rom 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Rom 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

Rom 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

The Redemptive power of Christ! If that is not the theme of the story of Ruth and the end of the Book of Judges I do not know what it is!

Redeemed by the blood of the lamb as the seed of Israel we are kinsman redeemed!

Ruth the friend the out cast of the removed of Benjamin was called to be the wife a sick son of God the king, and in the removed land of Moab no rest was found her or her pleasant mother in law Naomi, Yet after the death of her sick husband she bound herself to the pleasant remnant of the only thread she had to the inheritance of Israel. Ruth humbled herself as a servant to Naomi and worked out her salvation with fear and trembling before the forefather of our Lord and Christ because she knew that he was her redeemer! And in her humility and zeal she received the reward of her faith in action, she was married to another who would bring forth fruit and that fruit would raise up the tribes of Israel by her womb, by her womb we are told was the seed given a restorer of life, and that son the neighbors called Servant the son of Strength Boaz!

WHAT IS THE (HOLY) SPIRIT?

Part 8

and

What is Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit?

But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of YHWH, and of judgment, and of might,

To declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.

Mic_3:8

In a serious contemplation of the ‘unforgivable sin’ of blasphemy of the holy spirit, let us apply the truth we have just recently learned in these last 7 messages on the biblically realistic function and moving of the Spirit and apply it to a commonly misidentified or confused possibility of doing so, one which should be horrifying to any who seek after the highest goal of faith which is Eternal life through Jesu(s) Christ and the Resurrection of the Kingdom of God.

Hereafter is a lengthy summation of what I hope has been extracted, be side the historical citations, on the primary functions of the Spirit from the strictness of the WORD of God, as in defining “what is the Spirit” and in the end of this summation an answer to the question “what is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit?”, this understanding and answer to this question should be exact and easy enough identified that no one would possibly commit it with out wit of doing so, the answer seems to be so common sense that the approach will undoubtedly be resisted by those seeking a more mystical answer, but first let it be reflected upon

The Spirit of God:

Gen_1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Gen 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Gen_1:26 And God said, Let us make ADaM in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Gen 1:27 So God created the ADaM in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Gen_2:7 And YHWH God formed the ADaM of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

A portion we did not yet cover, but is imperative to the Spirit and it’s function is

Gen_6:1-16 And it came to pass, when the ADaM began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of ADaM that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

Gen_6:3 And YHWH said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh… And YHWH saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Gen 6:6 And it repented YHWH that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

Gen 6:7 And YHWH said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Gen 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of YHWH.

Gen 6:9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

Gen 6:12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth…behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

NOTICE HOW DOMINON was take away due to Adam’s corruption and ignorance of the Spirit of God, striving mentioned is none other than the wrestlings of Judgment found in Wisdom, understanding and knowledge that which makes light after the image of God in a world which would otherwise be formless and void and covered in darkness identified as evil, corruption and violence. This new addition to our compilation of scriptural understand should not be forgotten.

Pharaoh in Gen_41:38-40 speaks of the Spirit of God in the same fashion as the Biblical understanding offers saying Joseph was “a man in whom the Spirit of God is?

there is none so discreet and wise…

Showing that in all cases this spirit may rightly be compared to wisdom, knowledge and understanding and in this case and others discretion.

This same Genesis Spirit was revived in Israel by a refreshing and renewal as easily seen in the lives of Moses, the elders of Israel, Joshua son of Nun, Bezaleel son of Uri, filling them with wisdom as the Spirit of Wisdom, Knowledge and understanding .

In the establishment of the Congregation of Israel, or Congregation of YHWH YHWH or of the Church called in NT times we see this same function imparted to the people and persons in the following verses, much as was refreshed yet again in the book of Acts on the day of Pentecost:

Of YHWH’s Law which was codified in the days of Moses which Romans 7:14 has confirmed to be Spiritual:

Deu_4:5 Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as YHWH my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.

Deu 4:6 Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.

Deu 4:7 For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as YHWH our God is in all things that we call upon him for?

Deu 4:8 And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?

Deu 4:9 Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons’ sons;

Deu 4:10 Specially the day that thou stoodest before YHWH thy God in Horeb, when YHWH said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.

Of the captains, heads and Judges :

Deu_1:13 Take you wise men, and understanding (same as Joseph’s discretion H995), and known among your tribes, and I will make them rulers over you.

of the 70 elders:

Num_11:17 And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.

Num_11:25 And YHWH came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease.

Speaking on Joshua’s rebuke of the elders power Moses responded with:

Num_11:29 And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all YHWH’S people were prophets, and that YHWH would put his spirit upon them!

Of the artificers or workers of common jobs needed to preform the work on YHWH’s Temple, of which we are told of the Head man Bezaleel and his yoke fellow of this ministry in Exo_31:1-5,

I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:

Exo 31:3 And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee;

see also Exo_28:3 ,Exo_35:21-31

And of Joshua Son of Nun the first Judge of Israel after Moses

Num_27:16-18 Let YHWH, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation,

Num 27:17 Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of YHWH be not as sheep which have no shepherd.

Deu_34:9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as YHWH commanded Moses.

As well are the numerous time the Judges of the book of Judges are said to have “the Spirit of YHWH” come upon them to make war and deliver God’s people from the hand of those who oppressed them.

In the days of the first Kings of Israel we are told importantly of how Saul was given of the Spirit of YHWH, and it came upon him, and he prophecied, and was turned into another man. 1Sa_10:6

As well we are shown the repercussions of the Spirit being taken away from Saul and the lesson to be had of the madness which comes from the vacation of God’s Spirit, and the turning away of the renewed man from his renewal:

1Sa_16:14 But the Spirit of YHWH departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from YHWH troubled him.

