Brotherhood & Brotherly Love pt. 5

“pt. 5 Generational Churches”

In this 5th part of our series, which is a subject study of Biblical Social Order.

We will consider the principles and laws of Brotherhood and Brotherly Love in the local and extended Church Congregation or Ecclesia as a Government of the brotherhood’s patriarchs: Presbyters, Elders and Overseers.
We will look at the generational abilities of a Church leader as spoken of in the Law of God, as well as his requirements of Faith and fidelity.

A Subject study of Social Order

Brotherhood & Brotherly Love

pt. 5 Generational Churches

Pro_17:17  A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

&

Lev_19:19  Ye shall keep my statutes.

Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind:

thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed:

neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.

Last week I began to discuss the sin of fornication as it is resident in race mixing or bastardization.

Iin scripture the Ecclesiastical government, is the Eldership and presbytery of the church, not the priesthood only, but the headship of judgment and militia of every Tribe in the nation with every family in their church as brethren who have come together to call upon the LORD, as brethren are to not accept as leader of any form who is strange to them, not a mixed person either /a mam-zur, because of how this will make the leadership in this case foremost strange, and violate the the principle of brotherlyhood & brotherly love, as taught on all governmental levels in a concentric way from the law of God.

King-ship, is resident in the kin. The very root of kin is found in the very word in our English language, as it corresponds to the prescription of the commandment:

“one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee”

and as well is proscription which says:

“thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother.” Deu 17:15

When we talk about church government, or ecclesiastical government we are strictly talking about Eldership and oversight of the eldership as it is expressed in the Scriptures, from the Book of Genesis to Revelation and even in the Deuterocanon Eldership and presbyterial government is the normal for family and church.

In the New Testament we have 2 well knwn passages and clear glimpses of what the Apostoles taught, as they brought it forth from the Law of God to the Nations who recieved the New Covenant.

1Ti_3:1  This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop/overseer, he desireth a good work.
1Ti 3:2  A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
1Ti 3:3  Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
1Ti 3:4  One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
1Ti 3:5  (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
1Ti 3:6  Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
1Ti 3:7  Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
1Ti 3:8  Likewise must the deacons/ minister/servant be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;
1Ti 3:9  Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
1Ti 3:10  And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.
1Ti 3:11  Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.
1Ti 3:12  Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
1Ti 3:13  For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

It does not take much to see that the bishops or overseers are to be exceptional in character and abilities, as are the minister of these men and the local body, the Deacon.

But above all it should be noted that the family value of these men is forefront, showing them to be able men, married and having children which is a witness to their ability to ‘rule’.

1Ti 3:5  (For if a man knows not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

It should be fairly easy to see the connection here with the emasculated man as is found in Deut 23:1 and how he is not capable of being a generational office in the church.

As this be so, he also couldn’t be of strange birth.

Paul’s to Titus say:

Tit_1:5  For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:
Tit 1:6  If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.
Tit 1:7  For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
Tit 1:8  But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;
Tit 1:9  Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

And again it is seen, that Paul looked at the polis the cities of Crete and found family men there of an impecable order and ordained them as Presbyters. Which are the same as the Elders of families as it is spoken of in the Law as early as Genesis.

To many, it is not realized but the presbyterial order is most elaborated upon in the book of Numbers, where the Numbering of the people by the bishops, who are judges of 10, 50, 100, 1000 ‘s men of war age is perfected in to an ecclesiastical and national government.

I submit to you, that if you want to understand the Apostolic tradition of church government all one needs to do is go to the Law of God for its order and ordination, the apostolic tradition and blueprint is found there and the LXX will make this all the more clear as one evaluates the Laws elders or Presbyters and bishops or Episcopates with those of the New Testament.

Many people who have become Christian anarchist, as they call themselves do not realize how much they owe to a well organized Church Government for the foundations of social order.

Where it not for the early Chistian’s devoted to God’s law and their own ecclesia with its family based patriarchial lead governments, many a time would the civilized world have collapsed in Europe.

