Part 6

From a Mountain and to a Mountain

(Fulfilled x Kingdom = at hand * Repent x Faith = Gospel )

The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand:

Repent ye, and Believe the Gospel.

A focus on a Kingdom acting more like the KING

As the focus of the prior compilations have been on the Stone of Daniel’s interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar dream, this Stone which we have thoroughly identified as being the Kingdom of God as well as the kingdom of Heaven as spoken of by John the Baptist, Jesu the Christ as well as Christ’s disciples literally referring to those who speak according to the testimonies and the Law of YHWH God as revealed in His Son, these original 12 were called apostles, a word which directly refers to ambassadors of this very Kingdom, a kingdom which to be preached according to Mat_10:6…to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Thus a large portion of this study has focused upon the Kingdom Israel as a Nation or Ethnic people who are infact the Many Nations or Ethneh, the ethnic people of Abraham’s promise destine to contain the kingdom of Priests and the Holy Nation called out of Gentile darkness according to sin’s Committed against the Law of YHWH in the services they preformed unto other God’s and in vain or empty worships, services that were used to worship YHWH contrary to the Way he prescribed by his Eternal law committed to the hand of Moses, which we call the Law of Moses.

It is to the next portion of understanding the holistic Mount from which the stone kingdom has come from, as well as what it is destine to be and now is. While the inevitable message of the Chosen Generation of Ethnic Israel is primary in the understanding of the Gospel of the Kingdom, and as that which is part of the Dream seen by Daniel in Dan_2:44 as this stone to crush the Kingdom’s of this world.

THE ROCK(S)

The other aspect which we have dealt with is the references in Scripture which call YHWH the Rock of Israel, which we may briefly yet concisely see in:

Deu_32:4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

Secondarily the Rock is a reference to Abraham, the patriarch called according to the foreknowledge of God and given the Grace of YHWH’s choosing as Grace which is irrevocable, a gift which is without repentance gifted to Abraham and his Children who had literally according to the word of YHWH came from Abraham’s loins in his nearly dead old age; to this point we focused in our past messages particularly, to show YHWH’s re-redemptive work with the people of Israel according to the song of Moses.

Isa_51:1 Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.

Isa 51:2 Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.

Yet do not miss that it s the followers of righteousness which shall look unto the Rocks from which they have come, not one of these rocks stand independent of each other. YHWH is the mountain from which Abraham had come and had been called with out YHWH’s calling Abraham is nothing. Likewise to the next level of this Stone kingdom come from the Rock or Mountain, it is the Law which proceeds from YHWH given to the people of Abraham.

It was in the first part of this series where we had seen in Heb_1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom.

Heb 1:9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. Where it is not only proclaimed that Christ due to his heirship by descent from YHWH himself as His father, or by his being the one seed of Abraham’s son’s through his virgin mother Merry which gave him right to David’s thrown by descent as well, but it was upon the Rock of YHWH’s Righteous law which gave him right as Christ, the king, the Anointed of YHWH and Ruler of His kingdom.

Thus we have this Righteousness as yet another aspect of this coronation which establishes Jesu the Word made flesh as the King of YHWH’s kingdom, as well this same righteousness establishes the righteousness the citizens of the chosen generation must attain to be a kingdom priests/a royal priest hood and a Holy Nation. a scepter to be in the hand of every true son of Abraham… lively stones.

A little Hebrew lesson: Mountains, Rocks and Stones

In Daniel the word mountain (H2906 טוּר/ TUR, this is Chaldean, while the Hebrew equivalent is H6697 צר / TsUR) This word is often translated ‘Rock’. It is to be understood that a Rock /TsUR is that which makes up a הר / EhuR (H2022), that is a specific mount or hill, upward projection of TsUR (s) or Rocks. From these rocks comes stones or a stone (H68 אבן/ ABeN) these may break or chip or be hewn from the prior.

For a Biblical application of this knowledge, in:

Exo_3:1 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain (EhuR) of God, even to Horeb. S it is seen that Horeb is a mountain.

As well in Exo_17:6 Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock (TsUR) in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock (TsUR), and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink.