David as well we are told was filled with the Spirit of YHWH in 1Sa_16:13 when Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of YHWH came upon David from that day forward…

And it was David that I so earnestly hearken back to in this compilation as he

Cried unto God in repentant mercy seen in Psa_51:1 pleading with the lord to

blotting out his transgressions, the Washing thoroughly from iniquity, and cleansing from sin; The desiring of truth in his inward parts and wisdom in the hidden parts of him, to create in him a clean heart and a renewed Spirit a right Spirit, a free spirit and to not at all take a measure of His Holy Spirit from him to the end that he as well might teach and convert sinners. (Psa_51:6-13)

So that at the end of his Live David said in 2Sa_23:2 The Spirit of YHWH spake by me, and his word in my tongue.

King Solomon son of David Prayed to YHWH in 1Ki_3:9 : Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people? and Wis_7:7 tells us Solomon called upon God, and the spirit of wisdom came“.

Nor can we let the prophets of Israel and Judah go un-mentioned, those Holy men of old, who spoke as they were moved by the holy spirit (2Pe_1:21), those who have the power and gift of foresight, those who Judged, taught and rebuked nations and kings, they healed, showed signs and miracles all by the Spirit of YHWH God

1Pe_1:11-12 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. Unto whom it was revealed… and are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost … those of whom fore saw the king of Israel the Son of Dave the Christ and son of God and his blood of the new covenant shed for the remission of many.

And Moving into the Books of the New Testament which testify of the new covenant in Christ, we are told of all the a fore mentioned Biblical attributes and functions of the Spirit being poured out with out measure into this Christ, as the WORD of YHWH GOD’s was made into a fleshly vessel, the Man Jesu(s) Christ, conceived of the Virgin according to the words of Isaiah, this man of whom John the Baptist said it was HE whom God hath sent speaking the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure to the son whom.

The Father loveth, and hath given all things into his hand… Joh_3:34-35

This very Christ taught of the primary functions of the Spirit in read in John 14, 15, 16 : Namely that it is a Spirit of Truth was a Comforter to come after his glorification into the bosom and right hand of the Father, and so said by John the beloved disciple in John 7:39 as to reveal meaning of Christ’s quote of Pro_18:4 which tells us that Christ is the source of wisdom, he is the ” word in the heart or belly of a man” which ” is a deep water, and a river and fountain of life spring forth.

As well, it has been shown and confirmed that the function of the Holy Spirit to come after that Glorification was to be rivers of living water to refresh and reform those dispersed and scattered of the house of Israel among the Nations as spoken by the Apostle Peter in Act_2:14-40 in proclamation of the present day of the Lord on that day of Pentecost by quoting the Prophet Joel where he said: And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am YHWH your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. Joe_2:27-29 Showing the great harmony found in the use of Christ and the holy spirit in bringing about God’s promise to Abraham Gen_12:3.

Giving a great harmony and contextual answer to the questions which the Pharisee’s asked in John 7:35 “will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?” a statement also made in the context of the book of Joel in the scattered among the Nations (Joe_3:1-7), an answer attested to by the testimony of Romans, Galatians, Corinthians and Ephesians, and Peter as well as Jam_1:1 “to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad”; all confirming that the Church of God’s calling and predestination are none other than those who the prophets had been ministering to since the days of Jacob Israel, those specified by the New Covenant in it’s precise and unchangeable terms seen in Heb_8:8″ the house of Israel and Judah”, the Gentiles or Nations called to awake to the marvelous light of Christ as the sons of the living GOD according to the holy spirit inspired Prophecy of Hosea (Hos_1:6-11 and Hos_2:23) a prophecy clearly explained in 1Pe_2:10 and Rom_9:25-26. And of this remnant of a people as numerous as the stars and sand Christ desires to build and establishing the Kingdom of God, empowered and maintained with Spiritual Gifts of Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge and Fruits of Truth and Comfort all stemming from the Spiritual manifestation of God’s Law upon the heart, mind and soul of the New Covenant recipient! This is what I believe is offered in the Holy Spirit to the True church of Christ as to bring about that which was proclaimed from the beginning by that Spirit that hovered of the waters and was breathed in to Adam and to give him Judgment and Wisdom and understanding in his flesh and dominion over the earth. The Dominion of Christ according to the Scriptures, the putting of all things under His feet, the placing all things in to his hands and the leading of Captivity Captive by the Blood of Christ. Amen

So it may by now be assumed that I am implying, due to the name of the message that if one were not to agree with my interpretation of the Holy Spirit’s function a fore mentioned that they are condemned, however this is not so, it is much simpler than agreeing with an interpretation. The effect of Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, however, is as far reaching as the synopsis I have Just given, and in the end one who commits such a hanous sin is indeed unredeemed, yet not unredeemable. Consider Christ’s statemet, which is undoubtedly a concept which is as fare back established as the knowledge of Good and Evil it’s self.

BlasphemyG988: G984 blapto hinder, injure or hurt̄ and G5345 fame as the English word

Mat_12:23 And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?

Mat_12:24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

Mat 12:25 And Jesu(s) knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

Mat 12:26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

Mat_12:27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges. (G954 Βεελζεβούλ(H1176) Baal=Lord/Master + ZBUB = Flies / Dung = Lord of Flies) (2Ki_1:2-18)

Mat 12:28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

Mat 12:29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.

Mat 12:30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.

Mat 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy OF the SPIRIT shall not be forgiven unto men.

