The Rule of LAW or the Law of Rule?
Exo_20:12
Honor (value) thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which YHWH thy God giveth thee.
Lev_19:32
Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head,
and honor the face of the old man/ Presbyter (πρεσβυτερων),
and fear thy God: I am YHWH.
(G4245 Presbyter: (elderly); older, old one)
A little recap:
Politically speaking the Kingdom of Priests and a Holy Nation is properly called in Scripture the Kingdom of God with YHWH as King and Common-Wealth of An Ethnic people called Israel. Most people in modern language would say this describes a theocratic republic, and as a republic is distinct from democracy. Democracies are ruled by the demos/ the synagogue the general public whose majority makes law and elects it’s leaders; a Republic by its legal definition has a constituted law that Rules above all, and that Law describes the requirements of the Heads of the people as a representatives and how that Head is selected and what his functions are.
The Kingdom of YHWH God Represented on this Earth does not operate upon the will of the synagogue or Demos, or upon the will of the Representative Elders, Heads or Judges either. Because the Word of God is Law and always has Ruled; And The manifestation of the Word made flesh in the person of the Son of Man who is Jesus Christ, makes this high view of God’s Law as ultimate King is settled, so much so that God proves His every word of Patrimony by Calling his Genetically Spiritual Son the Heir of all things and Head of all Principalities and powers.
Therefore, when we see this system given and endorsed by the Word of God in Moses Law as the Common Law the theonomy is a Kingdom which establishes citizenship by His terms, terms which bind the Common public to the obedient Ecclesia, and the obedient Ecclesia to the obedient Presbyterian Heads of the Ecclesia to the Episcopal Headship Ordained by God’s Law which establishes Judiciary power with Ethnic jurisdiction over Ethnically inherited boarders for the Common wealth of the people in fact..
This is the Rule of Law this is Lex Rex and Rex Lex reconciled in Jesus ascended to the right hand of the Father, that is the question of who has absolute authority in the world of men has been resolved or reconciled properly by the work of Jesus Christ the son of God and the son of man-He is the king and his Word is Law, and this is how his word speaks through the Law of Moses his servant.
And so I want to make this clear in this study:
In the case of what we have seen in this Government we have seen that God’s Election comes by his call of faith of all who are His and this group is the Church /the Greek Ecclesia and the Ecclesia specifically refers to those who hear the Call of God and no one else.
Why is this important?
Because, within the selection of the men who are to Head the Ethnic people, these people must, must, must profess and be known to have Faith and to swear they have Faith in the God of the Bible and in the Bible, especially the Law of Moses as God’s Word
Of the Church the Elect the males are separated and of the males the men 20yrs old and able to go forth to war are separated, and of the that Election the Presbytery is separated, and of the Presbytery (old men) the Episcopes are selected over unites of men to Judge and Lead unites of 10, 50, 100, 1000 of his particular family and who will be within his physical, geographical jurisdiction of Headship and Judgment.
He has 2 administrative and executive responsibilities of his office as he is bound by his ‘Oath of office’ which as holy writ he must be charged with wherein he agreed to in obtaining his office as Head Judge and Overseer of:
Judgment and 2. Warfare
Today will focus on his responsibility in Judgment.
The Presbyterian Episcopate seen in Numbers had been concluded after 1 year from what was said in Exodus 18 and relayed Duet 1: that the people take able men from among Israel’s faithful and obedient Elders, and heads of families such as fear God, men of truth who hate covetousness to judge the people at all seasons to rule the congregation, to lead the people, and to number the people of the tribe, kindred and family.
These judges were made heads of 10, 50, 100and 1000’s and there was a final head over the whole tribe called the ‘Prince of the house of his father’ shown in Numbers 1.
This estimation given last week seems to indicate local Judges who are Heads of the Numbering of the people in their respective unite of 10, 50, 100, 1000, 1000’s within those unites of nothing less than ethnic families of a Nation which will in the revelation of God be reckoned also by locality / location as the unite they are Head of by their Judicial and Over-sight ordination.
This situation becomes an obvious in the settling of the land into an inheritance as this study progresses, we will tie this aspect of Tribal inheritance into the fabric of Ethnic / National society. That is that the Head of 10 at the smallest unite will be locally ‘ known’ by the 9 men he is the Number-er of including himself, that is the 9 men he is Overseer or Episcope of will in the future of the Israelite common-wealth with its father-land , a country which is united but divided into Ethnic 12 tribes will comply to the laws of patrimony in relationship to land inheritance, where in the Ethnic, genetic families will conquer and divide land according to the rule of Paternal inheritance (inheritance by ones father), thereby unifying the Nation and Country.
This Man I have called by the Greek term Episcope rather than Bishop.
In this assessment the Captain of 10, the Dekad Archous is the first authority above the 9 fathers of 20 years old and upward (The Men who fell under the captains of 10, which the LXX calls the dekad-archos / δεκαδαρχους were numbered by Him as was the Pentekota-archous / πεντηκονταρχους G4004.6, and the hekatont- archous / εκατονταρχουςG1543 and the Chili-Archous / χιλιαρχουςG5506 . )able to go forth to war.