In reality for the Church is to be the only form of Government that deals in equity in fact, and it is the first teacher godly justice with father and mother as members. And in our ancient world the Presbytery and the Overseer served as councilors of the families they were concentrically part of as a brotherhood. Litigation at law was taught by the apostles to be brought to the church. 1Co_6:1

In fact, the ecclesiological system, with all of its faults that patched the Roman world in Europe for hundreds of years, because there was a time when Christians, especially the heads of the churches we lawyers by office, and taught to think and meditate on the justice of the Law of God as they used it to teach the Gospel, and it is certainly no stretch to say the earlier one goes into Christian church history the more lawful the people were.

It was the ecclesiastical government that held the nation together when the secular state failed, because our Christian forbearers believed understood the church to be not only the pillar and grounds of the truth in terms of the Gospel of Jesus Christ the way to eternal life and salvaton from sin, but they also recognized that Scripture via the apostolic traditions from the Law of God did not metaphorically or ‘in spirit only’ teach the Kingdom of Heaven, The kingdom of God, but that infact the church was to be the foundational fundamental structure of that Kingdom represented on earth. “The pillar and ground of the truth”

1Co_6:1  Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?
1Co 6:2  Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
1Co 6:3  Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
1Co 6:4  If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.

Do you should consider how low the Israel of God has fallen today, and how those Christian anarchists who hate the concept of church and ecclesia and congregations to gather are destroying the patch the binds the tears in civilization when they reduce the remnant to separated threads.

And don’t think for minute this is not the worlds intentions as well, either to cloth the world with garments mingled of diverse kinds or to separate every thread.

The goal in this is to destroy justice, and pervert truth and offer another law.

And notice what he says to the Corinthian brotherhood:

1Co_6:5  I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren? (parphrased quote from Deu 1:15-16)
1Co 6:6  But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.
1Co 6:7  Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another.

It is for this cause both the brotherhood and the brotherly love of the local church is important to consider.
And this is why we are considering this principle being exercised in the Church or ecclesia, the Congregation of the LORD which stated

KJV

Deu_23:2  A bastard or mamzer, one blemished strange shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD.

… Because it plays a role in preservation of the nation and of the cizilized world of truth and justice.

And so I am going to take the rest of today’s bible study, in showing a brief summary of the Patriarchal Congregation of Israel, which is the Apostolic blue print of Church or ecclesiastical government, and show how it is related to this subject of brotherhood and brotherly love on the most primary level, and how the knowledge of God’s on these matters of patriarchal, tribal and ethnic inheritance laws are integral in understanding success of the church as a governmental mediator in the family of the kingdom of Heaven to earth..

Biblically speaking, when Israel was made a Sovreign nation and separated from Egypt in the Exodus, the very first system of government that naturally was ordained, and never opposed was that of the Elders, the old men, the grey-haired ones, the beards.

Exo_3:16  God says to Moses: “Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me…”

Apparently, this was a system so natural and organic to the tribes of Israel that even the Egyptian task masters used it and allowed it or couldn’t stop it from existing.

Exo_3:18  … thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go…

It is to the elders in

Exo_12:21  ” Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.”

From the most primitive times it was this council of elders natural to the tribes by brootherhood and patriarchy and therefor by headship that ruled as representatives.
And yet it is not until Ex 18 that we find the God ordained arraigment of the brotherhood, where the order of captains or heads in the sense of judges are appointed in a governmental order by the constitution of the Law of God:

Exo 18:21  Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:
Exo 18:22  And let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for thyself, and they shall bear the burden with thee.

The first principle as is naturally maintained as was stated in Deut 17 is “Out of all the people”
It is from there the “able men”, who are faithful and religious in the definitive sense are found “such as fear God, “ who are proven to be “men of truth” with a persoality an witness of charcter that they, “hate covetousness”

These are the ones to be “place over” the people of the brother hood: , to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.

Someone might say, ‘it doesn’t say “Out of all the people” is in exclusion to a stranger or a bastard.’

