If you have been keeping up with this outreach ministry for any period of time you will know that our annual Holy Convocations are based upon the Law of God as found in the Pentateuch as interpreted by an Agricultural observation the biblical year specified which is timed by the Sun, Moon and Stars.
In our Regional System we are about to celebrate one of the most sacred months in the biblical calendar called Ethanim which is begun by the recognition of the 7th New Moon after the month of Abib (green ears of barley).

This Month is observed by a special Sabbatical Holy New Moon Convocation called the day of “The Memorial of the Blowing of the Trumpets (KJV)” which we call ‘Memorial of Trumpets’ or Just ‘Trumpets’ for short.
Since the Memorial of Trumpets is the 7th New Moon we will be keeping it as we do the regular New Moons as a time of Church or Convocation a form of vocal sacrificial worship in thanksgiving, praise and contrition.
Every Month we remembrance of the liturgy of the biblical calendar in the specific time we are in, but this New Moon Convocation is a called by YHWH God to be a time of specific worship of a specific Holy Memorial- One of Trumpets and all that indicates from Scripture.
So, whether you will be joining us at the regional Kindred Hope Church for the observation of this special time or if you will wherever you are, please do remember this Holy time ordained by God as it is related to your location.
The Day begins at evening on November 1st and lasts until the evening of Nov 2nd.

The Schedule for this 7th New Moon,
which is a Holy Convocation for the Memorial of Trumpets:
Friday Nov 1st:
7-1 evening
We’ll have fellowship time with snacking meal as folks trickle in:
6:00 PM We will be gathered for worship & service with the singing of Psalms of praise and reading of Scripture together.
Rev. Hastings will be offering the remembrance of the 7th month liturgy.
Pastor Lowther will immediately follow the message with a time of Q & A from the congregation, ending with closing Psalms and Prayers.
Saturday Nov 2nd / 7-1
morning
Coffee will be provided in the Kitchen at about 6:00AM
and Pastor Lowther will be offering biblical discussion over Coffee
8:30 AM We will plan for breakfast together in the Hall lead by a Psalm and Prayer.
After breakfast we will plan for a kids’ discussion time with the pastor & presbytery: all kids from 19 and under are encouraged to be at the discussion with their fathers – we’ll try to make it not too boring! Just covering basics.
11:30AM Morning Worship Convocation Service is Scheduled
as is our usual time for the New Moon’s Holy Convocation:
Pastor Lowther is offering a sermon in relationship to the Feasts:
“How Holy is Holy Convocation?”
We will conclude our service with the usual Psalms and confessionals which are selected for the New Moon.
Lunch will follow the Convocation Service
5:00 PM and we will have a service of Psalm and prayer with a liturgical message from Rev. Hastings.
We will then conclude with the confessionals and the benediction.
We will keep this Schedule as best as possible, with wiggle room.

What does our church’s Reformed Worship look like?
- A Call to Worship the LORD YHWH together.
- Prayer guided by the direct words of Scripture.
- The Singing of the Psalms and Hymns contained in God’s Words (and none other)
- Responsive and joint Scripture readings
- A convocated Reading of the Law / Torah / Pentateuch (Old Testament Lesson)
- The Hearing of the Gospel (New Testament Lesson).
- A Message from the Elder (Bible study teaching sermon)
- Confessions and creeds from the scripture directly,
- Frequent use in recital of the 10 Commandments and Lord’s Prayer
- An affirmation of the fellowship and instruction which we have through the acknowledgment and forgiveness of sin from scriptures such as 1 John and Psalms of contrition which teach forgiveness of sin and fellowship with Father Son and Spirit through repentance.
- The use of the Historical Apostles Creed to confirm our commitment to the historically United Christian Gospel every mid-month service.
- The use of the Historic Athanasian Creed to confirm our functional trinitarian faith and knowledge at the beginning of every month at our evening New Moon Service.
- Liturgical biblical calendar remembrances in time as recorded in scripture.