Num_1:2 Take the sum of all the congregation of Israel according to their kindred’s, according to the houses of their fathers’ families, according to their number by their names, according to their heads: every male
Num 1:3 from twenty years old and upwards, every one that goes forth in the forces of Israel, take account of them with their strength; thou and Aaron take account of them.
Num_1:4 And with you there shall be each one of the rulers according to the tribe of each: they shall be according to the houses of their families.
At this point in a further discussion of the power structure
“thou and Aaron take account of them. And with you there shall be each one of the rulers according to the tribe of each: they shall be according to the houses of their families. ”
The Overseers were first over seen by Moses and Aaron to take the Lead as form of federal Judiciary, This is that Moses and Aaron are in fact recognized as Bishops or Episcopes beside the Renown among the Congregation, the Princes and Heads of 1000’s.
We could say, this is that one who is committed to the rule of God’s Torah Law (Moses) and the priests or ministers of it (law enforcers), these preach repentance to establish the Law as the highest authority over all else.
These highest Archons and Number-ers are ‘With’ Moses and Aaron in the Numbering of the People, this is showing a close relationship the Tribal Head is to have with the Sanctuary as the term represents the Rule of Law and the Administration of Law in Ministry the Princes answer to Moses, the Law, and work with the Levites who are to be Ministers or servants in teaching the Law. Remember the Prophecy of Moses concerning Levi in
Deu 33:10-11, says Levi shall teach Jacob thy judgments, and Israel thy law…
This was the aim of the Godly-faithful Levite blessed with his patrimony, to teach Judgments and teach the Law, before all else this tribe who is given no land inheritance as a tribe, but is dependent on the other tribes their brothers for provision, has as his inheritance this blessing, Calling not to be taken lightly and a blessing never to be abused for the sake of power, and a calling never to be relinquished for the will of man including ones own judgment apart from the Written Law and Judgments of God.
How do we know that the Written Law of God by its spiritual authority is higher than Moses, as a man of flesh, and higher than Aaron as the high priest? How do we know it is the Spiritual Written Law that Moses as law giver and Aaron as minister of Moses, and spokes person of the law are not the sole authority of the law?
Now remember your home work:
Before and after the 10 commandments 3 chapters of Case law were given to the Elders from Exodus 21-23, these laws serves as the judicial reasoning to be administer in the Hebrew Families of the people of Israel, they were servitude law, laws of jurisdiction, and the way in which justice could be judged in the natural life of a civilized agricultural people, some laws are in need of further revelation such as what we find concerning the cities of refuge, the place a man can flee to when he knowingly killed a man unwittingly, we also saw a strong admonition towards the Judges and rulers, who are revered as the sons of God among the people as those who are the house lawyers of the families they are head of, knowing they are administering the judgment that is Gods (their highest aim in judgment), laws on the altar and house of YHWH which was not revealed in the tabernacle system yet, laws that established the festivals of Israel alone by God’s regulative principle of worship: Abib’s unleavened bread and Passovers celebration, Pentecost or the feast of harvest and 7 weeks in observation of the wheat harvest, and the feast of tabernacles or ingathering of the crops of that year in thanks giving of increase and provision according to YHWH’s agricultural and heavenly light based calendar, Just laws of restitution and the absolute condemnation of any law that oppress the people as an ethnic people between brothers, but only laws that even in failure by sin will restitute the Nation and tribes as a whole and keep YHWH the center piece of worship by his lordship,
as well as the promise of the Angelic messenger of God that was to Come, and the war to be waged on the ethnic people of Canaan to the end they be not made to sin by the idolatry of Canaan .
The story of Aaron
Exo_24:13 And Moses rose up, and his minister Joshua: and Moses went up into the mount of God.
Exo 24:14 And he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: if any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them.
Exo 24:15 And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount.
(Going to Ex 32 in our chronological reading, before going back to the structure of power let us see another ensample which will demonstrate this point:
Of Aaron the mouth piece of Moses and high priest ordained to serve and administer the Law and the Law only we have this example:
Exo_32:1 And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
Exo 32:2 And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.
Exo 32:3 And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.
Exo 32:4 And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
Exo 32:5 And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the LORD.
Exo 32:6 And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.
Exo 32:7 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:
Exo 32:8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
Exo 32:9 And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:
Exo 32:10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.
Exo 32:11 And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?
Exo 32:12 Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people.
Exo 32:13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.
Exo 32:14 And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.
Exo 32:15 And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written.
Exo 32:16 And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables.
Exo 32:17 And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp.
Exo 32:18 And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear.
Exo 32:19 And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses’ anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.
Exo 32:20 And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.
Exo 32:21 And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them?
Exo 32:22 And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they are set on mischief.
Exo 32:23 For they said unto me, Make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
Exo 32:24 And I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.
And so in application to our question, what do we see?
While Moses was on the mount Aaron was conferred authority, remember?
Exo 24:14 And Moses said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: if any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them.