Turn to the commentary on this verse provided by the Holy Spirit through Moses:

Deu 1:13  Take you wise men, and understanding, and known among your tribes, and I will make them rulers over you.

Deu 1:15  So I took the chief of your tribes, wise men, and known, and made them heads over you, captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, and captains over fifties, and captains over tens, and officers among your tribes.
Deu 1:16  And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him.

Just as sited in 1Cor_6:6-7 of the brethren

The fact that the text says the strangers cause is to be tried and heard justly or righteously just as the brother’s cause is heard.
In other words, there is to be one law of justice for the home born and the stranger.

Now I mentioned Numbers as the perfected order of the revelation of God on these matters

Numbers_1:1  And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
Numbers 1:2  Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the house of their fathers, with the number of their names, every male by their polls;
Numbers 1:3  From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.
Numbers 1:4  And with you there shall be a man of every tribe; every one head of the house of his fathers.

Num_1:18  And they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month, and they declared their pedigrees after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.

A congregation’s numbered or over seer that is a bishop is part of a pedigree, a generation, a house, a family, a tribe

Now let me again tie this into:

Deu_23:2  A bastard (mamzer, one blemished strange) shall not enter into the congregation ( Church/Ecclesia ) of the LORD;

even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD.

This plays a role in preservation of the nation and of the civilized world in terms of truth and justice.

I pointed out that Deu_23:2 is not saying strangers or mongrel persons can not worship the only true God with a native born church, as is obviously seen in a great many provisions of worship made for the stranger, but what it is saying as is backed up by many a comentary on the subject and a strict reading of the original text is as Mathew Henry sites :

“… they are hereby excluded from bearing office in the congregation: none of these must be elders or judges, lest the honour of the magistracy should thereby be stained.

Others think they are (also) excluded only from marrying with Israelites.

Thus the learned bishop Patrick inclines to understand it; yet we find that when this law was put in execution after the captivity they separated from Israel, not only the strange wives, but all the mixed multitude, see Neh_13:1-2.

It is obvious that this law is concerning a male office in the church, as the context of the verse, especially that which precedes this law says, in

Deu_23:1  He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD.

And this is the first proscription listed in the text in this line up of verses dealing with a generational church.

It must be remembered that the theonomic government is a patriarchal, father-based government- is a brotherhood in fact.
Both of Matt Henry’s citations are accurate and consistently correct.

No man would have his child disqualify himself from the leadership of the church on account of a mixed marriage, thus this law serves as more than a law for the Church leadership, but that of the whole national Church.

The emasculated man is unfit to lead the church, serve as Overseer or Presbyter because he cannot produce generations.
The child born to a strange woman though he is of a native-born father is a Bastard / mamzer, he is strange, and he therefore cannot serve as an elder of presbyter- he cannot lead the native church of the land.

See for your slef the others peoples in the context the same is said of an Ammonite and a Moabite as well, and a less limited amount of time to the discression of the leadership existant in the church ecclesia is extended to the child born to an Egyptian or Edomite woman.

The reason this could never be construed to be talking about the child of a stranger either a man with a native-born wife or of any of the others… is because no other people had an inheritance in the native land of Israel.

All inheritance both of nation (ethnicity) and of country (property) was given by a father, and not by a mother. And the only place where there is an exception to this rule is when a virgin bares a son to the Holy Spirit. And that is an only begotten event resident in Jesus Christ, whichnot only gives him the right as king of the Heavens but also as King of Israel the son and inheritor of David the king.

In all lawful unions of a man’s seed and a woman’s womb, the law of God dictates that the father passes on his name and tribe, his kinship and his brotherhood as a kins man to his children, and never is the woman in preference as the insturment of this inheritance.