Here in Horeb, where the burning bush was shown, is the place where YHWH gives drink from the same mount is as well the Rock of Horeb the TsUR, just as in Daniel only in the Hebrew dialect.

It is further into this mount: Deu_5:2 The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.

As well this references:

Exo_19:3 And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;

Exo 19:4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.

Exo 19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

Exo 19:6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

Hereafter, Moses was delivered the 10 commandments, The Law of the Kingdom of Heaven and of God is confirmed.:

Exo_20:22 And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.

….

Exo_24:12 And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.

Exo_31:18 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

This is where the first set tablet was written with out hands, written by the finger of YHWH God entirely.

Consider:

YHWH God took a Mountain, he selected a Rock, he brought the people to that specific place and from thence YHWH, with out hands took a Stone (ABeN) and upon that portion of the mountain HE placed his law, the spoken word YHWH himself wrote.

Unfortunately, after this point, Israel broke their covenant by worshiping the Golden calf they call YHWH, Moses is told and he breaks the stone tablets written by YHWH God and rebukes the people. After this of course,

Exo_33:19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

Exo 33:20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.

Exo 33:21 And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:

Exo 33:22 And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:

Exo 33:23 And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

AND then…

Exo_34:1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest.

Exo 34:2 And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to me in the top of the mount…

Exo_34:4 And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone.

Exo 34:5 And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.

Exo 34:6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,

Exo 34:7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

Exo 34:27 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.

Exo 34:28 And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.

Exo 34:29 And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.

Now it is obvious that Israel would have trouble with following God’s law no matter it it were written by the God upon the stone or if Moses wrote it by his hand upon the stone. No matter what force employed the stone as the tablet to contain the Law, it was the people who had the problem not the stone or the word or the God which wrote spoke the Words of the Law of God.

To this point I wish to make a summary point in thought as we had prior read and seen in John 1 “The Word was made flesh..the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesu the Christ…no ma has seen God at any time, but the only begot has declared him!”

This is the perfection of Christ in the comparison with the testimony we just read.

Heb_8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

Heb 8:9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

Let us continue in Isaiah 51:

Isa_51:4 Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people.

Isa 51:5 My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust.

Isa 51:6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

Isa 51:7 Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.

Isa 51:8 For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.

My God I am ready for the old things to vanish away, the elements of this world which surround us to wax old, and for those of us who are looking up to the king of heaven to know YHWH, to have his righteousness in our mind and his law upon our heart.

This message we just read is in perfect continuation from Isa_40:1-8, which John the Baptist proclaimed to be voice of one crying in the wilderness to prepare the Way of YHWH, as found in the coming of Jesus Christ (the way the truth and the life), Yet before the manifestation of the word made flesh, Moses to Isaiah to John the Baptist, to Peter saw the Word of YHWH as well as YHWH himself, as well as Abraham our father, as well as the word made flesh in Jesus Christ

To such Peter equated the Word and Law of God to another aspect of this agraget anology:

1Pe_2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,

1Pe 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

It was as Exodus 19 told us when YHWH God spoke from off the Mount: “If you Obey My voice indeed, then you shall be a kingdom of priests and a holy nation…”

The Genetic or Ethnic make up causes one to be a chip of the rock, a stone from off the mountain, but it does not cause you to be a lively stone capable of building the kingdom, nor will it cause you to be founded on the cornerstone, rather will be come a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense if Obedience to the Voice and Word of YHWH is not done Indeed, by Faith, that is truely.

Consider the words of John to the Pharisees:

Luk_3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

Now the simplicity of this verse tells us that God can take stones from off the ground as make them sons of Abraham, but this would not be so, a stone, even if creation was repeated would not be a literal son of Abraham unless that created being was made from the loins of Abraham according to the promises, the testimonies we trust in as a light to light the ways of YHWH God.

Rather the preaching of John is in references to the same verses on baptismal cleansing to repentance:

Eze_36:24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

Eze 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

Eze_36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

John was not referencing stones on the literal earth, he was referencing lively stones which live by Faith, John was speaking of what Ezekiel was speaking of not of a make believe doctrine of spiritual son’s of Abraham or of Israel that is contrary to the testimonies and Promises of God contained in the Word of God. All we have to do is read the context of the teaching of John hear and it would be evident that John’s rebuke is to the sons of Abraham who think their lineage will save them with out a renewed heart, by the new covenant.