Aaron was in Moses stead, as we heard Moses own words,
Exo_18:15 … the people come unto me to enquire of God:
Exo 18:16 When they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws.
And so this was the “matters to do” in Exo_24:14, which Aaron has trouble with.
Yet, even after this we see Aaron’s forgiveness, we see him appointed in the numbering of the people according to Num_1:1-2:
While the ordination and appointment of Elders and Overseers is to be Overseen by the Levite who aids in the Reading of the Law and who is priest or the servant of the Law, a minister of the Law, this position is only for the aid of organizing the Heads and not for governing the government of the Heads which they are ably entrusted with.
These Levites as we see in the person of Aaron must not listen to the people to interpret law, or leave the interpretation of the will of God to chance or conjecture, but to be committed to God’s Law scrupulously in ministering in serve towards the LORD GOD and to aid the people in repentance, that is worship with the people by the Law is his service and teaching the people the law, and helping the Elders apply the Law.
But other than the numbering of his own Levitical family with in the tribe of Levi, the Levite has no government power as a Head over another Head of another tribe, he is only the aid, the officer of the Judge and Head of 10, 50, 100, 1000, and at the top level of Headship as is vested in the Princes of the Tribe, there is aid in the judgment of the tribal territory of all 12 tribes by the Levitical judges represented by Aaron and His sons.
Consider this example of Moses the Law giver
When we view Moses’ fault we have record of, Consider the embodiment type of the Law of God having authority over the Law giver as a man:
Num_20:8 Take thy rod, and call the assembly, thou and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye to the rock before them, and it shall give forth its waters; and ye shall bring forth for them water out of the rock, and give drink to the congregation and their cattle.
Num 20:9 And Moses took his rod which was before the Lord, as the Lord commanded.
Num 20:10 And Moses and Aaron assembled the congregation before the rock, and said to them, Hear me, ye disobedient ones; must we bring you water out of this rock?
Num 20:11 And Moses lifted up his hand and struck the rock with his rod twice; and much water came forth, and the congregation drank, and their cattle.
Num 20:12 And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, Because ye have not believed me to sanctify me before the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.
Num 20:13 This is the water of Strife, because the children of Israel spoke insolently before the Lord, and he was sanctified in them.
…
Num_27:14 For ye rebelled against my commandment in the desert of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me at the water before their eyes:
Moses was held accountable to obey the commandments of the Lord, and in 2 ways we have this example Moses did not sanctify God in giving the water but himself in saying to “the people “must we fetch you water out of this rock?” and by not executing the word spoke in ‘speaking” to the Rock, but rather he “smote the rock twice”, and in God’s mercy he still in violation of Law gave a miraculous blessing, but he did not reward Moses according to Moses desire to enter the land – not to punish Moses but to be a witness to the people of the time and for us, that we , we, can learn from this ensample.
That is that, The Law must be used lawfully, and that no flesh is higher than the Rule of Law.
This presents an example for all the Heads of the people, from the Prince of a tribe to the Head of 10’s of families, that the Law is the highest authority in a Nation, not the priest (Aaron or his sons or his tribe), but the Law which the priest as Aaron ministers to. That the Law as the Word of God, as it Logically exists, and as it is written exactly by inspiration and preserved in record is the authority even over Moses.
All this hinges on that one point which established a Judge as a Son of God:
Deu_1:17 … He shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God’s: and the cause that is too hard for Him, bring it… ‘unto the Law and it will be heard’.
This one point of Law established the Judges at every level to be bound by the “judgment” which is God’s and to not rest until justice is satisfied and that also they shall not wrest or wrestle, that is turn aside the clear path of Justice according to the law: no expatiated justice evaluated by it’s cost, or decided by who can appear before the Judge with the best lawyer, or of fighting against reason to produce a more drawn out judgment, but Judges who are committed, simply:
Exo_23:1 Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
Exo 23:2 Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:
Exo 23:3 Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.
It is to the family and locality they are ordained as head to have the desire to see the law of God resolve the burden that exists between brethren, with only respect to the Law, and respect for the Levites ministry under the Law’s authority no differently than any other man, yet it is by the Law this Government functions, by the ordained Numbering of the Numberers.
Rex David
If you have ever wondered why in the world David and Israel was punished so harshly, for what could be read as a simple census, think again, David has stepped upon the Word of God’s toes and went far past his authority and Headship with His title as God’s anointed King when he acted as Head and Bishop / Episcope of all Israel and violated the Law of God’s Government:
1Ch_21:1 And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.
1Ch 21:2 And David said to Joab and to the rulers of the people, Go, number Israel from Beersheba even to Dan; and bring the number of them to me, that I may know it.
1Ch 21:3 And Joab answered, The LORD make his people an hundred times so many more as they be: but, my lord the king, are they not all my lord’s servants? why then doth my lord require this thing? why will he be a cause of trespass to Israel?
1Ch 21:4 Nevertheless the king’s word prevailed against Joab. Wherefore Joab departed, and went throughout all Israel, and came to Jerusalem.
1Ch 21:5 And Joab gave the sum of the number (Epi-scepheos / επισκεψεωςG1980) of the people unto David.