Yet there is a resolution to such a case where property or land inheritance of a homeland, a tribal inheritance as well

Num_36:1  And the chief fathers of the families of the children of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near, and spake before Moses, and before the princes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel:
Num 36:2  And they said, The LORD commanded my lord to give the land for an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel: and my lord was commanded by the LORD to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother unto his daughters.
Num 36:3  And if they be married to any of the sons of the other tribes of the children of Israel, then shall their inheritance be taken from the inheritance of our fathers, and shall be put to the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they are received: so shall it be taken from the lot of our inheritance.
Num 36:4  And when the jubile of the children of Israel shall be, then shall their inheritance be put unto the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they are received: so shall their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.
Num 36:5  And Moses commanded the children of Israel according to the word of the LORD, saying, The tribe of the sons of Joseph hath said well.
Num 36:6  This is the thing which the LORD doth command concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them marry to whom they think best; only to the family of the tribe of their father shall they marry.
Num 36:7  So shall not the inheritance of the children of Israel remove from tribe to tribe: for every one of the children of Israel shall keep himself to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
Num 36:8  And every daughter, that possesseth an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel, shall be wife unto one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may enjoy every man the inheritance of his fathers.
Num 36:9  Neither shall the inheritance remove from one tribe to another tribe; but every one of the tribes of the children of Israel shall keep himself to his own inheritance.
Num 36:10  Even as the LORD commanded Moses, so did the daughters of Zelophehad:
Num 36:11  For Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married unto their father’s brothers’ sons:
Num 36:12  And they were married into the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father.
Num 36:13  These are the commandments and the judgments, which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses unto the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.

Do you realize that the daughters of Zelphohad were so faithful to their father’s house, to the inheritance entrusted to them from their father, that though they could have forfeit their inheritance to the next of kin from their father, the kinsman redeemer, if their individualism was more important to them? But rather than idividualism resident in their self will they rather married their cousins in preference to the law of God, though the Law left an out for their will to prove their brotherly love:

…Let them marry to whom they think best…

By The Way, This was not an uncomon practice in these days or in the 1800’s for that matter, to marry ones first or second cousin to preserve family wealth. But, nevertheless this is what they chose by brotherly love, as is the choose to perserve ones generation in all forms of leadership by taking a wife from thy brethren racially, of the same flesh and bone and children.

Another example of the preservation of ones generations which also shows the importance of blood lines and male inheritance.

Deu_25:5  If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger: her husband’s brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty of an husband’s brother unto her.
Deu 25:6  And it shall be, that the firstborn which she beareth shall succeed in the name of his brother which is dead, that his name be not put out of Israel.

Do you see how precious the preservation of genetic inheritance is to the people of God? to the church of all people? to the faithful to the word of God?
For a woman who has not borne children to man whose had no child it is forbidden by the law to not first marry her dead husband’s kinsman redeemer.

Because it is through her, as bone of bone and flesh of flesh to her husband that her brother-in-law can redeem his failed brother’s line.

When you think of brotherhood this may or may not be what you think about, but I assure you by the holy Scriptures it is. And in times past this was not unknown to Christian men.

But, because of the perversion of this ungodly world and the lust which it imparts, these laws of Almighty God are hardly asserted as Brotherly Love, though in fact they are exactly that, Love of the highest order.
Let me make this point today as I made it last week concerning brethren having the same bone and flesh and children of a homogenous physiognomy as spoken of in Nehemiah 5:

1Jn_3:17  But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

1Jn_4:20  If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

“Renewal”
(The Work of the New Covenant as taught by the New Moon)

This message is a subject study which looks at the nature of Spiritual Renewal as can be understood by the Heavenly ordination illustrated in the New Moon Chodesh of every biblical Month.

We will be discussing How an Elect Believer first hears the Word of God and is given the gift of Faith and is further moved to persevere in his life as he applies the Word of God as Truth and Light.

Col 3:19  Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
Col 3:20  Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
Col 3:21  Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.
Col 3:22  Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:
Col 3:23  And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
Col 3:24  Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
Col 3:25  But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.