YHWH GOD is able to take our stony heart and make it alive! As Abraham, was as good as dead by reason of his age, so are we even in our youth we are as good as dead with out Faith! The Grace of God is irrevocable, yet this Grace is through Faith, just as our Father Abraham had received, which was imputed to him as Righteousness, that is Abraham was Justified by His Faith not by his calling, and by his sanctification, that is his obedience:

Gen_26:5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws. and for this reason Isaac Abraham’s literal son continued to receive the Promises, the oath which YHWH swore unto Abraham and he believed.

Thus this next course of understanding of this kingdom of stones, and the kingdom of the stone is the final symbolism how this Stone grows to be a kingdom, namely, that the Stone and the Rock from the mount are also a combined aspect of the Law of YHWH God, all of which is the totality of the Son of God the ma Jesus Christ the word made flesh, YHWH’s Genetics, Abraham’s Genetics, the Word of made flesh, who lived the perfect life, the king of the stone kingdom. Lively stones, stone tablets come to life in the flesh of our lives, growing to a mighty kingdom, with the holy temple to be seated upon it’s foundation…

Heb_8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

Heb 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

Heb 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Here is the calling of the kingdom made known, the Gospel of the Kingdom preached by Peter in 1Peter 2, the Stone kingdom is a Kingdom of Law, founded upon the foundation of the Word of God which has no plausible reason to be in objection or rival against Jesus Christ and his redemption work found in the New Covenant made in his blood, By hailing the perfection of God’s Law proclaimed by the glory and Word of God it crowns Christ as Lord of All, it is to this point that we may understand the coronation of the captain of our Salvation in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Php_2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

Php 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

Php 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Php 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Notice, Paul excludes the obedience which comes by social peer pressure, but he calls beyond the stone tablet to the breath of the Word of God which causes men to fear and tremble at the presence of Almighty God!

Obedience indeed, not in pseudo-spiritual heart felt kinda way, where our sins according to the flesh never brought into subjection, but rather it is an obedience indeed which drops us to our literal knees, the ones we walk with (not the spiritual knees of the heart alone, as some have said) but that we are willing and loyal subjects to the Name of Jesus Christ! For as Isaiah said when he first penned these word in :

Isa_45:23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Isa_45:24 Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.

Isa 45:25 In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

The Word in Righteousness causing us to bow to the perfect Word and swear “In YHWH Have I righteousness and strength!” To this pledge of allegiance do we establish the Kingdom, to this pledge the incensed against him are confused, that is that the literal seed of Israel shall be justified, made righteous and glory…by the righteous word of YHWH God!

Here is the Delivery of the New Covenant, a heart and Mind bowed to the Name of Christ as the Word made flesh, the Name of a King which carries in it the blinding perfection of the Glory of God revealing unto us from heaven the faulted flesh in need of being obedient indeed.

Heb_8:13 In that he saith, A new, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Are we as a people ready for the old man to vanish away? are we ready for the inward man to fight for his king and kingdom, starting with self government in our heart and mind in our inward parts? Are we ready to walk in His ways as He desires? Contrary to the non-biblical doctrine which even nomian and Torah observant believers hold, that this is in reference to the vanishing away of portions of God’s Law ordained for His kingdom, NO, Not one jot or tittle will pass from this Law!

Rather this verse as all others which speaks to the completed work of Christ is in reference to Sin! Our faulted flesh!

1Jn 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

The Altar of unhewn stone found in the dream of Daniel, which came from the mount crushed the principalities and powers, and the rulers of the darkness of this world, the Idol’s and self governments of our own fleshly dictates in our non-renewed heart and mind, that is the force which drives the kingdom’s of men and maintains it’s power. The Stone first turns to flesh in our heart, makes us livley stones to grow unto a holy temple:

Eph 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

Eph 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

Eph 2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

Eph 2:17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
