pt.6 Fathers, Elders and Churches (Covenantalism)

Most churches have strayed far from Israel’s law of church Government, and I believe the restoration of the familial and kindred church is a needed covenantal renewal, but when we are at a point where this is lost, I still believe God sent the gifts of the ministry to accomplish this restoration though it is begun in an imperfect form: But unto¬† us is given the gift of Christ to help us in these troubled times.¬† Continue reading

Family Church: Obedience, Responsibility & Faithfulness (Covenantalism pt.5)

Men must be men of their word, men of their vows and men of their oaths, responsible and faithfully obedient to God.

Sons must be preparing in obedience, responsibility and faithfulness of judgment to be the defenders and heads of their people before God.

Women: wives and daughters must look to their fathers and husbands as those who’s highest goal in society is¬†in regard to faithfulness to God, and have confidence that their brothers and family churches are there as their protectors and defenders in the future. Continue reading

pt.3 Distinctively Christian Covenants, Testimonies, Signs and Works.

In all testimonial signs the scripture appoints ‘elements’ and ‘works’ which comprise the ‘Sign’ and completed as a testimony of the Covenant when accompanied by the graciously given faith of God our Saviour .

Baptism: Water and the person being baptized or immersed- these are its major constituent elements.

Lord’s Supper: Bread (made of wheat or common cereal grain), Wine / Vine (Red wine resembling blood), the person Partaking- these are its major constituent elements. Continue reading