Mat_12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in that to come.

Mat 12:33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.

Mat 12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Mat 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

Mat 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

Mat 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Notice language : If we are to say that simply and straightly according to the words of Christ in John 14, 15, 16 that the holy spirit is the Comforter and the Comforter is the Spirit of Truth, then what is it that we are warned against in this blasphemy? Straightly, we are warned of blaspheming the work of the Spirit, Namely: TRUTH AND COMFORT OF TRUTH, THE WISDOM OF GOD, FORGIVNESS, REPENTANCE, AND REDEMPTION, this is done by calling the salvation and healing of Christ offered in the scripture un-true, the Israelite who does so is uncomforted and they soon become lost as King Saul, tossed aside by there own vanity and desires: the flesh absorbs them selfishly. All of which is a contradiction to the Spirit we have prior defined, a Spirit that was and is and will be offering it’s purifying or holiness to those who seek it, indeed wisdom cries out. Consider this final summary of one who has done such a blasphemy:

Heb_10:26 For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Heb 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Heb 10:28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

Heb 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Heb 10:30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith YHWH. And again, YHWH shall judge his people.

Heb 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Over all, the most important thing to be remembered of this warning against blasphemy of the Spirit, it that the seed is planted in Truth, that is reality and the simple denial of Truth is the breeding ground for the bad fruit which grows in the heart and by which the mouth speaks. A simple action of endorsing an Idolatric falsehood, a devil which is no god, and or a lie in place of Truth is the unforgivable sin so long as one continues in it, with out repentance and who knows the better; Simply, the denial of Truth, Real truth, Actual truth is the worst thing a person can do…

2Th_2:10-12

…because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth,

but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

WHAT IS THE (HOLY) SPIRIT?

Part 7

Compiled by JS Lowther

ReNEWed Covenant Ministry

renewedcovenantministry.com

The subjects of Christ’s kingship and dominion over the earth offered and proclaimed in Psa_2:1-22, Psa_8:1-9 and Psa_110:1-7 have been a much needed and lacking part of understand in the role and function of the Holy Spirit: it’s gifts, fruits and effects upon the life of the redeemed Nation or Gentile of Israel. The Idea of the Holy Spirit having a solely individual function, a loving function and a mystical function as often taught in Sunday schools across the world is dimmed in the back drop of the forefront function of the Spirit and it’s role on this earth via Christ’s Church and brethren of Israel’s race; while the miraculous and so called spiritual or super natural is undoubtedly an attribute of the Spirit of God / the holy Spirit the primary function is that which has been since the breath of Christ as the word of God was first breathed upon the waters of this earth, a function that again: takes the unformed, void and darkness of this world and illuminates it by His Spirit of Creation and Order, commanding that the world be made decently and in order (Gen_1:2-3, 1Co_14:40)…that Christ might be ALL IN ALL, King of Kings and Lord of Lords to the glory of the Father YHWH ruling at his right hand with the World under His Feet by the shoeing of the Gospel and the war of the Sword of the SPIRIT, the WORD of God wounding the head of Enemy principalities and powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, that CHRIST MAY BE ALL IN ALL!

By HIS SPIRT

HE SHALL

Lead Sin and Death in the Flesh Captive by an ARMY of Redeemed captives!

THE CHURCH

(This Compilation is Esword compatable! -Just cut and past into you topic notes)

As this next portion of Ephesians picks back up it is imperative to retain the former context of chapters 2 and 3 which we covered in part 6 as Paul starts this statement with I therefore, this then undoubtedly continues the thoughts covered in chapter 3 and firmly place the proceeding admonitions and teaching on the Church and their spiritual gifts and fruits also upon the redeemed Israelite Gentiles of the diaspora who have been called back in to the Congregation, Church or Ekklasia of YHWH and of Israel and empowered by the many and varied vocations need for kingdom establishment.

Eph_4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation (Calling) wherewith ye are called,

Eph 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

Eph 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

1Co_12:6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

1Co_15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

Eph_1:23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Col_1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Eph 4:7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Eph_4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

Psa 68:18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.

Psa 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

Psa 68:20 He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto GOD the Lord belong the issues from death.

Psa 68:21 But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses.

Psa 68:22 The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:

Psa 68:23 That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same.

Eph 4:9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

Eph 4:10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

Eph 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Eph 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Eph 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Eph 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

Eph 4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Eph 4:17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

Eph 4:18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

Eph 4:19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

Eph 4:20 But ye have not so learned Christ;

Eph 4:21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

Eph 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

Eph 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

Eph 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Eph 4:25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

Eph 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Eph 4:27 Neither give place to the devil.

Eph 4:28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

Eph 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Eph 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Eph 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

Eph 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

Eph 5:1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

Eph 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

Eph 5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

Eph 5:4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

Eph 5:5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Eph 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Eph 5:7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

Eph 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

Eph 5:9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

Eph 5:10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

Eph 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Eph 5:12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

Eph 5:13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

Eph 5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

Eph 5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

Eph 5:16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Eph 5:17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Eph 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

Eph 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

Eph 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Eph 5:21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

Eph 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Eph 5:24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Eph 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

Eph 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Eph 5:28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

Eph 5:29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

Eph_5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

Eph 5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

Eph 5:32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

Eph 5:33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

Eph 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

Eph 6:2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)

Eph 6:3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

Eph 6:4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Eph 6:5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

Eph 6:6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

Eph 6:7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:

Eph 6:8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

Eph 6:9 And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.