2Co 4:13  We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
2Co 4:14  Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
2Co 4:15  For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
2Co 4:16  For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
2Co 4:17  For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
2Co 4:18  While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Eph_4:1  I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
Eph 4:2  With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Eph 4:3  Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Eph 4:4  There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
Eph 4:5  One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Eph 4:6  One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Eph 4:7  But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Eph 4:8  Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
Eph 4:9  (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
Eph 4:10  He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
Eph 4:11  And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Eph 4:12  For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Eph 4:13  Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Eph 4:14  That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Eph 4:15  But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Eph 4:16  From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
Eph 4:17  This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
Eph 4:18  Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
Eph 4:19  Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
Eph 4:20  But ye have not so learned Christ;
Eph 4:21  If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
Eph 4:22  That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
Eph 4:23  And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
Eph 4:24  And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Eph 4:25  Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
Eph 4:26  Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
Eph 4:27  Neither give place to the devil.
Eph 4:28  Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
Eph 4:29  Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Eph 4:30  And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Eph 4:31  Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
Eph 4:32  And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves;
but our sufficiency is of God;
Who also hath made us able ministers of the new Covenant;
not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
(2Co_3:5-6)

Liturgy for this 9th Month of Chisleu

Nehemiah 1:1-11

The words of Nehemiah son of Hachaliah, ( For I was the king’s cupbearer.) And it came to pass in the month Chisleu,
in the twentieth year, as I was in Shushan the palace,
2 That Hanani, one of my brethren, came, he and certain men of Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews that had escaped, which were left of the captivity, and concerning Jerusalem.
3 And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire.
4 And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven,

A PRAYER FOR THE 9TH MONTH OF CHISLEU

5 I beseech thee, O YHWH God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments:

6 Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father’s house have sinned.
7 We have dealt very corruptly against thee, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments, which thou commandedst thy servant Moses.
8 Remember, I beseech thee, the word that thou commandedst thy servant Moses, saying, If ye transgress, I will scatter you abroad among the nations:
9 But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there.
10 Now these are thy servants and thy people, whom thou hast redeemed by thy great power, and by thy strong hand.
11 O Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper,
I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man.

AMEN

About JS Lowther

Foremost I know that I am a chief sinner saved by Grace. I am a servant of YHWH Almighty the one true God Who is Father, Son and Spirit. I believe in God's only begotten and perfect Son Jesu(s) Christ whose redemption power of my soul I have Faith in and testify of. Having been redeemed by the blood of Christ, I wish to no longer spend my time in the lusts of the flesh and of this world, but to promote the Gospel of the Kingdom by means of the knowledge of the New Covenant, a reNewal of the Covenant God made with his people Israel in the blood of Christ (Jer 31:31 and Heb 8:8) whereby He writes His Law upon the Heart and Mind beside the forgiveness of sin and transgressions. I believe Christ Jesus is the incarnate Son of God as the WORD made flesh, and the son of man born of the virgin Mary conceived of the Holy Spirit: I believe Christ Jesus Lived a perfect life for us as a living sacrifice as well as a pattern of the Sanctified newness of life a believer has in Him, I believe Christ Jesus died a cursed death on the Cross for His people of Covenant who are sinners, and I believe in Christ Jesus who Resurrected with power from Death from the grave to Justify the offenders. This is the same Jesus who is indeed the Son of David and king of Israel, who is both LORD and Christ over all the kings and dominions of the earth! In the fullness of time YHWH will regather his people under the Head of the Church, Jesu(s) Christ to affect his will according to the Lord's prayer, Psalm 2, 8 and 110 as well as Genesis 1:26. The focus of my administration of the Gospel is like unto my Lord's who said "I have come not but for the lost sheep of the house of Israel.."(Mathew 15:24), and so I have come to my European kinsman according to the flesh. It is my mission to show the Israel of God the Salvation which is taught by Scripture Alone and offered in all ages by Grace Alone through Faith Alone in the work of Christ Alone to the Glory of GOD Alone. As a modern day Puritan separatist it is my goal to purify the church of Christ with Faith heretofore stated. I am studying to show my self approved, if you have any questions just ask!
