A COMMON LAW FOR A COMMON-WEALTH

Honour thy father and thy mother:

that thy days may be long upon the land

which the LORD YHWH thy God giveth thee.

Exodus 20:12

Honour thy father and thy mother,

as the LORD YHWH thy God hath commanded thee;

that thy days may be prolonged,

and that it may go well with thee,

in the land which the LORD YHWH thy God giveth thee.

Deuteronomy 5:16

The word Honor should hereafter in this contemplation be understood for it’s Hebrew and Greek understanding of “heaviness”, that is “weightiness” Just as it pertains to precious metal, thus the Idea of Honor or Esteem is the Idea of literal value or worth. The Commandment is forwarding the Child of Israel to Value his Father and Mother as wealth.

The subject of the 5th Commandment is likened unto all the commandments focused upon thus far, it is a key sentiment to summarize the whole of the subject, thus by neglect of the Honor due parents and parentage the Law of God is as well devalued.

Just as the prior sentiment conveyed in the 4th Commandment regarding the Sabbath day beside the 6 days of work, the whole focus of the whole of the Common-wealth’s practice of Time keeping is observed, so in this way the 5th Commandment regarding the Honor of ones parents will bring into focus the Nation’s Origins, from one’s father and mother throughout the genealogical make up of one’s Ethnic or National people, even to one’s own Kindred Race derived from their first father and mother.

In our modern day this Commandment of Almighty God has lost it’s value; The evidence of that loss is seen in the countries or lands which our Nation once occupied, lands which our European ancestors once held by Right of Blood, Sweat, and Tears shed for it as proof of their God given claim. When considering the Right of land ownership by Ethnic descent from a Biblical Reality, it must be acknowledged that all lands settled by any people of any race or species of creature is taken and held by blood, sweat and tears, Nature does witness to this fact, and the biblical testimony to the Children of Israel is no different.

Even the founders of the united states of America spoke in a form of dualism to this point, dualism is said because all of the many references to the duty of the progeny of the children of the revolution stands as a warning and admonition no matter what side of the constitution one is on such as the words of Thomas Jefferson who made the truistic statement that ” The tree of liberty must be renewed time an again by the blood of patriots and tyrants…”; a patriot by exact definition of it’s Latin: patria, one’s father’s country, form pater which is father in Latin, this is Biblical Patriotism, Patriarchal Patriotism, the honor of one’s father and mother is the foundation of the National family unit with in a geographical border or boundary of Land or Lands, the family is lead by the God given headship of the Man who is the Father as seen in Gen_1:26-28, Gen_2:21-25, every law which shall be covered hereafter on Government order, Num_30:1-16. The paternal order is the God ordained order of Family Government, even in reference Parents we testifies to the pair which brings forth offspring, a word which is devalued by any definition beyond the natural fact it carries, that of the Patriarchal quality of the parentage of a family, tribe, Nation and Race of Biblical Origin.

Furthermore, when speaking of a Nation and Country the two are often times confused as one and the same, yet they refer to two adjoined but different aspects of the collective common-wealth, both aspects are channeled into the 5th Commandment: The Nation which is the aspect of common-origin and The Country is the aspect of a common home land. Thus when we speak of a country we speak of land mass and borders not the nation of a common origin. The 5th Commandment covers both in it’s primary sentiment of the Nation from ones individual parents to ones parentage, and also the giving of blessings of Honor towards ones parentage as the prolonged dwelling in the land given to that Nation.

Yet the reward of honoring and fearing ones father and mother is called Inheritance, in the Hebrew the word is Y’RaSH and M’URaSH as far as the idea of possession of inherited traits, which is more or less the idea of Rights, legal Rights inherited from father to son as citizens, members of the common-wealth.

Consider:

Deu 33:4 Moses commanded us a law, even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob.

While the Land inheritance is generally represented by the word NHeLEh.

Num_33:53 And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.

Num 33:54 And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man’s inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.

Num 33:55 But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.

Thus, Both Land inheritance and Covenantal Inheritance are inherent in the Paternal Honor .

By ignorant or willful disregard of this Commandment both the Nation and the Land will be lost, the two are invariably linked to the unity of every individual family doing so together as to form a Common-wealth.

With all this in mind consider the Greek LXX of Leviticus 19:3, “Let each one his father and his mother fear” the word fear is translated from a word rooted ina commonly understood word in our English speech, Phobia; in our insane and unGodly age in which we live the doctors of the so called psyche would call this a parentaphobia, the idea of being afraid of ones parents, yet this very heart and mind set should be a soul disposition of fear towards ones parents as a Godly fear. Every child of Godly parents should be afraid of the displeasure his parents will have in them, and thus be a feared that they them selves will dishonor their parents before the face of God almighty. A fear which I wish to punctuate by the end of this compilation.