Eph 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Eph 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

Eph 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Eph 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Eph 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Eph 6:19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

Eph 6:20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

WHAT IS THE (HOLY) SPIRIT pt.6 Sabbath Bible Study 4-15 (2017) Ephesians

    WHAT IS THE (HOLY) SPIRIT

?

PART 6

Continuing into the subject of ‘What is the (holy) Spirit?’ this is part 6 of the series of the same name: The discussion focuses quickly upon the spiritual gifts of forgiveness, knowledge and prudence given by the Father through Christ the Son via the Holy Spirit of Promise as we once again see the scope of YHWH’s Word sighting in on the people of the Covenant’s, Promises and of whom concerning the flesh Christ came, who is LORD over all!
As Israel become into view in the Ephesian epistle Paul’s same heaviness of heart is once again poured out as in the 9th chapter of Romans, for his people Israel, a people who were once cast away by God and stood with out hope in the world if it were not for that Grace given to Save Israel in the fullness of time, in the ages to come by the Blood of Christ and the effectual working of the Spirit to bring those Gentiles back in to the Covenant by an offer of RENEWAL, and a gift of reformation by God’s own Spirit!
Ephesians holds the mystery of the marriage relationship of God and His Beloved, and the high calling that only few have seen in the reNEWed birthright of inheritance in the Adoption of the Son’s of GOD, All brought in All by that Holy Spirit of Wisdom, knowledge, prudence, truth and comfort.

Consider the aspect of the redeemed in Ephesians, and it’s role in the Gifts of the Church, as this audio message hinges entirely upon the prior messages, especial in respect to the predestinated aspect of European Israrel and her role in the plane of God’s Grace, redemption and ultimately Salvation an aspect that is only the earnest of eternal life on earth as in heaven.

Eph_1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Eph 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Eph 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Eph 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Eph_1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Eph 1:8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

Eph 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

Eph 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Eph 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Eph 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Eph 1:15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,

Eph 1:16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

Eph 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

Eph 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

Eph 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

Eph 1:20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

Eph 1:21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

Eph 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

Eph 1:23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Eph_2:1 And you who were dead in trespasses and sins;

Eph 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

Eph 2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Eph 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Eph 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Eph 2:11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

Eph 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Eph 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

Eph 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

Eph 2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

Eph 2:17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

Eph 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

Eph 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

Eph 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

Eph 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

Eph 2:22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Eph 3:1 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

Eph 3:2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

Eph 3:3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

Eph 3:4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

Eph 3:5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

Eph 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

Eph 3:7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

Eph 3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

Eph 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Eph 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

Eph 3:11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

Eph 3:12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

Eph 3:13 Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

Eph 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Eph 3:15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

Eph 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

Eph 3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

Eph 3:18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

Eph 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Eph 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

Eph 3:21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Christ’s dominion is the ultimate goal of the Holy Spirit! Psalms 2, 8 and 110 have all spelled it out load and clear and the meek apostle / ambassador Paul is proclaiming it from the roof tops to the Gentilized Israelites of the diaspora in Ephesus and to the west. YHWH God chose to use this people to bring about HIS Kingdom and to be called according to his grace, by this exceptance the renewed Christian will walk worthily as he is called and march upon principalities and powers, the rules of the darkness of this world in full confidence of his faith, knowing that as the body of Christ and beloved of Him they are more than conquerors! Who is truly to know the breadth, and length, and depth, and height that this holy temple could truly encompass when filled with the True Holy Spirit of Promise?

In understanding the origins of the Holy Spirit and seeing it’s place in the pre-manifestation era, it easily seen how that the Holy Spirit is also referred to as the Spirit of God and the Spirit of the LORD / YHWH, after making such a connection the role of the Spirit is then seen in every aspect of the Scripture and in all portions of Holy writ. So then if the Spirit has been in the world since the time of creation what is the reason for the statement found in John 7:37If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

Joh_7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

Joh_7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) ?

What was the reason John had need to mention that “the Holy Ghost was not yet given;

because that Jesus was not yet glorified” ?

Let the Scripture which Christ is quoting help in this aid as the focus opens up upon the function of the Spirit in the Church this aspect will become more obvious:

…out of his belly (heart) shall flow rivers of living water.

Pro_18:4 A word in the heart of a man is a deep water, and a river and fountain of life spring forth. LXX-Brent

KJV Pro 18:4 The words of a man’s mouthH6310 (with in) are as deep waters, and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook.H5158 (river)

By compare of all other scriptures, Proverbs 18:4 is the closest in language and sentiment of language, as well it will neatly dove tail into the holistic purpose of the Spirit yet to be applied to this compilation. For if this scripture is referencing the Spirit given in the book of Acts which Christ did promise, as said by the apostle then the focus of both Prov 18 anthe glorification stated in Luk_24:44-49

24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Luk 24:45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

Luk 24:46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

Luk 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Luk 24:48 And ye are witnesses of these things.

Luk 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

And Power is fully explained in the continuation of the book of Luke we call the book of Acts,

Act_1:5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

Acts 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

Acts 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Consider the purpose for this ” Understanding” that is now being opened. It is the fulfilment of all aspects of the funcional work of the Holy Spirit for repentance, truth, wisdom, discipline and understanding.

Consider the context in which our Christ offered the word from Proverbs 18:4 which John expounded for us:

Pro_18:1 Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.

Pro 18:2 A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.

Pro 18:3 When the wicked cometh, then cometh also contempt, and with ignominy reproach.

Pro_18:4 The words of a man’s mouth are as deep waters, and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook.

Pro 18:5 It is not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment.

Pro 18:6 A fool’s lips enter into contention, and his mouth calleth for strokes.

Pro 18:7 A fool’s mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.

Pro 18:8 The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.

Pro 18:9 He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster.

Pro 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

Pro 18:11 The rich man’s wealth is his strong city, and as an high wall in his own conceit.

Pro 18:12 Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility.

Pro 18:13 He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him.

Pro 18:14 The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?

This lesson being taught via the context of Proverbs 18 is intended to lead our minds and hearts to intermeddle with the same wisdom being offered by the Holy Spirit, wisdom which is offered in the holistic approach to the fulfilment of Joel in the book of Acts chapter 2.

The Christian Era or post-manifestation era after the resurrection has a special place in the History of Israel and the world as a whole, in that Christ Jesu was the prophesied shepherd that would bring the Gentilized Israel and Judah together under the New Covenant and begin the work of sifting Israel through the nations, a process in which we are observably still in, and as thus God is still awaiting Israel’s Duet 30 repentance via the word of Faith as a collective nation. At this special place in time the Holy Spirit as described in the last section via the Hebrew scriptures as well as in the Wisdom of Solomon and the historical writers of the time of the apostles shows a very Logical, Truthful and Wise Spirit of discipline that should issue from ones interaction with the Spirit, and as thus the reference in John 7:39 is referencing this same manifestations as referred to in the scriptures before Christ, yet lacking the glorification of Christ’s triumph over death and the truth, wisdom and discipline held in this Covenantal revelation.

By this revelation, Christian Israel is able to grasp the first element necessary to establishing the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in Heaven, and that element is REPENTANCE, as seen in Acts 2: the first Judeans and Israelites whom God poured his spirit out on, were those partially responsible for the death of Christ, at that time Spirit came in the Hebrew logic “as a…wind”. Repentance was the first act of the Spirit while the hearing of the Apostles message “every man in his own tough” was the vehicle used by the Spirit, the effect was the focus, and to this answers the same logic as the former scriptures:

Psa 51:9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.

Psa 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Psa 51:11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

Psa 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

Psa 51:13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

This same spirit is given by the blood of Christ after His glorification, while this scripture shall hold that

Pro 18:4 A word in the heart of a man is a deep water, and a river and fountain of life spring forth.

The apostles saw the Spirit being poured out in their day as the Spirit prophecied in Joel

Joe_2:27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

Joe 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

Joe 2:29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

as the fulfillment of Psalm 2 further quoted in quoted in

Act_2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

Act_2:34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

Act 2:35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

Act 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

This out pouring was the same Spirit found in the prior mentioned scriptures we read in part 1 this is the Spirit of YHWH which brings about Repentance and the renewed Spirit and accompanies thereafter understanding, wisdom, truth and discipline (discipleship); the Spirit offered to every one who thirsts for the True Dominion of Christ according to Psalm 2, which will give power from on high in the bring about of Christ’s Lordship as the son of God upon Earth and Christ’s kingship for the House of Israel.

Consider why the Apostles chose to quote this Psalm one the day the Spirit was poured out directly after the glorification of Christ:

Psa_2:1 Why do the heathen (Gentiles) rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

Psa 2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

Psa 2:3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

Psa 2:4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

Psa 2:5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

Psa 2:6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

Psa 2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

Psa 2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Psa 2:9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.

Psa 2:10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

Psa 2:11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

Psa 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Psa_110:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. Psa 110:2 The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

Psa 110:3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

Psa 110:4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

Psa 110:5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

Psa 110:6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.

Psa 110:7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

So starting in Jerusalem after Christ’s glorification a more full revelation of the Spirit is being poured out upon Israel and it’s effects will touch the whole world, the spirit will change the worlds as it has done after the time of Christ and all flesh shall benefit from the promise given to Abraham, that in his one seed Christ will all the families of the earth be blessed. This blessing is realistically preserved in the wisdom, understanding, knowledge of truth that appeared in the time after the Apostles spread out in pursuit of the Gentiles of Europe, perhaps it was by the prophecy of the Spirit that the Judeans asked the question:

Joh_7:35 … Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles? In which our focal statement is found:

If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

This was the effect the Spirit was waiting for, to offer that same Spirit of repentance to the Gentilized Israelites of the diaspora as was offered to those Judeans of Acts Chapter 2, and to then after pour our his spirit upon all flesh as it is this day, as we now bask in the affects of the Christian Holy Spirit as a world, as ALL Flesh has the ability to benefit from the Wisdom, Truth and Righteousness that just flowed, due to the beginning sip which Israel took from the wellspring of Christ’s Repentance.

In Acts 2 power from on high was the repentance Spirit prophesied in Joel 2 as the Spirit which was poured out to affect the Psalm 2 Dominion and Lordship of Christ and the administration of this Kingdom Rule to be affected by Christ’s people, his Church/ Ecclesia as Disciples disciplined in the Word of God by the Holy Spirit an the Gifts which it gives unto men once they allow Christ to lead captivity captive.

Intermission

A Moment to Think

1 Corinthians 15:36-56:..that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:..to every seed his own body… So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body…Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption… the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

Another definition of sin

the strength of sin is the law”,

Consider in context why Paul mentions this after his discourse on bodily resurrection?

The strength of sin is the law because sin is transgression of the law, it is most definitely not because the law is sin, for Paul has answered that in the extreme negative in Romans 7:7. See below.

These Questions Paul expected to arise,

So he swiftly Answers.

Rom 3:30-31

Q. Do we then make void the law through faith?

A. God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Rom_6:1

Q. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

A. God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Rom 6:15

Q. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace?

A. God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Rom_7:7

Q. What shall we say then? Is the law sin?

A. God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

Rom 7:12-13

Q. Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. Was then that which is good made death unto me?