Infractions upon the Honor

of the 5th Commandment

The first infraction: Physical Abuse

Exo_21:15 And he that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death.

This law prohibiting without exception the physical harm done to ones parents, as a capitol offence, a law which is not meant to be symbolic, and due to it’s simplistic nature it encompassed all forms of physical abuse done to ones parentage: grandparents, elders and those of the physical family in authority by mear age:

Lev_19:32 Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honor the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD.

This portion of Common Law helps us ascertain the scope of Honor as reaching further than one first father or mother, but unto his grandparents and beyond. It establishes also the Honor that should be had for any gray haired old man as a honorable member of a biblical patriarchal society, when indeed he is such, as one who should never be abused. The Idea of rising up is that which is accredited to kings and rulers, one we are still un-accustomed to understand in the West but perhaps not practice, the rising also carries with it the implication of support or establish, that is help an old man, and also establish the ruling elder as well, it is the onus of the young men to be the strong arm of the wise old man and to keep him in power, for all the young become old.

The next infraction

Exo 21:17 And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death.

Before losing the thoughts of the Law and it’s greater focus just mentioned in the last infraction on Lev_19:32, consider not only one’s first Father and Mother but that of family rulers of Elders which helps support the God given authority by squarely seating it upon the 5th Commandment:

As mentioned prior in part 1 of this series on the 1st and 2nd commandment, the judges of Israel and of the Church / Ekklasia are to be comprised of literal Elders or Old men of literal Families as shown in Exo_18:25-26 Exo_18:25-26, Deu_1:9-18, Num_1:1-54, Num_11:14-25.

Exo_22:28 Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people., is by the law of Exo_21:17, we may see the correlation to this law as being integral one to the other. As mentioned concerning the 1st and 2nd Commandment of God’s Common Law: the word “god” in this text references YHWH GOD given authority to the Elder judges and rulers of THY PEOPLE, by rule of God’s Law. It should not be missed that in the KJV the word translated ‘revile’ of Exo_22:28 and ‘curse’ of Exo_21:17 are the same Hebrew,, both are ‘QuLL’ a word which signifies the opposite of the honor or value of the Commandment, as well this stands true in the Greek LXX text pertaining to the word Curse from Kako-Logon – G2551 ̄

From a compound of:

G2556 -Kako: bad, evil, wicked

and

G3056– Logos: words

literally “speak evil of”

.

The value or Honor intrinsically placed by Nature and natures God, YHWH upon the family order are preserved by these Common Laws which has as it’s preservation the the security of dwelling in the Land of inhabitants by the Blessing inherent to law’s defined particular precepts, statutes, as well as Judgments against this sin.

The support of the families leaning one upon the other will create a Nation, a standing Nation will create a protected Country border, a Land blessed by the prolonged days of the inhabitants who dwell upon it in family order keeping a common Calendar:

Ye shall be holy:

for I YHWH your God am holy.

Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father,

and keep my sabbaths:

I am YHWH your God.

Lev_19:2-3

The calendar Sabbath of the LORD God of the Commonwealth, ordains and offers times of commanded family worship: Weekly, Monthly, Tri-yearly, and yearly worship times on which the Parents of Godly homes are listened to according the holy scriptures, the children are instructed by their elder fathers and mothers to establish this law in a symbiotic maintenance: the sabbath and all commanded festivals of scripture are family, kindred tribal maintenance tools; beyond it contains the Ordained time of National, Tribal and Family appointment of Elders to the position of judges and officers among the people, thus linking the Calendric system devised by Almighty YHWH as the time established for the commonwealth’s electoral conventions:

Deu_16:16-20 Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God … in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: …Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment.

…That which is altogether just shalt thou follow, that thou mayest live, and inherit the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

The Christ and the 5th Commandment

The most simple sin specified in the scripture concerning the 5th Commandment our Lord Christ forwards as a rebuke to the ruling Officers called Scribes in His day. As in the modern day these men in civic authority thought God’s Law was not Spiritually important enough to keep the letter of the law, thus they imposed by symantical interpretation another understanding of the Commandment’s and it’s precepts, a situation concerning the 5th Commandment which undoubtedly caused the eventual removal of the remnant of Judah from Judea.

Consider:

Mat_15:4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

Mat 15:5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; And honour not his father or his mother, Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

Mat 15:7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

Mat 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

Mat 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Exo_21:17;

Lev_20:9 …his blood shall be upon him.