A. God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

If your “Christian” answer is different than Paul’s on any of these Questions

…It is not the Christian Answer.

Reason

In reasoning, the question begs to be answered by the disciple of Christ: If transgression of the law is sin, and if sin is known by the law, and the strength of sin is the law, should I sin or continue in sin (ignorant or willful) that the Grace (free gift of forgiveness of sin unto everlasting life) of Christ may be more plenteous?

In other words, should the disciple of Christ break God’s law, willfully, so that Christ’s free gift of forgiveness and everlasting life is more free, or that there is more gift to be given?

If the human judge would say, “Mr. Flesh-Man because you turned your self in for breaking the law, and your advocate (Christ) has convinced me of your new righteousness, I have decided to give you grace, to gift you forgiveness, and I will remember these crimes no more.” Would any wish not to obey the law unto righteousness? Would any conclude that they should stay the servant of crime and continue a criminal so that the judge’s gift of forgiveness may multiply with every intentional crime? And if the judge should find that same criminal intentionally ignoring the law so that he may fall into his grace, would forgiveness be granted?

The Heavenly judge speaks thus:

For if we sin wilfully (intentionally) after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the LORD. And again, The LORD shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God- Hebrews 10:26-31

Please consider the error of the Church world in ignoring the laws of God. What will be your answer when you see the judge? If he asks why you did not take heed to the word He gave you, the Word of God which you had on the shelf, the Word you read and heard but did not do?

Would you not rather have your address to the Judge of heaven and earth be, “I tried my best father, I did what was in your Word as much as I could.” ?

Perspectives from the Epistles

On account of the focus of this compilation, that Chis Jesu(s) was manifested to take away our sins, and this not only by his sacrificial death, but arguably, His Perfect Sacrificial Life which he lived for us to show us that New and Living way, this section III will not deal with the parts of the Epistles of the disciples and Apostles that cover Circumcision, but will stay focused on the original subject matter.

Christian Circumcision in undoubtedly a subject which will be covered by this compilation due to the questions which are engender due to it’s prevalence of mention in the book of Acts as well as the Epistles, yet for the intent of the more pressing over all understanding of the Life of Christ and it’s relevance to YHWH God’s Law, Covenants and Testaments the subject has been reserved with the overwhelming evidence needed to fault the preconceived presumption that Circumcision is no longer needed in the Christian Life. Thus, Romans as well as other Epistles will be focused on in this light at this section. JSL

III.A

The Romans Perspective

Romans 5:19-6:23 For as by one man’s (Adam) disobedience many were made sinners (1John 3:4, transgressors of the law), so by the obedience of one (Jesu(s) the Christ) shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

What shall we say then?

Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

God forbid.

How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: (This is Law after Grace, Paul concludes that as Christ died and rose again so must we too be dead to sin, in order to be raised in newness of life and Spirit, this allowing the law’s righteousness to not be stained with sin due to our carnal failure and inabilities, fulfilling the righteousness which is by the law with in Jesu(s) Christ.) Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin… For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey,

his servants ye are to whom ye obey;

whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

…Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

The infirmity in our flesh is sin, sin has it’s power from the law (5:20) for it is transgression of the law. God has called us unto a new life with in his law to justify our failures through Grace by faith. For if we break the law we are yet willful sinners; for being sanctioned as dead to sin and to live no longer there in, How could a Christian break the law (Matthew 5, 1 John 3:4) willfully and not be a servant to Sin?

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you,

that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life,

that both thou and thy seed may live:

(Deuteronomy 30:19)

III.A.2

The Law of Husband

Paul’s teachings on death to sin and life to righteousness

carry over into Chapter 7, he does not change themes.

Romans 7:1-25 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of husband. So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man. (The “law of husband” or “law to husband” is easy to be understood as an Exodus 20:14 7th commandment violation, yet God’s law using close language in Lev 20:10, and seen vividly in Numbers 5:19-20, the theme in the law of the husband is that the wife is under subjection to her husband while he lives. Yet the applicable law of death’s release is seen as well in Duet 25:5-6, where brethren (kinsmen) are admonished to “raise up seed” to their fallen brethren, thus taking the wife of the dead and making her the wife of the living kinsman to raise up seed or fruit in the name of the dead as maybe seen clearly in the book of Ruth. Kinsman redemption is the only form of God ordained Adoption in the scriptures.)

Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

(Important points made in Romans 8 are the repercussion of Christ’s death and resurrection, those repercussions are generally not excepted as Paul and other Scripture do teach, that Christ came not to destroy the righteousness of the law but to fulfill it in us by imbuing us with the spirit of God, thereby making our carnal state excusable by the spirit of Christ and his husbandly headship.)

Romans 7:25-8:1-9 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life (7:10) in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. (7:14) For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

…henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.(2Corinthians 5:15-17)

The Law of God is spiritual, We are carnal / flesh:

To be spiritual is to delight in the Law of God

and

walk not after the flesh.

To be carnal / flesh is to sin

and

sin is known by the Law-

The marriage relationship Paul is teaching is ascertained by drawing purely from the words Paul used and those explanatory verses of “new testament” which are harmonious in sentiment. Please use your bible, look into this explanation, rather than taking my word or a preconception as truth.

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God 8:14-17

Illustrated so greatly by our brother Paul, “the law of husband” is addressed to those who know the law, this analogy tying together all the above laws mentioned from the Pentateuch, most especially that of Deuteronomy 25:2-5, and seen in case practice from the book of Ruth.

Our baptism like marriage so done in Christ’s likeness 6:5, and his image 8:29, resembles the beginning marriage relationship in Genesis 1:26, 2:7-24, 1 Cor 11:7 and as thus one body (John 17). In baptism we put on Christ as does the wife put on the man, to bear his name and glory; Now in this law of Adoption (biblical adoption only being through kinsmen) the woman has put on her first husband’s name who is now dead, yet his brother of the same name as the kinsman will take on his fallen brother’s wife.

Just as the commandments are old (old covenant) this is the first husband; yet the desire of God is for us to be renewed (New covenant) in the blood of his son.

Who was the first husband?

Ultimately the first husband was and is the Word made flesh, the Son of God come in the likeness of sinful flesh, the body of Christ as Paul speaks here. This perfect yet carnal Israelite man, was the embodiment of the covenant God made with Israel, the representation of Adam’s rib (bone and flesh) being made into his wife: Jesu(s), the literal son of God, the bone and flesh of those under the law (Gal 4:4-5) redeeming those under the law. For the Word was made flesh, he came unto his own in the flesh, who are Israelite according to the flesh (John 1:1-14, Rom 1:3, 9:3), and thus his bride / wife (Jer 2:32, John 3:29) was in the flesh as well; But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Being then betrothed in the flesh and under the law unto Christ and thus his Word made flesh, by covenant we in the flesh must die with the first husband, the body of Christ, in baptismal marriage, to rise anew with him in baptismal resurrection physically in the flesh (Rom 6:3-4) yet receiving the earnest of the spirit in our spirit towards our true resurrection in the day of judgment.

Who is the Another husband (new man Eph 4) ?

The risen Christ is the “Another husband”, and thus as the Law in Deuteronomy 25:2-5 teaches, that we are to bring forth fruit in the name of the first dead husband (Rom 7:4 & Duet 25:6), for we and our fruit have received adoption (Rom 8:15,23; 9:4; Gal 4:5; Eph 1:5) by the resurrected Christ our kinsman redeemer, the first fruit (Rom 8:23-29) from the dead. (1 Cor 15:20,23; Jas 1:18) In the flesh we are betrothed to the house hold of God through his only begotten son that we may yet raise up and bring forth fruit unto the house of our husband’s Father-YHWH.

Why fruit and first fruits ? (Rom 8:23-29)

The day after the Sabbath of unleavened bread (16th day of the 1st heavenly month), is the day our Lord rose from the dead, (Ex 12:18, Lev 23:5/ Mark 16:2, Luke 24:1) and is called the day of first fruits.

According to the law a sheaf of grain was to be raised before YHWH by the priest on that day (Ex 34:22, Lev 23:10-20). This signifies the teachings of Christ as taught in his wheat parables (Matt 13), which no doubt corresponds with John 12:24-26 teaching of how wheat “dies” when it is planted (Rom 6:5) that it may grow in it’s resurrection to bring forth much fruit!

Is that which is planted different from that which grows?

Only in the stalk and chaff, for when that grain is planted all of its chaff (flesh) is stript away in death so that in the fulness of time that grain will raise up and bring forth much grain likened unto that which was planted. This fact in like manner answers to the analogy of marriage above shown Christ, the Word, who came in the likeness of sinful flesh as the first husband and died, But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept-1 Cor 15:20, so that he in his before glory as God’s Word may be married to she that was buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life…in the likeness of his resurrection. (Romans 6:4) yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. old things are passed away; all things are new.

THE

NEW COVENANT/NEW TESTAMENT

For this is my blood of the new testament,

which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

(Matthew 26:28; Mark 14:24; Luke 22:20)

How much more shall the blood of Christ,

who through the eternal Spirit offered himself

without spot to God, purge your conscience

from dead works to serve the living God?

And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death,

for the redemption of the transgressions

that were under the first testament,

they which are called might receive the promise

of eternal inheritance.

(Hebrews 9:14-15)

Diathēkē is the Greek word for testament and covenant, they are the same in the bible and of no difference, so by speaking of the New testament we are speaking of the New Covenant. As a Christian I hope that you know what the biblical New Covenant or New Testament is as it was ordained in your savior’s blood.

The New Covenant not only wills forgiveness of unrighteousness, sins and iniquities, but it unquestionably confirms God’s desire for His people to have His Law in their mind (inward parts) and heart which is the dwelling place of the spirit.

As easily seen by Heb 8:1-2, the fault of the first covenant is in our flesh, and it’s failure is yet in us, yet under the New Covenant our faulted flesh is amended by Christ and his spirit, the Law is still ordained to life, but the decay, vanishing away, passing away and abolition is that of the enmity between us and God.

The fault of our out ward man who is flesh, is the transgression of the law: unrighteousness, sins and iniquities are the repercussions of that transgressing, Christ was therefore sent to remit and forgive transgressions of the law, this is not only forgiveness of the sins of past actions but a working remission of sin that is able to justify / make righteous the Christian by his faith at present, while still striving to showing his faith by works before ordained, in the law, that he should walk in them (Eph 2:10).

According to Matthew 26:28; Mark 14:24; Luke 22:20, as well as ample amounts of scripture beside those, Christ, the Word made flesh’s purpose was to establish the New Testament / Covenant in his blood, this is no doubt the greatest truth of scripture to be understood by those seeking to be Christ’s disciples.

Hebrews 8:7-13 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. (Rom 8:3 the law…was weak through the flesh / them) For finding fault with them, he saith, “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah… because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the LORD. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the LORD; I will put my LAWS into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their SINS and their iniquities will I remember no more.” In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. (Jer 31:31-37)

Notice the place where Hebrews 10 quotes Psalm 40: “He taketh away the first (covenant), that hat he may establish the second covenant” , it is exactly where Psalm 40 says “yea, thy law is within my heart”.