The poetic semantics are not easily seen by the English reader: the Idea of the value of a monetary gift on Parents seemingly payed to the Temple treasury was in replacement for true value of Honor found in life actions and words towards one’s parents, thus this unlawful tradition which is a semantical approach to the literal commandment makes the Realistic Commandment which is Truly Spiritual given by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit of God void. It becomes void by cutting off the judgment from the commandment to replace it with a man made interpretation by the pseudo-letter. In this lesson Christ condemns the idea of replacing the actual Commandment of Law, to the end that is will void God’s Common Law; In modern terms, the governing State has assumed the right to redefine the value of parents to nothing more than a fine, a gift to blind the eyes and pervert the justice of God’s Law by use of the Temple’s State power over the judicial Elders, thus circularly destroying it’s self.

We in our modern societies of European descent find our selves in a worse position than even the Judean’s of the time of Christ, as the cursing of our progenitors has no back lash at all, not even a fine; yet the power base which has replaced the functional honor of the father and mother may easily be comprehended when one finds the idol in society that is unable to be cursed, as simple way evaluate a sociological position.

What is Cursing one’s Father or Mother?

As serious as a sin crime as is mentioned above according the Common Law of God , a word must be given upon understanding the nature of this infraction.

The word Curse above is Kako-logos as describes above. Kako is the general word for ‘bad things’, yet the understanding of ‘Curse’ is in focus.

While the simple understanding of bad or evil speech about one’s parents is simple enough to understand, they are words that cause ones parent to be afflicted by their bad words, either to them or others if the word returns to their ears. As well the simplicity of the Paternal nature of the family must be encapsulated in this sentiment as they are words that a child may use to afflict ones Parents, thus reversing the role by some form of negative control to in-place the words of Isaiah’s curse:

Isa_3:4 And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.

Isa 3:5 And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.

Yet this Curse must be understood in a strict biblical standpoint which must not be reversed as to allow an ignorant, selfish or wicked parent to silence the child who speaks the gospel which will naturally oppose any sinner in cluding sinful parents.

We have ample Scripture to show that the confession of Christ in our life will create variance even with ones own parents and family, by recourse, the denial of the life of Christ in us to disuad the varance between the Christian and his natural family is in fact a denial of Christ:

Mat_10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

Mat 10:36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

Mat 10:37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Mat 10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

Mat 10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

Mat 10:40 He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

Christ’s admonition is from Mic_7:6, which is in-turn is a admonition from the Law of Deu_13:6-10, this Christ based or anointed based life is seen in Gideon in Jdg_6:1-32, when the confession of Gideon’s anointing caused him to hew down his father’s baal grove and throw over baal’s alter to set an example, yet Gideon did not speak evil of his parentage, yet his actions and words could be skued by a wicked father to be a form of rebellion. As well a good example may be had in the life of Johnathan son of King Saul, as he was under his wicked father who was pursuing innocent David, Johnathan did not curse his father but did as David did entreat and hinder his godless actions to the benefit of righteousness.

The speech of cursing or speaking affliction on one’s parents is a sin crime which may not be committed no matter if the parents be actually wicked in their life’s actions, it ought not be done ever by one confessing YHWH’s name; no provisions or acceptance is granted for Cursing one’s parents even when one’s Father or Mother is wicked in the most vile way, rather we are to entreat or implore 1Ti_5:1 but never to speak evil words upon or to them, to afflict their person, yet it is important to remember that sin is always sin, and Christian’s are commanded to reprove such.

In our unfortunate day and age this seems to be hard on account of the treatment many children go through at the hand of ignorant, selfish, and ungodly parents, which often cause children to go astray. Yet consider, children in the time of the 40 years of wilderness wondering, when the parents sin caused the children to wander as a punishment was no different, even these Israelite’s forgot the sign of circumcision, the sign of Abraham’s Covenant, which was a selection among the son’s of Adam to give the dominion Mandate as stated in Gen_1:26-28.

Children Obey your parents…

From the Creation of Adam into the time of the patriarch’s then in the time of the Canaanite dispossession, as well seen in the Ethnic segregation of Ezra and Nehemiah’s, the ultimate goal of having Children is to give them an inheritance, in the case of the Covenants made with one’s Ethnic people or ones Racial mandate: to honor Father and Mother is a matter of genetic inheritance of Covenant and Land in a biblical society: among European Christians, this should be one and the same.

As seen in the Law of God through out: Adultery, fornication, and whoredom are ultimate devaluations or dishonor to ones parents and parentage, by allowance of an illegitimate offspring to grow in violation of the Law of God will destroy the Covenant upon which the Law is founded thereby dissolving the bond of all. It is worth consideration at this point that in the list of adulterous fornications of which the prior mentioned infraction of Lev_20:9 was mentioned among is ended by the antithetical statement in

Lev 20:21-22… they shall be childless. Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out.