… I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. (Hebrews 10:9)

I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

(Psalms 40:7-8)

(2 Corinthians 3 & 4) Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament (covenant); which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the God of this world (This is a reference to the only God of this world, YHWH- Rom 11:25; Eph 4:18), hath blinded the minds of them which believe not (John 3:18-21), lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them…

The difference in covenants are as follows:

Old first Covenant

New second Covenant

Faulted by weak flesh

Sufficiency is of God

God’s Law written in stone /

the letter

God’s Law written on the heart / the spirit

Killeth

Giveth life

Glorious Ministration of death

Excelled Glorious ministration of spirit

Glorious ministration of condemnation

Excelled Glorious ministration of righteousness

Glory of the Law is Vailed / hidden with out Christ

Glory of the Law is unVailed / seen in Christ

The laws spoken of in Jeremiah 31 and Hebrews 8 are the same laws of God and of Moses, known very plainly in scripture as such. The function of Christ to put the laws of God in his people’s mind (inward parts) and heart, as well as to forgive sin this is the difference between the above aspects of the Covenants.

Consider how these are the two categories by which the above aspects of the old and new covenant are divided:

Old first Covenant

New second Covenant

sin is transgression of the law”

he was manifested to take away our sin”

The law is not the part of the Covenant that decayeth and waxeth old and is ready to vanish away, it is very clear that the law is to be written in the heart (inward parts) and mind, it is the sin which is abolished.

All of the effects of the OLD covenant in the OLD out ward man are linked to sin: flesh, stone (heart), letter, killeth, death, condemnation, vailed, hidden, blinded.

All of the effects of the reNEWed inward man under the NEW covenant are linked to the law in the heart and forgiveness: sufficiency of God, heart, spirit, life, spirit, righteousness, unvailed, seen, shine.

II.B.2

Notice the correlation between the a fore scriptures and Zech 7

Thus speaketh YHWH of hosts, saying,

(New Covenant man)

Execute true judgment,

and

shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:

And

oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless,

the stranger, nor the poor;

and let none of you imagine evil against his brother

in your heart.

(Old Covenant man)

But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder,

and

stopped their ears, that they should not hear.

Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone,

lest they should hear the law, and the words

which YHWH of hosts hath sent in his spirit

by the former prophets:

therefore came a great wrath from YHWH of hosts.

(Zechariah 7:9-12)

The old and new testaments are not time lines in place to designate B.C. and A.D. Ages, they are Spiritual heart conditions, both still being present. Christ’s blood was shed for the remission of Sin, and was recognized as an eminent promise by pre-Christian disciples of Christ.

The Gospel preached in the old Testament / Covenant age is not hidden when the heart is turned to Christ and the law is put within it, and we start to love the LORD our God with all our heart, and with all our soul, and with all our strength, and with all our mind; and our neighbour as our self. This “Christ”ian model has been the desire of God towards his Word since the beginning, the law written on the inward parts by love is the separation line of Sons of God and the world.

II.B.3

Having re-NEW-ed Covenant faith

in the “Old Covenant” age.

The desire of God towards his people have from the beginning been that all the holy men of old, would Covenant with him according to Faith which hung by Love, no mater if the Covenant was in the Garden of Eden, in YHWH’s Temple or at Christ’s Passover (last supper).

Abram’s Covenant will be discussed in depth in the next few sections, yet consider this:

Gen 15:1 …the word (Christ- John 1:1) of YHWH came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

The Word of YHWH in the flesh is the coming son of Adam / Man, Christ, the seed of Abraham that was Abram’s great reward which separated him from his former world.

Consider Moses, Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. (Heb 11:23-29)

Accordingly Moses esteemed Christ Jesu(s) the Son of God,and Word made flesh as the great reward Abram was given. This Reward which is offered in Christ, is still the Word of God, and is also considered a reproach to men who will not hear God’s Law.

In the case of Moses, he left Egypt in order to deliver YHWH God’s Word to his people, to establish or codify the Law unto the people in National covenant on Mt. Horeb in Sinai, this all being part of the reproach of Christ and the great reward. Moses undoubtedly had part in Christ’s very teaching on the mater: I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.John 17:14

Moses being a man who taught that God’s Law, as contained in the Pentateuch was the law desired to be written on the heart, as he said by God’s inspiration: And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. (Deut 6:6-7, 11:18, 32:46)

God’s law as spoken to Moses is the law to be written on the heart under Christ’s New Covenant, God has not changed his standards.

Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. (Luke 6:22-23)

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished. Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings. For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation. (Isaiah 51:6-8)

In ending section II of this compilation it is of necessity that I am not mistaken, as this is a very key factor, a fundamental principal I am indeed promoting. That is the very idea that true Christians are to walk as their savior walked to the best of their fleshly ability after GOD’s spiritual law under the New Covenant in Christ; in allowing YHWH God to write HIS Law in the heart and mind by love: Allowing the law of God as given to Moses as a paradigm by which Christians should live, using the Pentateuch as the defining Word on Good and evil, Just and unjust, Holy and unholy, clean and unclean, Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

(Leviticus 11:44, 19:2 20:7,26; 1 Peter 1:15,16).

This Compilation has been ordered as to lead you down a path of harmony in scripture, where boldly faith may be had in the whole of God’s Word as a light for the path.

…For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

(2Corinthians 4)

For I delight in the law of God after the inward man

(Rom 7:22)