All forms of adulteration are literally a curse and a strike against ones parentage, a dishonor that will cause the Land to spew us out as opposed to prolong our days.

As it pertains to wise, generationally minded, Godly parents the Apostle Paul admonishes the children of these Christian families by the words he spoke to the Ephesian church, who mind you, did not live in the land of Judea or within the borders of old Israel but within Ephesus, a city of Asia Minor where the diaspora of Israel had settled in their Gentile-pagan state as Ephesians, he had admonished them thus:

Eph_6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

Eph 6:2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)

Eph 6:3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

Eph 6:4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Consider an other Genesis example is given of a specific mention of an Honor toward parents in this paraphrase of Gen_27:46 – Gen_28:1-9

Gen 27:46 And Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life (Eve) because of the daughters of Heth: if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these which are of the daughters of the land, what good shall my life do me?

Gen 28:3 And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people;

Gen 28:4 And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, …Isaac had blessed Jacob, and sent him away to Padanaram, to take him a wife from thence; and that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan;

Gen_28:7 And that Jacob obeyed his father and his mother, and was gone to Padanaram…

By continued reading the subject is substantiated in the actions of Esau who is called a fornicator for the strange wives he had taken against His parents honor in Heb_12:16, who by this action and other actions forfeit his birth-right, the inheritance from Adam to Isaac at that time, an inheritance which was to be the Christ’s.

Thus the act of not marrying into the forbidden linage of Canaan as per the dictates of YHWH God known by the Patriarchs, and seen in Israel’s laws trough out the Scripture was one of the first places where we may safely see the Obedience or Honor of one parents to the purpose of prolonged days upon the land in the sentiment of Ethnic purity, contained in the literal listening to ones parents on the matters of procreation, an action which of course replicates the Command it self.

The admonition in Gen 28:7 … Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan; And that Jacob obeyed his father and his mother… is one which is as elementary cursing or striking ones mother and father who raised them from womb to adulthood, yet this infraction curses and strikes the at the root of ones ancestry, and obliterates the covenant by the adulteration of distinct Ethnic and racial groups which nature and natures God has deemed to be separate since creations time. The people of Canaan were the people who were being destroyed and spewed out of the ‘land of Canaan’ to be inhabited by God’s Chosen people Israel, who’s divided home inheritance was Aram and Haran in what we call Syria, the the place of Abraham’s father’s people. Yet the scripture tells us that the Gen_15:16 the iniquity of the Amorites became full at the time of Israel’s dispossession of Canaan’s land, iniquity that we may plainly in the Laws of Lev_20:1

In Biblical times the ultimate disregard of ones parents and parentage was one who has disgraced his father’s name and inheritance beyond forgiveness as see in the above portions of Genesis. By evident context the same holds true in the following grim and terrible fate that was possible for a stubborn and rebellious child, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them:

The Perfect Law of God Continues:

Deu_21:19 Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;

Deu 21:20 And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard.

Deu 21:21 And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.

It was the last check in the balance of National order for Children to Obey their parents in the Lord: If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them: Deu_21:18

In the KJV text the word “glutton” may help to confuse the context in uniting it with the prior obedience of Jacob verses Esau the fornicator. In other translations prior to the KJV the Hebrew word ZaLL ^H2151 was translated rioter, yet in the LXX the type of glutny and riotousness is more described, the APB translations has it as: Our son, this one resists persuasion, and he aggravates, not obeying our voice; he is fond of carousing drunk with wine. ^{sumboloaopon wich literally means “sum+bolo” to union by thrusting (G4862 +} G906) the word συμβολη seen as well translated coupling in many translations of the LXX

“coupling” through out Exo in the building of the temple in reference to action which sum-boleh describes.

In showing this point of dis-honor and dis-obedience to ones parents I wish to end off with the voice of Solomon, a man who according to our Biblical testimony had indeed a struggle with this very grave sin, his testimony as well helps to describe in other words the Hebrew word ZaLL as see in the prior Law of God:

Pro_23:19 Hear thou, my son, and be wise, and guide thine heart in the way.

Pro 23:20 Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters (ZaLL–^H2151) of flesh:

Pro 23:21 For the drunkard and the glutton (ZaLL–^H2151) shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags.

Pro 23:22 Hearken unto thy father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when she is old.

Pro 23:23 Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.

Pro 23:24 The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.

Pro 23:25 Thy father and thy mother shall be glad, and she that bare thee shall rejoice.

Pro 23:26 My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.

Pro 23:27 For a whore is a deep ditch; and a strange woman is a narrow pit.

Pro 23:28 She also lieth in wait as for a prey, and increaseth the transgressors among men.
